I want to make a miniature alchemist's lab so badly that I'm (finally) willing to learn how to work with foam. Here are some highlights from the cutting, carving and texturing process.

I'm really happy with how it's turning out, but both my impatience and my perfectionism are really being put to the test.

On your fantasy au, I can't help but Imagine Jon grumbling about how three whole knights in full armor seems like over kill for a scientist and telling Martin not to break anything in the lab. He trusts Tim and Sasha but he doesn't trust the new one. Than immediately proves it's not overkill by getting kidnapped in like. A week.

He doesn't even know...the knights are trailing him from behind....they visit and interact with him casually as to not raise suspicion...but martin fucked up and now he's banned from the lab. Jon doesn't realize what's happening until he's been kidnapped and struggling in his bonds and suddenly three knights burst into the dungeon out of nowhere

I just love whenever anytime Varian gets abducted in a fic for being a (politically) valuable asset to prissy nobles and the fic frames it as oh he's not stuck with the kidnappers, no no, the kidnappers are stuck with him—its mwah chef's kiss

More Hermitcraft x FMA AU because the brainrot dont stop

Major General Gem is Pearl's commanding officer and also a state alchemist herself, though she mainly does research. Her skills on the field are not to be underestimated though. While her specialization is in bioalchemy, her proficency with a gun and close combat is unparalleled. She used to be a military doctor during the war on Ishval and heard about the experiments with creating Philosopher stones there, which later led to her investigating Lab 5 and Marcoh's work with Pearl, Impulse, and Grian

I also had the idea of Pearl, maybe for a time during Ishval, for her official title changed to the Red Pearl Alchemist. idk if ill keep that idea but i think its cool

Loving the fact the carpenter life gives you gloves but alchemist and blacksmith don't. Like yeah you need gloves to use this saw!! Don't worry about getting burns or acid on your hands though that's fine :)
