WIP Wednesday (and Last Line Tag)

Hi! Since the last time I posted I got an awful cold, traveled to visit friends, and toured a law school while I was there. So basically, that's why I haven't participated in the last few games and things BUT THAT CHANGES TODAY. Thanks for the tags below!

Needed a brain break from Daddy Issues, so finally wrote the Leo Chapter from my fic that's Outsiders POV of RWRB (Shades of Bougainvillea if you remember). This is also my last line, so it fulfills that tag too:

With June turning down the campaign job, and Alex still working through his penultimate semester of undergrad, not much changes in the Claremont White House over the course of autumn months. Mostly, everything’s as busy and bustling as it ever is, and Leo does his best to support everyone as best he can. He does, however, take note of a specific trend as he observes his step-children across the breakfast table. Alex has always had his phone attached to his hand, but recently it’s led to fewer impassioned rants about right-wing tweets, and more grins followed by rapid typing. He doesn’t think it’s Nora, either—more than once he’s witnessed this phenomenon occur while Nora’s sitting at Alex’s side, mid-conversation with June. Which means that Alex is talking to someone else other than June and Nora. Leo can’t help but grin into his coffee mug. He likes that someone besides the two of them can draw that smile from Alex; he hopes that maybe he can meet whoever it is one day.

here's a bit more of the proposal au currently titled "the full spectrum of human emotion" <3 this was again written blurry eyed at a terrible hour so please forgive any errors xoxo.

With every touch, every anecdote, every shared moment, Alex gives Henry yet another piece of the Alex Claremont-Diaz mosaic. He can, against his flimsy fucking will, sense little pieces of his heart fastening themselves to Henry, parts of Alex he keeps hidden away from him, from the cold walls of his office in New York City. Fragments of him drenched in the Texas sun, soaked in a Shiner, floating in an Austin lake, laughing around an open fire with his family he left behind. He remembers telling Henry to give himself away sometimes, to share more, to place more of himself in Alex's outstretched, greedy hands. That's the only way their harebrained scheme can work, after all—equal footing, equal ground. But Alex knows, deep down, that this will never be an equal relationship. Henry is his boss desperately dangling a legally binding carrot, and Alex is his assistant biting said carrot to avoid goddamn jail time. No way in hell this ends in anything but a divorce, a broken heart, a letter of resignation, and a career change.

I will only be shipping Alex with Henry, and I will only be shipping with the Henry on yourprincehenry. However, I'd love to interact with other characters from the movie and books. I'd love a Nora and June more than you'd know.

I don't have any banned FCs right now, however no one problematic or no longer alive is obviously a no. I'd also like to add, same FCs are fine, but I will not interact with anyone doing the "same face, look the same/similar" thing unless there's like a twins plot or something.

No Mary-Sue types welcome, so have a bio for your OC, otherwise, I will respectfully decline interacting with you. It's nothing person but all characters should feel real, have flaws and not just be always perfect. I personally am one that loves the flaws, makes the characters charming to me.

Just for myself, I'll be a bit selective with who I follow and roleplay with so I don't want to get overwhelmed but also again, new back to the indie world. Just respond to an open to ask and we can surely interact.

I am open to putting Alex in different fandoms, however, he's still always with his Henry. I'll try to make different verse for these fandoms in time, however, but again, single ship only.

I use gifs and rp icons with small text, nothing too fancy. All I ask of you is to cut your posts. Un-cut posts are my biggest pet-peeve so please, keep this in mind before proceeding. I also don't like big/mobile gifs, so I'd appreciate those little to none, thank you. Just looks bad and the mobile gif search seems rude to some creators. I am open to threads without gifs/icons as well.

I have no triggers really but as stated, I don't care for rape, abuse, assault, suicide or self harm. They're not topics to take lightly, so I'd like little to none of these addressed on this blog if possible.

He takes the chart and studies it carefully.

Silver, gold and platinum—three packages exist encompassing different clauses. The silver package is mostly apt for a fake prom-date with hand-holding and minimal pda for a few hours. The gold package a bit more extravagant—it is enough to sell the story at an ex’s wedding and lastly the Platinum package—Henry swallows thickly—there are clauses to charm the family, adorably whisper fake sweet nothings to the partner and pda includes kiss on a cheek.
