watched episode one of the fallout show and here are my thoughts so far (I’ve only seen episode one and a bit of episode 2 don’t spoil)
-firstly I really enjoyed the first episode, I thought it was really good!!
-the brotherhood are portrayed as arseholes, I approve.
-really leaning into the religious side of the brotherhood with clerics and stuff, kinda dig it?
-booed when the airship appeared, according to the magazine teaser months ago it’s not the prydwen so?? how? guess we’ll find out later
-knight titus can kick rocks and how he dies was hilarious
-again, I approve of this portrayal of the brotherhood
-vault 33 is built on a beach, this seems like a terrible idea (but its vault tec so ig??)
-the vaults in la are connected by tunnels it seems? That’s interesting
-same with the getting partners from different vaults to avoid inbreeding
-what happened to the ncr? why aren’t they around
-guess we’ll find out later
-also the enclave are back?? seems like a big bunker with them in some snow place? guessing Oregon?
-like all 3 protagonists so far! maximus (sp?) deserves better
-is Lucy’s brother the fucking guy from Hannah Montana???
-also I think we see the cathedral in the pre war section at the beginning? seemed comically big tho
-also heard this show is game canon? should’ve just been its own universe thing but ok

#The Atypical Family#I haven’t enjoyed/ been so moved by a drama in a very long time ❤️#just finished it I cried so much & SO hard haha#I was completely immersed and engaged from beginning to end which is rare (12 eps is a good length too)#I didn’t expect it to have so much depth and be so touching going into it I just wanted something different#mental illnesses complex interesting characters complicated -toxic- family relationships fantasy fated lovers found family...#well written and WONDERFULLY acted!!#the whole cast was amazing but the two leads were just outstanding wow#never saw either of them in big roles and now I’m a huge fan of both#Chun Woo Hee I’m so in love with you#I’m usually more touched by the female lead (actress/character) but the male lead actor was acting his ass off and made me SOB many times#his scenes with his daughter Ina oh I was a MESS and of course the lead couple scenes together <3#I also haven’t been that impressed by romance lately in shows but theirs was truly beautiful (and again: really well acted)#I could relate to parts of most characters: Dahae Donghee Gwiju Ina..#a poetic emotional rollercoaster and my favorite drama this year so far (by far)#now I want to carry on watching Queen of Tears (mainly for my Queen Kim Jiwon I’m her number one fan) and watch Lovely Runner too#but it will be hard to beat this one and I highly recommend it!!#deserved more love & attention#my mom loved it too it standed out to her and she watches ALL the kdramas lol#forgot to mention the magical OST I see you by the oh so great Lee Sora and her bewitching voice <3#I also haven’t been so moved by an ost in a long time it added so much to the atmosphere of the drama & really transported me into its worl#korean drama#2024#shots#cinematography#jang ki yong#cheon wo hee#Claudia Kim#park soyi

It’s a PMD Sky romhack! It serves as both a sequel and a canon divergence kinda thing. I’m not super far into the game but it’s really interesting so far 👀 I’ll definitely be posting more about it as I play through it!
#Several things I’ve noticed:#Idk if they adjusted the level curve or what but HOLY shit. The dungeon mons are so strong for some reason.#I never got my ass kicked this hard early game until this hack lmao#Also. Us bickering with Chatot is very funny. the noises of the outside world fill me with so much dread. voices of people walking by. cars and trucks going down the road and i feel terrified like im being hunted. airplanes and distant rumbling of trains and construction equipment rattling and clanging and booming and thundering and when i pause to really listen (bc i can usually hear it over the ac or the tv or music) i’m sometimes shocked by just how quiet it is and how far away the source of the noise is but i can HEAR IT and i can’t stop thinking about it and im paralyzed forever by the overwhelming power of the Noise Fear
#sometimes it is really loud like a truck or motorcycle passing by#but usually it’s these very low frequency very far away rumbling noises that upset me the most#it is such an overwhelming feeling that it’s one of the main reasons i’m constantly stoned and on my phone#bc if i can zone in and ignore everything but my phone then im not feeling the overwhelming noise dread i can maybe feel ok for a minute#my worst enemy lately the fridge and the airplanes especially and the cars i can hear them coming for so long and they get so loud#i enjoy nature noises but i think they also overwhelm me#i should wear noise cancelling headphones again i think i would be happier overall

