that period of time where daisy was really struggling with her grief and guilt over lincoln’s death was very sad, but i will always think that her making the conscious decision to become emo is just so funny. she did not own that jewelry before. i think of the day that she decided to go out on her own, and i just imagine her going to the store and buying chains and a bunch of new leather jackets. she did not need to do all that. what was even the point. if the point was to hide her identity, she should’ve just gotten a mask or something. she did not blend in with her new style. she was absolutely slaying and she knew it. EVEN if she did own the clothes before, she made a conscious decision in the middle of EVERYTHING that was happening to start wearing more eye makeup and jewelry and leather jackets. i love her so much

Had my first day back at University today and a lot of it was just going over the syllabus. But the teacher said the word ‘Framework’ like 7 times and each time I had a major flashback to season 4.

THE HYDRA SOAK AD IN WANDAVISION WAS A SOAP BY HYDRA

And in Agents of SHIELD season 4 in the Framework, Coulson tells Daisy that HYDRA made a blue soap “that seeps into your bloodstream, plants memories that aren’t there”.

Of course, we all thought that it was Coulson being Coulson, because we obviously see Daisy’s face going “wtf is wrong with you dad”.

But what if the soap was actually real? What if there was actually a chemical in Westviews soap that seeped into their bloodstream and planted memories that weren't there? 

And that’s why Monica Rambeau thinks she's Geraldine? And in the trailer she says she doesn’t know who she is? And that's why everyone is so confused about what's going on?

Of course, its unlikely that the entire town is using the same soap, but in theory with Wanda’s powers it could be.

honestly rewatching aos season four makes me realize just how fucked up lmds are. not even focusing on the framework, which is also fucked up, just lmds. 

seriously. think about it. first of all, someone you love has been replaced by a piece of technology and you don’t even know about it. do you realize how insane that is? like, you could be developing a relationship or going shopping with or legitimately just hanging out with a freaking robot. but they have every memory and they’re programmed to feel what a real person feels so like, how would you know?? i mean, unless you shoot them or stab them or otherwise injure them, you have absolutely no idea that your friend/family member/whoever isn’t even real. that’s messed up. i mean seriously, 4x15 hit hard, but once you real think about it, it hits h a r d. 

just think about trying to stab someone you love. like really think about it. would you be able to do that if you knew that there was a chance that they aren’t an lmd? and neither human or lmd would ever consent to you casually sticking a knife in them so you’d have to catch them by surprise and like?? can you imagine just waking up in extreme pain to find your friend/family member stabbing you because they think you’re a fucking robot? 

on the other hand, if you don’t catch them by surprise, you have to stab them with them pleading with you not to do it because i don’t know about you but being stabbed does not sound like a fun idea to me?? so of course if my best friend or sister or someone was brandishing a pokey thing saying that they needed to make sure i wasn’t a freakin robot, i would be like!! sobbing!! screaming!! pleading with them to stop!! stabbing someone you love in general would be super hard but with them actively begging you not to is like?? h o w 

 another thing about lmds, they feel what we feel. they feel pain!! they have real reactions to it!! and they feel fear, as evidenced by may in 4x15 when she says, ‘are you afraid to die?’ like do you understand how fucking messed up that is?? they have feelings and memories and fears and they are pretty much you but with a synthetic mind and programmed features! do you understand how fucking terrifying it is that someone can replicate you that easily??

but that isn’t even the worst part. 

the worst part is that you can be an lmd and not even know about it. 

take may, her character just found out she’s a fucking robot and it’s scary because she has no idea when she got replaced. you would have no clue until you traced your steps, even then it’s only if you were lucky enough to find an anomaly that you’d figure it out! you could’ve lived your whole life as a robot. but then, what if you’ve always been a robot? what if everyone around you is a robot? this has some terrifying questions people. 

oh, and then we get to the thing where you’re so focused about figuring out if everyone else around is an lmd that you don’t even consider that you could be. why would you? you’re real, you remember things, you feel things, you were terrified of that spider on the wall the other day, but there is no way to prove that you aren’t a robot to everyone else and to yourself unless you tear open your skin. 

as you can probably tell, i am now terrified.
