THEE android concept album masterpiece and I can't think about androids without thinking about these songs. As far as associating it with Galatea, I think her giddy glee at clandestine violence manifests here (first sparring with Emet-Selch to the point of losing limbs [and reattaching them], then her later murder spree) but it's also a performative joyfulness. No bc I don’t even read much buddie fic for that exact reason. Especially law suit arc, like I read one when I first joined the fandom and got the biggest ick. I actually think buck is one of the most woobified characters in tv history which sucks cause his actual character is so interesting! I think number of buddie writers project themselves into buck and treat Eddie as like a love interest they want, instead of his own character
