Chicago Fire Season 3 Ep. 10 "Santa Bites"

Firehouse 51 gets a call about a house fire. Mills deals with the fallout of a previous call until the dead boy's mob father aplogizes. On an ambulance call, Mills and Brett are kidnapped. Dawson and Casey's relationship changes. The crews help the chaplain raise money for a soup kitchen. Boden waits for his new child. Molly's II opens.

At the start of the shift, Papa Lullo apologizes to Mills outside 51. The Mafioso seems sincere and makes Mills feel better, so he asks Boden to drop the charges against Lullo. Later, Mills joins Brett on a nearby call. A homeless man is hurt after a dumb truck ran him over. As they prepare him for the ambulance, a car pulls into the alley, blocking their way.

Casey ignores Dawson. She thinks she signed up for something she can't handle. Casey invites Severide out for drinks, which quickly gets out of control. Casey wakes up hungover on a stranger's couch with an attractive woman.

Back at 51, Casey asks Severide about the night and learns he passed out on the couch while Severide was with a woman. He lets the evening's events slide until the woman stops by to drop off his phone. Dawson is the first person she sees. She's angry about Casey hanging out with Severide. He says Dawson doesn't respect his role as lieutenant and fiancé. Dawson leaves in a bad mood.

An apartment fire leads to the rescue of a woman trapped in the bathroom and her terrified husband, who leaves his wife to be saved first. But later, the husband says he saved the woman on TV, which makes the firehouse angry. He goes to 51 to thank the team and tell them abut his role in the rescue. He also reveals that he was a burn victim. He shows his scars.

The city wants to condemn the couple's building. Severide and his team go to approve it, but further investigation reveals the fire ignited from three places at once. This means the husband started the fire. It also leads to the husband's unsavory exit from his wife's hospital bed.

At the Holiday Festival, Molly's II makes its world debut. Just as Herrmann is interviewed by his favourite Chicago newscaster, the truck hits a nativity scene. Cruz accidentally unlocked the brake. Herrmann fires the whole Molly's II team after the accident. Cruz decides to donate the food truck to Chaplain Orlovsky, who needs new soup kitchen facilities. Orlovsky is happy to accept the donation.

Back at the station, Donna suggests hyphenating their child's last name. Boden says no, because of tradition. Donna lets him be stubborn at first, but later decides to be the mother. But she gets interrupted by labor. The paramedics are missing and Dawson is gone. The squad rushes Donna to the hospital. Traffic stops them, and Donna gives birth on the fire truck with Severide and Boden by her side. She and Boden celebrate the birth. Donna agrees to let the baby take Boden's last name.

Terrence turns blue at Chicago Med. A nurse says he's in respiratory distress because his lungs aren't absorbing oxygen. Doctors rush the newborn to save his life.

Casey looks for the missing paramedics and finds their ambulance in an alley, but they're not there. The car is gone too. The only thing left was the homeless victim and an empty ambulance.
