“You’re wearing Levi’s.” Alex said, frozen in place and very much not tuned into what Henry had just been saying. Alex was never frozen, Alex never stopped moving, but now he was as still as a statue and staring at Henry with wide and focused eyes. He clears his throat, a blush forming on his cheeks. “I am. Is that, am I. . . do they look that ridiculous.” he sighs and leans against the bar. “I have had so many sex dreams like this.” OR Henry throws Alex a Texas themed surprise party for his birthday and when Henry dresses. . . accordingly, Alex has lots of feelings about it (unashamed birthday sex Beyonce-inspired fic)

Inspiration Weekend

Thanks @kiwiana-writes for the tag!! My brain has frankly been taken over by my Fire Island WIP, despite the fact that I should be working on my big bang fic and that I have at least two months before I want to begin posting.

Pinterest introduced me to the Fire Island polaroids taken by Tom Bianchi, and it's literally so perfect for this I feel like screaming. He seems like a badass guy, learn more about an elder gay here.

In lieu of posting anything for WIP Weds (thank you for all the tags!!) I humbly offer my new tattoo parlor/ flower shop fic!

“If you’re here to rob me you’re doing a poor job of it.” He said, his lips turning into a slight smile that made Alex’s head spin. He had a British accent and Alex found himself wishing the man would continue speaking so he could hear more words curl around those lips. "I only have bulbs and dirt, nothing of interest."

Flirting it was. "Don't sell yourself short, I'm sure plenty of people would want to steal your dirt." 

The man snorted, a sound which Alex found incredibly endearing. "At least I'd know you'd suffer, carrying all these bags of dirt away. You'd be sore for days." The man stood and offered Alex a hand, which he readily accepted. 

Alex swallowed back the comment that he'd rather be sore from something else. He had some decorum after all. "Then I supposed it's a good thing I'm not here for your dirt. I'm here to welcome you to our little neighborhood."
