i think the gun devil will be back in a hybrid way because it seems all the weapon devils fuse with humans. the gun devil reads as a wild scared animal to me in a way not as a actively malicious force in a less cute way like pochita’s true form. and with aki’s design with his topknot being suggestive of a handguns firing hammer and name referencing an ak-47 and becoming a gun fiend. i am all in on my own theory of aki being a hybrid but he is going to come back different and its going to break denjis heart.

BUT THATS JUST A THEORY!!!

TORTURE
Nastka is not just a man who gets things done; he’s a man who ensures they’re done his way—brutal, efficient, and leaving a lasting impression. His love for using hammers and drills is as infamous as it is terrifying. These tools, which most would associate with construction or repair, become instruments of agony in his hands.
The hammer, solid and unyielding, is his preferred tool for delivering raw, blunt force. It’s a weapon that suits his personality—straightforward, direct, and incredibly effective. When Nastka brings down the hammer, bones shatter, and the sickening crack reverberates through the room, a sound that signals the beginning of an ordeal that many would prefer not to survive. Each swing is calculated, designed to break not just the body but the spirit, leaving his victims with a pain that lingers long after the bruises fade.
The drill, on the other hand, is Nastka’s choice when he seeks something more precise, more personal. The high-pitched whine of the drill bit spinning is a precursor to a world of hurt that few can comprehend. Nastka enjoys the control the drill offers, the ability to inflict pain in small, devastating increments. It’s a psychological weapon as much as a physical one—slow, torturous, and undeniably effective in breaking down even the most hardened of enemies.
But Nastka’s brutality isn’t reserved for his enemies alone. He has been known to turn his sadistic methods on his own men when they fail him or cross a line they shouldn’t. This ruthlessness ensures loyalty, not out of respect, but out of sheer, unadulterated fear. His men know that a mistake under Nastka’s watch could lead to the same treatment he dishes out to his foes—there is no favoritism, no mercy.
And then there are the cigars, another of Nastka’s twisted trademarks. He doesn’t just smoke them; he incorporates them into his gruesome repertoire. The cherry-red tip of a lit cigar is more than a symbol of power—it’s a tool for inflicting searing pain. Whether it’s a burn pressed to flesh, leaving behind a permanent scar, or the threat of something worse, the cigar is Nastka’s way of adding a final, personal touch to his torturous rituals.
In the dark world Nastka inhabits, his methods are as feared as they are legendary. He’s a man who understands that terror is an art, and with his hammers, drills, and cigars, he’s painted a masterpiece of horror that few will ever forget.

And Sorry For Delayed Post.. We're Planning to add another Segment For VVE in format of E-Magazines. for improvement of our Bureau. for now.. stay Tuned
Pistols The CZ 75 The Member Of Famous "The Wonder 9" Is Here CZ75 is a semi-automatic pistol made by Česká zbrojovka Uherský Brod (CZUB) in the Czech Republic. First introduced in 1975, it is one of the original "wonder nines" featuring a staggered-column magazine, all-steel construction, and a hammer forged barrel. It has a good reputation amongst pistol shooters for quality and versatility at a reasonable price, and is widely distributed throughout the world. It is also the most common gun in the Czech Republic.
We Covering 4 Famous Version of this Gun which are CZ75B (Second-generation CZ 75 with internal firing pin safety, squared and serrated trigger guard, and ring hammer. which fire in Semi Auto Mode), CZ75A (The Machine Pistol Version of CZ75, That Popularized by Grand Theft Auto 4:The Lost And Damned & Counter Strike:Global Offensive), CZ SP01 (New generation of CZ 75 SP-01 pistol especially adapted according to  suggestions as proposed by users from Law Enforcement, Military and  Police communities worldwide, with an additional input from the Team CZ  shooters Angus Hobdell and Adam Tyc. Based on the SP-01, it has no  firing pin block resulting in improved trigger travel. It also features a  slightly reshaped grip and safety, a “weaker” recoil spring for easier  loading, and fiber optic front sight and tactical “Novak style” rear sight.) & CZ P-07 (The CZ P-07 DUTY is a compact, polymer-framed CZ 75 variant notable for  having a redesigned trigger mechanism.  The redesign has reduced the  number of parts as well as improved the trigger pull.  Chambered in 9mm  Luger and .40 S&W, the CZ P-07 DUTY also includes the ability to  change the manual safety to a decocking lever and vice versa through an  exchange of parts.)
