First off, HELLO SOMEONE ELSE WHO LOVES THE DO.UB/E L/FE SMP and second off, I would like to raise you: soulbounds share pain so the other person feels their tummy fill up even more slowly until they're both bloated and achey
I am so sorry, I hadn't seen this ask until today (or a few days ago by the time I post this)
Alright hold on I'm gonna try to freestyle a fic out of this, for you anon
WARNING THIS IS A STUFFING KINK FIC
(Context for anyone who doesn't follow the series but is curious to read anyways- every character has a soulbound, with whom they share their health bar. Sometimes they hurt themselves on purpose to hurt their soulbound. And everyone has 3 lives before they're gone for good. Most M1necr4ft mechanics apply.)
-----------
Pear1 snickered to herself. Or maybe it was just a massive shiver coursing through her body. This time she'd stood in the snow for so long she felt herself start to lose consciousness before she stumbled back onto the warm grass.
"I bet Sc0tt looks like a blue icy pole right now," she giggled. The thought that her estranged soulbound was desperately trying to heat up after her icy stunt brought a smile to her face.
Pear1 chose to ignore the fact that she didn't feel herself grow any warmer. That maybe Sc0tt was ignoring her, despite how low both their health was hanging. She wandered on through the woods, one stiff step in front of the other, with chattering teeth and numb fingers.
She looked up from the ground when she heard someone ahead calling her name.
"Pear1! How are you? Didn't expect to see you here this morning!" Impu1se called from his garden. Looks like she'd accidentally found her way to his and Bdu6s' mid-century modern house.
She walked towards him. "D-doing alright you know, I've been t-tormenting Sc0tt."
"Oh! Right, with the powdered snow," he gestured to her shivering. He flashed an amused smile, but P3arl couldn't help noticing the worry in his eyes.
She cackled to ease the tension. The worry deepened.
Impu1se cut off her laughter. "Pear1, why don't you come inside? Bdu6s has been hard at work with the decoration, I'm sure you're gonna love it."
She had no reason to decline.
Stone tiles formed a path to the front door, which was surrounded by a variety of vines and bushes. She entered to an open concept house, with sections divided by the floor's slight differences in elevation. For a moment, the pure white walls reminded her of how terribly cold her body still felt. Then her attention was once again grabbed by the multiple paintings on the walls, the (currently unused) cobblestone fireplace, the colorful plants growing on a shelf, the Impu1se offering her some...
"SOUP!" she shouted excitedly. That genuinely made him laugh.
"Yeah, soup! For you! It's my own recipe, I hope you'll like it."
"Woahhh, thank you so much Impu1se!" She sat down at his dining table.
The soup had a savory scent, with the distinct slight earthiness of mushrooms. Pear1 could also detect a hint of spice she couldn't place.
The first bite travelled to her stomach like a healing wave of warmth, which then spread to the rest of her body. The piercing cold was finally receding. She ditched the spoon, drinking in big gulps directly from the bowl. With each passing second she could feel her health regenerating.
Once the last drop ran down her throat, Pear1 lifted her head from the bowl and giggled. The soup had melted away her stress and left her almost in a state of bliss.
"So how is it?" asked Impu1se, walking back towards her. "Woah you ate the entire bowl already!"
She nodded, still laughing. With the cold gone she realized she might be a bit sleep deprived, which explained her current silliness.
"Impu1se I'm so happy! Your recipe's the best," she squeaked.
"Aw, thanks Pear1! I added some Oxeye daisies," he explained, "They help when you're a feeling rough."
He took the empty bowl from her. "Did you want more? You must've been very hungry to eat it all so fast."
She nodded. To be honest, she wasn't really hungry anymore, but she was feeling a chill coming back and could do with the healing properties of the soup.
"Here you go," said Impu1se as he refilled her bowl. "In fact, take as much as you need. I'll be outside helping Bdu6s set up the new pool."
She took back the filled bowl, then stuttered a "thank you" as he headed out.
She decided to make use of the spoon this time, taking her time to really taste the soup. The flavors danced on her tongue and she felt herself warm up once again.
"Mmmmmm, soup," she moaned as she slid lower into her seat. She scooped some more into her mouth.
Finishing her second bowl left Pear1 pleasantly stuffed. She sighed, satisfied, and got up to leave, when the thought of Sc0tt crossed her mind. If she left now, she'd have to wander alone again. No one other than Impu1se seemed to want her around. But right now he was busy with building, so she'd probably just be in the way. She thought of R3n, who'd pointed at her with fear and accusation in his voice.
