welcome to the usual keep reading lore yapping section. will try to keep this fairly concise but i make no promises it did not stay concise. im sorry in advance

aoharu - park sekai vs theme: high school students in a band, but unlike leoni vs, their afterschool practices are outside of the school

miku - the "cool senpai", except shes not actually older than aoharu... in fact, shes younger than all of aoharu (if only barely younger than ichika)! shes a 1st year high schooler like ichisaki! but she is the mentor figure to them in her experience with music. - shes also not actually that "cool" once you get to know her, although shes pretty chill shes also got some rather silly interests. including collecting stickers to stick on her guitar case. - the main vocalist of the band, but shes got a bit of experience with most of the instruments that the others play. shes no expert but she knows how to play any of them. currently trying to improve her guitar skills! she brings it around with her a lot of the time for the impression it gives to others

len - alongside rin, they main guitar and keyboard. most of the time its len on guitar and rin on keyboard, but theyre both capable of filling both roles and swap occasionally. hes the one usually helping miku improve her guitar skills! unlike miku though, he doesnt carry his guitar around everywhere he goes. - playful but laidback. hell mess with his friends but hes not going around getting into trouble besides that, really - also a 1st year! in fact, the kagamines and miku are childhood friends :) theyve managed to stick together for a long time

yyj - backstage sekai vs theme: idols who have been kind of... abandoned by their management and have to take up those roles themselves

miku - cheerful, bubbly, what you'd typically expect from an idol... except shes also stressed out of her mind because yeah, the sekai isnt exactly... hospitable, to say the least. it doesnt always show and she can cool down from it, but when you live in a world of sprawling hallways and rooms that should have people in them but dont, it definitely has some Effects. - when shes not worrying about that shes quite dedicated to her practice, after all, an idol never stops! - her energy transfers into a bit of everything she does, really. fast talker, fast walker, she can be hard to keep up with if you arent ready for it.

luka - a more mature, gentle idol. she can put on plenty of energy when performing, but she takes things at an easier pace outside of practice. she enjoys her quiet free time. - a lot less tense than miku is about the whole sekai situation, not to say she doesnt feel the effects of it either. shes just better at hiding her feelings about it.

fts - alleyway sekai vs theme: street musicians, but in a darker, rougher direction than vbs

miku - is this a miku or a mikuo? no one really knows and theyre not telling. theyll answer to miku regardless. - very much a troublemaker, gets into fights a lot. can be tough to get along with because theyre pretty abrasive, but they also know their purpose as a sekai miku. getting help from them can just be frustrating sometimes - kaito has been trying to get them to cool down a bit, to mixed success

kaito - livehouse owner (i havent named his livehouse yet...), kind of a stern dad guy. cool, tough, serious, you get the idea. not a bad guy, but he will be hard on fts and the other vs when they need to be straightened out. - despite that, his livehouse is open to performers of all experience levels. just prove youre willing to give it your best shot and hell let you perform. this is a problem for fts, when theyre struggling to get things together as a unit.

hapisen - headquarters sekai vs theme: comic book/cartoon superheroes! they even live in a superhero tower!

miku - shes kinda your straightforward superhero prodigy type, extremely talented as a hero despite her young age. loud, energetic, but very kind and happy to help anyone in need. - by extension shes also got your very typical superhero powers. flight, super strength, etc. she doesnt use them that often around the base though, in fact, most of the vs dont use their powers in the base that often. better off saving them for when theyre out doing hero things!

rin - one half of a superhero pair, obviously. her powers do function on their own and shes capable of doing things without help, but shes a bit weak on her own. but when together with len, their powers amplify to something stronger than either of them separately. i think they probably have electricity powers. - shes a bit reckless in the field, but shes very enthusiastic about being a superhero! super high energy girl, always bouncing around the base getting ready for whenever shes needed next

kyushumi - woodland sekai vs theme: fae royalty, specifically with a butterfly style focus

miku - very quiet and reserved, shes a bit awkward during interactions with most people, but shes well meaning. no ones sure where she came from, even the other vs, and that might have something to do with how she acts - she will stare at you from the bushes and youll just have to get used to it. shes just curious about things, and she wants to observe kyushumi to figure out the best ways she can try to help them.

