I sent two very unprofessional emails to literally all my bosses, and yeah I do kind of regret it, but only because I’m now going to get in trouble for using three (3) swears, and they’re probably going to continue to do jackshit about the incompetent as fuck guy they hired to do half of my old job, like they have been for fucking months.

it was fraud lmao, but i get a new card sent to me, and they prevented them from actually taking any money from me. turns out the txt options are a new thing!
So that's good, but i really wish it wasn't this also lmao
also, they can't say for sure, but everything is pointing towards this being part of the clinic data breach since that's the most recent and exposed all my personal and health data including saved payment methods lmao. love that im over a year out from working there and they're still! fucking up my life! But! the credit union in ND is amazing and wonderful and I am kissing them directly on the mouth for keeping my funds safe!!!

Omg and on top of it all I fuckin broke the straw off my water bottle so now I can’t,, drink water until I either get a new one or go buy a cup or plastic bottle of water and keep reusing that in the meantime. Didn’t want to do either of those things yesterday bc I was focused on Survival + my day had been fucked up enough I didn’t want another unexpected problem to fix.
The point of me sharing tho is I also need to find a new water bottle that’s dyspraxia accessible and i dunno where to look bc the one I broke was a (expensive) gift. And I wish nondyspraxics realized how hard it is to buy anything when all the little features make a difference in if you’re able to use it. You have one clumsy moment and now you’re like aw shit now I can’t Drink Water

What is the Purpose of Trying to Discredit Liberalism and The Idea of Democracy? Crimson Publishers
What is the Purpose of Trying to Discredit Liberalism and The Idea of Democracy? by Dzhamal Mutagirov In Integrative Journal of Conference Proceedings
Annotation
World monitors the continued strengthening of the international tension and continuing attacks some countries ‘governing elites’ to each other with astonishment and concern. This occurs under soothing statements about “end of the cold war”. The situation is like such of 1930 ‘s when, supposedly, also “there wasn’t any war” but, as Sir Winston Churchill [1] admitted later, “English-speaking peoples through their unwisdom carelessness and good nature allowed the wicked to rearm” [1-6]. The 75 anniversaries of the victory over fascism will be celebrated soon. Antifascist struggle had initiated the Global democratic revolution. Over the years, humankind has committed grand gallop forward, ended with colonialism, with external manifestations of racism, apartheid, had adopted the International Code of Human and Peoples ‘ Rights, committed scientific, technical, cultural, information and other revolutions. All this had enabled him to achieve very remarkable progress in all spheres of life. However, at the turn of the Millennia the story took an unexpected turn, the meaning of which remains an enigma. Using historical, logical and comparative methods allows to reveal the enigma.

The History of Subtitling and Accessibility Services
The History of Subtitling and Accessibility Services
The history of subtitling is deeply intertwined with the evolution of cinema itself. It all began with early silent films, which relied on intertitles to convey dialogue and narrative details. These intertitles were text cards inserted between scenes, and the precursors to modern subtitles. Filmmakers soon recognized the potential of these…

I feel like there's two parts to the no fly list leak that are getting overlooked right now
1) the person in question has the handle "maia arson crimew" meaning media outlets have to cite "crimew" as the person they're quoting, which is amazing.
2) From everything I've read, crimew didn't actually commit a crime (in this case at least). According to crimew, the no-fly list was discovered on a publicly accessible server, totally unsecured. crimew was using Shodan which is a totally legal tool regularly used by a lot of the security community for research. Schools use and provide access to Shodan, it's a normal tool. Nothing crimew was doing was out of the ordinary. Her access and use of the file was most likely legal (or at least next to impossible to prosecute), given that it was publicly accessible.
crimew even notified CommuteAir of the data vulnerability. Which prevented more sensitive data from leaking, and was absolutely a sign of acting in good faith. Her obligation to even do that is a pretty gray area, but she did it anyways.
Now, crimew has gotten charged by the US in the past for other things, however, Swiss citizens cannot be extradited against their will. So the proceedings were suspended. She could only be charged under Swiss law, and given that the data is/was publicly accessible and the exposure was for public good, that's very unlikely to happen.
The people actually getting investigated by congress/the FBI/the TSA are the idiots at CommuteAir that were hosting the no fly list on an unsecured publicly accessible server. They're the ones who actually get in trouble for failing to have followed basic security protocols. They're the ones who had a legal obligation to safe guard that data, and they're the ones who fucked up.