She laughed nervously, feeling the cold creeping back in her chest. Turning around, she eyed the cauldron of soup. That delicious soup. Surely another bowl wouldn't hurt.
Once more, she worked her way through the tasty meal. Halfway through, she had to slow down, occasionally pausing to take a deeper breath.
The spoon was finally dropped in an empty bowl, and Pear1 leaned back in her chair with a sigh. She went to rest her hands on her tummy, only to be surprised as they met her shirt earlier than expected.
"I guess I did eat quite a lot, huh," she remarked as she patted her rounded belly. She felt a mild ache settle over the streched organ, and opted to give it small rubs instead.
Right now, all she wanted was to be home, taking a digestive nap. Her tower wasn't too far, she calculated, she could definitely make it if she walked slowly and carefully. Then she could lay down in her bed, with her dog Tilly...
The memory of Tilly falling to her death as Pear1 was building her tower flashed in her mind. Now the dog only had two lives left, while she was still enjoying her green life.
The ache in her chest flared up, much stronger than the one in her belly. She debated grabbing the cauldron's remaining soup. She was already so full. Her mind told her that she should stop before she made herself sick. But the soup was so good! And it made her happy. And didn't Impu1se say it would help if she was feeling rough?
She pushed down on the table and chair to get up from her seat, weighed down by her massive meal. She scooped soup into her bowl until she was staring at the empty bottom of the cauldron. She made her way back to the dining table. She looked at the spoon for a moment, before setting it aside and grabbing the bowl in both her hands.
As soon as the soup hit her tongue, Pear1 felt compelled to drink faster. Maybe if she drank fast enough, the soup could wash away her thoughts, leaving only that divine taste. She could almost ignore the way her overfull stomach restricted her lungs to shallow breaths.
Until a cramp hit her like a fist. She yelped, pulling the bowl away from her lips.
Frowning, she brought her arms protectively around her bloated middle. She tried to take a deeper breath, in vain. Then a hiccup shot through her body, hammering another nail of pain in her tummy.
"Aoww..." she whimpered pitifully.
She stayed in her chair for several minutes, hunched over with a stomachache that would flare up with a hiccup every few seconds.
Before long, the two soulbounds came back from their work on the pool.
"Hey Pear1, are you still around?" Impu1se called.
"I heard Impu1se invited you in," Bdu6s piped up behind him, "you better not have stolen anything because I will notice!" This earned him an eye roll from the bigger guy.
Embarrassed, she tried to get up and act like nothing happened. But the sudden movement worsened her cramp, forcing her to bite back a cry as she sat back down.
Impu1se noticed her first. "Oh, there you are! Hey... is everything alright?"
He walked up and crouched next to her. "Can you tell me what happened?"
She opened her mouth to say something when a hiccup ecsaped, making her wince once more.
Bdu6s, who's eyes noticed the empty cauldron, clarified the situation: "Whuh?? Did she eat all of our soup?"
Pear1 winced again, this time out of shame, but Impu1se was quick to reassure her. "No no no no, don't worry about that. Do you want me to help you get to the couch? You'll be more comfortable and we'll be able to help you better."
Another hiccup shook her, then she nodded. He helped stabilize her as they walked to the couch, keeping an arm around her as they sat down.
He placed a palm on her belly, feeling the turmoil inside.
"Wow, you really did a number on yourself," he soothed. She hiccuped, and he started rubbing in a slow, circular motion across her entire midsection.
Bdu6s chimed in. "Would you like a health potion? I can force Gri4n to give me his gunpowder, so it'll be splash and you won't have to drink it."
"No, it's alright," she spoke. "My health hasn't gone down much it just... hurts."
Bdu6s nodded, then decided to sit down next to Pear1, opposite from his soulbound.
Impu1se's rubs managed to get a few relieving burps out of Pear1. At first she'd apologize, face red as a tomato. But then Bdubs would try to "outshine" her with one of his own, and by the end she just laughed at the whole thing. Her hiccups also seemed to have stopped altogether.
Impu1se moved his hands to the sides of her tummy. He pressed in softly with his fingertips, massaging towards the center. She seemed about to nod off when he spoke:
"Pear1... I know you want to get back at Sc0tt for leaving you, but hurting yourself isn't the victory you think it is."
She blinked. "That wasn't... I wasn't trying to hurt Sc0tt." She paused, trying to think of the best way to explain. "Your soup was just that irresistible, that's all!" she added with a cheeky smile.
