this video is so aegon coded, in my mind (I am the eldest child, I technically ruined my mom's life, but she tries so hard to love me, she DOES love me, but our relationship is so strained because of the way she's treated me due to her own pain. I think I'm a good enough reference on this)
like. him and alicent. with all their messiness. at the end of the day, that's HIS mommy, and no matter what, even when he feels like he hates her, she is beautiful and perfect and no one can say a bad thing about her because he loves her and she loves him and that makes everything ok at the end of the day.
sometimes he's mean to her, she's too rough, he feels like he hates her, she can barely look at him. but god forbid someone insult her in his presence, he will actually have a breakdown. that's his mommy and he loves her and forgives her and hopes she can forgive him and just wants her to be happy so they can all be happy.
like little kid aegon, he was always playing with her hair and her jewelry, telling her she was pretty. gently poking at her face, like toddlers do, when she was upset, trying to figure out what was wrong. he'd hug her clumsily and tell her it was alright. and he remembers that, he remembers wanting his mom to be happy and to know she was beautiful and that he was there (again, in the way a toddler does) and he stills wants that. he wants to be small and to make his mom smile and feel better. that's his job! he's supposed to protect her and make her happy!
I especially imagine this happens frequently cause of how her father and his father treat her, how the court treats her, how everyone treats her. they all so mean to her, even in ways that are quiet and seemingly mundane. he must hate it. hate the way they tear her apart with their words and their eyes. the way they subtly mock her. he must feel so angry but so helpless and conflicted.
and it all boils down to him becoming a sobbing, snotty, (in his case) drunken mess and I love that for him (I mean I feel really bad, this shit sucks, but you know what I mean)

Dark! House Of The Dragon x Game of Thrones! Reader|Part 2
Tumblr media Tumblr media
<<<Part 1
Through the years spent at Dragonstone, you managed to strengthen your ties with your siblings, your mother, Baela and Daemon.
You even visit Rhaenys and Corlys, and became best of friends with Rhaena despite Rhaenyra feeling possessive of you leaving her side.
This is all necessary to keep strong connections with the Velaryons, knowing very well that Rhaenys and Corlys know that you and your siblings are not their son's children
You even wore House Velaryons color at all times to please them and it worked very well.
Rhaenys and Corlys even requested to stay with them at Driftmark but Daemon and Rhaenyra rejected the idea.
Strangely enough Queen Alicent and your grandsire request the same thing, but of course, they got the same reply.
Rhaenyra felt threatened by the idea of you leaving her side and wed you to Jace earlier then expected.
Rhaenyra sensed your nervousness at the wedding and hugged you in assurance.
"Don't worry, I will be with you every step of the way, my sweet girl"
She didn't know that you remembered yours and Robb's wedding.
Daemon and Rhaenyra agreed to have the wedding on Dragonstone in the old valyrian custom.
They didn't invite anyone except the family members on Dragonstone.
Viserys was disappointed but not more angry then Alicent who found offense.
It's not like she invited Rhaenyra to Aegon and Helaena's wedding anyways.
Or maybe she did, but your mother didn't want you anywhere near the Hightowers.
Rhaenys also held grudge against Rhaenyra for doing such a thing, meanwhile Corlys was furious as he wished for the wedding to be on Driftmark.
Aemond felt heartbroken and stopped writing to you while Aegon drank away his pain.
Meanwhile Luke felt a bit jealous as he kind of had a crush on you, and your other younger siblings just enjoyed the celebrations.
Daemon encouraged Jace to impregnate you and ignore Rhaenyra's advice against having babies early.
And when you announce your pregnancy, Rhaenyra became so fearful for your life.
Especially when she saw how weak you were during the pregnancy.
You reminded her of her mother, Aemma.
Her paronia reflected on Jacaerys and Lucerys, thinking that you might not make it.
Meanwhile, in reality, you weren't ill, you were sad, because you wished for Cersei to be here.
Despite what she did to your previous husband, but still, Cersei loved you and this was clear.
On your fifth month, Rhaenyra announces that she is also pregnant just so she can support you and ease your worries.
You and Jace already chose the names for the babies, if it was a boy he will be named Aenar, and if it's a girl, then she will name Aemma.
Luke and Joffrey chose the perfect egg for the baby from your dragon's clutch.
Baela would read you stories as to pass time while you stay in bed.
When you want into labour, the whole castle went in chaos to ensure you have a safe delivery.
Daemon threatened the maesters that if anything happens to you, he will feed them to Caraxes.
Jace was on his way to support you during labour, but when he arrived, you were already holding his daughter.
Everything was going on well, with your new small family.
Until your grandsire, Corlys fell ill, and Vaemond decided to question the legitimacy of you and your full brothers.

You usually assisted Otto Hightower in the Tower of the Hand, but there had been a change among personnel who had access to the royal quarters following the tragedy of the young prince Jaehaerys. Many maids and servants were no longer allowed there. Having been working for the Keep since you were five and ten, you were trusted by the crown and had been relocated to the royal quarters.
With towels in hand, you made your way to the King’s chambers. It felt strange to be back in the royal quarters. You still knew your way around perfectly, though. The dowager Queen’s chambers were at the end of the corridor, next was Princess Helaena, Prince Aegon — now King Aegon, who had relocated to the King’s chambers —, Prince Aemond and lastly the children's chambers.
As you approached the door, a member of the Kingsguard stood before the wooden door.
‘’These are for the King’s bath,’’ you informed him, holding up the towels.
The guard nodded and stepped aside.
You stepped into the King’s chambers, the door closing behind you. The room was dimly lit, with only a few candles casting flickering shadows on the walls. You were about to head toward the bathing room to prepare the bath when you heard a sound that made you pause. It was faint at first, but unmistakable — the sound of someone crying. You turned your head towards the source of the noise, and your heart sank as you saw King Aegon, standing by his desk with his face buried in his hands. He was sobbing, his shoulders shaking with the force of his grief.
How could his half-sister do something so barbarous?
In front of people, Aegon always kept his emotions tightly suppressed. He had to hide his vulnerability from his court. They could not see him as weak — he would never allow it. But here, in the privacy of his chambers, he couldn’t hold it in any longer. He let out choked, gasping sobs that he had been holding back for hours.
It wasn’t the first time you saw him cry, but this time the sight was heart-wrenching. Two years ago, you had been Aegon’s personal maid, and you had, on regular occurrences, walked in on the prince in tears, curled up in his bed after arguments with his mother. He had sought solace in your presence, and even took you in his bed.
You knew it was wrong to have an affair with the prince. He was a husband, a father. But you couldn’t stop. Everytime you would push him away, he would find a way to take you back into his bed.
At some point, rumors of infidelity inside the castle began to circulate, accompanied by whispers of your relationship with Prince Aegon. You thought you would get fired, but instead, the Queen relocated you to the Tower of the Hand, a discreet way to quell the gossip while keeping you in service to the crown.
You hesitated, unsure if you should approach or leave him in his sorrow. But something compelled you to take a step closer.
‘’Your Grace,’’ you said softly, your voice barely above a whisper.
Aegon’s head snapped up at the sound of your voice. He looked at you through red-rimmed eyes, his voice cracking with emotion. ‘’What are you doing here?’’
You flinched slightly at the harshness in his voice, but you stood your ground. ‘’I’m here to prepare your bath, your Grace…’’
His hands were trembling, and he was anxiously twisting the ring on his pinky finger. ‘’I don’t want a bath! I want…I want my little son back,’’ Aegon whispered. ‘’He was so small, so innocent. What kind of cruel monster does this to a child?’’ He looked up at you, his eyes filled with pain and anger.
Without thinking, you stepped forward and wrapped your arms around him. It was far from appropriate, but your feet moved before your brain stopped them. At first, Aegon stiffened, but then he sank into your embrace, his sobs growing louder as he clung to you. You held him tightly, your hand gently stroking his back in an attempt to soothe him, providing him the comfort no one gave him.

You Can Do It
Aegon II Targaryen x Reader (Daughter of Rhaenyra)
Summary: The twins are born. Aemond isn't by your side, but Aegon is.
Masterlist Serie
I still don't know when I'm going to finish writing chapter 5 but until then I'll leave you with this
Disclaimer: English is not my first language so I apologize for any mistakes.
Tumblr media
"Aegon what are you doing here?" Alicent asked in surprise as the door to your chambers opens and her firstborn entered.
As soon as the king heard the news that your waters had already broken, he ran to your chambers. He didn't know why exactly but something inside him told him that he had to be by your side. And he was glad to listen to that small voice when he saw how the tension in your face softened at the sight of him.
"How are you feeling?" He asked walking up to you.
"I had better days, your grace" you replied with a small smile. It won't matter that you were sweaty and your belly was giant. to Aegon, you still looked beautiful.
You stopped your walk and leaned against the wall. The maester had told you to walk around the room until it was time for your baby to come out.
