This winter feels like 2020 winter but the Groundhog Day version about the round when Bill Murray steals the groundhog and drives off the cliff with it.

I realized this while standing in the laundromat waiting for my clothes to finish the wash cycle and Whoopi Goldberg was introducing Bill Murray on The View. Because my laundromat does the Most, the sound is always on so I got to hear Whoopi pronounce his name “Maray” and I honestly don’t know if she actually thinks his last name is Maury (derogatory). Because she pronounced it the same the second round so there was no Adele Dazeem-level confusion.

There is bad and there is also good and today I’m focusing on the good.

While watching it I could not stop thinking of an episode with Adele making fun at her public picture and how cool she would be in comedy. Especially interacting with Camille Cottin. Hi anon !! Yeah the idea of Adele in Call My Agent would have been pretty nice indeed, especially in the earliest season. Because the show became quite messy in the last season and I don’t think making a film + another season after that was a good idea haha. I feel like it’s running out of ideas.

But yeah I would have loved to see Adele in the earliest seasons, playing next to Camille Cottin or Nicolas Maury ! that would have been really fun haha!

9. What song cover do you like better than the original?   Adele’s cover of George Michael’s Fastlove. She performed it on an award show in honor of George Michael, who had recently just passed. It was hauntingly beautiful. I’m sad she never did a studio cover and released it.

10. When was the last time you found yourself somewhere you didn’t want to be? may I ask where that place was?    My doctor appointment last month. I have to go again Friday, meh.

11. Who or what was the subject of the last photograph you took?    My doggo.

I will not even bother with the departures, they are even more depressing to be honest. Then we were all completely astounded as on a SUNDAY they confirmed Andre Silva for less than estimated and completely out of nowhere.

In the meantime, they were managing the Dollarumma incident masterfully, in which Raiola had to concede defeat in the end and fucking because he was completely outplayed, while keeping up negotiations for Conti and Biglia, they suddenly snapped Borini ,on loan with obligation, from the clutches of Lazio and in the same weekend hammered a deal for Hakan Calhanoglu, once again out of nowhere.

Things then slowed down, a bit more than a week after we had Conti, the Mercato seemed about over, and we were looking at Kalinic or Aubameyang. Suddenly, a rumor for Bonucci came out. And let’s be honest, all of us thought at the moment “Us? Buying Bonucci? That’s bullshit.”

2 days later Bonucci has actually joined us, and never have I seen our own Fossa brimming with so much activity since the days of The Offside.

The Old Guard, you know who you are. We have been here through thick and thin. We’ve endured depressing mercatos, depressing football, Pippoball, Mihajlovic’s attempt at whatever that was not 442.

For all of those who like me kept our chin up, suffering every morning, watching the A.C. Milan games even knowing that perhaps your whole day and/or weekend was about to get ruined, enduring this sick obsession. This is what it means to be a red and black rossonero.

Thursday was the biggest statement of intent I have seen from our ownership since the day we brought Zlatan back to Italy; we are announcing to the world, we are coming to take back what is rightfully ours. And it’s not a puny scudetto. It’s the good ‘ol big eared one. The one that our bianconeri rivals have lost 7 times in the final.
