Do you know anything about a version where Block, Aglaya and Daniil are the three heroes/healers? I saw this in a comment somewhere but I might be misremembering things

Quickly becoming a frequently asked question! There's no such thing, but there are a lot of similar concepts floating around. I did a little more digging this time; the idea in my head was an early draft with 7 characters for some reason, but famously abhorrent person Dybowski said on the old IPL forums that A) the role-playing campaign that eventually became Pathologic had five player characters, but B) the idea of a "trio" of healers was one of the first clear concepts for the game.

Those healers never included Block or Aglaya, though. I don't want to say he was the earliest Healer invented, but we do know that a version of the Haruspex/Ripper named Kryuk ("Hook") existed as a Healer in early versions (as some of Burakh's files still have his name)... and the 2002 Techdemo is about a Bachelor named Benedict. I'm kiiiind of sure that the connection here is that Block and Aglaya were theorized as player characters for the Pathologic 2 Kickstarter's "A Small Prequel" stretch goal, which was never made.

What you're probably thinking of here is that Aglaya, Block and the Bachelor are the triad of "Emissaries" - strangers arriving from the Capital. This symbolic grouping is most relevant in the Changeling's route of p1, starting with Aglaya's arrival on Day 7 :-)

alex wasn’t the most observant person, but when it came to ayla, he noticed everything. from the sleepy look in her eyes to the dent she made in her book, he saw everything. enough time had passed between them, enough history shared that being each other’s best friends went unsaid. still, he selfishly liked to hear it. “what time is it?” sitting up on his elbows, he searched for his phone around him. “i should probably go, right? before i fall asleep again.”

Hello everyone! My name is Pucca, I'm 27 years old and I go by she/her. I've had 7+ years of roleplay experience, and have already tried rping as Hamilton a few times before. I am from Turkey.

Everything will be tagged accordingly, from anons to threads to asks to NSFW. NSFW will be present on this blog, so though I can't keep minors away, do have the caution.

I will have two verses for hamilton. Before the war and after the war. So, young Alex and middle aged alex. They will both be tagged, which means his age will differ between RP to RP.

I will do my best to do him justice and be as historically accurate as possible, as far as my knowledge goes. I'm not so keep on history, but I do my researches, and I'm studying Alex's character to make sure I don't say anything out of pocket or something that doesn't fit him. If you see me post anything that you feel like doesn't fit his character, please tell me. I encourage it! I would love help on this, since again, I'm not even American nor do I love history all that much. So feel free to correct me!

Rest are basic roleplay rules, y'know, don't spam, respect, don't pester me, all that good stuff. I hope we have fun!

So I had a thought

I've been watching Jason Carl's (long may he reign) Vampire the Mascarade chronicle L.A By Night, and a scene in season two hit me in the feels in a way it had no right to AND made me think of an interesting parallel

In season 2, ep 8 of L.A. By Night the protagonists are sent on a diplomatic mission to try and distract the Camarilla, a sort of totaliratian parallel vampire state while their allies gathered support and rallied the troops. This was as close as it gets to a suicide mission, and it gave this gem of a scene:

I dunno man, but the urge of the two daddest figure of each group to immortalize (lol) their friends/familiy-in-all-but-blood while still in the eye of the storm, in the moment right before the impact, when they can still pretend that they will all come out of it alive ??? The others being very deeply awkward but still humoring Undad Victor and Bestboy Lieutenant Trapp bc despite the cringiness they recognize the gravity of the situation and also want that moment to strech just a bit longer ?????

Nothing better to sell a proper feeling of impeding doom than the idea that the affection these people had for each other will live on in a picture, even if they all most likely don't.