"My king, the birthing bed is no place for men," the maester said earning a glare from Aegon.
"I am the king and I can be where I please" he replied scathingly "Besides, I came to support my niece in the name of my brother"
Your eyes blinked away the tears that were forming at the mention of Aemond. You had the stupid hope that your husband would return for the birth of his child.
"Aegon, this could go on for hours," Alicent said trying to convince him to leave "I'm sure you have more important things to do"
"I'm sure the council can handle it for a couple of hours" the king affirmed "It doesn't matter, I'll stay by your side until you finish" he promised looking into your eyes.
"Thank you" you whispered thinking for a brief moment to hug him but you didn't.
And neither Alicent nor the maester said they bothered to try again to get the king to leave, not wanting to face his wrath. They were also sure that sooner or later Aegon would leave. Both of them were surprised when he took your hand and started walking with you around the room for over an hour.
Alicent was telling you stories from when your uncles were babies in an attempt to distract you from the pain when at one point you get a contraction so strong it almost makes you fall on the floor, if it wasn't for Aegon catching you. They both helped you get into bed as comfortably as possible. Aegon didn't take his eyes off your face as the maester lifted your nightgown to see if you could start thrusting yet.
"You can push now, princess" the old man announced.
You began to push, crying out in pain as you clung to both Aegon's hand and Alicent's. She looked at her son expecting him at any moment to get up and leave the room. But he never did, he stayed by your side without letting go of your hand, from time to time making a little grimace because of the strength with which you were holding him but he never complained. She noted how Aegon's lavender eyes conveyed pure concern and pain. He looked like he was suffering from seeing you suffer.
"Princess, you must keep pushing," the maester asked when you stopped.
"I can't," you said tiredly "I can't do it" you repeated ignoring the midwives' words of encouragement.
"Y/n, I swear that all this pain will be worth it when you have your baby in your arms," Alicent said brushing the hair from your face.
"No, I can't do it" you repeated shaking your head "They're going to have to cut me open to get the baby out" you panicked and started crying. You were scared, you wanted your mother by your side, you wanted her to tell you that everything would be okay. You didn't want to die yet, you wanted to see your mother and siblings again, you wanted to be there when Aemond came back and met your baby. But right now you didn't think you were capable of giving birth.
Aegon felt his heart break to see you in this state. You looked so hopeless. He couldn't bear to see you like this.
"Hey, hey, look at me, look at me" with his free hand he took your chin making you look at him "No one is going to open you" he promised, giving your hand a light squeeze, it was the only way he could show his support "I know you can do it. Do you hear me? You can do it. You're not alone" he could feel her mother's gaze but he didn't care, the only thing that mattered now was you "You have dragon blood in your veins. You are strong. You will beat the delivery bed "Your breathing calmed down and slowly the tears stopped flowing "Now I want you to push, you can lean on me, smash my hand and scream all you want but I need you to push" he smiled when you nodded.
Alicent couldn't help but be surprised and angry. A part of her was surprised by the softness in her firstborn's voice when speaking to you, she was grateful that he can comfort you but another part was furious with her son for being here, by your side when he was not together with Helaena when Jaehaerys and Jaehaera were born. Aegon was not there to calm his sister's fears.
Then you started to push again, you were sure that your screams should be heard throughout the castle but it didn't matter, today you would give birth. Aegon was right, you have the blood of the dragon and you weren't going to let the birthing bed kill you. You were going to live, you were going to see your baby grow, you'd be on your feet when Aemond got back and you'd introduce him to his child, and the both of you raise him together.
"I can already see the child's head, princess. Keep pushing" asked the maester and you did it. You had to make one last effort and you could already have your baby in your arms.
You kept pushing until you finally heard a cry from the baby. You were so relieved to hear that you let yourself lean against Aegon. He started stroking your back. You closed your eyes for a moment enjoying the sense of security and peace you felt. You smiled when you heard that he was a boy. You were about to ask for it so you could see it when you felt pain again making you groan, earning worried looks from your mother-in-law and brother-in-law.
"Princess, there is still another child" announced the maester surprised.
"Damn it Aemond. When I get back I won't let him touch me again" you said making the king laugh.
"Okay, princess, let's get this over with," Aegon said smiling and you couldn't help but smile back. You should hate him for stealing your mother's throne, but how could you hate him after he was by your side on the birthing bed? It was not his obligation, he was not your husband but he was still here, by your side, supporting you.
A couple more pushes and it didn't take long for another cry to be heard, this one much louder.
"Another boy, princess. Congratulations"
"Thank you all for being with me"
A few minutes later the midwives finished cleaning the children. They gave you one of your babies, Alicent was ready to take the other but the midwife gave it to the king.
Aegon didn't expect it but he took the baby without problems, it's not like it was the first time he had a child in his arms he was a father. He felt a lump begin to form in his throat as he remembered when he first lifted Jaehaerys. He decided to put those thoughts aside so as not to overshadow the happiness of the birth of your children.
"My little Aemon," you said looking tenderly at your son in your arms. You felt your heart full of love. Alicent was right. All the pain was worth seeing how she looked at you "I'm your mom" you smiled and left a kiss on her forehead. You still didn't want to let go but you could see your mother-in-law eager to pick up one of her grandchildren "Meet your grandmother" you gave her the baby.
Alicent was relieved to see that her grandson had Aemond's nose and violet eyes, which were darker than the king's. For a moment she had feared that Aegon's attitude was because they were actually his children.
"And what are you going to call this little guy?" Aegon asked as he rocked the baby. He already loved him, simply for being a part of you.
"Baelon" you replied with a smile feeling warmth seeing how he looked at your son "Now, I didn't want to interrupt your moment with your nephew but I would like to meet my son"
"I'm sorry" the king apologized with red cheeks before passing the boy to you.
"It's okay" you smiled at him before turning your full attention to your baby.
Alicent looked at the three of them and felt nauseated. You looked so happy as you spoke to Baelon and Aegon looked at you with such love, he had never seen that look in his eyes, the three of you quietly seemed like family. She felt sick when she realized her mistake when she denied the commitment between Helaena and Jacaerys and yours with Aegon. She remembered her firstborn complaining that he didn't want to marry his sister but you, that he loved you. She had thought it was a whim but now she could see it. Because only a man who truly loved you could look so happy while you carry another man's child. Any other man would be spiteful and jealous. But Aegon didn't, he loved you so much that he just wanted to see you well.

Painted Smile
Painted Smile XXXIII
<- Previous Chapter I Next Chapter ->
Summary: You couldn't wait to meet new friends. What you didn't expect was this smiling little boy, only one year older than you, that would take such a big place in your life.
Notes: Oh my dear readers. I truly hope you will enjoy this chapters because I did. I had to cut this chapters in half because it would have been too long. Next chapters are going to be really intense I think, please do tell me your thoughts.
“ Alice, leave your father’s shadow alone!”
It’s been a few years since you gave birth to your little girl and it had been.. Interesting so far.
After giving birth, you stayed inside the hospital for a week. It seemed like you had bleed too much so the doctors wanted to make sure you would be safe before going home. Your parents visited you as soon as you were stable.
“ Oh, my baby..!” your mother ran toward you and hugged you while your father shook Alastor’s hand with teary eyes.
You smiled at your mother as you showed her your baby. Your dad immediately coed at her, carrying her in his arms as your mother kissed her forehead. Alastor stayed by your side, caressing your hand, making sure you were feeling fine. You smiled sweetly at him, you were exhausted but you were also feeling full of energy!
Marie came the next day with flowers and sweets for you. She hugged her son with a soft expression before kissing you on both cheeks. She couldn’t hold her tears when you showed her Alice. She kissed Alice’s forehead before taking her in her arms after you had her permission.
“ She looks just like you, Alastor!” She beamed as Alice opened her eyes to look at her grandma.” Oh, but her gaze is just like your wife!” She giggled before Alice began to cry, surely wanting to go back into your arms.
You took Alice in your arms as Marie gave you advice which you listened to carefully. She seemed so happy to be a grandma, you knew Alastor was feeling satisfied to have given such a smile on his mother’s face.
The fourth day, Alyzée came to visit you. You were breastfeeding Alice while Alastor was packing your things. You were feeling fine now, so you knew the doctor would release you soon. You lifted your head up when you saw Alyzée entering the room.
“ Hello and congratulations.” She smiled softly with a huge bouquet of flowers. Alastor took it before going to place it toward your luggages, rolling his eyes as Alyzée congratulated you once more.
‘ Can they be original with their congratulations ?’
Alastor…
When you told the name you chose for your baby, Alyzée almost burst into tears but you could see she was trying to be strong. You took her hand in yours with a soft smile. You knew her pain, you wouldn’t judge her for crying.
“ I… I came with someone.” She said with a shy smile. She turned her head toward the door and you beamed as you saw the butler that used to serve Alice, the one who saw you growing up.