meiko - technically the fae queen? but she doesnt often act like it, she tries to be more approachable. shes still got a bit of an imposing aura, but shell act more warm and kind to those around her. she is secretive though, and despite her kindness, theres a bit of detachment from everyone. - mikus guardian, since no one really knows how miku got here, so someone has to keep an eye on her. she also considers herself kyushmis guardian, but since theyre not always within reach due to the disconnect between sekais and the real world, theres only so much she can do. she tries her best with what she can

Hi there! Here are some silly headcanons I've been thinking about the past few days. I've been listening and drawing Vocaloid a lot lately and this idea popped in my head, so I hope you like it!! A good friend of mine helped me with this💚

Ok so I headcanon there is a common room in the Polar Tang, with a couple of long sofas and where every member of the crew has their own little space somehow, like walls covered in posters and shelves filled with, books and even plushies of marine animals and their hobbies.

You were spending one morning there, listening to your favorite Vocaloid playlist in a den den mushi (you know, like the ones that appear in film red) when Law arrived, looking for a medicine book he didn’t have at his office.

Normally he would have just walked out the room, but as your den den mushi started playing Tokyo Teddy Bear, his eyes couldn't help but rush to look at you.

You noticed it and glanced at him as well. As your eyes met, he quickly looked back, grabbing the book and heading out the room.

"You like Vocaloid, captain?"

It took him a few seconds to answer before leaving you there. "Why would I do? It's a waste of time".

You were confused but didn't think much about it.

Until a couple of days later, when you walked past the door of his office and heard something familiar...

"Shinkai shoojo mada mada shizumu"

You couldn't believe it. You opened the door and looked at him with a smirk on your face, meeting with his shocked, flushed red face.

"IT'S NOT WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE!" He shouted at you before you left the room giggling, hoping you wouldn't tell the rest of the crew.

He's not the biggest fan, but since Bepo is, he ended up liking a few songs. He would never admit it out loud though, he thinks it would ruin his image.

I can't stop thinking he listens to the most edgy Vocaloid songs... . ...

You know, Lost One's Wheeping, Ghost Rule, Aishite Aishite Aishite and more.

Definitely enjoys Kikuo more than any other vocaloid producer. Also Wowaka.

Nobody knows about this, but he knows the whole lyrics of The Disappearance of Hatsune Miku.

Seriously, do I have to say it?

This guy's OBSESSED. He's been listening to Vocaloid for years.

Maybe even before leaving Zou.

Everyone in the crew learned about Vocaloid thanks to him, so when he discovers you also enjoy it, he'll go so excited you'll get trouble understanding what he's saying. You'll see his eyes shining as he's speaking.

One day, on a karaoke session they decided to have not so long after you joined the crew, he started playing Ring no Shitensi.

"Oh, I know this one!"

And his sprakling eyes rapidly landed on you, his lips drawing a bright smile on his face.

He runs into you, not midning the music still playing as he holds your hands and starts talking to you so fast you can barely understand him.

You glanced nervously at Penguin and Shachi for a moment, and they just lifted their thumbs, telling you it was normal.

His favorite producers are definitely Mitchie M, Kinoshita and Livetune.

No matter how many redesigns Miku gets, he'll always prefer the first one.

He knows all the producers mentioned in Kagamine Let's Say the P Names. All of them.

He's one of those people who blast christmas music once it's October 1st, but instead of Mariah Carey it's just Snow Miku songs.

He has a space in his room dedicated exclusively to his lightstick collection, and he knows all existing choreographies from the concerts.

Obviously, in their karaoke sessions, he'll just sing Vocaloid (and Uta) songs.

He has dragged Penguin and Shachi with him, and the rest of the crew knows the lyrics of at least one song or two. Knowing about Vocaloid is inevitable when he's around.

