4. Weiss gives Yang a speech about how everyone handles trauma yet it never occurs to her that Whitley can also be applied to it. Apparently she thought Whitley acted like a dick just because.

5. “He wants nothing to do with me!” Yet every time the two are one screen, Whitley is the first one to make a move towards Weiss. He had smarmy conversations with her, yes, but he still CHOSE to interact with her numerous times.

6. It’s true Weiss has no obligation to coddle Whitley or be partake in Willow’s parentification. But this is a two way street meaning Whitley also should have no obligation to be nice and obey her every whim.

7. Why is Whitley framed as being the one who has to earn his redemption? Wouldn’t it have been better to have both him and Weiss admit they didn’t handle each other in the best manner and finally meet halfway after years of misunderstandings? Why does Whitley have to risk his life for Weiss to finally realize he ain’t so bad?

8. “I didn’t forget you.” Yeah, thanks for saving his life but that still doesn’t make your previous negligence magically disappear. You still aren’t sister of the year.

I would like to also mention that "Microsoft's a bitch ass motherfucker" and so on is a reference to a sonic fan dub in which the person dubbing eggman/robotnik says "I have come to make an accouncement; shadow the hedgehog is a bitchass motherfucker, he pissed on my fucking wife", etc. This and the continuation of the speech is directly copying it !

VERY important context. Segregation is still banned. By longstanding supreme court precedent. We can be sure that there will be attempts to overturn that in the future but an executive order cannot reallow segregation. This is bad and a sign of what’s to come but there is no means of applying this yet.

We all knew this was coming and I'm 100% going to be throwing this in the face of everyone who told me I was fearmongering or over exaggerating during the 2024 election.

This has been the goal of the electoral right for 70 years. Desegregation was literally the thing that caused the Evangelical Right to form.

And notice how this was a footnote in an executive order about "gender ideology," almost like bigotries are all connected and they're going to use attacking "gender ideology" as a Trojan Horse to jam through recinding all civil rights since a lot of y'all just decided trans people aren't worth fighting for.

And this shit is going to just keep rolling back.