ASSAULT Rifles 1.SA Vz-58  Assault Rifle The Samopal vzor 1958 (submachine gun, model of 1958) was the  standard assault rifle of the Czechoslovak army from the late 1950s and until the dissolution of the Socialist Republic Of Czechslovakia in the 1993. At the present time the  SA Vz.58 is still used by the Czech and Slovak armies, as well as sold  for export in some quantities. The SA Vz.58 saw not much of real combat,  so it is hard to judge how it stakes up against the most known  contemporary rivals, like the Soviet / Russian AK-47 or the US M16.  But the overall quality, fit and finish of this rifle is excellent.  This rifle had been designed by the Czech arms designer Jiří Čermák,  under the project codename "KOŠTĚ", or "Broom", in English. Development  began in January 1956, and the rifle was adopted for service only 2  years later, in 1958. The rifle was manufactured by the state-owned arms  factory "Česká zbrojovka", located in the town of Uherský Brod (CZ-UB).
The Czech army planned to replace the SA Vz.58 with the newest CZ-2000 and the CZ-805 rifle system, chambered for 5.56mm NATO ammunition, but the financial difficulties severely slowed down this process.
While  SA Vz.58 strongly resembles externally the famous Kalashnikov AK-47 assault rifle, but internally it is entirely different and of original and well-thought out design. We Covering 2 Famous Version of this Gun which are Vz. 58 P which is Standard fixed stock (casually called "pádlo" (paddle) by Czech soldiers) & Vz. 58 V: Metal folding stock version for vehicle crew and airborne units. (casually called "kosa" (scythe) by Czech soldiers) 1.CZ-805 BREN Assault Rifle The CZ 805 assault rifle was first introduced to the public in 2009, as a possible future replacement for aged SA Vz-58 assault rifles still in use by Czech Armed Forces. According to the recent news, early in 2010 the CZ 805 was selected as a next standard military rifle for Czech armed forces, with production contract issued to the famous Czech arms factory CZ-UB in the city of Uhersky Brod. The CZ 805 assault rifle is of modular, multi-caliber design, with  aluminum alloy upper receiver and polymer lower receiver / fire control  unit. The magazine housing is a separate detachable unit, which can be  replaced in the field in the course of caliber change. CZ 805 also  features quick-change barrels, allowing to change calibers and barrel  lengths according to the mission profile (in each caliber there there  are short carbine barrel, standard barrel and long "marksman" or "squad  automatic" barrel). The basic action uses fairy common piston-operated  gas action with manual gas regulator, and a rotating bolt locking. For  each proposed caliber, there is a separate bolt with appropriate  dimensions. Fire control unit includes ambidextrous safety/fire selector switch,  which permits single shots, 2-round bursts and full automatic fire.  Charging handle can be installed on either side of the gun, depending on  user preferences. Feed is from detachable box magazines, which are inserted into  detachable magazine housing. In standard configuration, the CZ 805 will  use proprietary 5.56x45 caliber 30-round magazines made of translucent  polymer. Other magazine housings will allow use of Standard STANAG AR Magazine or H&K G36 5.56mm magazines, as well as various 7.62X39 Soviet M43 and 6.8x43 magazines. CZ 805 assault rifle is fitted with integral Picatinny rail on the top  of receiver, with additional rails running on the sides and the bottom  of the forend. Rifle will be issued with folding iron sights, and will  also accept a wide variety of additional sighting equipment (red-dot or  telescope day sights, night sights, lasers etc.). Rifle is equipped with  side-folding buttstock, which is adjustable for length of pull, and can  be completely removed if maximum compactness is required. Additional  equipment also includes new, specially designed 40mm underbarrel grenade  launcher CZ G 805 and also a new knife-bayonet. Sub Machine Guns 1.SA VZ.23 The CZ Model 25 (properly, Sa 25 or Sa vz. 48b/samopal vz. 48b – samopal vzor 48 výsadkový, "submachine gun model year 1948 para") was perhaps the best known of a series of Czechoslovak designed submachine guns introduced in 1948. There were four generally very similar submachine  guns in this series: the Sa 23, Sa 24, Sa 25, and Sa 26. The primary  designer was Jaroslav Holeček (September, 15 1923–October, 12 1997), chief engineer of the Česká zbrojovka Uherský Brod arms factory. Despite The Weapon was SA.26 which fired 7.62×25mm Tokarev. it basically still a same gun despends on Storytelling 2.