Levi calms once more his eyes softening his hand takes yours off his cheek his fingers intertwine with yours. "You cry out of happiness not sadness?" He says and you nod. He leans downward his lips peppering all over your cheek tasting your tears of happiness on his tongue. His other hand loosening the clothes on your body "If you cry tears of joy then I don't mind making you cry." You giggle what he said just now was really bad but so Leviathan.

Finished wiping every last bit of your tears He goes in for more this time His lips on yours. Leviathan feels more bullish today as he takes more initiative than he usually does his hands exploring all over your body places He has always yearned to touch gentle hands feeling up and down your sides fingers toying with your chest. I love how you characterise Zhongli! I didn't realise earlier that ppl treat him to be like a western dragon when hes more of an eastern one. When you explained the differences in one post, it clicked for me on how Zhongli acts, which is fantastic cus Ive always been meh abt his character for quite some time.

Though a question: the game has depicted zhongli to be somewhat broke? I mean, cus he generously spends mora but its usually other ppls since he forgets he is no longer an archon. Heck i cant rmb which event but at one point when Zhongli actually treats the traveller and Paimon, Paimon comments abt "wow Zhongli is the one paying for once?". Going off canon material, it's not that he's broke, per se, but rather that he just forgets to bring his wallet with him on outings. Plus, he's part of the bourgeois tier of society (middle class, wealthy, but not royalty-level filthy rich; but still elite and way above the working class). This was mentioned in a line in the Liyue AQ.

Canon text has never actually stated (or even implied) that he's broke or doesn't have money, that's just a popular fanon meme.

If one wants to argue that his 2022 birthday art implies he's broke, I'd still disagree. His dialogue there just says that having a wallet makes him more mindful of when to spend and how much, not that he doesn't have Mora in the first place.

And yeah, when Paimon comments on him finally paying, that's just because he remembered to bring his wallet :) every other occasion, as I stated before, is just that he didn't bring his wallet, relying freely on others to do the paying.

Besides, he made the Mora. I think he has every right to consider even other people's money as his own, lol- but I digress.

If I may slot in a personal headcanon here: I reckon that, as the God of Wealth, he just naturally attracts money to use for himself in any circumstance, be it through his own money, Hu Tao, Childe, the Traveler, etc. He will never be left wanting for Mora as he will always be able to pay for the things he likes, or straight up finesse his way into getting stuff without needing to pay (like the part with the painted Rex Lapis fans).

You had devised your escape plan from the clutches of Donquixote Doflamingo, believing it to be foolproof. Weeks of relentless effort had been poured into sharpening  a minuscule shard of sea prism stone, honing it to a razor's edge. In the dead of night, while Doflamingo slept, his strings binding you to the bed right beside him, you began sawing through the tough restraints with your treasured shard.

As you regained the use of your limbs, you inched your way toward the slumbering blonde, heart pounding with a mixture of fear and determination. With a quick, calculated movement, you drove the shard deep into his chest, holding your breath to stifle any sound. Your heart raced as you bolted away from him, fleeing as far and fast as your legs could carry you.

In your eyes, the plan was flawless. The sea prism shard would nullify his devil fruit's powers, rendering him defenseless and too weakened to give chase. But oh, how cruelly naive you had been. You didn't make it far before the telltale sensation of Doflamingo's viscous strings coiled tightly around your throat. In an instant, your air supply was cut off, your vision clouded, and the world faded to darkness.

You gradually regained consciousness, your surroundings coming into focus as you blinked away the haze. The disheartening truth was undeniable; you were back in Doflamingo's bedroom, ensnared in his clutches. Your hands and feet were cruelly bound to the bedposts, leaving you utterly defenseless. Disorientation and fear clouded your thoughts.

Doflamingo, the sadistic puppet master himself, lounged in a chair nearby, legs casually spread apart. The wound you'd inflicted on his chest remained untreated, seeping with crimson life essence that painted a morbid tapestry across his abdomen. 

"Fufufufu, look who's finally decided to rejoin the living," he taunted with a malicious grin.