When he discovers a new song Law might like, he eagerly shows him. Law always says he's not interested, but he ends up listening to it on repeat when he's alone.

And he's just as obsessed with UTAU as he is with Vocaloid.

Penguin & Shachi

I feel like instead of them reacting to you, you'd react to them.

Like, again, on a karaoke session, you'd see how they sing along with Bepo, and that just surprises you.

"I didn't know you guys liked Vocaloid!"

"You never asked" They said to you with a playful smirk.

They are glad you also enjoy the music, but don't mind as much as Bepo. Shachi would maybe express it better than Penguin.

Sometimes they join Bepo with the lightsticks, specially if he's playing classics as World is Mine or Luka Luka Night Fever. They ended up learning the movements from watching the bear.

Huge. Deco*27. Fans.

Also they enjoy a couple of Mitchie M and Neru songs, but leave the edgy ones to Law.

Would have a whole discussion over what Miku's voicebank is better on a daily basis.

"V4 pronunciation is way better, man"

"Yeah but it doesn't sound as robotic as V2. What's the point of Miku if she doesn't sound like a robot?"

Shachi's a Rin fan while Penguin prefers Len. Sometimes they tease each other like little kids over who's better, but at the end of the day they both enjoy the twins.

Not that much to say about these guys, just average fans.

Ikkaku

(so sad there aren't more GIFs where Ikkaku appears😭 but this one's fire anyways)

Short because she doesn't really care about Vocaloid that much.

She would be like "Oh that's cool" and continue what she was doing. She just doesn't care at all.

Definitely the most chilled listener among all of them.

V Flower and Gumi. That's it.

She doesn't listen to Vocaloid that often, just from time to time when she remembers they exist.

At first she was like "Wth are they doing..." whenever Bepo, Penguin and Shachi danced with the lightsticks, but now she's gotten used to it.

Has no problem listening to Bepo talk about Vocaloid for quite the long time.

But the bear made her hate Snow Miku songs. She wouldn't have if he didn't played them on repeat from October until the next one is released.

She actually enjoys some of the classics.

Len has a skateboard that has all sorts of stickers on it ranging from MLP G2 stickers from his sister to spiderman and undertale references!

Len forgets stuff easily, he isn't stupid just stuff slips his mind easily. So he carries a small pocket book to write stuff in if it's important!

He plays piano and guitar obvi but I totally see I'm sitting down after football season on the field after school and playing some melodies on an acoustic guitar with his homies.

1. Why do you like or dislike this character?

she is my daughter !! i rlly love the love she has to offer to the world !! and most importantly, i love her passion for basketball as well -- i rlly enjoyed how integral she was to the teams she was a manager to due to her data collecting, and how those analytical abilities made her a force to be reckoned with !! in conclusion, that's my girl !!

2. Favorite canon thing about this character?

ok i do feel like i answered that in the last question, so i'll add that im absolutely so endeared by the fact she nicknames many people :] honestly kagamin and midorin are amongst my fav nicknames from her... think kagami and midorima won there

7. What's something the fandom does when it comes to this character that you like?

i don't have too much experience with the fandom -- since i got into knb in mid 2022 and rlly have only interacted with a few ppl on tumblr and my friends -- but from what ive seen, i rlly love the amount of love ive seen !! most people ive seen like her a lot and support her !! even those in other fandoms (looking at my beloved a3! fandom the most) -- when momoi's on polls (ex. @/girlygirltournament, @/girls-in-love-bracket, @/pinkandbluebracket) there's always a lot of support for her !!

quick fun fandom thing -- i do want to say that in the pink&blue poll, an alliance was made with a3! fans because both a3! fans and knb fans were super supportive of each other and had a fun competition and ever since then... they have been brother in arms 2 me...

