the aphmau, specifically minecraft diaries, brainrot has hit pretty bad again after like 8 years.

and you wanna know what my roman empire about MCD is? the fact that aaron had a wife and son. i think about that ALL OF THE TIME!

i can imagine him being serious/stoic as lord of a village (similarly to how he was in the beginning s2 of MCD), but actually tender and loving in private with his family. we saw glimpses of this side of him in his interactions with Aphmau and baby Lilith (& im sobbing at aph and aaron naming the baby after his wife Lily UGHHH), but can you imagine this gentle nature of his in full bloom? aaron said the first time he talked to his wife, he brought up the lily flower to her because of her name. aaron, the strong quiet loner, being young and shy about the girl he liked sounds so bizarre, yet so soft and sweet. can you imagine the fact that aaron had a wedding, and that was the probably the happiest night of his life? well, that was the happiest day until his son was born. aaron likely spent so many mornings adoring his baby boy. he said although he was afraid of disappointing his village, the one thing that kept him going was that he would never disappoint his son. imagine the quiet nights between him, his wife, and son, and how he wished for many more nights like those. he probably had so many grand plans for the village he was gonna raise his beautiful family in. he saw a bright future ahead, and it was all stolen away in an instant.

i do have my reservations about MCD aaron/aarmau, but he really was a compelling character. we knew he had a sad past, but thinking about these small details adds to the tragedy of his life and his sacrifice, making it that much more important.

Did anyone else find it really weird how Jess infantilized her self-insert? Aphmau was childish to an almost cartoonish extent.

This is not to dunk on Aph's character, just my curiosity.

Looking back on it, some of Sylvannah's treatment of her daughter was hella icky. She didn't teach Aph how to swim, instead breeding fear for water, and still acted like Aph was a teen when she was in her 30s, among other things.

And listen, I understand Aaron is far from a fan-favorite (on tumblr, at least) but the way Sylvannah treated him was also weird. You mean to tell me that this grown woman started hating this teenager because he made a Beyonce joke and proceeded to hold that grudge for the next decade?!

Hey gamers, I kinda lost interest in these designs for a while but found it in me to sketch out a final 3 characters: Ein, Aaron, and Lucinda

I may be open to draw other Minecraft YouTubers as WoF characters if anyone has any suggestions, can’t make any promises tho cause college has been kicking me in the rear.

Tbh Ein and Aaron are 2 of my least favorite characters in mystreet, I didnt like the direction they took Ein’s character in the final season and Aaron just all around as always felt poorly written to me.. Lucinda is perfect tho ❤️

I made Aaron an animus mind reader nightwing because it really fits the whole secret ultra alpha ultima werewolf thing and he’s a nightwing prince too because he’s the main character

Lucinda is a silkwing with an animus enchanted staff so she can have her magical abilities still. I’ve never really been a fan of the color orange but I think she pulls it off really well.

Ein is a Icewing/Nightwing hybrid with no special powers but tear drop scales anyways (kinda like Fatespeaker’s). I think in my little AU storyline he would go after Aaron and make him give him real powers. I also gave him a gold tooth cause I thought it looked cool. Can’t believe I gave one of my least favorite characters my favorite design 😔

Mystreet’s season six ending makes me so sad for Aaron because both his physical and mental state were left in such a horrible position by the time he was able to come back home.

He’s blind, is literally covered head to toe with bruises and scars, and is so weak to the point of being escorted home by Melissa in a wheelchair with no signs that he can actually stand on his own.

But I think the worse part is what is implied when he calls out for Shu, doesn’t know Aphmau, and can hardly recall Melissa.

THAT is the saddest part, because he realized Aphmau was Shu his senior year of high school, meaning that his mental state is somewhere in his teen years if his mind was wiped out that much.

SO MUCH of his life has to be rebuilt now and I just think it’s so sad :((

People thinks he’s smart, but it’s just because he’s really quiet

He’s actually really fucking dumb /affectionate

Has a very weezy laugh

(Considering having him FTM He/Him but I can’t decide)

Didn’t really know much about gender and sexuality and stuff instill his sister came out as lesbian and she gave him a crash course

Used to struggle with internalized homophobia thanks to her dad being an ass but is now very comfortable in his own skin

Love language is physical touch and is chronically touch deprived, especially due to their years of isolation (just like me fr)

Intimidating when you first meet him, but I can guarantee you he’s secretly shitting his pants out of fear

Is such a worry wart, especially towards Zane and Aphmau

Used to have consistent nightmares, but ever since sharing a bed with Zane and Aphmau, they’ve pretty much stopped

On top of physical touch, he likes to do small acts of service

If either of his partners have a nightmare, she holds them through it and wakes up early the next day so that way they wake up to hot cocoa with cinnamon and a splash of vanilla extract

His favorite food is anything with Cinnamon!

Aphmau

Acts like a cinnamon roll, will actually kill you

She/Her but prefers masculine descriptors i.e. sir, Mr, boyfriend (looks pointedly at her being called the lord of phoenix drop rather than the lady)

This is super evident in MCD and it peaks through in Mystreet as well! So that definitely stays

Has a tendency to give too much and burn herself out

Due to growing up poor she has a tendency to stock up on non perishable food and stress if they don’t have enough

Definitely had a crush on Katelyn when they were younger, it passed with time though

Is really smart common sense wise, really into logic puzzles and stuff

Was raised with ye old fashioned toxic masculinity drilled into his head by Garte leaving him really insecure about his gender and gender expression

Around college, he started coming more into his own and wearing makeup out and about (all of this up to now is p much cannon btw)

The divergence come when he also starts experimenting in other ways to like sometimes wearing skirts and the occasional dress

It still takes years for them to stop bringing an extra pair of more masculine clothes with him in case he gets too stressed or sees someone in public

While he really loves the colors pastel pink and purple, he still mainly wears black with those as accents

Has a backpack/bag they take EVERYWHERE

I think Mystreet S4 could have been inherently funnier if instead of Ein controlled or not having a weird thing for Aphmau if he was just obsessed with Aaron-

Like- imagine being Michi trying to flirt with Ein while he’s obsessing over this stupid dumb strong wolf man.

They could have Batman and joker type shit- but LEGO Batman and joker- I think I would have loved s4 so much more if he was just wildly obsessed with that man.
