When Emma goes into the past and changes the timeline, Past Hook is immediately taken with her when the author trapped them in the storybook as was AU HOOK, so it makes you wonder what was going through Hook’s Mind the Moment he saw her for the first time in season two.

One of the things that I loved about Killian,

was how passionate he loved. His story begins with him literally trying to avenge his lover, and eventually wanting to avenge her son, and even his own brother. It was pretty clear that if Killian cared about someone, he would go to the ends of the earth for that someone. He eventually even died for that someone and for the people of Storybrooke.

And you see it with Emma, at the very beginning of Season 3. The moment he starts to feel for things for Emma, are the moments he starts to change, because he finally gives him something to live for again, except it isn't revenge, but hope.
