really boutta make july my life appreciation month in honor of living two years longer. i would’ve missed my cousins first birthday, my best friends iconic bday party of ‘21, all of the major livestock shows i’ve compeated at, my last year of jr maifest, my older sister figure actually getting a boyfriend, aka a shit ton of memories i cherish now. i may struggle with my religious beliefs but on july 22 especially i thank god i made it<3

Minor backstory (feel free to ignore this and imagine reader however you like): Reader has the skillset of a rogue/spy but it was out of the need to survive their harsh homeland rather than using them as a profession. Still, it doesn’t stop the other harbingers and the Tsaritsa from keeping them under constant surveillance and they can never leave the harbinger’s headquarters. They are currently engaged to Pierro for political alliance reasons and is always either in his company or nearby his office, which he spends most his time in. Reader could try and figure a way to escape the place but it doesn’t help when you’re the fiancée of the First Lord Harbinger who happens to have a variety of skills right at his fingertips. No…you’d have to approach things differently.

It was just like any other night at the harbinger’s headquarters. Pierro busy at his desk, sorting through paperwork, dishing out the last few remaining tasks of the day, and already planning ahead for tomorrow's briefing. Of course, the two of you would never admit it out loud.

In the midst of your thoughts, he suddenly spoke to you.

Breaths hitched; hearts skipped a beat. It's not as if you both hadn't made eye contact before so why does this time feel...different?

It felt like forever and suddenly, Pierro reached a hand out to caress your cheek and slowly bringing you into a gentle kiss.
