my first thought: We can see a deep laceration wound on the lower portion of its back, meaning the victim was most likely assaulted from behind. Also, look at the feathers scattered around the lawn: I’d say the first blow was delivered under that tree and the victim tried to fight back, there and here. The body was abandoned in full view because someone probably walked by, forcing the unsub to flee the scene, but let me tell you - this was personal.

derailed is a really interesting episode to watch with the knowledge that reid's mother has schizophrenia, and it makes me wonder how much of the information he offers is because of his general knowledge, and how much is personal experience.

i lean towards the second, largely because "reid knows that tardive dyskinesia is a condition that can develop from prolonged use of antipsychotic medication because his mother takes antipsychotic medication and has for a long time" is a more interesting explanation that "reid knows that tardive dyskinesia is a condition that can develop from prolonged use of antipsychotic medication because he knows a lot about a lot."

i could go either way on whether he knows because diana at one point developed it (it's not always permanent), or because he researched the side-effects of antipsychotics and came across it.

I think that my biggest fear of a Spencer cameo/return in s17 is that now they have the chance to freely cuss, so they just make him do it. Often.

And like- no, my man only cusses at the original when under extreme duress or for comic effect (the punchline being that he even cussed to be begin with) a character saying fuck is funny of course, I am not an language purist. But it has to fit their personality, y'know?

At one point I think you said if Ander saw Sahota as he is now, he wouldn't realize it was himself at first. I've been wondering, would any of the main crew recognize Ander as Sahota if they saw him?

not at first, especially if Current Sahota was still with them, since the sudden appearance of a younger version of your trainer isn't exactly something they'd expect ahaha

after getting a good look at him, most of them would think he looks very similar to Sahota, and draw the conclusion that they're cousins or brothers

I know I talk a lot about my headcannon of Maeve hitting on Spencer 24/7 (for those of you who are just seeing this now I have a headcannon that if Maeve lived she would be the most chaotic girlfriend but in the best way possible she would be hitting on Spencer 24/7. Its probably one of my favourite headcannons I ever thought of.) but I rarely talk about Spencer side about how when this happens he would go blue screen every time, I call it the dumbifcation of Spencer Reid.

If everyone is sitting down talking Maeve will walk in and sit on Spencer’s lap regardless if there’s space for her or not and that’s the second that Spencer stops talking and completely forgets what he was saying. The only thing he’s focused on right now is his wonderful beautiful girlfriend in his lap, the other team members can visually see his IQ growing down.

Maeve is very affectionate and once Spencer got comfortable with her he slowly started to become more affectionate so now she’s always holding his hand, wrapping her arms around his, hugging him from behind, anything so when this happens again absolutely nothing there’s not a single thought in that man’s brain. Similar to when their kissing, the minute Maeve’s lips are on his hes a goner. She finds the whole thing hilarious and Spencer adorable of course.

Headcanon that sometimes an member of the BAU would say something super stupid on purpose just to see if Spencer chokes them with his tie. But baby boy just super earnestly correct them, goes on like two tangents, and goes back to his work any side comment or anything.
