Jelly Glue Bookmarks: a craft for Middle Regressors and Dreamers

This is a simple craft that I recently rediscovered. You don’t need much to make it, and it’s great if you love to read.

Here’s what you will need:

Elmers glue, white for a milky effect or clear for a crystal effect

Crayola markers

Glitter (optional)

A rectangular plastic or metal pencil case

A toothpick

Scissors

A lot of patience

To make these, first

set out your rectangular pencil case and open it.

Now select the colors you like from your marker box.

Scribble with the markers inside the pencil box in the design you want the bookmark to be. Don’t do anything too intricate, because it will bleed together. Also, don’t worry about staining, the glue soaks it all up.

Now, carefully fill the pencil case with a shallow but substantial layer of the elmers glue of your choosing. Make sure it is an even layer. It will soak up the color from the markers- it’s almost like magic!

You can use the toothpick to swirl the colors together if you like, or just to get the bubbles out.

If you are adding glitter, you can sprinkle it on now.

Leave it over night.

The next morning, try peeling off a little bit. If it breaks, it’s not dry yet, so put it back and leave it till it all comes out in one piece.

Trim the uneven edges, and voila, you have a bookmark!

Another good use of these is to use them to mark pages in your agere journal. Happy crafting!

Hello!! Not a request, which I hope is okay, but I was hoping I could ask: What do you use (as in like programs/apps) to make things like your mood-boards or outfit boards? And if possible, do you have any tips for making some myself? I've made a couple before but I always seem to struggle with thinking of objects and stuff to put on them. I use Ibis Paint X (freely available for android and iOS) and have been for multiple years. It's actually a drawing up but it's GREAT for editing too!! It takes a bit getting used to but once you get the hang of all the controls it's super easy I promise :D

Outfit Board Tips:

- Stick to a specific theme (i.e. The Zoo)

- I like to start with the outfit (I'm a big fan of shorts if it wasn't obvious), you can also use it for color guidance!

- I usually like to include at least one outfit, one food item and one plushie

- I think it's also important to keep the age group you want to make the board for in mind, it helps with searching for toys

- As for choosing the items, I usually think of me and my childhood and what I want(ed) to play with myself! You can often find specific toys/food items with a google image search (i.e. i searched for Zoo Cookies, Capri Sun Orange, Monkey Board Game)

- In my opinion, a big part of making something look nice is composition. I usually work with three sizes of images: big, middle and small. I try to only put two big elements (one being the outfit) and put them farthest apart from each other. I place middle images randomly and fill in the spaces with the small images (which are usually "clutter" like legos, shells, gummies etc. all the same thing but different colors/shapes)

- As for where to find pngs, I usually use Pinterest, Google and Tumblr (#agerepngs) and I make my own pngs with background remover websites such as remove.bg or pixian.ai BUT you can also make them yourself with Ibis Paint X or PicsArt!

- And lastly, I like to do fun little swirls & patterns around the object to fill the empty spaces even more

hey, ik this is kinda dumb but i was trying to make a stimboard account of my own but i can't work out how to arrange the gifs and stuff :( do i do it on mobile or pc?

Hi! Thank you for asking!!! Your question isn’t dumb at all

I do all my stimboard making on my phone!

I use only Pinterest, CapCut and of course, Tumblr!

Here’s a step-by-step guide to how I make stimboards!

I start off on Pinterest. I search using colours and stims that I wanna search for and add ‘stim gif’ to the end, or sometimes just ‘gif’ if I’m looking for gifs of characters or from shows! (Sometimes if I can’t find the result I’m looking for, I result to using Google)

When I find a gif I like, I click the 3 dots in the corner of the gif and download it!

After that, if I find one of the images isn’t a perfect square, just so that the result is more neat, I go to CapCut to correct it! (Tumblr does automatically set your images to similar sizes but it can make the images more rectangular if the sizes aren’t all right and I prefer having perfect squares but it’s up to you!