The stark realization of your failed plan set your heart pounding relentlessly. Tears welled in your eyes, and you felt the beginnings of panic swell within you.

Doflamingo's laughter mocked your despair. "You know, I have to admit, that was quite the creative plan you hatched," he continued, his sinister delight in your agony palpable. He extended his puppeteer strings to encircle your head, forcing you to meet his sinister gaze. "That scheme might have had a chance to succeed... against anyone but me." His fingers tightened around the sea prism stone shard before extracting it from his chest, the gleaming relic of your failed attempt. Blood gushed more profusely from the grievous wound, painting the shard in a scarlet hue. "Where did you get this, my dear?" he inquired, his tone deceptive in its casual cruelty.

Overwhelmed by terror, you stammered out your answer, voice quivering with desperation. "I found it on the street! A marine was wielding a weapon coated with sea prism stone, and a piece chipped off, so I... I took it!" Each word felt like a desperate plea to loosen his stranglehold on your body.

His laughter echoed through the room, a haunting noise in response to your futile struggle. "You're smarter than you appear," he commented, setting the shard aside before using his threads to forcefully draw you toward him. Your body knelt between his outstretched legs, vulnerable and at his mercy. "However, your audacity has consequences." He reached out to your face, his fingers tracing your skin with an eerie tenderness. "I could punish you severely for this act... condemn you to perpetual darkness, deprive you of sustenance, sell you into servitude to the wretched and abandon you to decay..." His hand paused in its exploration. "But you've treated me well. I've grown rather fond of you, wouldn't you agree?"

Your voice trembled with fear and pain, words stumbling from your lips. "Yes... I just want to treat you well," you whispered, tears and blood mixing in a gruesome display as they dripped onto the floor. Submission was your only option, the torment too much to bear.

"Good," he declared, an evil glint in his eyes. "You can begin by cleaning up the mess you've created." He motioned to the wound on his chest, your confusion now apparent.

Doflamingo yanked on the strings again, forcing you to lurch forward until your face hovered dangerously close to the wound. "Clean it," he ordered, a command that left no room for refusal. You reluctantly understand his demand, leaning closer to the source of your torment. Your mouth opens, and your tongue timidly grazes the edge of the cut, the taste of metallic blood overpowering your senses. You trace the contours of the wound, the sickening flavor and texture nearly making you retch.

An involuntary cough escapes you as you swallow the blood, your body shivering from the overwhelming emotions. After what feels like an eternity, Doflamingo releases you, using his threads to neatly stitch up his wound. He raises your head, his gaze locking onto your soul. With a cruel grin, he leans in closer.

"You won't dare to act so foolishly again, will you?" he demands, his icy eyes drilling into yours. You respond with a frantic shake of your head, desperation evident in your eyes. He seems satisfied with your answer, a cruel chuckle escaping him. "Good girl... that's the response I wanted."

Before you can react, he closes the gap between your lips and his in a forceful, open-mouthed kiss. His tongue invades your mouth, a familiar intrusion that you've grown numb to. He moans, savoring the sensations and flavors. When he breaks the kiss, a string of saliva lingers, a vile reminder of your powerlessness.

"You'll need to do much more to make it up to me," he states ominously, your heart sinking at the promise of what awaits you.

i’m also super happy that i was right about my thoughts on the table, too! i didn’t wanna voice it since i thought i’d rambled on too much already HAHAHA! but on that! i like how the table was done slightly different— blade asks reader for help (as kindly as he can, even if he voices it more like a demand than a question). the cabinet door really was the start of his healing process 🥹! he fixed that himself with reader simply observing him.

but when he finally voices the need for assistance, it was like, okay, i do need help. and yours isn’t so bad, after all.

you can really see the way trust starts to build between them both. it’s so so heartwarming 😭

you can only do so much for someone, but it’s ultimately up to them to decide what to do with the care and help you extend to them. like i keep saying— you captured that fact so so beautifully!

i also can’t help but think how it’s so fitting for him lore wise; how he used to be a weaponsmith/craftsman :’))) so it makes a lot of sense for him to have a history with craftsmanship !