Škorpion vz. 61 The Škorpion vz. 61 is a Czechoslovak 7.65 mm submachine gun developed in 1959 by Miroslav Rybář (1924–1970) and produced under the official designation Samopal vzor 61 ("submachine gun model 1961") by the Česká zbrojovka arms factory in Uherský Brod. Although it was developed for use with security forces and special forces, the weapon was also accepted into service with the Czechoslovak Army, as a personal sidearm for lower-ranking army staff, vehicle drivers, armored vehicle personnel and special forces. We Covering 2 Famous Version of this Gun which are Famous Vz. 61 which chambered in .32 ACP & Vz. 68  Which Chambered with more popular 9mm Cartridge, despite the First was more popular than former. 3.Scorpion EVO 3 is a 9mm submachine gun manufactured by Česká zbrojovka Uherský Brod. The EVO 3 designation denotes that the firearm is a third generation of CZ's line of small submachine guns started by the Škorpion vz. 61.  Skorpion Evo 3 evolved from a Slovakian prototype submachine gun called the Laugo. Chambered in 9×19mm Parabellum, the Scorpion EVO 3 is a light weight, compact submachine gun designed to be easily maneuvered in constrained spaces. The A1 variant features a select fire switch, giving the operator the choice of 'safe,' semi-automatic, three-round burst, or fully automatic fire, while the S1's switch only features 'safe' and semi-automatic fire. The standard version comes equipped with a folding, adjustable and fully removable stock for easy transport. The hand guard is lined with multiple Picatinny Rails for the addition of attachments such as grips, sights, flashlights and lasers. MISC CAA Roni +CZ P-09 Carbine Version of CZ P-09 Which combined by CAA Roni Pistol Carbine Conversion Kit.

About time!
AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — Texas Gov. Greg Abbott issued a full pardon Thursday for a former U.S. Army sergeant convicted of murder for fatally shooting an armed demonstrator in 2020 during nationwide protests against police violence and racial injustice. Abbott announced the pardon shortly after the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles announced a unanimous recommendation that Daniel Perry be pardoned and have his firearms rights restored. Perry had been in state prison on a 25-year sentence since his 2023 conviction in the killing of Garrett Foster, and was released shortly after the pardon, a prison spokeswoman said.***
You might think that Foster was some innocent African American who threatened no one. Sorry. Wrong! He was a white man who pointed an AK-47 at Sgt Perry. https://www.texastribune.org/2021/07/01/garrett-foster-indicted-murder-daniel-perry-austin-protester/

Hm, I wonder about his immigration status....
Eduardo Sarabia, 40, was arrested on Monday and is being held without the possibility of bail after the DA's office filed two felony counts of forcible rape and forcible oral copulation.  https://www.cbsnews.com/losangeles/news/serial-rapist-arrested-for-2-alleged-assaults-in-angeles-national-forest-investigators-seeking-additional-victims/
He kidnapped and raped one woman on May 12, and another on May 13.
Sarabia’s white 2015 Ford Transit van — described as a “rape dungeon on wheels” — had no windows and was “disgustingly outfitted for rape,” sources told Fox 11. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/crime/serial-rapist-illegal-migrant-attacked-woman-in-rape-dungeon-on-wheels-cops/ar-BB1mwvj8
You can read about it on the Sheriff's tweet or at cbs above. But if you're curious about his immigration status, you will find 0 about it at either of those sites or on mainstream media in general.
If you go to Fox or NYPost, then you can learn that he is an illegal immigrant.
BTW, where in this post do I say that all or even many illegal immigrants are bad people?