I actually forgot to do it here but remember to remove the CapCut watermark at the end! I really hope that visual guide made sense, I really should make a whole separate post for that lol

For the uploading to Tumblr, what I do is pretty easy! I usually add the top caption first but then I go on a separate line and select all 9 gifs that I decided to use! I usually try to visualise what order they’ll be in as I select them (the first thing you select will be top left, fifth will be middle and last will be bottom right) but you can always reorganise them! I find that trickier though… But Tumblr should automatically put everything into a nice, square, stimboard shape!

After that, I add the sub-caption and anything else I want to say!

I then finish it off with my banner thingy and the tags I wanna use (I usually use my usual agere tags followed by stimboard and theme tags!)

Then my stimboard is off and posted!

(For moodboards I do a similar thing but instead of using ‘stim gif’ at the end, I usually use ‘aesthetic’, and I search for ‘deco pacifier’ pics on Pinterest and such! I also just use my photo gallery to edit all the pics into squares since CapCut isn’t needed)

Something I would absolutely Love to see more of is agere youtubers. I know people worry about what content to make but honestly I would just like it if a regressor would vlog their day, no matter how boring or exciting.

Just post showing off all your amazing coloring books, make "regress with me" videos, make a video on how to set up a fun bath time for when you're regressed, heck, maybe even do a tutorial on how to make your own bathbombs. You could make holiday vlogs for around the holidays, you could make house tours and nursery/play room tours, do "what's in my agere bag" do diapy reviews and toy reviews and unboxings!

Maybe you're more of a gamer baby, you could make gameplay videos!

I love agere content creators, I love agere youtubers, I love them all and we need moreee

I would do it myself but I am not currently in a home-life situation that makes it safe for me to do that level of content creation, I wish I was and I know I will wanna do more content creation about regression especially on YouTube once I'm out of the circumstances I'm in but still wahhh. I would honestly love to have my own little community where I could post on YouTube and stream on twitch and just hang out with a bunch of other age regressor friends, it'd be so amazing

Crediting Gifs — A Guide

Heya everyone ! I know the agere community is big on giving credit when using people's icons, banners, etc. but I've noticing a lack of the same effort/energy when it comes to crediting gifs, and as someone who runs a stimboard blog it kinda irks me, so here's my attempt at a guide for how to properly credit gifs !

❓️ — Why Should You Credit Gifs?

- Because those gifs were created by someone in their own time with their own energy, just like a piece of art or a moodboard.

- Stealing isn't okay, and that includes stealing gifs !

❓️ — You Don't Have An Excuse.

• "Credit to the creator / credit to Pinterest" ARE NOT okay to do. All the gifs on Pinterest are already stolen (most from here) and the creators themselves are also from here, so there's no reason to use that for sourcing !

• "I couldn't find the source" then either don't use that gif OR go to a reliable blog (see❓️— good blogs for sourcing) and search for it / a similar one there !

• "I'll post now and credit later" NOOO. As someone with memory loss/issues, trust me when I say you most likely will not remember. Keep that board in your drafts until you've credited all your gifs or don't post it at all.

• "I don't have the spoons / am in a smaller headspace / etc." As a disabled regressor myself, neither of those are good excuses. If you can download a gif and insert it into a post, you can copy a link and give credit. /gen

• "People are harassing me to credit the creators, so I refuse!" Harrassing others isn't nice, but neither is stealing. If someone tells you to credit a gif, or even tells you it's theirs, then listen to them ! Be the bigger (haha) person and show kindness and respect to those who create the gifs you use !

• save them in your notes app, a Google doc or in your Tumblr drafts !