“ Hello, dear. I’m happy you are doing well.”
You all talk a little, even if at some point Alastor walked out with the butler. You gave Alice to Alyzée who held her carefully in her arms. You were still missing your best friend, how you wished she could be here with her own baby. You both would talk about your feelings and your fears about being a mother…
Once everyone left your room, you smiled when you saw Baron Samedi and Papa Legba sitting next to you. Of course, you almost panicked when a nurse came to check on you but you sigh in relief when you remembered she couldn’t see them. You looked at Alastor when the nurse left your room.
“ Kalfu doesn’t want to come?”
“He doesn't care.” He shrugged before sitting next to you. You stared at him. Since Alice was born he never held her. Why? Was he scared? Did he not care about her? “ Yes, dear?”
“ Don’t you want to hold our daughter?” You smiled at him as Alice was making adorable baby noises.
“ Why? You don’t want to hold her anymore? I can carry her if you want.” Alastor smiled as he approached his hand toward you but you shook your head.
“ Do you want to ?”
You scrutinized Alastor’s face as he looked at you with his usual smile. He didn't seem disgusted with your baby… so why?
You sighed, shaking your head with a soft smile. You knew Alastor wasn’t like normal people, that’s also why you loved him so much. You couldn’t force him to do things if he wasn’t uncomfortable. It was like you were younger, you had to tame him before being able to touch him. Maybe it was going to be the same with Alice?
“ She is such a cute baby, I’m happy you are alive and well, little warrior!”  Said Baron Samedi watching Alice who was falling asleep.
You stroke your baby cheek with a soft smile. You felt so different since Alice was born, it’s only been a few days and yet you felt stronger in a way. It was like being a mother gave you another kind of power…Talking about powers..
You looked at Alastor who was talking with Baron Samedi about his new power. From what he told them, he could manipulate fire, which you witnessed the night Alice died. But Kalfu had given him a reddish cane that had the power to trap souls inside of it, but Alastor would lose one year of his lifespan for each soul trapped.
“ That bastard… He really gave you that, huh…” Said Baron Samedi, crossing his arms against his torso. He didn’t seem happy with the news but he wasn’t furious either. You asked him if this power was supposed to be his, which he answered with an amused expression. “ We can say that…”
“ Am I the only one whose lifespan will be shortened ?” Asked Alastor. You tilted your head at his words, you didn’t even think about it.
“ Logically, no. You are bound together forever, if your lifespan is being reduced because of your deal, our little lady will also shorten her lifespan.” Explained Papa Legba with his habitual warm expression.
Alastor’s gaze fell on you. You already knew what he was thinking, he didn’t want to use this power if you were affected but… Losing one year was nothing, and you wanted to use this power against one person only.
“If we trapped Trey’s soul inside the cane, we wouldn’t need it anymore.” You smiled at him, confident. “ Let’s cage his soul and then never use the cane ever again.”
Alastor studied you for a long minute before smiling as usual. He kissed your forehead with a fondness you always loved.  You knew he was thinking about a way out of this rule Kalfu decided on the canne. You trusted him, you knew he would succeed.
“ Now, let’s talk about you, my dear. You also earned another power, flying was it?” He looked at Papa Legba with a smirk that the spirit didn’t return it.
“ Well, it is the power to understand the air, that is her new power. She can’t control the air, she is only human after all.”
“ But… you said it was a new skill of mine? Levitating…”
“ Well of course, your Telekinesis power got stronger enough for you to use it on yourself to be able to levitate. You aren’t really controlling the air…”
“ But, the air was like a storm around me at that time.” You said, looking at Alastor who nodded, confirming your sayings.
“ I know little lady, I was there.  I summoned a spirit who controls the air, they are very empathic so your rage filled them enough to make a small storm inside the room. The spirit didn’t want to leave you, so you can work with them.  You will now be able to ask the wind to do things for you, if the spirit wants to, of course.”
You looked at him confused. Why did this spirit want to work with you, you didn’t ask for them…
You nodded slowly looking around. Was the spirit here ?
“ No, no”, laughed Legba while Baron Samedi was chuckling next to you, “ they are having fun somewhere right now. As long as you don’t summon them, they won’t stay next to you. Wind is freedom after all.”
“ So, my dearest can ask this spirit to go somewhere and do things? Or is it a passive spirit?” Asked Alastor, he seemed very interested. “ Is it the same kind of spirit that I have for my fire? Or is it different ?”
“ Well, we can say that those powers you two have are from spirits. Your powers aren’t yours, remember that. They belong to the spirits Kalfu and I let into this realm. If we ever took them back, you would be powerless.” Legba stared at you with a sadness you couldn’t understand. Was it advice or a warning..?
“ But yes, to be clear, Alastor owns a Fire spirit while the little doll works with the air spirit.” Baron Samedi said as he smoked his cigar. You frowned at the spirit who seemed confused by your glare but when you showed your baby he laughed before stepping back, smoking away from you and Alice.
“ Why do I work with a spirit and Alastor owns it?” you asked.
“ Well… Alastor’s spirits are trapped with him until he dies or Kalfu decides he wants them back. You, little lady, work with them because they want to. They can go back to the spiritual realm if they deem you not worthy of their service.” Papa Legba explained.
“ But why?”
“ Haha ! Because you are working with Legba and your husband with Kalfu, it’s that simple.” Teased Baron Samedi.
You looked at Alastor who was smirking. You liked your conditions better, at least, you knew you still had your powers because the spirits liked you… Talking about spirits..
“ My shadow…!” You shouted, awaking Alice. She began to cry and you quickly tried to calm her down by kissing her cheeks, whispering apologies.
“ Oh yes, it went back to me.”
“Why..?” You whispered, feeling hurt, even more that now you knew for sure the spirit could decide if they wanted to stay by your side and share their powers with you. Your shadow left when you were in that special moment, but why..?
“ Oh, it asked me to make sure nothing would happen to you. I said I couldn’t do anything, so it stayed with me so it wouldn’t draw energy from you just by being by your side.”
You saw your husband's confused face, did he think the shadows did not feel anything? You were touched, your shadow tried to find help somewhere else… You missed it.
“ Can it come back..?”
“ Well, of course.” replied the old spirit.
You didn’t have the time to thank Papa Legba as you saw your shadow on the wall moving before dashing toward you. You laughed as it hugged you, covering your body with its black arms. You patted its head before it let you go and watched your baby in your arms. You smiled softly as it touched Alice’s cheeks which made her move a little before opening her eyes.
Your shadow was then tackled but Alastor’s which made your husband scoff at his shadow actions. You knew your lover hated being seen as uncomposed, so seeing his shadow being his opposite must frustrated him. Well, it made you laugh.
The two spirits vanished after another hour of talking. You observed your husband who was watching you and your daughter. You tilted your head, opening your mouth to ask him what he was thinking about but he cut you off.
“ She has your eyes…”
You beamed, looking at your baby who was holding a lock of your hair. You couldn’t deny it, Alice had her father’s color’ eyes but the way they seemed to shine was just like your eyes.
The day before you could leave the hospital, Victor came to congratulate you. He came with a lot of chocolate which made you beamed. You were dying to eat some since you’ve been captive here.
Alastor was mocking Victor, asking if he managed his emission at the radio. Victor seemed clearly embarrassed, saying he managed to do enough but he clearly didn’t have the same amount of audience since Alastor took some days off to stay with you.
Victor was really a sweetheart, he couldn’t help but smile at Alice when he saw her. After a small discussion, you discovered that Victor was dying to have a child too but he was still single so it was going to be difficult.
“ I’m sure you are going to find someone, Victor!”
“ Yes, and maybe they will listen to you on the radio.” Teased Alastor, making you shake your head with a small smile.
After Victor left, Mimzy came in. You were surprised she even came, you weren’t very close to her, but as she entered the room she immediately congratulated Alastor and began to speak with him.
You didn’t partake into their conversation, you mostly took care of Alice. Mimzy was the one who helped you with dancing but since Larry’s death, you didn't really interact with her, even at your wedding.
When you were discharged from the hospital, you were more than happy to go home. You could finally start this new life with Alastor.
Being a mother was challenging, you were always worried something would happen. But thankfully, your spirits were very helpful. Sometimes the wind would whisper in your ear that Alice needed to be changed, making you stop what you were doing to help your daughter.
Your shadow would also help you when you were taking care of the food, it would watch over Alice, making her laugh. You wondered if it was normal, your shadow could interact with people but you weren’t sure if they could see it… But Legba taught you that children were very sensible to the spiritual realm. If Alice was capable of seeing your shadow once she was older, then you would be sure that she has spiritual powers.
Alastor was so attentive to your needs too. Sometimes you would just fall on the bed because you were so exhausted that you couldn’t do anything more. Alastor would take care of the cooking, ordering you to take a bath and not do anything else.