and of course my favorite is still @/pinkhairswagtourney where we arranged for muku (the a3! pink haired boy ever, i even have a little can badge of him) and momoi to tie and be a team together !! and then they won the whole tournament... being able to beat madoka :D and i like to think it is bc of our shared love for charas

i like to think she and takao will eventually become besties and have a very fun group with midorima and kise

i assume this question excludes ships you would have no real opinion on (so probably some pairs where they dont interact that much -- even tho i have shipped charas who have very little interactions it all depends on the vibes...)

anyways that makes it a tough question for me !! i personally do prefer aomine and momoi to be platonic, but like. i get it. theyre childhood friends who love each other a lot. inseparable... their bond is just very special to me...

okay well the pjsk au (Project Sekai Alternate Universe) is based off the mobile rhythm game Colorful Stage (Project Sekai)!! I'll try to simplify the game lore/whatever u call it..

PJSK CONTEXT:

Hastune Miku and the other original vocaloids (MEIKO, KAITO, Megurine Luka, Kagamine Len & Rin) are all established vocaloids in the real world, where the 20 in game 'ocs' are established.

There is this concept of Sekais; i describe it as a pocket dimension based on everyone's individual's soul/feelings. Pretty sure everyone has one of their own where it conceptualises a character's.. character.

But that isnt the main focus! The main focus of the game is the collective Sekais made by a group of characters! For example, Mafuyu, has created an 'empty sekai'; a pocket dimension -accessible through technology (mainly phones)- that is an empty ground sprinkled with a few boring abstract structures, etc. It is a sekai created by her strong feelings of emptiness specifically, but moreso that fits with the rest of the group she is in. The sekai can change some aspects during Mafuyu's self discovery with the help of her friends :3

Every group in the game consists of 4 members, all connected through music. Groups are: Leo/Need (School Sekai), More More Jump! (Stage Sekai), WonderlandsxShowtime (Wonderland Sekai), Vivid BAD Squad (Street Sekai) and Nightcord at 25:00 (Empty Sekai)

Anyway, every conjoined?? group sekai is greeted by a MIKUUU we love miku ily miku- Every Miku is different!! In the Empty Sekai, we see a very mellow, confused, empty Miku with a design that fits within the theme. This is also brought upon the other vocaloids! They all have different designs and personalities that are definitely supposed to mirror a different character in the group, however they may enter the sekai when events are made for a certain vocaloid to come and help a character/s :)

I guess you could say that each virtual singer has a main focus on a specific sekai? Luka is with Leo/Need, Rin is with MMJ, Len and MEIKO with VBSquad (fuck them for giving two vs and none to N25 grrrrrrrrrr) and yeah you could say Miku leads empty sekai but she kinda does the same with the other sekais

i mean i havent exactly figured out the whole au, but i did kinda want to make ninjago groups that are similar to the original ones? same vibe i guess!

Street Sekai (ninjago ver) is where Lloyd, Brad, Kai and Nya are grouped together as a team of vocals/dancers! in porject sekai, there are two pairs of characters that join up as one to beat an old street group as their main motivation. Lloyd and Brad, Kai and Nya are the pairs that join up as the current group ^w^

As for the virtual singers residing in the sekais, im thinking of just making some subcharacters in ninjago the vocaloids! Skylor is the placeholder for MEIKO :) i think they fit perfectly.. MEIKO in the street sekai has a coffee shop and Skylor would have a ramen shop... like cmon.. GRRR scrunches them all up..

as for the other groups.. idk but i def wanna make sally either an idol or in a school band.. but ugh.. darkleys school band.. but i want lloyd and brad to be in a street group.. the agony..

Sexuality Headcanon: Pansexual! I like to think that his crush on Micheala, the green haired girl Riliane wanted killed, was simply a spur of the moment thing since he was in a very bad state of mind at the time. (He just killed his father D:) I see him as pansexual since his whole thing is how loyal he can be.

Gender Headcanon: Just cis male. Boring, I know. But it makes sense when taking into account his twin sister.

A ship I have with said character: It's a crossover ship I used to ship as a crackship before it got. Out of hand. And then I shipped it genuinely!