An abortion of justice you can't talk about because the Brits censor it
→ Censorship of the British “baby killer”: Lucy Letby murdered seven babies. Or at least, the former NHS nurse was convicted last August of murdering them, after one of England’s longest ever murder trials. But her case could make history again—as one of the biggest miscarriages of justice in British history. Last Monday, The New Yorker published a story that very credibly argues she should not have been found guilty. The trouble is, no one in the UK is allowed to read it. I am writing from London, where anyone who clicks the article gets an awkwardly jaunty redirect notice. When I first saw it, I assumed it was a mistake, but then rumors started to fly that it had been “geo-blocked” in the UK—later confirmed by a statement from the magazine, which blamed a “court order restricting press coverage of Lucy Letby’s ongoing trial.” With the Streisand effect in full force, Brits fired up VPNs and set their virtual locations to random American towns. Thirteen thousand words later, it seemed possible that Letby could have been one more conscientious but chronically overwhelmed nurse in our crumbling National Health Service being blamed for failures that weren’t hers. The prosecution leaned heavily on the fact that Letby was present for a disproportionate number of unexpected infant deaths—giving in to a well-known statistical fallacy. (What if she was just always asked to look after the sickest babies because she was the best nurse? One of her colleagues actually said her colleagues would “thank God” when she arrived, “because she’s really good in a crisis.”)  Why was the story blocked for UK readers? Because in Britain there’s a complete ban on any media activity that can prejudice a jury—and Letby is awaiting the retrial of one charge. In Letby’s case, the judge granted an “unusual” number of additional reporting restrictions. Journalists covering the trial described it as “extremely difficult for people to follow.” But it was easy to demonize Letby, to call her a “baby killer” in headlines, as long as it was in quotation marks, or after the word alleged.  If there’s one thing Letby’s defenders and detractors agree on, it’s that Brits deserve to know more about the case. Last week, a Member of Parliament argued that the block on the New Yorker story—which he said raises “enormous concerns” about her conviction—exists “in defiance of open justice.” Meanwhile, a lawyer representing the families of Letby’s victims said that “grossly offensive” conspiracy theories about the case were “distressing,” and compared his clients to the relatives of American school shooting victims. His solution feels American, too: he recommended that proceedings be livestreamed. —Freya Sanders*** https://www.thefp.com/p/martin-gurri-eli-lake-michael-cohen

Fat Leonard cases
SAN DIEGO — A federal judge on Tuesday dismissed the felony convictions of five retired military officers who had admitted to accepting bribes from a Malaysian contractor nicknamed “Fat Leonard” in one of the Navy’s biggest corruption cases. The dismissals came at the request of the government — not the defense — citing prosecutorial errors. Retired U.S. Navy officers Donald Hornbeck, Robert Gorsuch and Jose Luis Sanchez, and U.S. Marine Corps Col. Enrico DeGuzman had all admitted to accepting bribes from defense contractor Leonard Francis, nicknamed “Fat Leonard.”*** The three pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of disclosing information on Tuesday. The judge also dismissed the entire case against U.S. Navy officer Stephen Shedd. Their defense lawyers could not be immediately reached for comment. It marked the latest setback to the government’s yearslong efforts in going after dozens of military officials tied to Francis, who pleaded guilty to offering more than $500,000 in cash bribes, along with other gifts and wild sex parties in Southeast Asia, to Navy officials, defense contractors and others. The scheme allowed him to bilk the maritime service out of at least $35 million by getting commanders to redirect ships to ports he controlled and overcharging for services, according to the prosecution. Francis owned and operated Singapore-based Glenn Defense Marine Asia Ltd., which supplied food, water and fuel to U.S. Navy vessels. He was arrested in 2013 in a sting operation in San Diego. Prosecutors said in legal filings outlining their request for Tuesday’s dismissals that the action does not mean the defendants did not commit the charged crimes but because information was withheld from the defense and other mistakes were made, they wanted to ensure justice was served fairly. In 2022, Judge Janis Sammartino had ruled the former lead federal prosecutor committed “flagrant misconduct” by withholding information from defense lawyers. In September, the felony convictions of four former Navy officers were also vacated. The four men pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor and agreed to pay a $100 fine each.*** https://www.navytimes.com/news/your-navy/2024/05/21/felony-convictions-of-5-retired-officers-dismissed-in-fat-leonard-case/
The case was a major black eye for the Navy. Decisions on where ships are serviced should be based on value, not on cozy relationships with fat bastards. Moreover, the Navy threw many people under the ship in order to protect the highest ranking officers. Many of the defendants had been told to attend Fat Leonard's parties.
Even worse, the prosecutions were debacles. Prosecutors misbehaved atrociously. DoJ let Fat Leonard flee the U.S. to Venezuela. The whole case was a DoJ fiasco.

Turns out crime is only popular with criminals.
Mike Schmidt, the district attorney for Multnomah County in Oregon who was criticized for being too “soft on crime,” lost his primary race to one of his own deputy prosecutors. Schmidt was defeated by Nathan Vasquez, who garnered about 54% of the vote as of Wednesday evening. Schmidt’s defeat could serve as a bellwether for other progressive district attorneys across the country as some major cities grapple with rising crime rates.  “The voters have made it clear that they are ready to take our county in a new and safer direction,” Vasquez said in a Facebook post Wednesday celebrating the victory.*** https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/campaigns/3012631/portland-oregon-progressive-district-attorney-loses-election

TFI 19: FIREY'S HOMICIDE
I'm a big fan of total fiery Island I also love BFDI a lot my favorite TFI characters are fiery and pencil there was a lost episode 19 when I was scrolling on YouTube here's the story about when it happened!
