My thoughts on Romano/South Italy:

As I said in my Hetalia slideshow, he's the "Pathetic Cringefail Malewife (Angry)". Romano's the direct inheritor of Rome's legacy, but Veneciano's the one who actually got all the gifts. He's got the skeletal remains of his grandpa's legacy, an idiotic artsy brother who fortune keeps smiling upon, and to top it off, he's got a pretty abrasive and pessimistic personality. To me, he's got a super interesting character as being *half* of a united nation right now, which is something we haven't seen at all in canon aside from the "Prussia is East Germany" headcanon that you see floating around. That being said, even with all that "Heir and the Spare" stuff going around with him and Veneziano, he's one half of a whole idiot. He's rude, he's a womanizer, he'll run you over if you're not a priest. He makes amazing food and takes great care of his plants, but by god do not ask him to be organized or efficient. He's a peak disaster and I love him so much.

With the exception of tennis couples, seems like all the male players are dating influencers, all the female players are dating guys who got rich doing something dystopia + sketchy (acai supplement mogul?) Hey I was reading one of your post about Thane and you thinking about caving in.

I love that writers are willing to change things to make us readers happy (It’s really appreciated 😊) but I feel like that’s where they go wrong. Sometimes trying to appease everyone, especially when it comes their characters starts to make the process unenjoyable.

This is your project. If you think it would only cause frustration or annoyance- continue what you have planned. Who knows, maybe at some point if YOU really wanted to, you could do a small side story with MLM Thane route.

I think I'm taking Henry Cavil's stance on this a bit :)) Fans are allowed to have opinions and preferences about the media they consume, so I really don't mind the asks. It's really flattering that people are interested in Thane. If I had more time I would totally write a 'coming out of the closet' route for him 🤭 It's also the endless cycle of wanting to write faster and share the thing, and wanting to add more to it, but also share it, but also oh I could add this... that can make the process tedious at times. And it's true, when the possibilities in IFs are basically endless with enough time and attentions, one will never be able to satisfy everyone. And the more things I add, the more it will become a chore... so yeah😅 But a little side story would be interesting to explore 🤔

Here's my thoughts on Lithuania:

Oh my god, sir, please, take a nap. Or twelve. Just have Poland slip something into your black coffee and night night! The eyebags under your eyes physically cannot get darker.

In all actuality, Lithuania's one of my newer faves, and it's partially because he's my type because he's so miserable but in a fun way! He's the iron wolf but he's been lying down dutifully for tactical reasons for centuries. He's a strategist but he's got frayed nerves and enough anxiety to scare most therapists. He's got romantic tension with like, half of Eastern Europe. He's trying so hard to be a peacemaker but he will strangle Prussia the moment Russia's back is turned. And god, he's got confidence when he needs it but his brain is such a twisted winding narrative rabbit hole that only the insane are willing to traverse it. I love him, his character, and again, he needs several naps. And possibly a weighted blanket.