Impu1se was unconvinced, but let it slide. He returned to slow circular motions with his hand, until Pear1 had fallen asleep on his shoulder.
They lowered the woman onto her side, then laid her head on a pillow and tucked her in with blankets, both retrieved from Bdu6s' bed.
------------------
C1eo nearly jumped out of her skin as Sc0tt barged into her house.
"C1eoooo, she's crazy!"
"Hello Sc0tt! Well of course you can come in, thanks for asking. Oh I'm doing great, how are you?" she said as he plomped down on a nearby stool. He placed a hand on the crest of his stomach and pinched his nose with the other.
"Save me the sarcasm please. Do you want to hear what Pear1's been doing to me?"
"Hey, you scared me, so that's on you. But of course I want to hear. Bread?" she offered.
Sc0tt made a face. "No thanks."
C1eo shrugged, taking a bite out of her loaf.
"She woke me up, I kid you not, at like 5 AM. It felt like I fell asleep in a freezer." Anger rose to his face as he recalled his brutal awakening, "The sun wasn't even up, C1eo!"
She chuckled at his exasperation. "Sorry, sorry, I'm not laughing at you." She paused. "We'll find a way to get back at her."
"Thank you," Sc0tt replied absentmindedly. He paused for a moment, stretching backwards in his chair, and C1eo suddenly noticed how taut his middle looked. She raised an eyebrow at this, but he interrupted her silent question with the rest of his story.
"Anyways, I decided not to give her the satisfaction of healing us up. If Pear1 wants to almost freeze us to death sitting in powdered snow, she has to deal with the consequences of her actions." He sighed, "When she finally caved and ate something, I thought my plan had worked, and that that would be the end of it. *Errrp* excuse me!"
At his involuntary burp, Sc0tt dramatically rolled his eyes and threw his hands in the air. C1eo held back another fit of laughter as she pieced together what was happening.
Defeated, he breathed out, "C1eo she's been stuffing her face nonstop! I can't win!"
She composed herself, sympathizing with her friend.
"How bad is it?"
"Manageable. But it's getting worse." He kneaded his swollen belly with one hand.
She got up. "I'll make you some tea. The kind that's good for stomachaches," she decided.
"You're the best!" he called back to her.
"I know!"
---
When C1eo came back with the mug, Sc0tt was lying on the floor, knees raised, hands holding his tummy. Unfortunately, her house was still pretty empty of "lying down" furniture.
"You alright?"
"Mmnnngh."
"You're not gonna die from a tummy ache."
Death stare.
"Well I've got your tea," she sat down next to him, setting the mug by his head. Once again she got nothing but a moan back.
She eyed him over for a moment. His face was pulled into a frown, and she could hear painful sounding gurgles coming from his stomach.
"That cannot be comfortable," she said. "Come sit back against me instead. You focus on drinking your tea, I'll focus on rubbing your tummy. How's that sound?"
He cracked his eyes open and nodded, then pushed himself up with a groan. Once he laid back as comfortably as possible against her frame, she started her ministrations.
"So where does it hurt more?"
"Ehmm, just below my ribs," he gulped. "It's just so tight."
"Mhm," she nodded. He took a sip of tea.
They sat in silence for a while, on the floor of C1eo's house, soothing Sc0tt's abused tummy with calloused hands and herbal tea.
He broke the silence first: "Has M4rtyn been bothering you since he shoved you into the ravine?"
"Ohhh, no," she chuckled, "he's been feeling very guilty about that."
"Good. *Errrrrp* Scuse me. Ooh that feels much better," he exhaled, closing his eyes.
She smoothed a palm over his swollen belly, feeling its curve. Sc0tt let out a happy whine, then she returned to feeling for tender spots.
He cracked his eyes open. "But how have you been feeling since then?" he asked, concerned. "He can apologize all he wants, you're still down a life."
"Well, I was angry at first, of course. Now, I can only hope that it was a jarring enough experience for him to stop acting so reckless," she sighed. "So far so good."
She added jokingly: "Turns out, when M4rtyn actually tries to survive, he can be decent at it."
He chuckled at that.
"I think you were right, Sc0tt."
"About what?"
"Your soulbound. She's CRAAAZY!" she roared.
He burst out laughing. After a moment he clutched her hand over his tummy.
"Don't make me laugh so hard!" he pleaded with a smile on his face. "It hurts!"
"As I said, you're not gonna die from a tummy ache." C1eo raised an eyebrow defiantly, then softened:
"Not while I'm here anyways."