and on the topic of fitting! you translated the mara really well! i think the self-destructiveness of drugs and alcohol is as realistic as you can get in a modern-au. especially because once you really get in the shitter, it’s hard to get out of it. addiction is a serious problem.

you conveyed blade’s softness so so well, it really made me go, yes, this is why i love blade so much 🥹! you truly get it!! get him!! he’s for sure very rough around the edges, but he can truly be so sweet 😭!! even if he’s much more subtle about it.

and ahhh the kiss. the most precious little kiss 😭! i found it super appropriate too! it’s definitely more genuine than anything a kiss on the lips would have conveyed given their context. it’s such an innocent action, to be kissed on the forehead. it felt borderline apologetic. yes, it was a thank you, but it also felt like he was saying sorry 🥹! he truly can be so soft and considerate when he wants to be!! and reader finally getting to experience that side of him was so heartwarming

he’s still very much guarded. you don’t just get over someone like that, that’s a given. you don’t just get over alcoholism and drug addiction overnight.

but it’s a start, and that’s enough. he’ll get better. he just needed that little nudge in the right direction. a little reassurance of someone being there.

the final few parts of that chapter felt so rewarding reading it. AAAAAAAAAAA!!1!11!1!!1 IM SOBBING. this might just take the cake for my favourite modern fic i’m not even shitting you rn 😭

Idk how to explain it there was something so nice about writing Blade taking initiative like this after being so meh to the Reader. Especially just how much he took the initiative. He didn't take one look at it and gave up because there's no fixing that furniture, no, he took all these steps of going to the basement, collecting things he needed, eventually asking(or demanding lol) Reader for help, and he did it all one step at a time.

Idk it felt so much more rewarding writing this scene like this than having him go "here's everything I need, done, bye" 🙈

Yes, yes! Given his canon past I knew I wanted him to be crafty in this fic and since I knew I wanted to go with the cleaning idea from the beginning, the idea to use furniture to represent hist craftsmanship + mental state was almost an instant given then 🤭

I'm glad you think the substance abuse as a substitute for Mara in this AU was believable 🥹

Blade is in canon often misunderstood. When that car scene with him and Firefly got released, a lot of people were surprised how nice Blade was in it. Even though he's always been like that, it's just that he mostly showed up on screen when the Mara struck and he wasn't himself T_T

I really tried my best to build trust between Blade and the Reader slowly. I also knew from the beginning that I didn't want this to end with a super happy ending but more with a promise. That they took a step in the right direction, Blade did his first step, Reader is there to support him(and he knows that now), and with a lot of time there will be a happy ending eventually 🥹

I had so much fun with this fic 🥹 I must also say that it's rare that I had this much motivation and drive to sit down and write a fic. I wrote and edited those 14k words so fast 😂🙈

I was also concerned about Prowl, in the way I was wondering which interpretation of the character they were going to lean in, found him likeable enough, not a fave but I didn't hate him so there's that.

The thick round lines and simple blush and highlights works so well. God they look SO precious!!! And Hika's colour choices are fantastic.

I love the blue~ish tones Hika used for Kuroha's hair and how Hika used yellow and blue for the backgrounds to make the colours pop.

The dark blue BG works well against Ene's more muted blue hair. And I love the ice blue colour Hika chose for Ene's eyes ahhh…

Commission Rambles

KuroEne have some official art refs (official art, merch arts) that can be inconsistent in colours (ex. their headphones) so I also gave some notes and quick edits of official arts.

I sent these arts of Kuroha and Ene as my main refs 🖤💙

I sent more too, but I felt that since I'm commissioning chibis of them, that these arts simplify their designs nicely.

I did a little edit of their concept arts for fun. I mainly did it to get a clearer full body ref of Saeru to make it easier for the artists I'm commissioning

My main focus is on 9/6 and XX/6, basically all related ships (KuroEne, HaruTaka, KonoEne)

Depending on the arts (including merch arts), Kuroha's clothes either get coloured with the same black colour, or with the inner clothes as a darker black.

