I really like how Donnie and Mikey having the shortest mask tails makes so much sense in regard to them being an inventor and an artist/cook respectively. If their mask tails were longer, it could be dangerous and/or get in the way of what they were trying to do.

Meanwhile Raph is large enough that his longer mask tails wouldn’t be easily used against him in fighting or sparring, plus the longer tails definitely make for a more standard hero/ninja look which would make him lean into it more.

Leo likes long mask tails because he can flip them.

Sorry to bring up drama but I feel like this is entering criminal territory and should be addressed. Apparently someone dug out birth certificates of the vessels and wanted to arrange for someone to stalk them and also found out personal information and contacts from not only the members but also their families and partners. And apparently they have intimate pictures they threatened to post. That is so fucked up on so many levels. There are real human beings behind those masks and personas for fucks sake. This goes beyond just posting their names and/or faces and I'm actually at a loss for words tbh...

and also because its funny here are some of the times the cup has been held near or above water both salt, fresh and chlorine alike since oceangate in no particular order

and i just think its very clear when oceangate happened because now everyones holding the cup high above the water/near bodies of water and not letting it get dunked

the mystery of the sleeping arrangements in kiryu's hotel room have been making me insane since IW dropped, so

in eng sub kiryu says they'll play jan ken for the floor, but in jp he specifically says that they'll use it to decide who gets the bed (誰がベッドを使うかは後でジャンケンだ)

initially my assumption was that they just inexplicably did not consider the couches sleepworthy enough and were choosing to crash on the floor instead, but this seems to not be the case, just more of the usual bafflingly pointless localization choices.

and then chitose joins up with them, and since there are only 2 couches, it either means somebody actually is sleeping on the floor, or they've got to share the bed

we don't see where ichi was sleeping, but it seems like both couches are empty, and tomi is walking over from behind the couch, from the direction of the little alcove where the bed is. assuming chitose did actually stay the night, that'd mean she and ichi took the couches, while tomi and kiryu shared the bed

...but the wonky localization coupled with all of this implies that their sleeping arrangement looks like

dp headcanon that one of danny's powers that he has (whether yet to be unlocked or just undiscovered) is the ability to open portals to and from the ghost zone bc he died when one opened right on top of him. its arguably his most op power bc no ghost has that kinda power, they rely on other objects to do that for them and even those objects are highly sought after and coveted.

my biggest draw to this outside the allure of convenience is just how fkn funny it'd be bc my boy danny is ALWAYS looking for shortcuts. the gz will be filled w danny's miscellaneous crap he put there so he'd have quick access to it, to the point where he can and will lose things either because he forgot where in the gz he put it or a ghost'll be like 'oooo neat! free things!' and nab it bc its unguarded lol

not to even mention when danny just gets tired of fighting he could just open a portal and launch the ghost through and close it. best case scenario the ghost'll give up the fight, worst case danny gets a 20 minutes break while the ghost has to fly all way to his parents' portal then back to where he is. repeat this until danny wears them out or he catches them off guard by them expecting another portal but surprise!! soup time!!! :D

also it helps w aus where danny isn't perma stationed in amity bc oh nice my son can go live w new family elsewhere,,,

So attached at the hip that they shower together every single day and then Peeta has to go to work early one morning and hurried up and goes and Katniss is super mad when he comes home later that night because he showered without her

loveee the idea of them showering together BUT bakers working hours are (generally speaking) crazy in the sense that they’ve probably got to be up at like 3/4am in order to get their first batches of goods for the day prepared, and i just do not think that miss katniss is going to follow that schedule no matter how much she loves him.

now, maybe once the bakery has been up and running for a good few years peeta would be able to delegate those early morning shifts out amongst staff - but until then, he wakes katniss up before he leaves their bed to give her a quick kiss and then goes to get showered and dressed alone while she snuggles back down to sleep.

if he did manage to pass off the early shift then i can totally see a morning shower together become a part of their routine. maybe they’d have a bench or something so he can sit down sometimes because of his leg, and she likes to stand and wash his curls.

however, even if he does have to leave the house too early to shower with her then he’ll make up for it whenever he gets home. ideally, they’ll both return home from the woods and the bakery in the afternoon, meeting each other on the porch of their house. they share a glance and then disappear upstairs together, laughing at their shared eagerness to get cleaned up and into their comfy house clothes.

okay, so i believe it's time to talk about what kind of powers misao possesses. let me start off by saying that she is by no means invincible and/or invulnerable: so, she can be defeated in combat, of course. i just wanted to affirm that with y'all because she does have an enhanced healing factor. but unlike a regenerative healing factor, which heals a lot of things pretty much automatically, it does still take a good amount of time for her to heal. i'd say it's just a bit faster than a human's ability to heal, and so she can not do things like regrow limbs / reattach her head.

BUT to counteract her lack of a more proficient healing ability... misao and all jorōgumo can produce very sharp, silk-like threads and manipulate them to their liking to attack other's + create constructs out of these silk threads that can be used as weapons. and thus, one could argue that she has a certain 'advantage' over humans since this is a long-range attack, which would mean only they would have to get closer to her in combat if they didn't have any long-range weapons themselves. being a spider in actuality, misao can also make webbing that comes from within her. also, because of her true nature as a spider, misao can control diminutive spiders or just regularly sized spiders at will.

another, and her last ability, is that she has venom available at her disposal much like a real spider that targets the central nervous system / is a potent neurotoxin ( in which she would transfer directly into someone through a bite ) buttt the thing is is that she will often not use this method of killing, and/or seriously harming someone because of how long it takes for her body to regenerate the venom. thus, most of the time, misao will only use it if she is in a very dire situation where she has to defend herself or someone she cares about.

and as a result, those who are in combat with her don't really have to worry about her using this ability unless she's genuinely on death's door or something of that nature. so yeah; i hoped this gave you all a little more insight as to what exactly she can do with her powers as a jorōgumo.