THE PASTA
I was scrolling on YouTube and I found a strange video uploaded to Jacknjenify it's called "TFI 19: FIREY'S HOMICIDE (THE LOST EPISODE) I didn't know where this is going but I got some popcorn and soda and I clicked on it
The video started with no intro that's strange it started with firey standing all alone really mad and he said: "I always hate it when I get eliminated I am going to kill everyone once and for all"
He Takes Out A Knife And Walked Up To Pencil‚ then she said to firey: "Why do you have a knife in your hand?" Firey Stabbed Pencil a lot of ketchup came out of her
"AHHH WHAT ARE YOU DOING" Screemed Pencil
Firey didn't say anything and stabbed her twice more making more ketchup come out then pencil died and firey laughed demonicly
Then it showed a montage of firey killing people in gruesome ways. Here's how everyone died:
Blocky: Broke appart with ketchup coming out
Bubble: Popped! ketchup and organs came flying out.
Coiny: Crushed Ketchup and guts squirted everywhere
Eraser: Shot with an AK-47 ketchup and guts came bursting out
Flower: Ripped in a million pieces leaving ketchup and burned
Golf ball: Smashed by a hammer with ketchup coming out
Ice Cube: Eyes gouged out and throat slit with ketchup spraying out
Match: Top part sliced off leaving ketchup spill all over (She deserved it for flirting over fiery, Match was my worst BFDI character but firey is the best BFDI character‚ also my happiness ended)
Rocky: thrown in a blender and blended into ketchup
Snowball: Melted in a furnaces ketchup covered the cement
Spongy: ripped in in half by fiery's bare hands with ketchup coming out
Teardrop: Stabbed with a mezzaluna leaving ketchup and organs coming out
Tennis ball: shot with a bazooka ketchup and organs came bursting out
Woody: skined with a chainsaw leaving ketchup guts and organs
After the madness it showed a time card saying "10 hours later"then it showed firey crying he said: "What have I done? I killed everyone I knew!" then he took out a bucket of water and dumped it on himself‚ and firey then died then it went to Black for 14 seconds the picture showed up for 10 seconds the horrifies me
It was a picture of firey on a black background but what made it so horrified is that he had black eyes with red pupils His skin was reddish and was frowning‚ i was totally shocked!
The episode ended after that
I can't believe I saw this coming but the episode still gave me nightmares. I talked about it with my friends, and I soon got over it. I also had slight freak out from the scene with pencil being killed by firey
If you see the episode anywhere don't watch it!!!!!

Crafting dead map city

(unless you fell in a ditch, cuz then I feel bad for not covering it. Well, yes I do recommend you play with these 2 rules if you want to have fun NEVER go on peaceful and don't go in any other gamemode than adventure. If you want to go in creative mode and cheat yourself out of having a great time or going on peaceful and destroying the mood and suspense to the game. Look for loot, craft base parts and fend off endless masses of zombies.
#Crafting dead map city mod
And yeah you might be asking, so theirs no rules! Well yes their is, have fun and do what you want. Crafting Dead is a Multiplayer based mod that puts you into a Zombie Apocalypse. Play with friends! Most shelters contain 4 beds or 2 bunkbeds. Once you find your way out of the hospital it is up to you to decide what you want to do or where you want to live around the island. Ok there is a resistance! And don't worry about running out of ammo because the resistance contains of working shops using scoreboard! This map is not like most adventure maps.
#Crafting dead map city install
There is some bluntly obvious and some well hidden. Play Modded Minecraft Maps from our library of one-click install server. Find a shelter hiden through out the city. You should be PLAYING ON HARD and you want to avoid the zombies. Once you get out of the hospital it is up to you what you want to do. You just woke up after a tragic creeper explosion at your camp in the mountains. It is storming and you need to find a way out. You have nothing except for what you find. You wake up with the lights flickering in an abandoned hospital.
#Crafting dead map city pro
If you are a pro when it comes to plugins and can even code a little bit I have a job for you!!! Go here: If u want a much more updated version of the map or to try out for the team GO HERE: This hardly seems a worthwhile endeavor.It is not close to finished but go on and fly around or actually play i do not care and tell me what you guys, the players, think needs improved on. *It is possible to create a Nail Bat from a Baseball Bat and some Nails, for a $100 fee. Kill plenty of zombies starting in RiverSide (city) then battling through the Back Alleys, over a Draw Bridge, at a Military Outpost finding yourself at a Water Plant and during the escape at the Subway Station. Students in the school of Scientific Minimalism should focus their attention on the course work and worry about acquiring these weapons after they have achieved their post-graduate degrees. However, they are long-term goals rather than must-have necessities. The new crafted weapons can be very useful in the White Zones northeast of Secronom Bunker and, especially, in the Wastelands. A student would then take these items to the new Crafting section in the Outposts and spend a fee ranging from $500,000 to $3,000,000 to create the crafted version.* Thus, to create an X-MP5 submachine gun, a student would need an MP5 submachine gun, one X-MP5 blueprint, five X-MP5 parts, and three Devil's Hearts.