I prefer when his inner clothes and boots, etc., are a darker black cuz it has more visual contrast against his design. It also differentiates the clothes more to have the outer shirt be a lighter gray black vs. the darker blacks in his hair and inner clothes.

His entire design is in dark colours (black, gray), and the gold in his eyes and facial markings cuts away from that. Yellow is a bright vivid colour.

Though it makes sense in MVs like Outer Science and some official arts/merch why his outer and inner shirts are the same colour to not distract from the mood/atmosphere, and also in pieces/merch that use a limited colour palette

For the FIRST time, I finally get to see that Kuroha art in full and not in crusty quality for once. It's a happy day for me

She is TINY compared to them... Haruka/Konoha/Kuroha is 182 cm (6'0") and Ene is 157 cm (5'2") or 640 px tall... Portable gf. They could put her in their pocket

Interesting that Ene's thigh highs were originally asymmetrical in the concept arts. The finalized design definitely fits her more.

Simplifying Ene's headphones is completely fine with me cuz of the rectangular part on it...

Commissions

Whenever I commission artists, I send a detailed description of the characters' relevant design details, poses and expressions, etc., in the form itself.

Then I attach all necessary art refs in a Google Drive Folder and then send the link to the artist.

Because I know that sending a lot of art refs and a detailed description, just makes things easier for the artists you're commissioning.

VGen Rambles

VGen's site layout and format are honestly better than Ko-fi's imo

VGen has a REALLY nice UI for commissioning artists... I prefer it over Ko-fi when it comes to commissioning artists.

It shows all your commission requests in an organized format, and it has a really good commission request form, where the artist can send invoices.

VGen lets you upload more files and links as art refs. It's better than Ko-fi's in that it allows you to upload more files and add links. Iirc, I think Ko-fi's has a limit of 5

The artists can DM with their clients on VGen directly, and also leave files in high quality directly on the commission form after completion

There's also a review section, typically the artist leaves a review for the client and the client can give one. I always leave a message for the artist after the commission is done to show my gratitude 🥰

Evan rolls his eyes harder, “It was my idea.” “Shh.” “Don't fucking shush me, fuckface.” “Shhh.” “You–” Evan grunts as he grapples with Barty for the lighter, trying to snatch it away. “Ev,” Barty half-squeals when Evan bends his wrist at an unnatural angle to pry the green little thing from between his clammy fingers. Charlie's nightmare in the last part was so intense, I cant wait to see the moment it sinks in for the poor guy that he's finally safe. Tikki has been so kind and understanding to him despite going through a lot herself and just aaaaa my heart ;u; Sorry to be a bother, I've just really been enjoying it so far. I rarely ever leave Ao3 for reading, but Charlie reminds me of a comfort character of mine so I'm glad I gave the story a chance! Now I want to see them heal from their respective traumas together!

Omigosh anon pls you are not a bother, you have no idea how happy it makes me to see someone enjoying our story!! Especially when its ocs, it kind of feels like posting into the void sometimes. TwT; That's part of why I make illustrations for it, in hopes I can catch a few eyes. (The other part is that I wanna make em because these characters are fun to draw XD and there's some future parts of the story in particular that I REALLY wanna draw)

But to answer your question, Mystic and I have a lot more written, and I plan to post more chapters soon, once I can get illustrations made! This month has just been A Lot since i'm trying to work on art fight revenges (i have a handful sketched but still need to ink and color), finish the monthly secret drawing for my patreon, and was out of town for my dad's funeral for part of it. Not to mention I've still been searching and applying for work, oof... I've been a bit scrambled to say the least .w.

To celebrate, here's an idea I had been cooking up.

You remember the diuretics post someone posted a story about, with Ford putting them in Stan's food/drink so he'd pee himself?

They're docked in some port town or whatever, and are gonna have dinner on land, both are tired of fish after all, and while eating at the restaurant Ford slips some diuretics into Stan's drink using the sleight of hand he's honed over the years.

However, someone bumps the table and Stans has to catch both drinks, accidentally switching them.

