Card text: 2+ Effect Monsters
Your opponent cannot activate cards or effects in response to this card's effect activations. If this card is Link Summoned: You can target 1 Link Monster that was used as material for its Link Summon; this card gains ATK equal to that monster's Link Rating x 1000. You can banish 1 Link Monster from your field or GY; destroy 1 card your opponent controls, also for the rest of this turn, you cannot banish monsters with that same Attribute to activate this effect of "Accesscode Talker".

I. Just. Want to play. Millennium Eyes. Without. Having to play into diviner of herald. And not. Have to play through. 3 handtraps/negates and/or ip masquerana and innate protection on normal effect monsters.
And I get that I shouldn't complain as an Orcust player. But man. I want to sometimes play a deck that isn't a perfect consistency machine.

Had the funniest duel on master duel just now. Sorry to people who don't know shit about yugioh tcg
I had little engine going for me but a lot of hand traps. Had 1 monster and 1 face down evenly matched. Opponent is playing swordsoul tenyi, had 2 monsters on the field, and their synchro guy can banish cards when they activate their effects. They destroyed my one (1) little guy on the field
I say fuck it, I'll be able to take at least 1 out with evenly. So I use it when I can. They chain their monster effect to banish evenly and I think to myself, ah fuck I've made a miscalculation I'm going to lose
But you see. Despite being banished first, evenly matched's effect still went through. And at that point I had no cards on my field, so they had to banish all the cards on their field
I won on my turn

You know what? Based reasoning on why she plays Archetype only cards in her deck and not have generic shit in her deck like Accesscode Talker.

So, my thing about Vrains is that it's not explicitly terrible. Like, it definitely has the potential to be a good story and have some actually profound moments. The issue is that the writing doesn't really explore these.
For instance: the central theme of the show is about the ability of sentient AIs and people to coexist. Whether humanity or these AIs are capable of working together and living with something so vastly different from who they are, and what their values are.
Season 1: Revolver/Varis is certain that the Ignis (the aforementioned AIs) will destroy humanity, and so must be exterminated. Even though he and Playmaker/Yusaku are both victims of the Hanoi Project, they come out of this with different views, with Playmaker ultimately convincing Revolver to at least back down, if not to change his beliefs, due to the damage that his hunt has caused.
Season 2: The Ignis are more fleshed out and make themselves known (though Ai has been with Playmaker since the beginning). The main conflict is that it turns out that they are destined to destroy humanity, but only because Lightning, the LIGHT attributed Ignis, had corrupt programming. But he is desperate and determined to survive in spite of this, to hell with even his own extremely limited brethren. He develops an extremely powerful AI that comes close to destroying everything, and leads to the death of all the Ignis but Ai in the process. In this way, it's revealed that Humanity and sentient AI are not so different, because they want to survive and thrive no matter what.
Season 3: Ai betrays Playmaker to become the final villain because...he's an AI and so he's destined to destroy humanity. Why is this his destiny? Just because. WHY? This doesn't make any fucking sense! And so he begs Playmaker to kill him so that he can be prevented from doing it, clearly showing that he cares and is capable of using that as a motivation for his actions. But hey, at least we got Accesscode Talker, right?
And then there's Aoi Zaizen. Never have I seen a girl character be so brutally destroyed so much as she was. The writing team treated her like a punching bag, and for what? She's supposed to be one of the best duelists in the world, and her deck was incredibly strong in the actual tcg? So why, when it mattered, did she always, always lose? The only times she won were against characters literally written to be weak or comic relief? Her duel against Spectre had her literally fall off her duel board and fall in a position that would break her spine if it were real. And it really makes her "growth" from Blue Maiden into Blue Girl feel unwarranted.
Speaking of Spectre, he was written to be possibly an even greater villain than Revolver. So why was he killed OFF SCREEN? He was this incredible duelist, extraordinary powerful, and his death was a footnote? I know they wanted to show Bohman to be "unbeatable," but there's no buildup or anything, so it just feels jarring and disappointing. I mean, sure, they brought Spectre back, but they didn't give him another line for the rest of the series. Not a single voice line. Why even bring him back then?

Vrains crew with digimon partners, part 3
first part part 2
time for another set of two people getting digimon partners and the possible evo lines, with it being egotistical knight of hanoi Specter and the star of the show Yusaku. will be trying to keep to their deck themes with the digimon levels going from child to ultimate.
Specter, the knight know for his defensive plant deck and his partner that would go well with him is Palmon.
Tumblr media
with this plant looking fairy will be the start to his decent into a wall of vines and thorns.
his dedication to the knights of hanoi will let Palmon to evolve to Woodmon.
Tumblr media
this is the start of the Sunavalon inspire digimon choice with this one more so represents Dryas (also got a interested in the archetype due to looking at the card art)
His resolve to prove himself enables woodmon to evolve into a full bloom guardian Jyureimon.
Tumblr media
this old timer digimon is meant to represent the higher link rating of Dryas. he even have fruit that those link monsters used to summon other monsters.
Specter's pride of his work and his accomplishments enables Jyureimon to reach ultimate level with the elegant Bloom lordmon.
Tumblr media
out of all the plant like digimon I felt that bloom lordmon fits with the more offensive side of his deck plus it is quite knight like fitting with the organisation he is part of.
now for main character playmaker/Yusaku he was the hardest to do caused his deck is more generic in theme. to start off I will start off with the presume prototype of digimon Dourmon.
Tumblr media
this digimon can fit quite well with Ai place in the story being something unknown that is sought after.
his interesting bond with this talkative digimon causes it to evolve to Gladimon.
Tumblr media
this guy is representative of the link 3 code talker line though more so decode talker.
with his friends backing him up Gladimon evolve once more into grademon.
Tumblr media
this power golden meteor of a digimon is akin to the link 4 Accesscode talker in similar color and power.
by taking everything he learn into motion Grademon becomes the digimon born from a daydream of a digimon, Dourgoramon.
Tumblr media
this beast of a digimon who is an avatar of destruction. Fun fact I had a hard time looking for a ultimate level digimon that fits with Yusaku and as soon as I saw this, the first thing that pop in mind was Firewall darkfluid dragon.