• To copy a source, click the three dots at the top of a post, then click 'copy link'

• insert the link into whatever you're using to save them, and either add the gift or make a note so you know which one it belongs to !

hi! i'm in college and i'm researching things to put in a self care box for midterms and finals next semester because my first semester as a college freshman was not it

here's what i found for all my friends <3

this is a long post, get comfy friends

i found this gift box that's super cute, reusable, and you can choose any color you want. why a gift box? because self care is a gift to yourself

of course, you don't have to spend money on a gift box either! there's many tutorials on making shoe boxes, amazon boxes, and any other type of box i can't think of, to look cute and just your style.

you can also buy cheap gift boxes at walmart or target or any store you like to go to

enough of my waffling about boxes, here's the fun stuff:

emotional self-care

journal for writing down emotions and stuff. i'd recommend making a little agere journal for yourself since it's a lot of fun <;3 i use these pompts when i can't think of things

coloring books are my personal favorite, you can get nice ones for $20-$30 or a kids one of your favorite show!! here's a pack of 16 on amazon if you go through coloring books too another bulk pack(disney and other kids shows) pokemon and sanrio

colored pencils! if you don't already have some i would recommend crayola. this is what i have

cute pencil pouches!! for the colored pencils of course and they can be your favorite color or pattern <;3 this is one i've had my eye on bc it can hold 100 of those colored pencils(floral)

tissues for if you need a good cry. crying is actually super healthy and i wouldn't hold it in

optional: a paci <3 i can't use amazon and get an adult pacifier so i def recommend going to the store(on your own if you can) and get an 18m+ paci, the best for adults are 2-4 years if they sell them

physical

bath time!!:

get some yummy smelling body wash, it's nice

i have little fizzy tabs from mr. bubble and one of those is ~$5

bubbles!!

some little toys like bath crayons and rubber duckies are always fun <3

i would also invest in hair-care and skin-care if you don't already. it always makes me feels better

you can also get your favorite candy and your favorite snack for your box <3 a nice little treat for you

also, warm drinks are always fun! my favorites are angel milk(12oz milk, 1-2 tbsp sugar, a little bit of vanilla extract) and hot chocolate

and get some strong, but really good, scent. candles, scensy melts, and essential oils are perfect <3

mental

books! or if you don't like to read physical books, audiobooks. audible and libby by overdrive are good and you can color while you listen!!!

little puzzles or fidgets are also nice. my favrite at the moment are the little clicker toys(i like the noise) and pop-its

allow yourself to relax a bit with your favorite show!! write down a list of your favorites and put it in the self-care box, then you won't have too much trouble picking what to watch

these are all things that sound appealing to me so definitely look out for yourself and what you like. these are just suggestions that i wanted to share with you guys!!

DIY Twinkle Toes-style shoes

If you’re a 2000s kid, you might remember twinkle toes. They were very popular in my gradeschool, and I owned a pair when I was around 8, which happens to be around the age that I regress to. Unfortunately, they do not make these in adult sizes, but I still wanted a pair, so I decided to make my own.

Disclaimer: while this is an age regression and dreaming blog, it’s best if you make these while in a big headspace, because of the delicate details and materials required for the project.

With that out of the way, let’s get into the tutorial:

To make these you will need:

One pair of basic canvas sneakers with the laces removed

Glitter shoelaces

6mm rhinestones

Nail glue

Masking tape and sticker paper

Scissors

Pencil

Paint brushes

Fabric paint

Tweezers (not pictured)

The first step is to tape off the area around the rivets where the laces go like this:

This ensures that you will get a clean line. Now, if you are using dark shoes like me, you’ll want to paint this area white so that the color you choose to color it with shows up brighter.

If you’re using light shoes, you can skip this step.

Now, choose whichever color you like, and paint over the area with it. If you want the fabric paint to dry faster, you can use a hairdryer.

When you’re done, it should look something like this.

Now, you can create designs on the rest of the shoe. I like clovers, so I decided on a clover motif.

Draw the design you want on the sticker paper like so:

And then cut it out from the inside. this will be your stencil. Paste the stencil wherever you want on the shoe, and then paint inside of it like you painted around the rivets earlier. You can also write words on the shoes.

