I was looking for animal poses on Pinterest and found someone… awfully familiar.

Ah, I've seen this one! That's a silken windhound. Most sighthound breeds are more or less ancient, but silken is new, developed in the USA in the late 1980's, so they're far too recent to fit Vasco's and Machete's setting. They're very pretty though, and sometimes give off strong Machete energy, like this specific individual.

listen, Foul Legacy can tell when you've got something tucked away- he can HEAR it rattling around in there even if other people can't. at first he thinks that he's imagining it, but he almost chokes when he promptly yank off a limb and pull out some mora, crystalline eye trained on your hand as you cheerfully hand the money over without a pause. he coughs and chitters once you're alone, worriedly poking and prodding at where you reattached whatever you pulled off until you reassure him that you're totally fine. Legacy breathes a sigh of relief- and immediately gives you a sulky glare. so THAT'S what that sound was! he thought he was losing his mind! no, turns out you're just really good at muffling the noise, and it's only his sensitive hearing as an Abyssal beast that could pick up on it. he huffs and pouts, but relents when you raise a hand and scritch behind his horns, unable to keep his wings from fluttering blissfully

he won't admit it to ANYONE, but Legacy starts giving you stuff to store inside too. you go for a lot of walks together, and he tends to pick up any interesting rocks or leaves or shells that he likes, and well, his claws get full eventually! it starts with one, then two, then three, and soon you're rattling faintly as you walk. at this point you've just started keeping your hand unattached in case Legacy has anything else he wants to give you. once you're home you carefully remove each and every trinket, putting them on the floor for him to sort out with much glee. you can help if you want! he'd love that

Legacy also admittedly gives you rocks or acorns to store specifically so you can jump around and annoy Ajax with the rattling when he transforms back. all he needs to do is give you a specific look filled with mischief and amusement- his "treacherous" face, as Ajax calls it- and you catch on and give him the same look in return. the Harbinger is less than thrilled for having to deal with you being a human-shaped maraca, but you always eventually stop and show him the items you and Legacy gathered that day. Ajax likes shiny things, too

“Alright, babe! I hope you’re ready for movie night!”

You turn your head from your spot on the couch to look at Ajax as he bursts in through the door. You smile upon seeing him, it only growing when you see the bags in his hands.

“Got everything?” you ask as you stand up, turning the tv on as he sets the bags on the table in front of the couch.

He scoffs at the question. “Uh yeah. What do you think I am? Some kind of amateur?” he sasses. You set the remote down and put your hands up in defense.

“Alright, alright, Mr. Sassy-Pants. Show me what you got then,” you reply with a smirk.

You see, once every month, you and Childe make sure you have time spared in your busy schedules to have movie night. It’s not just any movie night though. You go all out.

“Hope you’re ready cause I went just a little overboard,” he warns. You raise your brow at him but make no comment, patiently waiting for him to pull things out.

“Okay. First up, the jammies.” Upon saying this, he whips out the new pjs he got you both. You snort once he unfolds them to show you.

He got you matching Hello Kitty pajamas. “They’re beautiful, Ajax,” you coo, pretending to wipe a tear from your eye.

“Fuck yeah they are!” he cheers, throwing your pair at you. You start to pull them on while he pulls out the next items. “Got all the junk food, of course.” At this, he pulls out all sorts of different bags and containers. All pink Starbursts, strawberry Trolli’s, Nerds, Blow Pops, smoothies Skittles, pink frosted cookies, pink sodas, the list goes on.

“Will we blow up the toilet? Probably. Is it worth it? Absolutely!” he shouts. He then pulls out a big blanket, unfolding it as he did the pajamas to show off the pattern. It’s cow patterned but instead of black and white, it’s pink and white.

“I’m starting to think I know what the movie is…” you say with a smirk.

He shakes his head as he throws the blanket at you. “Nuh-uh! There’s no way you would’ve guessed it already!” he denies, but he’s grinning from ear to ear. He is making it pretty obvious.

“Right,” you say sarcastically, placing your hand onto his hip.

“Next up!” he shouts before dipping both hands into a bag now. He then whips out face masks and nail polish. All pink, of course.

“How lovely,” you comment as you take them from him to look at the color of the nail polish and to see what’s in the face mask.

“And now, the moment you’ve all been waiting for! The dramatic reveal that is totally going to leave you shocked!” he declares, staring deep into your eyes with his hand in a bag. You start to smirk again as you stare right back at him, waiting for the oh so big reveal.

After several seconds of just staring at each other, building ‘suspense,’ he whips the rented DVD out. “Tada!” he screams as he drops the bag and holds the front of the movie towards you for you to read the title.

Barbie.

“Oh yeah. Totally didn’t see that coming,” you pretend to reassure, dropping back down onto the couch. He pouts at you as he starts to pull his own pajamas on.

“You could at least pretend to be surprised…” he grumbles.