Marie and your mother would come often, helping you when you felt like you were going to turn crazy because Alice couldn’t sleep and was crying since this morning.
One night, you woke up because you were sure you heard Alice crying. You didn’t notice Alastor wasn’t by your side on the bed. You saw the baby bed empty and almost fainted. Where was your baby?
You felt the wind pushing toward a direction and you followed it until you were in front of Alastor’s office. You peeked inside the room and almost melted at the sight.
Alastor was holding Alice in his arms while showing her his old radio that he had owned since his childhood. Alice was blablating like a baby, trying to reach for the radio.
“ Ha-ha. Young lady, this radio is older than you, you should be respectful.” Alastor tutted, taking Alice’s hands away from his precious items. “ Now, you need to be able to be quick minded, if not you would get bored… We don’t want that, right?”
You smiled when you saw Alice smiled and reached for her father’s face. Alastor tilted his face toward your baby, permitting Alice to touch his glasses, before looking at you with a fond smile.
“ Darling, you are awake…”
You walked toward him, caressing his cheek as he closed his eyes when he felt your touch. You looked at your baby and husband, was happiness this simple? You kissed Alastor with all the affections you could convey. How happy you felt…
Alastor would talk with Alice, never using a baby voice like Marie or your mother would do. He would talk like he was talking to an adult which made you laugh when he asked her if she wanted to try Jambalaya when she was older.
The first time Alice said mommy, you almost dropped her. You were teaching her how to talk, Alastor was sitting next to you with his coffee and then Alice just said it.
“ Mo..Mommy..”
You froze as Alastor coughed, almost choking on his drink. You stared at your baby who was giggling, her hand reaching for your face. You hugged her while semi-screaming to your husband.
“ Did you hear? Did you?”
“ I think I did. Well done Alice.”
When Alice finally said Dad, you smirked at Alastor who couldn’t help himself but smirked at his daughter, saying she better learn more words or they couldn’t have a discussion.
You took a lot of pictures with your camera. Pictures about Alastor and Alice, Alice alone, you and your daughter. Alastor would play the piano and you would sing, smiling when you saw your baby looking at the both of you with stars in her eyes.
When she took her first steps, you were sitting on the sofa, watching her as she was playing with toys that Victor had gifted her. Alastor was working and you knew he would come later tonight.
But then, 9 month old Alice just decided it was time for her to walk. She stood up, making you freeze, and then walked clumsily toward you with a big smile. You quickly opened your arms and took her against your chest, screaming in delight. You put her on the floor once more and then walked away a bit and stared at her.
“ Come to mommy, Alice!”
She tilted her head but then she did it again.
When Alastor came from work you told him not to move and put Alice on the floor. Alastor tilted his head before his eyes widened when he saw your daughter walking toward him. He crouched in front of her with a smirk, watching her as she clumsily fell in his arms.
“ Well, isn’t it early for you to already walk?”
The only answer he got  was you, screaming in joy and Alice’s happy noises.
That night, Alice slept peacefully. You were watching over her with a fond expression. You felt your husband's arms wrapping themselves around your waist and his hot torso being against your back.
“ Still nothing?”
“ Nothing that could make him fall.”
You knew, while you were taking care of Alice, Alastor was trying to find clues about Trey. You really felt useless, letting Alastor take care of everything but he told you that you shouldn’t care about it. For now, your preoccupation was to take care of Alice and yourself.
His shadow was always with your daughter and you. After what Trey did, he didn't want to take any risks. Alastor thought Trey would try to hurt you, but you weren’t feeling it. And Alastor would always take your feeling seriously about a situation.
“ I think he doesn't want anything to do with us.”
“ Why is that, dear?”
“ Well, I had a feeling so.. I asked the wind which told me..” You grimaced when you saw Alastor’ eyes changing. He was staring at you, without moving, his nails digging into your wais. You knew he was angry because you used a spirit to keep track of Trey. “ Listen.. I don’t.. I can’t let you do all the work.”
“ What if he saw the spirit? What if he felt it?” Alastor asked, his voice dangerously low.
“ He didn’t, the spirit would have told me…  But, now that he is without a wife, he cares about the testament from his father in law.. He wants the Richemonts’s wealth.”
“ Well, he is going to own it. He is the rightful heir to all of Richemont's wealth…”
You sighed, shaking your head, your fist clenching so hard you felt your nails digging into the palms of your hands.
“ He doesn’t own it. Richemont's name doesn’t belong to him.” You spat, feeling anger taking place inside you making the wind around you move your and Alastor’s hair.
“ Don’t worry, we will kill him before he manages that.” Alastor said, kissing your cheek, while his hands were moving toward your neck. You sighed as he squeezed it a little, just like your husband told you, everything was going to turn alright.
Years passed by and this is where you were right now: June 1932.
Alice was now five and she was the most beautiful little girl you ever met! She had lighter skin tan than her father but she had his brown-honey like eyes, her hair was lighter than yours, but she had long wavy locks. She had a cute red dress with a pink ribbon. She had quite a mouth, just like her father.
She was playful, clever, expressive, witty, entertaining and joyful. Marie said she was the perfect mixt of you and Alastor which you agreed. Alice could be very polite with adults, but a brat with her classmates. She was overconfident in herself, thinking she had all the answers. Of course, Alastor would laugh, testing her every time.
And of course, Alastor wasn’t taking gloves, even with Alice, so their banter would last thirty minutes before Alice ran into your arms, saying that her dad was being mean. Alastor would just say he was not mean, just better than her and another banter would start.
You were so scared that Alastor wouldn’t like his daughter but thank Gods, they had their moment of complicity.  Alice always loved going into her father’s workplace, a passion she had since Alastor showed her everything about radio. She would sit on his laps while he was doing his emission, being a good girl, never bothering her father.
You also would , as a family, dance together. Most of the time Alastor would be on the piano while you and Alice would dance. She wanted to learn to dance like you so you taught her some moves. She loved blues and jazz, making Alastor proud.
She would love gossiping, when her father would come back, you would bake something and then, Alastor would sit on the sofa while you sat on his laps and Alice would sit between the two of you, listening to what Alastor had to say. You knew she didn’t understand everything but she would listen either way, even falling asleep to both your voices.
But right now, you had another problem.
You ran after Alice who laughed, trying to catch Alastor’s shadow, which seemed to have the time of this life. You caught her in your arms, pecking her on her cheeks.
“ You are going to have trouble, young lady!” You laughed, as she was trying to be free from your arms.
“ Mommy, can we go see Dad?”
You looked at Marie who was laughing behind her hand. She was getting older but she still looked good.  You decided to visit her after seeing your mother and father. You always wondered if she felt lonely but she always told you that Alastor often came to see her, and she liked being alone.
“ Say goodbye to grandma, then.”
Alice ran toward Marie and hugged her tightly before taking Eamon in her arms. You never thought Alice would choose Eamon as her plushie but she always took him with her when she had to go outside. When you first noticed it, you asked Alastor if it wasn’t dangerous for the bound that you shared.
Alastor thought for a moment before saying that his shadow would be with you, so nothing would happen to your deer plushie. And Alice was already loving the plushie, so taking it away from her would result in a tantrum.
“ See you later, Marie.” You kissed her on both cheeks before taking Alice’s hand in yours and walking toward Alastor’s workplace.
“ Are we going to see auntie later?”
You smiled at her, since she was born Alice was calling your deceased best friend, auntie. You would take her to the cemetery and talk about her, your daughter listening to your adventures with sparkles in her eyes.
“ Not today, my baby, maybe tomorrow?”
Alice nodded before walking with you, sometimes stopping to watch inside a shop. You smiled as she stopped in front of a candy shop, she had a sweet tooth just like you. You let go of her hands as she pressed her face against the glass.
“ Mrs. Sanglar…”
You turned your head toward the policeman you knew too well. You felt a breeze of wind moving your hair before everything turned silent.
“ Mr. Felleur.”
“ Oh.. You don’t have to call me that. I’m still John for you–”
“ What can I do for you, sir.”
You saw John's face fall. It was taking every once of your energy not to kill him right now. Since Alice’s birth, Alastor and you haven't killed anyone. Alastor was too busy with work and finding clues about Trey and you were busy taking care of Alice, the house and sometimes asking spirits about Trey.
You knew Alastor had pulsions, and during those times, when he couldn’t kill, you would play in the forest. Alastor had a gun and you had a knife, the first who touched the other won. You lost most of the time, but when Alastor was taking his reward, you didn’t mind losing.
But you knew it wasn’t enough, even for you. You craved tearing an eye off from someone's face, preferably Trey’s face but well…
Because of that, the serial killer that all of New Orelans’s police were looking after, thought that the serial killer had died or managed to run away in another country. Some journalists were making stories, saying that the last victim of the serial killer had been Alice Richemont. Some were thinking Alice was the serial killer because after her death, no kills were reported.
How stupid.