Now for the part you all have been waiting for: the rhinestones. Using tweesers, take eache rhinestone and dip it in nail glue. Then place the rhinestone onto the white part of the sneakers like this:

When you’re done, they should look like this:

Now,once the glue is dried, you can lace them up with the glitter laces! I put beads on mine.

Ta-daaaa!!!! You’re done! I hope this tutorial can find the people who wanted a pair but never got one, or just would like to wear them again!

I've gotten such a bug for an agere convention again... I think I might bring back my online con idea, with a much smaller scope. Here's what I'm thinking:

A one night, 5 hour event. Roughly 5 pm to 10 pm on a Saturday or Sunday

There would be a live event roughly every hour, including Cg/Reg mixer (where we play discord games to get to know each other), All about agere gear seminar, Arts and Crafts tutorial, Cook/bake along, and a movie watch party to cap off the night.

There would be an artist alley, where every vendor gets one post to advertise their wares and include where you can buy them/their contact info

Possibly an auction or two for certain agere items, with the profits going to a charity

There would be specially made activity sheets for the con, and various activities you can do at home

Finally, there would be an introduction channel, multiple chat channels, and a sharing channel for the activities

This would be a free event, but adults only.

It would be held in a discord server!

To be clear: this may not happen for a while! I am very busy this summer and I'm looking at a busy school year as well. When things settle down I will come back to this, or if you want to pick up the reigns for this project, let me know!!

This is in response to this post where I made a Cg Sun and Lil Moon Agere Board with lil headconnons bc I got inspired

Also sorry there's not much Moon... I uhhh don't have an excuse and I just realized that now. Sorry :3

- he's so high strung all the time, being smol is genuinely an escape for him. He's a carefree older toddler 3-6

- HE. LOVES. CRAFTS. (Supplies) paints, sequins, buttons, beads, twine, thread, glue, glitter, markers, crayons, pencils, you name it he's got a stach of it at his disposal at all times. Ready to make a *very pretty* mess hopefully on a piece of paper.

- he does his best to clean up after but there's usually a residue or a few markers that got left behind.

- he's kinda stubborn in a not bratty way.. ex: if he's hanging out with his favorite Glamrock, he never wants to leave! If he's building a block tower, he'll make the tallest one ever!! If he's got a crayon in his mouth and Moon tells him to spit it out, how can he? It's the best flavor!! That's a waste Moonie.. fiiiinneee :(

- he like to draw his friends and one time someone turned it around and said "imma draw YOU" it turned a playfull fight on who can draw who faster. (Side note, true story. I heard from friend after and I have his drawing if people wanna see it I'll ask him if it's okay I'll edit it in here)

- HES SO SILLY AND PLAYFUL. his favorite games are follow the leader *bonus points if the leader doesn't know they're the leader* he loves hide and seek too but sometimes he forgets to tell anyone that they're supposed to seek and then he gets sad

- he likes looking at balloons but hates when they make that gosh darn *balloon noises* they spook him when they pop too

- his favorite Glamrock is Monty. Full stop. No debate. No one's been able to get him to explain why, not even he knows, sometimes we just have favorites!

- no paci for him, he's a big boy!! Buuuutt... There's no shame in thumbs when he gets reeeeaaaalllllllyyyyyy sleepy and thinks no one's watching.

- speaking of: KEEP AN EYE ON HIM AT ALL TIMES!! Wether it's making a mess or climbing too high up on the jungle gym, if you don't keep an eye on him always he'll get up to something... He usually comes clean before anyone notices tho

- if you need him to sit still, GOOD FREAKING LUCK, but you may have some success with those ASMR slime videos. Don't let him watch too long tho because he may try to use the video as a tutorial.

- he absolutely loves those kids crafts kits you can buy at Walmart or target, never reads the instructions tho. It's usually just a fun time anyways, having a product at the end isn't necessary if he gets to be silly and make a mess.