You chuckle at that before clearing your throat, waiting for him to look at you before responding. You then give a dramatic gasp and slap a hand over your chest.

“Oh my fucking god. Barbie? Are you serious? I never would’ve guessed that in a million years! Ajax! This is-“ He cuts you off with a yell as he playfully tackles you. You two wrestle for a moment before he pins you down onto the couch.

“Oh shut up!” he whines. He then gives up, laying down on top of you and hiding his face into your neck. You let out an ‘oof’ at the added weight before starting to giggle, wrapping your arms around his neck and carding your hands through his hair.

“I really am excited though, baby. Thank you for doing all of this. You did a good job,” you say softly, kissing the top of his head.

He preens under the praise, raising his head to look down at you. “Well, of course I did a good job. It’s me we are talking about, after all.” You roll your eyes at his ego but let it go in favor of kissing him.

After sharing a sweet kiss, he pulls away to stand up to put the movie in. “Enough mackin! We gotta get this bad boy goin!” he declares which causes you to giggle.

Cramps

Pairing: Wednesday x Enid

Warnings: Periods, soft Wednesday

Summary: Enid gets her period. Wednesday helps her.

It was meant to be a normal day for Enid. She woke up with stomach pains however. She decided to ignore it, thinking it was just going to be hunger. She stretched as she got up, already seeing Wednesday was gone. She smiled as she knew her girlfriend would be at the Hummer’s Hut. That’s when she grabbed her skirt, shirt and jacket. Quickly changing, she slipped her shoes on and left. She caught up with Ajax, Divina and Yoko as she was joining the conversation almost immediately. Yoko looked at her weirdly then shrugged it off. She just could smell blood was all, but figured that Enid knew. She wouldn’t embarrass her, she refused to.

They were soon sat down at a bench, all the girls starting to eat their food. That’s when Eugene and Wednesday were coming along, discussing Hive D and how the queen wasn’t looking too good and ways to help her. Enid half transformed, her ears and tail coming out before she launched at Wednesday and clung onto her, ignoring the stomach pain.

“Sinclair, babe, do you need a hug back?” Wednesday asked, looking at her girlfriend stoically. Enid was wagging her tail as she was nodding. “Please,” she spoke. Wednesday then hugged her back with a smile. Wednesday soon picked her up and took her to the bench, kissing her cheek as she was soon starting to look at Eugene as they continued to eat, talking. Enid just listened as she talked with Yoko, Divina and Ajax too. Soon the bell rang, and Wednesday stood up. “I will meet you in botany,” Wednesday spoke, kissing her gently. Enid waved bye as they both soon left their own ways.

It was 2 hours later, and Enid was still wondering why she had a stomach cramp. It shoul’ve been gone by then, but no, it didn’t and it was getting worse. Enid was thinking about why it was like that, before it hurt her. Sure, class had just started but it was needed. She put her hand up, waiting for Ms Connary to notice her. “Yes Enid?” she asked.

“Can I go to the bathroom please?” she asked politely, and looked the teacher in the eyes to show it was an emergency. “Of course you can,” she spoke. Enid quickly got up before she was rushing to the bathroom.

She then went over to the bathroom, and locked the door after checking all the stalls were empty. That was when she went into the bathroom, and checked. Her worst fears were revealed. She had started her period, and she didn’t have anything for her cramps or for her underwear. She was thinking of what to do before she texted Wednesday. 

‘Emergency. In bathroom. Started period and I need a new skirt (don’t have any so get some trousers please!), some new underwear and a few pads please!’ was the text. It was immediately seen, which she was thankful for. 

‘Doing it now babe. Need some water and medicine?’ was the response. Enids eyes watered, her heart fluttered. She really loved this girl. 

‘Yes please. I love you’ Enid texted.

‘I love you too’ was the response before Wednesday was rushing off.

Soon there was a knock on the bathroom door, before Wednesday picked the lock, walked in then locked the door again. “Babe?” Enid called out. “Yes cara mia, it is me,” she spoke and went to the stall, bending down silently before pushing the pads in. “May you come out so I can hand you your clothes?” she asked. Enid, embarrassed, pulled her underwear up before she opened the door a crack. Wednesday had a look of love before she was handing over the clothes then sat on the counter outside. Enid soon walked out after 5 minutes and washed her hands before she hugged Wednesday. Wednesday proceeded to hand her over some medication too, which the wolf gladly took.

“Thank you, you are a lifesaver,” she mumbled out in her neck. Wednesday smiled and kissed her. “It’s because I love you… now I have got a hot water bottle for you upstairs and I also got you biscuits and chocolate and skittles,” she spoke. “So want to cuddle? We can watch whatever you want my love,” Wednesday spoke. Enid grinned happily and was nodding.

“I love you so fucking much,” Enid spoke. Wednesday chuckled and kissed her gently before she went stoic and was unlocking the door. “Come on, let us go mon loup,” Wednesday comforted. Enid nodded, happy to skip for the rest of the day with the love of her life.
