“A Child Conceived of the Flame”
I have nothing new to post bcs finals ABSOLUTELY DRAINED ME this semester. So here’s the final work for that October sketch last year. I wasn’t gonna post it cus I was planning on selling it as a print, but I gave up trying to set up a store :/ it’s like the internet really doesn’t want me to make money off art.
Anyways, Agnes my beloved 🙏✨
Had this idea a while ago bcs of all the parallels between the two messiahs, so I mixed in a little religious iconography for your feed today✨

"She asked me if I had a destiny. ...I don't really see myself as having much of a destiny. Hell, I'm not even sure I believe in destiny. ...So I told her this. She looked at me, with the same sadness I'd seen on her face before. "That must be nice," she said, and went back to staring into the sunset."

“She was a child and a person as much as she was a god. And we messed that right up.”
I don’t’ know if Agnes Montague counts as a blorbo but I haven’t been able to stop thinking about her so I had to draw her. I often see people draw her with blackened fingers, like they’ve been dipped in soot, and I know that she can’t be burned but I think her fingers would be more of a red, from being around heat so often. I also gave her a cute skirt and blouse since she was born in the 50s, and I don’t see enough art of her with that style of clothing.

Creeptober 26 - Hanging Tree
The Tower: MAG 008 - Burned Out
"People had always whispered about Agnes, but now the whispers got nasty. Nasty enough that when smoke was seen pouring out of the old Fielding house a week after little Henry disappeared, no-one did a thing. No-one phoned the fire brigade or tried to help. They just watched. Agnes must not have phoned for assistance either, as by the time the fire trucks arrived, there was nothing left to save.
Through it all, nobody saw any sign of life from within the building. No screaming, no movement, nothing but the roaring of the flames. When the fire was finally put out, they did find human remains, but it wasn’t Agnes, nor was it Henry White. The only body they found was that of Raymond Fielding. All that was left was a badly-charred skeleton, missing its right hand."

So uh, Agnes Montague fan art 🥰 I honestly don’t really like how it turned out, the dress doesn’t really look right but thats probably cause I’ve been staring at it for 3 hours so I’m gonna let my eyes rest and see if I like it more another time lol :,)