A BROTP I have with said character: Kagamine Rin! Specifically the Rin from Ink's Yellow Orange Star! Allen and Rin have a playful back and forth relationship where Rin is often deadpan and Allen is snarky and sarcastic yet kind, but they both care for each other a lot. Allen helps Rin with her depression and they have a sort of sibling relationship.

A NOTP I have with said character: Riliane. Must I say more? (I'm usually okay with any ship, but incest is a no-go)

A random headcanon: He has a stitch-like scar on his neck from his execution, which is why he doesn't like wearing things around his neck! He stitched his head back onto his head with magic after death, and he can also take his head off at will! Though, that's a common headcanon, so here's another;

He's actually more like Riliane than he thinks he is. For example, when he's frustrated, he puffs his cheeks out like she does. Or how his strong charisma helps him get his way when debating with other people, since he tends to talk more than fight.

General Opinion over said character:

Allen used to be my all time favourite character at one point during the height of my Vocaloid/Evillious Chronicles phase. However, he recently resurfaced in my mind due to him casually showing up in Project Sekai and also due to me getting back into writing a fic series I've been writing since my first ever fic.

As I grow older, I think I understand his character a bit more.

He's a guy who's like the more collected, loyal and goodwilled type of guy until he decides to start spitting out snarky remarks. He's loyal to a fault, and believes the whole world is against him and his sister.

Well, time for my WonHobby Gallery 2022 Spring reactions and personal picks.  

FIRST OFF, THERE WERE STILL NO FIRE EMBLEM THREE HOUSES NENDOROIDS, SO I AM DISAPPOINTED ONCE AGAIN.  

I just ask for Claude and Dimitri.  I personally think Good Smile could make Nendoroids of the entire cast, of every house---just like they do for Haikyuu, Touken Ranbu, and Love Live---and I think they would all sell.  And yet still, NO ANNOUNCEMENTS.  I'M BEGINNING TO THINK THE FE3H FANDOM ISN'T LOUD ENOUGH TO MAKE THE DEMAND FOR FE3H NENDOROIDS, CLEAR TO GOOD SMILE.  ......I can't go 2 minutes on Twitter without seeing fanart of post time skip Dimitri, and Fire Emblem Warriors 3 Hopes has been premiering new trailers every Friday for the past several weeks, and yet, no word yet from Good Smile that they've gotten the message that they could make money from FE3H Nendoroids!  Uuuuuuggggggghhhhhh...  I can only hope that the still-unnannounced results of the last Next Nendoroid Survey actually got a lot of votes for FE3H, and maybe Good Smile has just been working with Intelligent Systems, behind the scenes, to finalize licensing and concept art.  ...I hope while groaning like a dying frog....ONCE AGAIN...

I saw Spy X Family Nendoroids coming, a mile away, and yet, my wallet still isn't ready.  I still haven't caught up on watching the anime (Crunchyroll crashes a lot; I'm beginning to think I should have stuck to reading the manga), to make sure I like the series enough to buy their Nendoroids.  So now I feel like I'm on the fence to buy all of them, or I'm seriously going to regret not buying all of them.  So, here's to hoping Anya gets A LOT of good alternate faceplates announced, to push me over the edge for definite preorders.  Although, I already really like the Forger family as characters, and that same reasoning was enough to get me to preorder 3 Jujutsu Kaisen Nendoroids, without even finishing that series (and I ended up kind of disliking/dropping that series as it went further).  So if I can't preorder all 3 Spy X Family Nendoroids, when I immediately preordered 3 Jujutsu Kaisen Nendoroids, after only 3(?) episodes, it feels kind of unfair to Spy X Family.  Besides, it could be really fun to play with the whole Forger family; they could have lots of really fun photoshoots.  ^_^  First thing I'm doing with them, is a nice family portrait!  ...I guess that means I'm preordering all 3 of them.  ^_^;  Sorry, wallet.  