With Number C39: Utopia Ray Victory done, we now have to wait for the last remaining three ZEXAL era main sets, so the next major ZEXAL unlock to look for will be Number 96 due to Shadow Specters.
The news announcement also confirms there will be a new ZEXAL Skill, which going by its name, is likely the ZEXAL II change.
****
With this, there isn't any card for protagonists remaining that were cover cards of their respective Series' main sets, besides Accesscode Talker, Excode Talker, and Elemental HERO Air Neos (which likely will never be released before its reprint in the TCG for obvious reasons).
There are still many cards appearing in the main sets, though, and many cards that appeared in later promos/sets, so it is unlikely that next year will jump to Series 11 cover cards.
Most likely the next year's promotion will be a GX related card.
****
With ZEXAL II form likely coming, we will likely have Shining Evolution ability as its own card in the OCG soon.
For Yuma's Deck, the next major Utopia variant in the line is Number 39: Utopia Roots for the Eliphas Duel, though that will likely be released in the Duel Links for the Number 96 event.
Number C69: Heraldry Crest of Horror, and Number C92: Heart-eartH Chaos Dragon will be likely for the Number 96 event, so likely the Number 69 variants will have to wait for the Tron unlock.
Edit: Never mind, forgot about Accesscode Talker. This post has been corrected.

Considering how many cards nullify effects for a turn or while they stay on field you are right. The cards Breakthrough Skill, Forbidden Droplet, Infinite Impermanence, Divine Wrath, Ultimate Providence and others that I can't think of at the moment there are many ways they can stop a quirk from activating
*Cough* Not too mention * Cough* Clear Wing Synchro Dragon * Cough* and it's two negate effects
Also Izuku is gonna break the news too Accesscode Talker and Ash that they both kinda became famous online from there run in with that Gang and taking them down alongside that other odd Villain.
Meanwhile a certain Hobo with a sleeping bag is cursing as he now has too track down a Vigilante.
Well at least he isn't diving into this alone, there is good reason he is friends with Detective Tsukauchi
Only issue is that there are going too be multiple Vigilantes popping up, each just as strange as the last
Can't forget Majesty's Fiend who doesn't let opponent effects activate at all. :3
Poor Aizawa doesn't know he's chasing a child who should be in Elementary School, lol. Can I say Magician of Black Chaos for his first encounter? We know Hizashi is gonna crack some jokes when his friend comes back looking annoyed as Eraserhead definitely had to deal with Magical Hat shenanigans.

Do you think there will ever be any “final boss” duels where the winner of the duel doesn’t rely on cards that weren’t in their deck at the start of the duel in order to win? I just think it would be nice if whoever was the protagonist at the time won due to their foresight and diligence in preparation for the duel rather than having a bailout from external forces.
... Uh, let's see.
Yugi (VS Pegasus, Marik, Bakura and Atem)
Clearly starts the Duel with the cards all in his Deck. Ditto vs Yako.
Judai (VS Kagemaru)
I swear he starts Sabatiel in his Deck but it might of done the gimmicky 'make itself real' thing.
Judai (VS Saiou, Yubel and Darkness)
I'm fairly certain Judai's playing with a straight Deck with nothing weird happening besides cards being given to him before a Duel begins but that counts as foresight and dilligence.
Judai & Manjome VS Tragoedia
Ma'at relies on the Kaz era rules that Fusions are more of a Jungian Metaphor Field Game State where they're less outright cards and more the results of cards, so this doesn't exactly count, imo.
Yusei
Okay yeah, the Majestic Dragon and Shooting Star Dragon are deus ex machina but there's clear set up ultimately. Sifr was definitely pretty bad about this.
Yuma
I swear Numeron Dragon gets shuffled around to him and Shark prior to versus Don Thousand and I don't recall any shenanigans that much VS Shark, sans Shining Draw, but ZEXAL's universe is its own animal and its Extra Decks almost seem to be a Kaz tier of 'they don't exist until they do, fuck you'.
ARC-V
Define who or what the final boss is, but the Rules of Nature cards and Yuya's Extra Deck monsters don't seem to be breaking any of this.
Yusaku
Okay yeah, Darkfluid counts to your complaint but it was pretty much justified as a CAC to defeat Bowman's CAC.
Accesscode Talker and Borreload Furious Dragon were pre-prep so we can put this aside.
Yuga
Nothing implying he particularly breaks the rules on this for the final boss with Sevensgias.
But he did ironically do a massive amount of foresight, planning and preprep to make Mangum Overlord twice, and literally planned to get a copy of Fusion into his Deck from a stray satellite, so this is kind of a weird point where he's literally planned out cards being added to his Deck via very planned circumstances. So. HRM.
Yudias
Most of the time he heads into Duels with the cards he starts out with and Darkness Dwarf is literally Quaidul's scheme at play so that's an odd one but every other Duel is implied to be his own Deck?
But overall, I feel like this happens less than one thinks? At least for Final Bosses. Yusei and Playmaker are pretty bad about this.