You felt Alice taking your hand, making you look down. She was like you, an empath, she often could feel what others couldn’t. Now, was this just because she was very empathic or was there something else..
“ Oh… Is she your daughter..?” He asked with a small smile.
You rolled your eyes, what a stupid man.
“ What do you want from me, officer?”
You stared as John began to speak. After 5 years, John looked the same. He still had these piercing green eyes, his build was more muscular but he was still incapable of looking at you in the eyes without blushing.
“ — So , what are your thoughts?”
Ah, you didn’t listen..
“ Mommy and I are going to see Dad! We won’t go with you!” You looked at your daughter who stomped her foot on the ground, squeezing Eamon against her. You smiled sweetly, she was so cute, pouting like this. You looked at John and freezed when you saw his eyes fixated on Alice. Why was he looking at her like this?
Alice must have felt it because she tugged your arms so you could carry her. You did it immediately, staring at John.
“ Officer.”
“ So, you still have this deer plushie..”
“ Yes.”
John looked away from Eamon and looked at you but before he could open his cursed mouth, you walked past him, keeping Alice head against your chest. You didn't want to deal with Felleur right now, you haven’t seen John since your friend’s death…
You felt your shadow touch your ankle, making sure you were okay. You only smiled at it, you were stronger now, this conversation wasn’t going to make you feel bad.
You finally entered your husband ‘s workplace and smiled at Victor. He aged just like fine wine, you wondered how he could still be single!
“ Victor!” Alice ran from your arms to jump into Victor’s who spun her in his arms.
“ Isn’t the princess of New Orleans ?” Cheered Victor. He looked at you and smiled before you hugged him to say hello. “ Alastor is in his office, he finished working so you can go.”
“ Do you want to see Dad, Alice?”
“ Not yet! I’m staying with Victor!”
You laughed, before going toward your husband’s office. You knocked before entering without waiting for Alastor to open the door. You looked as your husband lifted his head up, his smile way wider than usual.. It was the smile he had when…
He knew he was going to kill.
He dashed toward you, took your face between his hands and kissed you until you felt like you were going to die from the lack of air. He let you go, making you gasp for air, and then dive into your neck, kissing it, biting it…
“ Al-Alastor.. what–”
“ I know. I found it.”
“ What?”
“ Trey Felleur, I know how to make him fall.”
You felt your heart beat faster, you felt like you had a punch in the gut. You weren’t even sure if you heard him correctly. It’s been five years. Five years and you both never discovered anything about Trey that could put him behind the bar… or six feet underground.
“ How..?”
“ We are going to use our dear John. I know from a very trustful source that Trey wants Richemont’s wealth, he needs it, it’s very important.” He said with his maniac smile you missed so much. “ But guess who will earn all of it after Alice’s father dies?”
“ … his wife..?”
“ No, no darling. Us.”
“ … You aren’t making any sense, Alastor–”
“ My Love, curse of my sanity, listen to me. Alice’s father, Maurice, changed his will, he thinks Trey is the one who killed his daughter. He came to me and I confirmed his suspicion. He then decided to give to Alyzée and us, all of the Richemont’s wealth.”
“ … But why?”
“ Well, our daughter was the key. I told him we named our daughter, Alice. I think he got emotional, I don’t understand it but he asked us to make Trey fall.” He smirked cunningly.
“ Okay… but how do we make him fall?”
“ Don’t you think he is going to try to make Maurice change his will, trying to make it seem like he didn't do it?” you nodded. “ Then, we will attack John. I will tell all of New Orleans on the radio that John killed my father because he owed him money, that is why he came so many times on my mother’s property: to hide the corpse.”
“ But why would John try–”
“ The Felleur are in need of money, dear.” He laughed, leaning back before pushing you against the wall, caging you between his hands. “ The stock market crash in 1929 destroyed them.”
You could feel yourself smiling, feeling excited in your belly. You bit your lips, breathing heavily, staring at your husband who watched you with pure madness.
“ Trey can not lose the Richemont’s wealth, so he will do anything to keep it under his control. But if we frame John as a killer, don’t you think people would look at Trey suspiciously. Alice’s killer wasn’t found, but it was John who was taking care of the case. Trey could have killed Alice for her wealth and then used John to make him innocent…”
You looked at Alastor like you could bite him so hard he would bleed so much. He was amazing.. You were shaking with excitement. You brought your hand toward his face with a big smile.
“ If we frame John for my father’s death, Trey would have to act, making him more capable of making a mistake. We could kill him and then mask it as a suicide.”
You kissed your husband so fiercely he groaned against your lips. You spined him around before pushing his back against the wall. You bit his lips then kissed them again while Alastor’s hands were already moving on your body.
You loved him, you loved him, you loved him, he was… he was!
“ Dad, Mommy, open !”
You heard Alastor swear under his breath which made you laugh. You stepped back, making sure your dress was perfect before opening for your little girl. She ran inside your husband's office and sat on Alastor’s chair with a big smile.
“ Dad, you look bad!”
“ Look at yourself first, my dear daughter.”
You smiled, leaning your head against the wall, watching as Alastor taught Alice about every button he used for his broadcast.  Alastor was now 32 and you were 30. But your husband was still as breathtaking as when he was younger. It’s been five years since you didn’t see his blood lust expression, you really missed… but…
After five years, revenge was on its way.

“His name is Joffrey.” Laenor tells you all.
“Mother, may I please hold Joffrey ?” (Y/N) asks hopefully.
“Later my darling but Ser Harwin wants to meet Joffrey.” Rhaenyra says as she looks at (Y/N) then at Laenor.
“Come boys, let us make way for your lessons in the dragon pit.” Laenor says as he takes Jace and Luke out of the room.

“Of course I’m happy Princess, why wouldn’t I be?” Harwin asks (Y/N).
“I may be young and look naïve to you and my mother but I know the truth about you and my mother and about my brothers, I know you love my mother and she loves you so thank you for making my mother happy Ser Harwin.” (Y/N) tells him and hugs him.
Rhaenyra looks at (Y/N) then at Harwin.
“(Y/N) how long have you known?” Rhaenyra asks (Y/N) calmly.
“Mother I’ve known for some time and I know you and father love each other but in different ways and that’s okay and I know I have to protect my family from everything Alicent says and everyone else” (Y/N) tells Rhaenyra and Harwin.
“(Y/N) yes Ser Harwin is your brother’s father and I hate that I have put them in danger because of it but I couldn’t help falling in love and I will do anything and everything in my power to help them and you and as my heir I have put all this pressure on you and I am sorry for that.” Rhaenyra tells (Y/N).
DragonStone

“Mother, I had a dream last night about fire and someone calling out for help.” (Y/N) tells Rhaenyra.
“You have dragon dreams, my little dragon just like your ancestors before you and they help us see what’s to come and how to stop what will happen.” Rhaenyra tells (Y/N).
(Y/N) lay in her bed but was suddenly awakened by her dream and ran to Baelon and flew off.

“Thank Princess” Ser Harwin whispers to (Y/N).
DragonStone
(Y/N) flew back home and saw Rhaenyra and her brothers waiting for her.
“(Y/N) where have you been Ser Steffon has been looking all around for you.” Rhaenyra tells (Y/N).

“Please never run off like that again but we must go to DriftMark my little dragon. Your aunt Laena has passed away while trying to give birth.” Rhaenyra tells (Y/N).
(Y/N) sat in her room and took out a journal and wrote.
“Mother told me aunt Laena passed and now we are to head to DriftMark and pay our respects and father has taken it hard; he is like a shell of himself” - (Y/N) Velaryon.
“Sailing to DriftMark was difficult father cried and was just watching the sea pass by as the dragons flew over us all I’ve tried to talk to him but he just sits there and it hurts my heart to see him like this it’s like a piece of him has died as well” - (Y/N) Velaryon.

Hi! I saw that your requests are open, if it's ok and within your rules, I can ask, Aemond being obsessed with his half sister (daughter of Aemma and Viserys), who defended him after the Driftmark incident, along with Alicent
Aemond Targaryen being obsessed with his half-sister would include:
Tumblr media
A/N: I feel horned to wright you ask, my dear anon! I'm deeply sorry, I think maybe run a little out the topic, but nevertheless, I hope you enjoy it! Also, PLEASE, READ THE WARNINGS!
SUMMARY: the journey of Aemond Targaryen, trying to have a taste of the forbidden fruit: his own half sister.
WR: f!reader, reader has long hair, violence, murderer, fire, mentions of groping, non-con groping, Aemond being Aemond. Once again, PLEASE, READ THE WARNINGS!
WORDS: +4.2k
Being the second daughter of Viserys and Aemma meant getting the utmost care and affection from your dear father, the king.
Also meaning being completely despised by your older sister’s ex best friend, Alicent, now Queen of the seven kingdoms.
Alicent done everything to make sure her kids hated the blacks as much as she did, poisoning their minds with paranoias and conspiracy thoughts; however, none of this seemed to change the mind of her second son, Aemond.