~If this one feels more thorough than the lil Moon head cannons that's because it's a lot more accurate this time.. our alter Sun does regress sometimes and he's read though this for me to confirm he's okay with sharing and that's it's accurate! Some stuff that includes IRL friends have been made anonymous for their safety~

In your story could I ask what character/media it was? I would really like to find a series that has a canonical age regressor if you can remember ^^

yes it was riamu yumemi from idolmaster cinderella girls starlight stage! the game isn't in english but there are a lot of fan translations and such online and there is a way to download it outside of japan but it's pretty complicate imo.

there are some tutorials online, like for android you can download it with qooapp but for apple users it's harder. the game is event based and there's a lot of other characters so she isn't the main focus, but still is a cool game regardless. i've only been a fan of it through translations and gameplay vids for the last couple of years since i find the tutorial a bit overwhelming though :'3

but anyway she is a canon regressor but it's just not outright stated. with one of the parts i mentioned it later in this post but here is the link to the full video

here she is in a crib with bottles, diapers, a rattle, and pacifier. this was the one where i said they played it off as a joke and for the life of me i can't find a photo of where this was said?? but basically prior to this photo there was a reference to the movie midsommar where very graphic and dark stuff happens, and they parodied it. she was forced to witness a sacrifice ritual and afterwards she became so traumatized from what she saw that she regressed to a baby. she's flipping off the camera because after the events of what she saw she couldn't trust any adult (the person taking the picture was the producer/player which is an adult) which caused her to regress and cry.

she even calls her acquaintances mama and likes being comforted and taken care of by them.

she even uses baby talk sometimes and she also makes little noises that i personally headcanon as vocal stims but she says things like "yuck" and whines a lot. she also often repeats "no no no" in a whiney tone too and to me i see that as regressive behaviors, especially given she canonly regresses to 2-6.

and this part is just self explanatory. i can't put anymore screenshots because tumblr so be sure to watch the full version, but if you don't want to she gets so upset after realizing that shes so "childish" and not as mature as her peers as an adult that she regresses to a 6 years old.

it's really sad and i feel so bad for her because all she wants is just to be treated kindly/respected and seen as smart. she is an idol and she begs her fans to not say anything mean to her. usually idols are equipped for people trash talking them but she gets very sad from it. she's mentally ill and suffers a lot and i relate to her heavily especially with her age regression too. i know she is a a character but i still feel bad seeing her regression played off as a joke but yeah that's all. she's a good character.

but it's nice that people don't usually make fun of her for this reason. she gets drawn a lot with pacifiers and people call her a baby and stuff but she does have bad luck so she does get teased with that, but not really the regression stuff so it's nice to see that from a fandom seeing as agere tends to be stigmatized/mistaken for nsfw stuff sometimes

How to Make DIY Crinkle Plush Toy / DIY Stim Toy

Ciao lovelies! As I promised in my last post, I was working on making NEW Agere DIY’s for you all! So, the other day I was looking through my craft supplies, when I had an idea! I could make a tutorial on how to make DIY crinkle toys! This tutorial is fairly simple and fast- provided that you know how to sew. Though, you could hot-glue the parts where I sew. That much is up to you!

Felt in your choice of color

-          Sewing supplies (needle and thread)

-          Plastic shopping bags or stuffing

-          Crinkly plastic from old packaging

-          A pencil or chalk to draw the outline

-          Scissors

Here is how you make this DIY Crinkle Toy! 

First, draw the shape you want on the felt, and cut out two. I chose a heart because it’s fairly simple, but you could make this more complex if you wanted to.

 Next, sew together the two pieces, leaving a small gap open where you can put in the “stuffing.”

To finish this project, fill the toy with the stuffing of your choice (I used old plastic shopping bags). Then cut a piece of your crinkly plastic and place it inside the toy, against the felt. Then sew up your gap and that’s it!

This DIY is so super simple, but it makes for a great little project! You can even make a bunch of these for you and your friends!