Ford, that might, has to piss like there's no tomorrow constantly running to the bathroom, whereas Stan is like....huh, that's weird I can actually hold my bladder today.

Now, he's not the smartest man in the room, but he's not stupid and figured out hella quick Fords been doing something to his drinks, and finds every opportunity to switch their cups/bowls/food when he can. Ford is a great sleight of hand but no one is better than Stan. He's has ages of practice after all.

So finally, Ford can't make it to the bathroom one day, and pisses himself. Stan, who's been dry as a bone for a week now smirks, following him to the bedroom and leaning into the doorway.

"Weak old man bladder huh?"

Ford, embarrassed, says. "Shush, I must have caught something. Surely this will pass."

Stan, who by now, has found the baggie of crushed diuretics, holds it up. "Oh, and it wouldn't have a thing to do with this, right?"

Ford stammers, red faced and red handed. Fuck, Stan's gotta hate him now, he just wanted his baby brother and now it's all over.

"You know, if you wanted me in diapers so damn bad, you could've just talked to me."

"Wait, what?"

"Well, yeah, we're both into piss, don't see why you couldn't just talk to me about this. Come here Poindexter, I'm not mad but you gotta be punished for makin' me piss myself unwillingly for like a month."

Ford's punishment is to wear the little bee diapers for the night, while Stan gets to use them, slipping his dick into the leg holes or back and pissing in them when he feels like it so all day and night Ford is constantly wet and warm and feeling so gooey on the inside.

Poor thing isn't allowed to cum though, not until Stan's sure he's learned his lesson on asking for the things he wants.

(ok I lied I DO KNOW why yellow, because it was the colour of my favourite plushie when I was a baby kiddo. As a toddler I just decided that yellow is my fave colour for forever I guess. purple developed into a second favourite a bit later, but I do not have an origin story for that one. that colour just tickles my brain.)

Last book I finished: Hell Followed with Us by Andrew Joseph White! it was really cool and I enjoyed the horror aspects and the vibes. (Also I can't even begin to put into words how much it matters to me that I can finally nowadays read MULTIPLE different books with transmasc MAIN CHARACTERS. truly blows my mind. happy to see it.)

It was a nice breather while I had a break from reading Dracula by Bram Stoker but uhh... then I never got back to dracula after and just started reading Somewhere Beyond the Sea by TJ Klune. :')) to be fair I've been waiting for this one a while now. (though my reading has been on a break for a while. idk my brain just doesn't let me read currently but I'll get back to it at some point again! I probably won't be able to finish the books I'm currently in the middle of before the year ends but that's alright!)

Last TV show I watched: uh... Beast Wars: Transformers... (me n my friend have been on a transformers kick. their old hyperfixation is stirring once more and I am so glad to be along for the ride :3 )

Sweet/Spicy/Savory: I??? don't know??? I like sweet things?? but savoury is delish too??

Last thing I googled: Pancake recipe (I wana make a pancake to keep me and my brain busy and get a sweet treat while I'm at it)

Current obsession(s): UHHHH the strongest currently is probably Great God Grove since it FINALLY came out and I love love love that game so much it was definitely worth the wait!!! <3<3<3<3<3 also obviously Batman since it's the latest long lasting hyperfixation I've had in a WHILE. and the best thing is that there's.. A LOT of batman media I still haven't taken a look at or read or played etc. so never stop the madness or however that one meme goes.

(I also reblog a lot of stuff of all my other interests since like.. my adhd brain, yes gets hyperfixated on one specific thing for periods of time, but once the fixation period chills out the enjoyment doesn't fade. so like... Psychonauts, Pacific Rim, Mp100, Lupin the third, tf2, and SO MANY OTHER THINGS my beloveds. my blog is a mess of stuff I enjoy, but I try to tag everything so if someone gets sick of seeing a specific thing they can blacklist it!)

Looking forward to: I think winter get together/ christmas actually??? cant wait to spend a chill and calm and not stressful xmas with my friends,, not everyone in the group celebrates christmas so idk what I should call it but. its our little winter celebration thing. and the people there are very dear to me.