30TH ANNIVERSARY KIRBY NENDOROID!?!?!?  Figures.  After years of resisting buying pink Kirby, a little while after my preorder of the pink Kirby finally get delivered, a 30th anniversary pink Kirby Nendoroid gets announced.  x_x;;;;;;;  But maybe I can resist the Kirb??????  His eyes seem a little more sparkley in the eyeshine and the magic wand is glittery now, but otherwise, seems the same as the pink Kirby that I just bought.  So unless later prototype photos show more interesting accessories and facial expressions, I might skip 30th anniversary Kiby.  I'LL FEEL BAD ABOUT IT, but my wallet is on life support as it it.  -_-;  

Nendoroid Rin Kagamine: Symphony 2022 Ver./Len Kagamine: Symphony 2022 Ver.  ...My first impulse was they they're pretty and I must buy, because the Kagamine twins are cute, and I've tended to favor collecting them, among the vocaloids.  They're just cute little babies and I love the gender flip.  But I need to save money.  That's why I didn't buy the Hatsune Miku version of these Symphony theme outfits.  And if I didn't get the Miku version, getting the Kagamine twins would already be an incomplete set.  It irks my completionist tick.  Plus, I need to save money.  I'll just keep telling myself that, to avoid preordering them...while trying to resist how PRETTY they are... o_o!  

Rilakkuma Nendoroid is cute.  I'm not especially a fan, so I'm not buying.  But it's cute that it exists.  ^_^  

Cookie Monster is a nostalgia favorite.  But more because I relate to endlessly eating cookies, not because I grew up with Sesame Street---because I didn't.  So I'm not interested in buying Nendoroid Cookie Monster.  But I wonder if I should tell my siblings about him.  My sister might be a little interested.  Maybe not interested in the expected ~$50 price, but she might be interested.  

There's another Nier Automata Nendoroid.  I still need to play that game.  Don't tell me spoilers.  The game is still on my shelf.  

Ramlethal got painted.  That's nice.  I still think Sol or Ky should have gotten Nendoroids first.  I would have bought them up IMMEDIATELY.  

Suprised to see XXXholic Nendoroids.  I didn't read/watch the series, but I used to be really into CLAMP manga.  Nice to see CLAMP series get figures, besides Cardcaptor Sakura.  I wish more CLAMP series would get Nendoroids.  I'd love X Nendoroids or Magic Knight Rayearth.  Some Clover Nendoroids would be freaking beautiful.  

Ermes got her painted prototype.  So many Jojo6 Nendoroids got announced all at once during the last WonFes (WonFes2022winter), that I'm actually kind of surprised that only 1 Jojo Stone Ocean Nendoroid was ready right now.  But I understand.  Good Smile sculptors have A LOT on their plate.  o_o;  

"Nendoroid Surprise (Tentative Name): Haikyu!! Nationals Arc" Still kind of confused by this new "Nendoroid Surprise" line.  They look like just smaller Nendoroids.  Isn't that just "Nendoroid Petite"?  They had a bit of articulation too.  Maybe these "Nendoroid Surprise" figures are slightly larger than "Nendoroid Petite"?????  I wonder why they made a new figure line.  Well, despite how much I love Hinata Shoyo, I need excuses to save money, and if this is essentially just like Nendoroid "New Karasuno version" Hinata Shoyo, which I already have, then I can't buy this "Nendoroid Surprise" Hinata Shoyo.

"Love After World Domination" Nendoroid Desumi Magahara. Oh noes!  Another series that I meant to watch, but haven't yet!  ;~;  What if it get to this series, and find I love this character, AFTER the preorder closes, then I'll have to hunt down her Nendoroids, with scalper prices or pray for a re-release....  Ugh.  It's such a hassel, when you fall behind on your anime backlog.  x_x;  Well, let's hope this'll be like Dr. Stone:  A series and characters I enjoy, but not enough to feel bad about not preordering their Nendoroids.  My wallet needs any excuse for a break, after all.

