Neither of them are really into PDA, but in private, Malleus is more physically clingy. He's like a cat. He wants to be a part of whatever Violetta is doing. At least he's learned not to just pick her up whenever he wants; she needs a little warning first. One scenario I imagine for them is that they're the kind of couple to sit up late in bed just talking, either leaning on each other or being spoons until they fall asleep.

They're both very handy with words, so their love letters are long and flowery. Verbal affection comes more easily to Violetta.

Who's the stricter parent?

Honestly? Violetta. In the timeline where they do have a child, little Mallorea is her father's precious little princess who can do no wrong whatsoever. Violetta is the one who has to remind the little one to mind her manners. Eventually, Malleus will get used to the idea that he has to sometimes be strict with his daughter, especially as Mallorea grows and has to learn more about being royalty.

For what it's worth, Violetta's strictness is quite gentle. They both get the chance to be the "nice" parent.

This is Mellow!

I rescued him and his brother Clyde last year in September. I was originally going to keep Clyde but Mellow won our hearts. He was very scared in the beginning and was hiding all the time. Slowly but surely he began to open up and when he finally made himself at home we knew that he was here to stay. It was so heartwarming to see how this scared and shy baby slowly gained our trust and today he is the king of flopping! He isn't as hyper as his brother as he is more of a calm soul, that's why he was named Mellow. He is neutered and lives together with Winnie. They love each other so much and always groom each other. Ever since moving together they have both gotten very affectionate towards us humans too.

This is Winnie!

She is the only one who wasn't rescued from euthanasia. Winnie was a bit neglected though, as she lived together with her mother in a stall together with no hut or hiding spaces or no toys or anything really. She used to be the most shy/scared of all of my rabbits as she was very passive and kept hiding. Ever since moving together with Mellow, she has blossomed! Today she is outgoing, even less scared than Mellow and very social to both humans and her boyfriend. She is constantly craving kisses from Mellow and also appreciates being petted.

This is Glitter!

Glitter was already named Glitter when I got her. She came from a well loved and well cared for home but unfortunally one of the humans in her household unexpectedly developed allergy so she had to find a new home ASAP or she was in risk of euthanasia.

She reminds me so much of my childhood bunny, so naturally I have a very weak spot for this gal. Glitter also has so much personality and is teaching me so much about bunnies. She is very active and likes to run around in circles, she loves getting pets and is always up to some shenanigans.

Glitter used to live with Gråis.

He was named Gråis already when I rescued him and Courage last year.

Good news!

The rabbit lives

Bane the Destroyer has arthritis and cataracts and possibly testicular cancer so. Not great. But surprisingly good for a bunny his age.

We're moving into palliative care, gonna switch him to a higher calorie senior bunny food, hand-feed him herbivore critical care once a day, and he's getting painkillers for the arthritis/possible other conditions

So he's on his way to the end, but we're gonna try to keep him as fat and happy as possible in the meantime
