Besides the Picrew and texture pack I've also been doing either gifts or throwing together DnD maps, like this alchemy lab with a hidden truesight message on the wall.
Most of the assets I'm using are from 2-minute tabletop and I can highly recommend them. I'm mainly using the "Mansion furniture", "dungeon trap/passages" and "roadside forest" token packs, but there's so much more. Check it out.

HAPPY WINTER SOLSTICE (Northern Hemisphere) Alchemical Laboratories by Midjourney

Tumblr media
In 2002, a flood in Prague caused some streets to collapse into a series of unknown underground tunnels. And just like that, a legit 16th cent. alchemist laboratory was discovered.
Tumblr media
10 years of discovery, repair, and restoration later, it’s now open for tours.
Tumblr media
On the outside, only a house was visible and it was used as a pharmacy in its time. Alchemists were notoriously secretive, so none but those on the inside knew about the tunnel system below where potions were made.
Tumblr media
A room dedicated to herb storage. Many of the herbs in the potions came from China and India. The house was conveniently located by major trade routes.
Tumblr media
Notice an alligator (or croc/caiman) above the left side. There were lots of stuffed animals, bottles, and books. Since few people in Europe had ever seen alligators/crocodiles, they were said to be the bodies of dragons, and were thought to guard the alchemists.
Tumblr media
The alchemists were so secretive, they did everything themselves, down to making the glassware for their elixirs.
Tumblr media
A stone in the wall that covered a hidden vault in the underground tunnels. Historians uncovered that it held a single bottle of ‘The Elixir of Life’ and the recipes for it, and the elixirs of love and memory.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This bookcase is an exact replica of the original, which was too damaged to restore. A statue on the right side (in the dark area on the third shelf from the top) is the door knob/switch to a secret sliding door.
Tumblr media
Monks now recreate the elixirs exactly as detailed in the instructions and each of the elixirs (and blends!) are for sale in their shop. The only change is that the Elixir of Life does not contain opium as is instructed, since it’s now illegal.

"In-depth information of the Warframe mandate is forbidden to all but the Seven."
Despite this, Albrecht Entrati:
-got a hold of the Helminth virus, which is the specific strain of infestation used to make Warframes.
-made his own Warframe (Qorvex).
-time travelled to 1999 to Warframe-ify people who believed he was saving them from a plague.
Albrecht Entrati does not give a single solitary fuck, I am amazed he somehow avoided the Jade Light.

“What’s so precious about a monster?”
A seductive and deceptively delicate blend of rose-tinted white sandalwood, ethereal white amber, voluptuous almond blossom, coeur de jasmin, and a gasp of bourbon vanilla.
BPAL x Junji Ito???

The work of horror manga artist Junji Ito has wound itself into our brains so tightly, there’s simply no digging it out. As such, it has been an immense honor to develop licensed BPAL products in collaboration with the Crunchyroll series Junji Ito Collection, which includes TOMIE and many other tales.
The first one: Tomie. “‘What’s so precious about a monster?’ A seductive and deceptively delicate blend of rose-tinted white sandalwood, ethereal white amber, voluptuous almond blossom, coeur de jasmin, and a gasp of bourbon vanilla.”

TWST Alchemy Lab
Whether we're freaking out over new JP spoilers or trying to avoid JP spoilers, I figured I'd put up a little distraction -- I made an alchemy lab for my TWST Nendoroids :)
Tumblr media
Many more pictures and info for fellow dorks under the cut.
Here it is in all its glory:
Tumblr media
To see things a little better, here's a picture in very bright light:
Tumblr media
I built this in one of those wall-mounted Ikea dollhouses. If you make similar stuff, try to track one down! You get four big display spaces for about $40. Unfortunately post-COVID they seem hard to find in store....
Tumblr media
The shelves themselves are made from basswood and painted dark brown, then dry brushed with black to age them. The stuff on the shelves is a combination of things I made and things from my 20+-year collection of Re-ment and other similar candy toys.
I worked by screenshotting the lab in the game, making a list of items that needed to be reproduced, and then making them. Of course, I wasn't making a perfect replica, but it lines up fairly well. For example:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
To make stuff, I used a lot of polymer clay, some leftover parts I had from a Mimo Circle M Convenience Store set, and a big bag of no-brand bottles from Amazon. I can't begin to say where I got all the Re-ment, but big contributors were this, this, this, this, this, and this.
I had a cauldron I liked from one of the above sets, but no fire to go with it, so I threw some together out of polymer clay:
Tumblr media
It took a couple of months to finish everything XD; but I'm pretty pleased with it! And it's kind of awesome for Nendo photographs, no matter how bad a photographer I am.
You can have the aftermath when Riddle makes a small mistake, Azul laughs, and Riddle goes ballistic:
Tumblr media
Or Jade being brilliant and Floyd celebrating that:
Tumblr media
Or Vil and Leona seething with grumpiness/UST/whatever that is between them:
Tumblr media
So yes....I made a thing. Now to buy the rest of the TWST Nendoroids.... :)

homunculus facts¡
despite some similarities' neither the korok nor the chao is a true homunculus' as they lack a truly perforate acetabulum•
if you dip my little fingers in paint' they function as brushes {i made you a finger painting}•
recent batches of homunculi in master,s lab display the rare ability to remove the scent from a scented candle completely with a single sniff• this is considered a defect' and collectors are already storing them up for later sale•
my summer tan is already starting to fade• ಥ_ಥ
last night i dreamt i was in the refrigerated compartment at the deli• master forgot to light the burners in the lab for the night•
we stay silly• ¯\(◉‿◉)/¯

Theory: BPAL scrapped the original formula for "Snake Oil" because it was based on some accord purchased in bulk for which the formulator never actually knew the individual components, and then they just ran out of it.
Argument Against: They should be able to just take a sample of the old stuff and "Shoot The Juice" through GC/MS - there are literally consumer services for that now, it should be affordable?
Argument For: They can't do that because they're too scared that the GC/MS company will reveal their secret formulation-shortcut shame (potential IP issue? lawsuit risk?) and/or secret snake oil formula to the world.
Competing Theory: It's more likely that the original formula just had too much eugenol and coumarin for regulatory purposes.* Like, if it were possible to legally sell convincing Original!Snake Oil dupes, I'm sure that Al Rehab, Bath and Body Works, and SaveOnScents would be doing it. Snake Oil is probably just illegal.
* (The changes described in the reformulation are the addition of patchouli oil and vanilla absolute, common "safe and all-natural" substitutions for eugenol and coumarin.
Also, like. Snake Oil smells like eugenol and coumarin. I have eugenol in the kitchen and I know what coumarin smells like. That's what's in the bottle.)
Argument Against: This one is slightly less funny.
