The ending of Bingo and the Little Woman hits different with an arospec read of Bertie. His best friend has finally gotten married, which is often a moment of Aro Dread, but it was with such a one-sided friendship that always demanded and never gave, so his life is likely to get better from this point.

And then Bertie comes home and all his frustration melts away into happiness for how things are for him, in his cozy bachelor’s life with someone he loves at his side, and can’t even find it in himself to be mad at Jeeves for his questionable methods.

okay so someone sent me a dm yelling at me about my take that wodehouse might have been asexual so to that i say, please read about him and understand that i too am asexual and am quite happy with the idea that wodehouse might have been. there’s a ton of plausible evidence and even if he’s not, i can really truly relate to the way he approached telling stories. he wanted to focus on making the story as funny and interesting as possible while not being overly sexual or even overly romantic. sure, i ship jooster and sure i like hearing about the ridiculous infatuations that bingo little has and still enjoy interpretations that don’t follow the strictly asexual nature of the books and stories, but i truly like the idea that these characters are just ace or even aroace and stuck living in a world where people are forced to get married by their aunts who don’t understand. it’s all fun and games and getting mad at me won’t really change my mind about this interpretation. please don’t try to. i’m not trying to change anyone’s mind, i’m just having fun posting goofy things on tumblr

Theres a knock on Bertie's room door, Kristal is standing on the other side. Shes not wearing her usual fit of work, shes in a much more home alike setting, her hair is even down(it reaches down to the end of her torso.). She's holding her plushie- the one Bertie gave her one day, and she isnt really forcing herself in, shes just waiting.

“uhm.. hey, bertie? Do you.. wanna have maybe a tea party with me and mr whiskers(her plushie)?” her voice was gentle while she standed on the other side of the door.

With Basil and Kimi gone, the two safest people in his life right now with how Kristoph had been treating him, Bertie was feeling particularly lonely and honestly a bit upset too. He wants to go play the kissy game with Mama, but Basil got his grades back and Mama will be wanting to see Bertie's too. He looks up a little bit from where he's trying to practice his letters by drawing them, sniffling a little. A tea party sounds nice...... He doesn't say anything, he simply gets up and takes Periwinkle with him as he opens the door, merely blinking at Kristal without saying anything.

I just think if you’re doing a TGAA crossover and you’re using the name Herlock Sholmes. You have to apply that to all crossed-over characters. An encounter with Raffles and Bunny? Forgive me, you must mean J. A. Contests and his dear Hare Sanders. A Wodehouse crossover, you say? Why, surely it’s Wertie Booster and his marvelous valet, Jeginald Reeves!