Being considerably older than him, you, Rhaenyra’s younger sister, were the prince’s object of affection, much to his mother distaste.
You’ve always thought how cute your half-little-brother clung to you at every royal event or sought your presence at the Red Keep.
Since he was just a kid, you couldn’t help but indulge on his clingy tendencies.
Without fail, Aemond always ran to your comfort when he was feeling too overwhelmed by Aegon’s bullying, burying his face on the space between your shoulder and neck.
You would calmly soothe him down, rubbing his back and lightly rocking him side to side.
However, time proved to be harsh, making you face a cruel dilemma.
It was night at Driftmark, everyone were supposed to be sleeping, yet, the shouts put everyone on their feet, looking for the commotion.
You slammed the doors open, facing little Aemond being stitched up by the maester.
You gasped, horrified, running to his side, but you were violently shoved by Alicent, who were throwing daggers with her fiercely gaze.
“You, stay away from my son!” you wobbled a few steps back. Aemond seeing this, got up from his chair, yelling at his own mother, but unfortunately got even more hurt in the processes by the pinching of the needle.
“Sweetheart, calm down, I’m here—“ “Don’t touch me!” Aemond shout out, slapping his mother’s hand away from him.
Viserys, trying to keep the situation under control, asked to Alicent to let you pass, which she complied with resistance.
Seeing her son immediately hugging your waist while rubbing his cheek on the fabric of your nightgown, made her bitter. This was supposed to be her job, giving comfort to her son on this difficult situation; not her rival’s sister.
After all the commotion and Rhaenyra being stabbed by Alicent, you were tasked to stay with Aemond on the nursery, again, by the prince’s begging and to his mother distaste. One more time, Alicent felt rejected by her own son.
Her only wish were to let Ser Cole stay with you at her son’s bed, fearing that Rhaenyra, who were sleeping at the nursery as well, attempted against the prince’s life.
Now at the ward, with a damp cloth, you cleaned the caked blood on Aemond’s hair. Brushing your fingers through his locks, you said “Some day, you will have the most beautiful silver hair of the kingdom.”
“Do you like… my hair?” the now one eyed prince asked, thanking the gods the lights weren’t strong enough to show his flaming cheeks.
You laughed, delighted by his cuteness “Of course I like, silly! Unfortunately, you’ll have to take a lot of baths to wash away the reddish stains.”
Aemond took a mental note to never cut his hair ever again.
“May I ask you something?”
With a gentle smile, you agreed “Of course!”
“Why did you defend me? Why didn’t you defended your nephews?”
You took a moment to pick the most appropriated words “Even though I’m very disappointed at your words, I would never wish any harm to come for any of you.”
Sensing the drop of your mood, the prince asked what happened. Sighing, you explained “Me and my sister will leave the Red Keep, Aemond.”
The little prince’s life turned upside down. Widening his only eye, he begged for an explanation, trying to cover his wobbly voice.
“Me and my sister talked and we decided that Red Keep is no longer safe for us.” “What do you mean?! I have Vaghar! The biggest dragon in the seven kingdoms! I can protect you!” he fisted your arms, as if you were going to vanish in front of him.
You lightly chuckled, petting his cheek “I appreciate your efforts, my brave prince, but our family is in the verge of a war. Leaving and letting things calm down is the best decision for now.”
“But…I don’t want you to leave! Take me with you, if needed, but please, don’t leave me alone!” now full crying, he caged you on his frail embrace, sobbing uncontrollably.
Returning his hug, you brought him to your lap, taking extra care to not touch his fresh wound “My little prince, you know I can’t bring you with me, your mother would kill me. It do hurt me to separate from you, but you must understand that there’s no other way. Besides, there’s nothing stoping me from visiting you or sending you ravens!”
Aemond stoped crying, now just enjoying your warm embrace as long as he could “But it won’t be the same…” “I know, my love, but it’s just a provisional measure. I’ll reunite with you sooner or later.” You said finally, kissing him gently on the top of his head.
The next morning, everyone prepared for your sudden departure. Rhaenyra informed you it would be better if you leaved as soon as possible, which Aemond strongly disagreed.
Out of the castle, your dragons waited for you, already equipped with everyone of your belongings. Turning to say good bye to your favorite prince, you and Aemond shared a hug; obviously with everything monitored by Alicent.
Seeing you flying away shattered his heart in a billion pieces. It felt like he couldn’t breath, as if a hole opened up on his chest. He felt lonely. Never wanting to feel this way ever again, Aemond promised that the next time he saw you, he wouldn’t let you go.
The years passed. Every single day, religiously, Aemond wrote you a letter, informing you of everything he did or planned to do in the day.
You happily read all of his letters, glad to know that the young boy was not as depressed as you thought he would be due to your departure.
So, as fast as you could, you wrote him back as eager as him, alway commenting something he told on his own letters, just so he knew you read and payed attention to every single word he draw on the paper.
But, after a few months, Aemond stopped receiving your letters. It came to a point where he would spend all day pestering the servants interrogating the whereabouts of your letters.
Completing a whole month of no news about you, Aemond snapped. He destroyed his bed chambers, breaking the furniture, slashing the curtains and ripping his book off the shelves.
Ser Cole and Harold were sent to contain the enraged prince, who kept screaming and kicking, while the Queen tried to reason with her son.
When the prince stopped slashing around and started to cry, Alicent cocooned him on her lap, “She promised” he murmured between sobs “she promised she’d never leave me…”
Years passed. Daemon and Rhaenyra, now husband and wife, travelled to King’s Landing to defend Jacaerys and Lucerys right to the iron and driftwood throne. Not passing this opportunity, you flied along with them to the Red Keep.
It’s been a long time since you received a letter from your favorite little-half-brother. You were a little hurt at the beginning, but then you started to be a little reasonable: maybe he was busy with Vaghar or his training. So, you opted to send Alicent letters asking for permission to visit her son. Unfortunately, you never got a response.
After the coldly reception of Alicent and Otto, you accompanied your two nephews to the training grounds.
Immediately, you spotted a man with wide shoulders and a beautifully long silver hair cascading his broad back. He was sparring against Ser Cole, your sister’s late knight.
Making Criston surrender, applauses erupted from the grounds. “Well done, my Prince.” congratulated the knight, still panting “You’ll be winning tourneys in no time.”
“I don’t give a shit about tourneys” he dismissed Criston’s flattery “Nephews, have you come to train?”
Aemond turned to Lucerys and Jacaerys, but he was caught by surprise when his eye landed on you.
Ethereal as ever, your now longer hair was braided expertly on a beautiful bun, assenting your features. The heart of the one eyed prince beat uncontrollably inside his chest.
Sensing his eyes upon you, you greeted him “My prince, it’s been a while.”
Aemond, not knowing how to carry with the conversation, agreed “Yes, it’s been, my dear half-sister.”
Seeing the interaction between the royal family, the crowd started to dissipate. Jacaerys e Lucerys left the training grounds as well, glad that the prince’s attention was not on them anymore.
Now all alone, you approached the eye-patched prince “Can we talk?” not taking no as an answer, you locked your hands on his arm, making Aemond get stiff.
So many years has passed, but you still caused him the same effect. Silently, the prince enjoyed the innocent contact, loving the felling of your torso rubbing against his toned arm.
“Long ago, you stopped sending me letters. Why?” you asked, bluntly.
“You never answered them, so I stopped writing.”
Stopping in your tracks, looking straight into his eye “The few that I received, I answered them right away. But suddenly, you stopped writing. Why?”
Scoffing, the prince replied “As I said before, my dear half-sister, you stopped writing, so did I.”
“I never stopped trying to reach you out, Aemond. I even sent your mother a raven, but she said you did not want to see me. So I ask again, my dear prince, why did you put me on arms length?”
Immediately, something clicked inside the Targaryen’s prince head. Obviously it was the doings of his own mother; she never liked you in the first place. But Aemond thought that, at least, after the incident at Driftmark, Alicent would warm up to you, but apparently, he thought wrong.
His blood started to boil. How dare his mother try to stay in the way between you two? His nostrils flared up; he locked his jaw tightly, gritting his teeth.
Feeling your soft hand, now smaller than his, interlocking your fingers pulled him away from his enraged state “Aemond, what—“ “I’m really sorry about this misunderstanding.” he apologized, engaging a hug.
Got by surprise, you hesitantly put your hands on his back, slowly giving into his embrace.
Aemond finally felt at peace. Feeling your hands around him and how his toned arms circled your waist, almost made him forget of his rage against his mother, almost. Sniffing your scent for the last time, the prince left you, promising to talk and explain everything to you after he was done with his business.
Dropping his reassuring smile, the prince stormed into the keep, going straight to his mother’s bed chambers.
Not even greeting Ser Cole, Aemond locked the doors as soon as he passed through them, only listening to the knight’s knocking.