Well, there's Than's prototype.  Nice.  And Megara got a Nendoroid announced!  Yay!  People have been ASKING for that one!  I'm glad for them.  ^_^  

I'm glad the Fruits Basket Nendoroids got, not just prototypes premiered, but PAINTED prototypes revealed.  People have been asking for them too, and SO FORLORNLY!  ;~;  Fruba fans talk like they've lost all hope, when they comment about no progress shown yet.  I hope they cry tears of happiness now.  ^_^

"Nendoroid Doll Height Adjustment Set (Almond Milk/Peach/Cream/Cinnamon" I did not expect this.  O_o?  Interesting accessories though.  I initially thought this was to give variety in characters who are taller than other characters.  But looks like Good Smile is trying to expand into other scale sizes with this.  Interesting.  Good Smile is really flling in the void that VOLKS left, when VOLKS pulled back a lot of their more accessible stores.  It's so much easier to find Good Smile figures than VOLKS, unless you are into nich forums for ball joint doll collectors...at least, that's how I feel about BJDs.  It's easier for someone like me to order from Good Smile or find their stuff in other stores.  Good Smile is really horning in on the BJD market (adjacent).  O.o  

"Nendoroid More Hammock (Pink/Orange/Green)" Cute, but I have no room for, and of all the excessive things that could be cut from my spending, to alleviate my wallet, this would be one easy mark.  

"Nendoroid More Container: Cream Soda/Malibu" I'm glad they made these Nendoroid More Containers cute.  The previous versions were so unappealing.  Unless you were into some kind of Spartan, utilitarian, military aesthetic.  These are pastel, cute, covered with cute motifs, translucent for some lids,...It's just so much better, all the way around.  

"Nendoroid More Kigurumi Face Parts Case (Shark/Orca Whale)" This.  Is a cute idea!  *o*  But I've been cutting many Nendoroid More face cases from my budget, and I've already passed up so many cute versions.  Like, I wanted that minty dinosaur!  ;O;  But I had to sacrifice something for my wallet's survival.  ;_;  And these will probably be passed up, for the same reasons for me.  ;___;  Shark~shark~!  ;O;!!!!!!!!!!!  I love shark-sharks!  ;~;!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  

"Nendoroid More Puzzle Base" These are really cute.  I wonder if I coudl fit more into my display cases with bases like this.  But it has pegs that extend out, just as much as they have notches cut into them, so they probably wouldn't save space.  Not as much as the minimal bases with Nendoroid More Dress Up sets can save space.  (I recently swapped out a regular Nendoroid base with a Nendoroid More Dress Up set's base, and was able to fit 10 Nendoroids into a display case that normally could only hold 6-7 maxiumum.  O.o )  Still, these puzzle bases are a cute idea.  I like the pastel colors.  ^_^  

" Nendoroid Hatsune Miku 15th Anniversary Ver. ” This is so pretty, I couldn’t help staring at it for a while.  ^.^;  I love clearly themed motifs and archetype Mikus.  So even though I’m not like obsessed with strawberry shortcake or anything, I just really love how well this Miku design expresses “strawberry shortcake”.  ^u^  It’s just so pretty!  And I love desserts.  I probably shouldn’t spend my money on it though.  I’d love if they could do a similar Miku in lavender or blueberries.  She’s so pretty...!  *o*

Review: Nendoroid 806 Lev Haiba

Truth to be told, along with Kagamine Len Harvest Moon Ver. and Kagamine Rin Harvest Moon Ver. I also got Chris Redfield and Lev Haiba from the manga and anime “Haikyu!!” (below in an official photo). 

Lev still had the old Nendoroid standard package, with the mark Orange Rouge (remember it so you’ll avoid buying bootlegs!).

Its blister pack is filled with arms to make him as dynamic as possible, which is a rather good thing as it fits with him being a middle blocker among the volleyball players Nendo!

Same as Daichi Sawamura’s this Nendo’s base is not the standard base but a much larger one, a special base made in the image of a volleyball court.

