While looking through old Switch screenshots I discovered this picture of my island map when I just started playing in 2020. It's super satisfying to see how the island has developed in the last 3 years.The thing I like most about my island map is definitely that the airport and town hall are perfectly aligned (don't ask how many times I had to restart to get this 😅).

When I first started DMing for D&D I didn’t know there were sites that you could use to make maps. So I used animal crossing to make them.

They still worked and my players loved them. But I went back to make them again on Inkarnate.

Still not as fancy but I’m proud of myself.

We okay online so I try to work with what I have.

Hard to believe I’ve only been doing it for 4 months now.

the map is what it looks like atm but it has nothing on it like no furniture no trees no anything because i flattened my island and spent all my money on inclines and bridges - both inclines near the player houses cost 168,000 bells each and i had to get rid of one because i put it too close oh well also i would do treasure islands but i psychically can't because of how bad my social anxiety is and ngl i prefer to do it myself anyways those are my dreamies and there's the code for the mcr custom designs :3 <3

I'm back at acnh, so I will make just because.

What Dethklok would do on their island, their island theme, and more stuff.

Nathan: He doesn't have an island theme, and he just plays to go fishing but the island is pretty neat 0 weeds and just enough stuff for the neighbors to interact. He has the water section of the museum complete at this point but not the others, lol.

Pickles: Messy, no theme, just random objects placed on the island, cages of bugs, fish, and sea creatures everywhere. He played it the first months after the launch and never touched it again.

William: Something like medieval theme idk, terraforming makes him so impatient because he has his full idea, but it takes so much to make in game and also to get the right stuff for the decoration is just as hard. But even if it takes him several months, he's proud once he finishes it and wants to invite everyone to do a full tour as he explains every part of the island and the history.

Skwisgaar: His island is always on the winter season, and his theme is just white. Likes to have everything symmetrical on the map, his favorite thing to do is talk to their neighbors and watch the aurora borealis whenever it happens. Also, he likes happy home designer and he only plays at night when he can't sleep.

Toki: Kidcore theme, full of colors and cute stuff. He has basically finished the game, his island is 5 stars, and in happy home designer, everything is done, but sometimes he plays it again just because and he feels bad when it happens so much time without visiting the island. He never lets anyone move out and his neighbors are the ones from the beginning.

hi! i just wanted to say that you are absolutely my favorite acnh creator, i always look forward to your posts, as i find so much inspiration from your content. i love your decorating style so much, it’s so simple and almost nostalgic. i always look forward to visiting your islands, i enjoy them immensely, they give me such a warm and comforting feeling. so thank you for that!

i think it’s super neat that nordsea is your forever island. i was wondering if you would be able to post a picture of every map from each version of nordsea you’ve finished thus far. i think it would be fun to see all the different versions next to each other, to see how many ways you can design the same island. i’ve never even finished one island, but you’ve finished so many, with the same exact canvas. your creativity and talent truly knows no bounds!! :)

now the reason it took me a minute to respond to this ask is bc of this post request! i dont mind at all if anyone wants to make a post suggestion like this, its all good and fun, but.. you really got me here😂 i dont loooove my maps in general and im also sadly terrible at saving the ones from nordsea bc the da has been the same for two years now so i dont need to keep track u know👀 i already know i dont have every single one saved so im sorry about that! however i will do this for sure with as many maps as i can find, im working on it now💕

this is the oldest map i have of nordsea! you can still see the original version and im always surprised bc this is not at all the map i would pick today👀 but yea, thats the base, i’ll get back to you on the rest😅💛