Hearing all the commotion, Alicent beelined to her living room, facing her second son “Aemond? What are you doing here? You can’t enter my bed chambers like that, what if—“ “Spear me from your lecture, mother.”
Feeling shocked by her son’s harsh words, she continued “And this is how you speak to your mother? Your queen?”
Aemond smirked, mockingly. Suddenly, the young man caught his mother by her throat, lightly lifting her from the floor, letting her balance herself on her tiptoes “Don’t pull the ‘your Queen’ card right now, mother. If you haven’t noticed, my patience is running thin.”
Alicent fisted her son’s wrist, trying to sooth his grip. Seeing that he not even bulged, she cried out “Aemond, plea—“ “As I said before, my patience is ending. I’ll give you one chance, and believe me when I say few got this benefit: did you barred my half-sister’s letters?”
The queen’s eyes winded, but she stayed silent, probably paralyzed by fear. Seeing her state, Aemond did not needed a verbal answer: just looking at her gave away her guiltiness.
He let her break free, making Alicent instantly tear to the ground, coughing and gasping for air, uncontrollably.
Aemond’s jaw was tightly shut. Feeling betrayed by his own mother, he started to rant “You knew how important she was to me, and still, you deprived me of seeing her and did not even let me get news from her! You left me in the dark, and you saw how it was killing me, but even so, you did nothing!”
The prince’s voice escalated along with his rage, which was increasing with time. Feeling the need to take his anger on something, he threw the coffe table against the wall, making the Queen gasp in horror.
“Aemond,” she tried to reason with her son “I did this only to protect you! I thrust her as much as you do, but you must understand that the circumstances—“ “Don’t you dare lie to me again!” he slammed his hands on another table “Admit you were jealous of her, of her proximity to me. You always despised her, there’s no need to lie!”
Rilling up as well, Alicent exploded “Of course I always hated her! She’s Rhaenyra’s sister, Aemond! She would do anything to help her kin! To stole your brother’s throne!” with tear cascading her cheeks, she continued, approaching her son “And of course I was jealous, Aemond! You’re my son! Mine! But you never ran up to me when you were sad, hurt or happy! It was always her! Even at Driftmark, when her own nephew stabbed your eye, you ran up to her! You didn’t even let me accompany you at the nursery! And—“
Sobs interrupted her speech. But now that she started to talk, she was not going to back off “Do you think she genuinely loves you, Aemond? Like I do?”
The prince looked at her with warning eye “Watch your tongue.”
Feeling bold, Alicent continued, not listening to her son’s threat, facing him fearlessly “Don’t you ever thought that, maybe, she just treated you well to do this? Put you against me? Your own mother? Don’t you ever thought that she’s as cruel, manipulative and a whore as much as her—“ “Don’t you dare talk about her like that!”
Aemond pounced on her mother, now fully strangling her. His knuckles were white with his bruising grip, eye completely fogged by hatred. His nostrils was flaring up, teeth gritting madly.
With the little oxygen that lasted on her lungs, Alicent was able to call out to Ser Criston Cole, who immediately opened the doors, running to save the Queen.
Along with the knight were Otto Hightower, who coincidentally were passing by his daughter’s corridor.
“What in the seven hells happened here?” the hand lord exasperated, demanding an answer.
“We had a heated discussion, father” Alicent explained with her voice sore due to her son’s strangulation.
Sensing he wouldn’t get no more details about the incident, Otto coughed, as if putting an end to the matter “I was going to remind you of tonight’s dinner, which begins on a few minutes. Our king decided to attend it, so I was going to ask my Queen to ask her children to be on their best behavior.” Otto gave Aemond a meaningful look.
“I don’t care what this discussion was about. What matters is that this behavior can’t happen again during the dinner. Are we clear?” Alicent silently nodded, while Aemond stayed motionless by his grandfather speech.
Later, the whole house Targaryen sat at the fancy dining room. An uncomfortable silence dominated the group, tension so thick it could be cut by a knife.
King Viserys, as usual, tried to reason with his family that was bound to break in two, yet only he denied to see the truth “With that being said,” the sick king, with the help of his loyal wife, stayed up “me and my dear second daughter discussed and agreed that, in the name of peace, she shall be betrothed to her half-brother, Aegon Targaryen.”
Aemond’s heart stopped beating. The whole time, his infuriated gaze was directed to his mother, who would avert her own with all of her might; but now, he gazed incredulously to his father. He didn’t even notice when he stood up from his chair, flying to his mother’s throat.
Caos broke loose in the room. The king was immediately withdrawn from the scene, leaving Daemon alongside the others guards to separate the infuriated prince from the Queen.
On the other side of the chamber, you saw how animalisticly your dear little half-brother acted. He was no longer that sweet boy that easily cried with his older brother’s bullying: now he was a man, and a very dangerous one.
You cried hopelessly: how things take a turn like that? You thought that agreeing to the betrothal, you could finally reunite your family, but instead, here you are, seeing who was once your favorite person in the world trying to kill his own mother.
Even though Aemond were the best swordsman on the realm, he were not able to defeat Daemon and all of the Keep’s guards. “Lead the Prince to the dungeon. Tomorrow morning we will discuss with the small council what shall be decided of the prince’s future.” as Otto commanded, the guards escorted Aemond, who was now unconscious.
You offered yourself to accompany Alicent to the nursery to check upon her bruised throat. As expected, Ser Cole went along, only a few feet away from you.
“I’m so sorry with what happened, my Queen.” you morned, while helping Alicent walk through the hallway “I know prince Aemond since he was just a little kid. I would never expect such a horrifying act from him. It seems like I don’t even know him anymore.”
Moaning in pain, Alicent commented “I think both of us never truly knew him.”
Getting to the nursery, seeing the state of their Queen, the maids promptly took and laid her on a bed reserved to the royal family.
Staying by her side, she started to softly cry “I never should have tried to stay between you two, you know?”
Trying to stop her crying, you gently brushed her messed hair out of her face “Shhh… I must confess I don’t know what you are talking about, my Queen, but you shouldn’t be blaming yourself for what happened.”
Giving you a saddened smile, Queen Alicent continued to apologize “I appreciate your kind words, my dear, but I do have a portion of guilt on Aemond’s behavior.”
Gulping, you finally asked “If I may ask you: what could you have done to make him have such a reaction, my Queen?”
Seeing your confused eyes and caring acts, she confessed “I barred all of your letters to prince Aemond, and I also lied about him not wanting to see you.” your heart clenched, but still continued to sooth her hair down.
“And why would you do that? What would you gain from it?”
Alicent nipped her lips “I was afraid and jealous. My paranoia took over me. I was convinced that you were only being nice with my son just to destroy my family. Also, I’ve always envied how close you two were. Aemond never loved me like he loves you.”
“Nonsense, my Queen. Aemond always told me how he wished to make you proud. That’s why he’s so dedicated.” you brushed her off, with a little giggle.
“Well, it can also be true, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he tried his best just to impress you, my dear. My son’s crush on you didn’t go unnoticed by me back in the days.” she too giggled, remembering how flustered the boy got when others brought you up. Obviously, back than she disapproved vehemently, but seeing how caring you are, Alicent couldn’t blame his son for falling for you.
“You are so gentle and caring, I don’t blame my son for falling for you.” she looked straight into your eyes “I’m sorry for making things come to this point. If I never have felt insecure and suspicious of you, things would may be different.” she sobbed once again, feeling regret consuming her soul.
“Don’t blame yourself, my Queen. You did what you thought was right to protect your son.” you embraced her, like you used to embrace Aemond. Feeling her tears stain your dress, you let Alicent pour her heart out.
Calming a little, she sat up, encasing your hands between hers “Now that I know your genuine feelings, I must apologize for misjudging you. Yet, now that I know my son’s true colors, I’m afraid I’ve put you in danger my dear. I don’t want my son to rot on a cell, but my heart wouldn’t bear to bring you anymore harm.”
Your reassuring smile faltered. If Aemond was able to hurt his own mother, you feared what he could do to you. But even so, a part of you still believed he would never touch you.
Cupping your cheeks, Alicent continued “Now, listen to me, dear. It’s clear that Aemond is completely obsessed with you, and he won’t stop until he gets what he wants. We must take this opportunity, and send you as far as we can!”
You looked perplexed at her “Wait, but what about my betrothal? And my family? You?! What makes you so confident that Aemond won’t go after you for answers?”
Grunting in frustration, Alicent still insisted “We and the council will figure something out. Please, let me help you scape, as a form of apologizing for all the caos I brought to you.”
With the Queen’s begging, you couldn’t help but agree with her plan. Unfortunately, your conspiracy plans was cut short due to the shouts coming outside the nursery.
“Fire!”
Smelling the scent of smoke, you looked terrified at the Queen who ordered “Fast, we must reach the outside!”