All the “Haikyu!!” Nendo has this type of base, although each of them has the base covering a different bit of the volleyball court so that if you collect all the 6 members of the team (and maybe 6 members of another team) you can reproduce the whole court.

The brace is a much longer brace than the standard one...

...and also a very long smaller brace is included for the ball.

The result is this Nendo can elevate much higher than other Nendo, which again fits the fact he’s a middle blocker.

The cartoon inserted behind him in the box sadly has no background. It’s just a a single colour with written over his Nendo number. Pity.

Oh, and of course we’ve instructions in English and Japanese.

And now let’s look at him disassembled with all his spare parts!

We’ll start with the legs, which are less than Daichi Sawamura’s as, fundamentally, there’s just one more in addition to the standard 2 and it’s also worth to note how, differently from him, he’s not wearing knee wraps.

Arms now… which are A LOT!

While, technically they’re still 10 arm parts, same as Daichi Sawamura’s Daichi had some arms joined (for the crossed arms position and the receiving position) while Lev’s are all divided.

His arms can hold chopsticks of his favourite food as well as play volley. Of course the whip spike arm which is included as that’s his most notable ability will be hard to use on other Nendo due to its unique shape.

Now, body! 

Not much to say at a first glance on this one, it well reproduces the uniform Lev has when he plays but it’s nothing big. What’s noteworthy is how, same as Daichi, the peg that connect the lower part to the upper part isn’t a normal one but it’s actually an articulate one, which allow more movements in the waist area! Here, enjoy a better view of it!

Lev comes out as a quite dynamic Nendo which can make quite a lot of poses.

Faceplates!

They’re three and I love his smiling expression! It’s really cheerful!

Hair. 

Well, they reproduce well his hairstyle, although since he has an ordinary hairstyle they’re nothing special.

And now we move to talk about the accessories included, the first being obviously the volleyball with its own brace (which we’ve seen previously).

The second instead is his favorite food, a plate of inari sushi, which he can hold and eat with the chopsticks (he has an arm which comes with a hand holding chopsticks).

You can also remove the one on the top of the plate and just put it in his hand.

Now… poses.

None of the poses is hard to get.

It’s worth to mention if you preorder both him and Nendoroid Morisuke Yaku together you will receive a lower Body Part for Kicking Pose so they can perform the Yaku-san's Love Whip as a bonus.

Would anyone who’s not fan of the series, want to buy him?

Hum… what I said for Daichi more or less works for him as well. In fact if you’re interested in a volley player or, at least, you’re searching for someone in shirt and shorts, he’s not a bad choice. All his spare parts and the joint in his waist allows for interesting poses and this is good. I also like the inclusion of the arm with chopsticks and the food.

The long baseand the longer brace can be nice as well.

However… if that’s not your cup of tea he doesn’t offer much as everything in him revolves around the fact he’s a volley player and while he’s too is cute somehow he also didn’t impress me much (but this might be just me).

Again, it’s up on you, really.

this is a little bit silly but before i started collecting, my grail figure was the hmo miku nendoroid. and then i got her! she was my first order from japan and she's still one of my favourites. one of my other big favourites was the max factory nuclear fusion kagamine rin and then i got her too after waiting and watching for six or so months!!! and now my grail of all grails is myethos stardust but i doubt i'll ever get her because her aftermarket price is like ¥40,000. another one that's kind of a grail was megahouse arsene but he kinda got a rerelease that i might pick up bc ¥50,000+ aftermarket price... get out.

Brilliant taste anon! That Stardust figure is gorgeous, the whole composition and detail is incredible so I don't blame you for wanting it so bad. That Arsene is also amazing lmao I'm no surprised his aftermarket is so much, so I hope you can pick up his rerelease! I feel like figure companies need to do rereleases more often, especially if the original has an extremely high aftermarket or there are some criticisms at the moment.

But yeah, it's not silly to have a grail before you started collecting! my first ever official figure was the Jeff Andonuts Banpresto prize and that certainly would have been my holy grail if I wasn't gifted it shortly before it came out.