#Crafting dead map city plus
Students who wish to avoid the expense can hunt the inner city Devil Hounds, which spawn once every few days.Ĭrafting these items typically requires one blueprint, five parts, and three Devil's Hearts (sometimes five), plus the original version of the item to be crafted. They can be purchased in the marketplace, but they are extremely expensive. These items are roughly equivalent to X-Dusk equipment - which is to say, they are top of the line. It is now possible to craft specialty weapons and a special "Devil's Implant" by using items looted from a new type of boss, an inner city Devil Hound.Ĭrafted items include the Santa Slayer (blade), the X-Hammer (blunt), X-Python (pistol), X-Garand (rifle), X-MP5, X-Mannberg (shotgun), X-M79 (grenade launcher), X-AK 47 (assault rifle), and the Devil's Implant (3% damage reduction, 5% speed increase). Zombie Hunter is a little bit late responding to this development, which was posted on the Dead Frontier Wiki on Mabut which actually took place in December 2018.

• STG-44 Automatic Rifle
The StG 44 (abbreviation of Sturmgewehr 44, "assault rifle 44") is a German selective-fire assault rifle also known as the MP 43 and MP 44 developed during World War 2.
MP 43, MP 44, and StG 44 were different designations for what was essentially the same rifle with minor updates in production. The variety in nomenclatures resulted from the complicated bureaucracy in Nazi Germany. StG is an abbreviation of Sturmgewehr. According to one account, the name was chosen personally by Adolf Hitler for propaganda reasons. The rifle was chambered for the 7.92×33mm Kurz cartridge. This shorter version of the German standard (7.92×57mm) rifle round, in combination with the weapon's selective-fire design, provided a compromise between the controllable firepower of a submachine gun at close quarters with the accuracy and power of a Karabiner 98k bolt-action rifle at intermediate ranges. Studies had shown that few combat engagements occurred at more than 300 metres (330 yd) and the majority within 200 metres (220 yd). Full-power rifle cartridges were excessive for most uses for the average soldier. Only a trained specialist, such as a sniper, or soldiers equipped with machine guns, which fired multiple rounds at a known or suspected target, could make full use of the standard rifle round's range and power. The British were critical of the weapon, saying that the receiver could be bent and the bolt locked up by the mere act of knocking a leaning rifle onto a hard floor. A late-war U.S. assessment derided the StG-44 as "mediocre", "bulky" and "unhandy", declaring it incapable of sustained automatic fire and prone to jamming, though the report accepted that its accuracy was "excellent for a weapon of its type".
In the late 19th century, small-arms cartridges had become able to fire accurately at long distances. Jacketed bullets propelled by smokeless powder were lethal out to 2,000 metres (2,200 yd). This was beyond the range a shooter could engage a target with open sights, as at that range a man-sized target would be completely blocked by the front sight blade. Only units of riflemen firing by volley could hit grouped targets at those ranges. That fighting style was taken over by the widespread introduction of machine guns, which made use of these powerful cartridges to suppress the enemy at long range. Rifles remained the primary infantry weapon, but in some forces were seen as a secondary or support weapon, backing up the machine guns. In early 1918, Hauptmann (Captain) Piderit, part of Gewehrprüfungskommission ("Small Arms Examination Committee") of the German General Staff in Berlin, submitted a paper arguing for the introduction of an intermediate round in the German Army with a suitable firearm. He pointed out that firefights rarely took place beyond 800 metres (870 yd), about half the 2 km (1.2 mi) sight line range of the 7.92×57mm round from a Mauser Gewehr 98 rifle or less for MG 08 machine gun. The German Army showed no interest, as it already had the MP 18 submachine gun firing 9 mm pistol rounds and did not want to create a new cartridge.
