George remained silent for a minute. He looked at the woman in front of him with a puzzled expression—trying to form a thought. Darlene's hair had just been clipped short. Despite being trimmed, the medium-bob hair still maintained her distinctive wavy curls.

"Mhm! It looks great," he exclaimed. His face immediately turned into a radiant smile, beaming with complete confidence.

"I think you look very beautiful, just like you always do."

HEYA this draft lingers in my head for so long... I need to get out this visualization of George's full senyum :] from my brain when he is commenting his wife's fresh short hair!!!!

Something that i'd like to emphasize is ... George isn't someone that immediately reacts "WOW!" "o that's MY BEAUTIFUL WIFE RIGHT THERE!" He tend to pause forming thoughts, double checking with his heart and inner thoughts before deciding what he truly feels about something. Especially stuff that fairly new for him.

It may raise up a pause suspense and confuses someone that doesn't know him much tho. (Certainly it's not the case for Darlene)

People may came up with "???? why does he go silent?? is he ignoring me??" "oh he MUST be hating it" yada yada. but then he blurt out a surprising answer at a very last minute.

He quite a slowpoke, but everything that ended up coming out from him is earnest and true. Could be too naively honest

if i can somewhat draw the whole important scenes of this side chapter. i swear there are even more plenty of goofy george things that i made me go giggling kicking my feet while writing

A drawn idea probably happening around the 2 act I think, once you decide to romance him.

I always thought that something very extreme must have happened between the player and Astarion during the nights, especially with the background knowledge of how much experience Astarion must have had. Maybe the combination of bonded tadpoles and satisfied hunger help him, but after his confession, I could imagine that something much more eye-opening could have happened between the characters. The possibilities are endless, I enjoy playing around with that!
