I’m absolutely OBSESSED with the concept of “Glamrock DJ Music Man”.

Not only can he give like, the BEST hugs ever, and kids likely wouldn’t be as scared of him, and he can DRAW, But there’s also so many ways that DJ being this shape would drastically change the flow of my AU!

If DJ looked like this? He would no longer be confined to the Arcade. He would have the freedom to roam where ever he wants to like the others do. So when DA starts acting weird and eventually disappears? Instead of just sitting there and hoping for the best.. DJ would just straight up leave the Arcade and go check on him. In which Sunny would be able to explain what was going on in the safety of the Daycare.

DJ would have access to so much more information as well! When Freddy and the gang started acting weird and disappeared, DJ would be able to actually go and talk to them. In which he would find out that something is wrong with all of them. DJ being unable to leave the Arcade has greatly limited everyone’s flow of information, considering the “bug” didn’t effect DJ the same way it did the others.. He could have witnessed everyone's slow decline into malfunction with clear eyes. And probably could have stopped it. He could have even told Freddy and the others about their weird behavior once they were fixed. But alas, in cannon he just simply cant leave the Arcade. And thus couldn’t help any of his friends in their time of need.🥺

"Because I can hold them!" oh, how his heart had melted, your gentle hold on his fingers softening even the most battle-hungry of the Harbingers, and he'd thanked his lucky stars that he'd been blessed with someone like you. now his claws shiver from chill and fear as you stand before him, unable to meet your gaze as he's filled with shame. it's his fault he's like this- how could he be so careless? how could he become stuck in this form, it's as bad as throwing away your love because obviously no one can love an Abyssal monster like him, and Foul Legacy whimpers, hiding his hiccupping sobs behind his talons. delicate fingers wrap around said talons, pulling them carefully away from his face, and Childe looks up into your soft, worried eyes. with two hands you cradle one of his, gently massaging the back of his bruised knuckles, trying so hard to not let your tears of concern fall. "See...? I can still hold your hands..."

Lifeblood time!

Once again, the idea of lifeblood Markoth wouldn't leave me alone so I just HAD TO draw him. Tbh I'm pleased with the result. The lighting is a bit wacky as usual, incredibly sorry about that.

What would and wouldn't be affected by the lifeblood? I think that there would be slight changes in appearance, for example the dark vine growing around a limb or the butterfly plant blooming somewhere on the body. However, I don't think it'd affect anything about the person's personality. My argument is that we've seen lifeblood providing only perks, and so far we haven't discovered any cons. Come on, the Abyss Creature just wants to help, why would there be a catch?

With that said, I present another concept: my child finally has a voice

The lifeblood is now a part of them. It would whisper the thought they try to communicate. I don't know how else to explain it, but I think you get my point.

you see, for the parents of hawkins indiana it all started after will's kidnapping. with will's kidnapping, the plant leak ruining the crops of the local farms, the way the mall's been ever so slowly taking over the local mom & pops- it's shaken things up a bit. it's put the folks of hawkins on edge, has them doubting their neighbors, themselves. so, things have gotten a bit... stricter, there are rules. new ones, odd ones, different for every household but! the general consensus is that things need to change. ya know, for the children, their future. rules that the wheeler household now holds dear. the biggest one being?

"you're not going unless your sister's going."

and it wouldn't be such a big deal, it wouldn't have been last year, but this year? for the parents of hawkins it started with will. but for nancy? it started ever since barb's accident, ever since that party, ever since that breakup, both breakups- all she wants to do is save her brother from the same bullshit trauma that was her junior year. so when ted wheeler sets up these rules, they're a lot harder to get around. and dammit does mike want to get around them

he wants to get around them because there's this dance. the dance for him to make his move to get the girl of his dreams. he asks his mom for permission first but of course it's a quick muttered "ask your father," before karen goes back to gossiping with whichever nosy neighbor is on the phone this time before he makes his way over to the living room, and of course it's "you already know what i'm going to say," as ted flips the page of the newpaper he's pretending to read and, well. mike needs to convince his sister to go. she has to go

so what does he do?

he recruits the party and they set out on a mission. their mission? to ask the weird band nerd who totaled her car, chopped off all her hair, and crashed last year's prom to get his sister out of her sullen, quiet, lonely bubble of woe and to this year's dance

getting robin buckley to break through nancy wheeler's defenses, to be a teen, to just have fun can't be that hard... can it?