At the start of World War II, German infantry were equipped with weapons comparable to those of most other military forces. A typical infantry unit was equipped with a mix of bolt-action rifles and some form of light, medium or a general-purpose machine guns. A problem with this mix was that the standard rifles were too large to be effectively used by mechanized and armored forces, where they were difficult to maneuver in the cramped spaces of an armored vehicle. During the invasion of the Soviet Union, increasing numbers of semi-automatic Tokarev SVT-38 and SVT-40s were used by the Red Army – mostly elite units and non-commissioned officers – while some Soviet rifle companies were completely equipped with PPSh-41 submachine guns. After experiencing high volumes of automatic fire from these weapons, German commanders re-thought their small arms requirements. The German army had been attempting to introduce semi-automatic weapons such as the Gewehr 41, but these proved troublesome in service, and production was insufficient to meet requirements. By 1941, it was becoming clear that action needed to be taken. Although various experimental rounds had been developed to one degree or another by this point, the Army instead decided to select yet a new design, the Polte 8×33mm Kurzpatrone ("short cartridge"). This used a spitzer bullet and basic cartridge design of the standard 7.92×57mm Mauser rifle cartridge, cutting down the cartridge from the original 7.92×57mm Mauser to 7.92×33mm Kurz.
Contracts for rifles firing the 7.92×33mm Kurz round were issued to both Walther and Haenel (whose design group was headed by Hugo Schmeisser), were asked to submit prototype weapons under the name Maschinenkarabiner 1942 ("machine carbine") or MKb 42. Both designs were similar, using a gas-operated action, with selective fire. Since both rifles shared the title of Maschinenkarabiner 42 the letters (H) and (W) were added to differentiate the two. The MKb 42(H) along with the less successful MKb 42(W) were predecessors of the later MP 43, MP 44, StG 44. The majority of the MP 43's features came from the MKb 42(H), with the hammer firing system and closed bolt coming from the MKb 42(W). As work moved forward to incorporate this new firing system, development halted when Hitler suspended all new rifle programs due to administrative infighting within the Third Reich. Hitler ordered that newer submachine guns were to be built, and he strongly disagreed with the use of the Kurz ammunition. To keep the MKb 42(H) development program alive, the Waffenamt (Armament Office) re-designated the weapon as the Maschinenpistole 43 (MP 43) and, making a few improvements, billed the weapon as an upgrade to existing submachine guns. Much time was wasted trying to make the MP 43 a replacement for the Karabiner 98k rifle. This goal was eventually realized to be impossible; the MP 43 cartridge was too weak to fire rifle grenades, too inaccurate for sniping, and the weapon was too short for bayonet fighting. In September 1943, it was decided that the MP 43 would supplement rather than replace the Kar 98k.
Adolf Hitler eventually discovered the designation deception and halted the program again. In March 1943, he permitted it to recommence for evaluation purposes only. Running for six months until September 1943, the evaluation produced positive results, and Hitler allowed the MP 43 program to continue in order to make mass production possible. The weapon made extensive use of for the 1940s advanced cost-saving pressed and stamped steel components rather than machined parts. The first MP 43s were distributed to the Waffen-SS; in October 1943, some were issued to the 93rd Infantry Division on the Eastern Front. Production and distribution continued to different units. In April 1944, Hitler took some interest in the weapon tests and ordered the weapon (with some minor updates) to be re-designated as the MP 44. In July 1944, at a meeting of the various army heads about the Eastern Front, when Hitler asked what they needed, a general exclaimed, "More of these new rifles!". Production soon began with the first batches of the new rifle being shipped to troops on the Eastern Front. By the end of the war, a total of 425,977 StG 44 variants of all types were produced and work had commenced on a follow-on rifle, the StG45. A properly trained soldier with a StG 44 had an improved tactical repertoire, in that he could effectively engage targets at longer ranges than with an MP 40, but be much more useful than the Kar 98k in close combat, as well as provide covering fire like a light machine gun. It was also found to be exceptionally reliable in extreme cold.
A primary use of the MP 44/StG 44 was to counter the Soviet PPS and PPSh-41 submachine guns, which used the 7.62×25mm Tokarev round. These cheap, mass-produced weapons used a 71-round drum magazine or 35-round box magazine and though shorter-ranged than the Kar 98k rifle, were more effective weapons in close-quarter engagements. The StG 44, while lacking the range of the Kar 98k, had a considerably longer range than the PPS/PPSh submachine guns, more power, a comparable rate of fire, an ability to switch between a fully automatic and a default semi-automatic fire mode and surprising accuracy. At the end of the war, Hugo Schmeisser claimed that 424,000 MP 43/MP 44/StG 44 rifles were built between June 1943 and April 1945 in four plants: 185,000 by C.G. Haenel in Suhl; 55,000 by J.P. Sauer & Sohn in Suhl; 104,000 in Erfurt; and 80,000 by Steyr-Daimler-Puch AG in Steyr, Austria. This was fewer than the 1.5 million ordered, and far fewer than the 4 million planned. Some 822 million rounds of 7.92×33mm Kurz ammunition were produced from 1942 to 1945. At the beginning of March 1945, the troops had 273.9 million rounds.