not to sound like a broken record but i love my friends so fucking much
#this week has been a rollercoaster of emotions for me but seeing my friends has been a life saver#genuinely my friends are so incredible#yesterday i went down to the river with two of them#the first two of us who got there read for a bit and then got in the water and did some really stupid splashing around#and it felt so free and it was so nice to laugh and act like an idiot and not just not feel self-conscious#but actually feel appreciated#(at one point they said ‘dude you look so gay right now’ and that’s the BEST compliment)#and then we spent like twenty minutes just throwing rocks#not skipping rocks#literally just finding big rocks and seeing how far we could throw them and enjoying the PLUNK they made#then we found a spot where the current was really strong to sit against and acted like idiots a bit more#and then our other friend got there and we all talked for a long time and read a bit more#and then today my other friend came over to body double for me while I start packing to move#and we found old books from when i was little and the things i’d written in them and had some good laughs#and then watched Babylon 5 (the episode itself was. kinda a downer and that’s an understatement. but it’s still Babylon 5)#tomorrow i’ll go see Papa again if he makes it through tonight. i think he will.#and then on the weekend i’ll see my other friend! and that’s always fun. plus i’ve been very physical affection driven lately#and they’re good for that. AND they have a cat AND a dog so like. ideal all around.#anyway my friends are my family and i’m totally not crying rn bc i’m so lucky to have them#personal

Why don't you love your comics anymore? I thought you enjoyed drawing them. I always looked forward to see an update come out and also I want to see Bernie's backstory it's really sad and also so heartwarming to see him change and grow. Like it's showing people you always have a chance to change who you were no matter what you were in the past. And it just really makes me smile.

sometimes I wonder if I should take a gender studies class just so I can bitch every day about how an imaginary boyfriend is often seen as a requirement for a woman to feel safe enough to have fun at a club, or the idea that an imaginary person with a fake “claim” over me has more influence over predatory men than my own voice saying “No, I’m not interested, get lost”

I miss going to bars and clubs and enjoying the night#but I wanna go with my friends and leave my boyfriend at home for once#he gets to go out and enjoy himself all the time with his friends and they never even have to deal with unwanted flirtation#meanwhile I go out in a tshirt and jeans and get fucking catcalled or flirted with just fucking getting groceries#and it’s not a narrative on beauty or anything. it’s about men’s perception of women#specifically predatory men and men who don’t realize they’re BEING predatory#perhaps it’s because I’ve been going to this fucking gamer school for far too long#and I’ve interacted with so many socially inept/incel men from there#who don’t know what no means or dont take women seriously when they do say no#or they literally cannot read between the lines of a woman politely declining their advances#‘but she was being so nice to me’ yeah bc if she wasn’t you’d either call her a bitch or try to force her anyway#anyway. I’m angry#im tired of living in fear of morons#I’m tired of not being able to go out on a Tuesday night and just walk the town with my friends#specifically my femme friends#we should be at the club!! instead we’re trying to make sure the group is like a school of fish so we’re less of a target#and like. I could talk about this on twt or reddit but. cmon. let’s be real here#MelloMoans#really does feel like we’re going backwards when it comes to gender equality and feminism#especially with the influx of the whole sigma male/high value male bullshit#I understand how it came to be I really do but that plus the whole pick me girl thing is just another toxic view of gender identity#and all it has resulted in on both sides is a wider degree of separation between the genders#therefore allowing both extremes to dehumanize every one that doesn’t identify as sigma male or not like other girls YET AGAIN#(and therefore also opens up the door for dehumanizing lgbtq+ folks but. let’s be real. that hasn’t really gone away yet :/

I just finished Skypeia AGHHHFJHHHH it was so GOOD
#One Piece#My favorite arc BY FAR#It was really long! But it wasn’t Alabasta long!!#Also Noland’s backstory deadass made me tear up that shit was so sad#Idk this arc just really kept me hooked. Like there wasn’t really a point I got super bored#Even with all the fights going on#Also just realizing they mentioned Noland in OPLA too. Nami read Zoro the book while he was totally conked out#Anyway ANYWAY I really enjoyed it. Lots of fun character interactions#And Usopp actually getting to do stuff too?? MY MANS#Oh and Zoro’s look this arc. God he was STYLIN. I’m so weak for a man in goggles shut up.#Logically that should apply to Usopp too and you know what. Yeah.#G8 is next and I know it’s filler but I’ve heard nothing but praise for it#So I’ll probably watch it instead of skipping :’D#Shima speaks#Also I find it stupidly ridiculous and funny that YET AGAIN Oda said ‘Lol you thought x character was dead?? SIKE’#Wiper got electrocuted and died like eight times but he’s fine actually. Also Sanji and Usopp got electrocuted too and were out#for like a full day. life is so so good right now. i love my new job and i love all my friends and my new coworkers. i love hanging out with my old coworkers still too. i’m so excited for school to start and i love all my classes so much. i love seeing my boyfriend more and i just LOVE him so much.
i really love getting to regress for my own pleasure and not involuntarily because i’m stressed! i love enjoying my regression because i feel like i haven’t in so long!