The Sturmgewehr remained in use with the East German Nationale Volksarmee with the designation MPi.44 until it was eventually replaced with variants of the AK-47 assault rifle. The Volkspolizei used it until approximately 1962 when it was replaced by the PPSh-41. It was still used by other public security formations thereafter. Other countries to use the StG 44 after World War II included Czechoslovakia and Yugoslavia, where units such as the 63rd Paratroop Battalion were equipped with it until the 1980s. Argentina manufactured their own trial versions of the StG 44 made by CITEFA in the late 1940s and early 1950s, but instead adopted the FN FAL in 1955, because it used the then more common and powerful 7.62×51mm NATO round. 7.92mm Kurz ammunition is currently manufactured by Prvi Partizan of Serbia. The extent to which the Sturmgewehr influenced the development of the AK-47 is not clearly known. Apart from external layout similarity and the gas-operation principle, the AK-47 was not a copy of the German gun because the AK-47 used a very different mechanism. However, tens of thousands of Sturmgewehrs were captured by the Soviets and were likely provided to Kalashnikov and his team, so it is likely that he knew of it while designing the AK-47. United States and, later, NATO developed assault rifles along a roughly similar path by at first adding selective-fire capability in a reduced power, full-caliber cartridge.

Oh my God, they were roommates...
READ ON AO3
TEASER:
JANUARY
“Okay, okay, big guy, you got this.”
The spider blinked up at him with all of its far too many, beady, black eyes.
{Taunting little shit.}
The spider reared back on its legs in a terrifying display of...dominance?
[Taunting big shit.]
Wade Wilson let out a shaky breath, clutching the shoe tighter in his hand as his gaze glued on the hairy arthropod that had invaded his home. The spider scuttled forward, the noise of his abundance of legs scuffing on the hardwood floor making Wade’s heart leap into his throat as he propelled himself up onto the couch with the velocity of a hyperactive kid on a trampoline.
“I don’t got this, I don’t got this, I don’t got—AH! BACK! STAY BACK CHARLOTTE’S WEB! I’VE GOT A YEEZY YECHEIL SNEAKER AND I’M NOT AFRAID TO—FUCK!”
Wade threw the shoe with all of his might at the eight-legged-pest as it made a sudden dash for the couch. The sneaker bounced apathetically off the floor, straight over its creepy, bulbous body and directly into Wade’s dying Blushing Bromeliad.
“Damn it, Kanye! Why are your sneakers so soft!”
[Those are definitely knock-offs, right?]
{Oh yeah. Still ugly, though}
“Ugh, why did Bob choose today to go crawling back to his wife?” he groaned out loud, eyes peering around his apartment for a weapon to arm himself.
{Dude. You have a legit arsenal}
“You’re a legit arsenal,” Wade growled, forlornly gazing at his closet which housed his personal armory all the way over on the other side of the room.
His katanas. Glock. AK-47. Pepper Spray. Throwing Stars. The Penetrator.
{Riiiiight. Because a giant, dildo-sword would come in so handy right now.}
[LOL. ‘Come in hand-y.’]
The spider was directly under his coffee table now. He couldn’t see it anymore, but he knew it was still there. Glancing over to his kitchenette and back, Wade did some mental math from his perch atop the couch.
“Maybe I could ‘the floor is lava’ my way over to—GET BACK YOU ARAGOG MOTHERFUCKER!” he yelped, startling as the spindly legs peeked out from under the table.
“Okay, okay,” Wade took some not-so-calming breaths, “I can just jump. I’m—I’m plenty flexible. I can just—”
Two solid knocks cut him off mid-plan.
Dead silence rang out as Wade’s heart hammered in his ears, confused at the intrusion.
{Since when does the big guy get visitors?}
[He got plenty of visitors when he lived with Blind Al]
{Yeah, something tells me those geriatric gentlemen weren’t there for baldo at 11pm}
“Uh, hello? Is everything okay in there?”
Wade blinked at the voice wafting from behind his front door.
[Sounds hot]
{Can someone ‘sound hot’?}
[This guy does]
“Uh, yeah. S’all good in the hood. No problemo...man.”
A beat passed where Wade winced into next week.
“Really?” the voice called back, disbelieving, “it’s just...I heard screaming.”
Wade frowned.
“It was manly yelling!”
He wasn’t sure, but he thought he heard a quiet laugh, then.
“...Manly yelling for help?”