Throwing her arm o your shoulders, you and Queen Alicent stumbled through the flaming hallways, crumbling with the fire.
Finally reaching the gardens, you could breath properly, coughing out the smoke off of your lungs. Once again, your feelings of security was throw out the window when you heard a loud roar.
Immediately, Vaghar stomped on the Keep’s wreckages, spitting fire at the only way out of the garden.
“Shit.” Alicent cussed, trying to stand up doing to the impact of Vaghar’s landing “We are cornered!”
Feeling despair pumping on your veins, you tried to run anywhere, getting the Queen’s wrist.
However, sensing her stillness, you turned back, facing Alicent being impaled by Aemond’s sword.
Letting out a gasp of horror, you let go of her wrist, trying to run away, but you stumbled, falling to the floor.
Retrieving his sword and cleaning it, Aemond tuck it on his belt again, now approaching you warily. “There’s no need to be afraid. Now no one can stop us from staying together.”
“You killed her…” you stated, still in shock, while gazing at her dead body a few feets away from you.
Cooing at you, like you used to do to him when he was still a child, he tuck a strand of hair that stubbornly stayed on you face “I had to, or else, they wouldn’t let us be together. Now we are free to do as we please; we could even marry.”
“…marry?” you repeated his words, dumbfounded “but, I’m already betrothed to your brother, and I never saw you in—“ “Shhh… there’s no need to worry your pretty little head about this right now, okay? That drunkard is no longer of our concern, I already took care of him.”
Still petting your hair, you scrambled with your words “I-But… I don’t want to marry you! You were my little brother, remember? I could never see you in that way!”
Aemond let out a joyous laugh, too excited to finally have you all to himself to be angry at your denial “Don’t worry, darling; you’ll have enough time to you recognize me as a man, and in the future, as your husband.”
You didn’t react when the prince’s lips crashed hungrily at yours. In your catatonic state, you could only think about how your life came to this moment, being fervidly groped by the man you once adored. Your family was dead. Now, you were all alone with your little half-brother, who claimed you as his. Realizing your future, you could only cry silently.

Notes: Uff this is a tough one, I never thought I’d write something like this, it quite evolved from Jace’s darkish spicy one shot with Alicent, so it wasn’t really a surprise that it evolved into this actually, jeje well, have fun, and i think that in the future I’ll write the other one too, “the boy next door” muahaha
Tumblr media
“She is 21 Harwin! what the fuck is wrong with you!?”
“It just happened!”, Jace looked up, almost rolling his eyes at the back of his skull
“She is the same age as your oldest child!”, you whined
“I never meant for it to get this far..”
“It’s been happening for three months, Harwin!”, your broken voice made him shiver as he played with a rubber ball against the wall of his room
“We haven’t had sex in forever”, he heard his father said
“Because you…”, he raised his head off of his pillow, wanting to heard what she was supposed to say, but he didn’t hear anything else, “I can’t do this”, Jace smiled wickedly
He knew it was a matter of time before his father screwed up the best thing that ever happened to him, well, after he and his brothers
“What do you mean?”, he asked
“I think you should leave”, you whined
“The boys are sleeping in here”, he said
“Tomorrow they go back to Rhaenyra’s, sleep on the couch”, your voice sounded so broken, the only thing he wanted to do was hug you tightly against his chest
“We can work through this”, he said, so faintly Jace almost missed it
“No we can’t”
“Think of Aerea, she is only two”
“I wish you had thought of her when you were having an affair with your secretary, of all people Harwin, like, really? that cliché?”
“She was there, when you wouldn’t…”, you said nothing, and Jace, even through the wall of his room, could feel the tension rising in the living room, just next door
You were discussing in shushes, but he could still hear you clearly, and smiled about it
“Say something”
“What would you like me to say?”
“Yell at me, throw something at my head… something…”, he said
“Your sons and our daughter are sleeping under this roof”, you sounded devastated, but he couldn’t hear tears and sobs, and that made it worse
“We can work through this”, he repeated
“No we can’t”, you said back
“We can go to therapy”, he continued
“Harwin, when I was diagnosed with postpartum depression, you wouldn’t go with me”, Jace opened his eyes widely, “In my worst days, you weren’t there in that sofa with me, but now you are willing to go to fix your own fuck up?”
“Please, it will be different this time”, he whispered
“Don’t touch me”, and then is when Jace got ready to pounce, if his father didn’t relent, he didn't know what was happening, but if he heard you asking him to release you one more time, he was going to jump his own father
“Please, my love”
“You disgust me Harwin, even thinking about touching you makes my skin crawl”
“I’m still me, I’m the same person you married”, he said
“That man died when you told me you didn’t want to touch me five months after Aerea was born, when you confessed, while drunk, that you couldn’t stand looking at my stretch marks, that my postpartum body disgusted you”
“I didn’t mean any of those things”
“But you did Harwin, you never fucked me again, not for the lack of trying, it was humiliating”... there was an awful silence, in which, Jace couldn’t believe how the fucking planets were aligning for him, “so exactly what is it that you want to salvage? your second failed marriage? too much humiliation for you?”
“No… I love you”, he heard him say, “I realize now I need help, professional help, let’s get therapy…”
“I don’t want to fight anymore Harwin”, you whispered, Jace had to stuck his head to the wall
“Good, me neither”, he said, relieved
“No, I don’t want to fight anymore, for us”
“You don’t want to fight for us?”, he asked back
“No”, Jace could laugh in relief, as his hopes and dreams were suddenly materializing
While your world was crashing down around you
The worst part? as you admitted you didn’t want to forgive him, that you didn’t want to “work” in fixing something you didn't even break yourself, you saw in your soon to be x-husband, the pain and heartbreak
Harwin had always been so easy to read, his eyes said it all, not that his mouth didn’t. If he was happy you could tell, in the way he talked, and moved, if he had a rough day at work (which he hadn't in the last couple of months), you would have known before he even opened the door, only the slam on his own car door would tell you in what mood he was in, even as he opened the door and stepped in to the house.
And now? he looked completely devastated, as you told him you didn’t want to forgive him, that you didn't want to “work things out”
“You are going to throw it all away?”, he asked
“You did Harwin, when you started to fuck your 21 year-old secretary, of all people”, you whined, “like, really? she could be your daughter”
“I did it because… I was stressed, she was there, we haven’t been… intimate, since a long time”, you where whispering now, your temper had subsided, and it was true, you had your daughter, and Harwin’s kids from his first marriage sleeping in your home, you couldn’t wake them
“How do you expect me to be intimate with you Harwin?”, you asked, eyes filling with tears of anger and humiliation, “after what you said to me that night?”
“I was drunk”
“Even if you were, actions speak louder than words don’t they? you were the one who rejected me at every turn for the past year, only started fucking me again when you started doing your secretary, its disgusting”
Your eyes traveled to the papers you had printed, that harlot had the audacity of emailing you texts and conversations between them.
The fact is, that you had grown apart from your husband after Aerea was born, you got into a deep postpartum depression, you didn’t want to leave the house, you had to admit, you let yourself go, and Harwin wasn’t there, he didn’t even believed in therapy, and wouldn’t go with you as much as you had implored him to.
But you found comfort in your daughter, and when she started growing into a beautiful, kind, smart, calm little girl, you wanted to think you flourish again, you began cooking for yourself and Harwin, no more takeout, you stopped wearing sweats, you started moving move, your body slowly coming back to where it was, but it hasn't yet, you had made your peace, he hadn't
Aerea was the perfect little girl, and that did wonders for your deep doubts and PPD.
“Please”, he whispered, grabbing your upper arms, “I can change… I would do anything for you”
“Then give me time”, you begged him, “please, move out, I can’t even dared to look at you right now”, you whispered, releasing myself from his grasp
“I have the kids a week on and off, where am I going to go?”, he said then
“Well, I’ll go, I’ll take Aerea and go to my godmother’s”, you offered, and now he looked panicked
“No, is alright, the kids leave tomorrow, how a week to start sounds?”, he asked, and you barely nodded
“Sleep on the couch”, you asked, “and tell that fucking tart that if she ever contacts me again I will ran her over with my car”
“She and I are not talking anymore”, he said
“Oh good”, you whispered sarcastically
“Please, my love”, he begged again, “I cannot afford to lose you, or Aerea”
“You already lost me Harwin”, you said, not dared to look at him in those eyes that even now could melt you, “And Aerea, well… you won’t, she is a daddy’s girl trough and trough”, there was no smiles, no nothing you couldn’t even look at him in the face
It hurts too damned much
He was your husband, you married when you were 25 and he was 36, now, four years later and a two-year old, it had faded pretty quickly
You were destroyed over this.
You met him, coincidentally, when you started an internship in the company Harwin worked at, you were not his secretary, you were an intern and he was just an executive, he was way older, handsome, so sweet, nice, in a lumberjack kind of way, he was divorced and had three children, little guys who you adored with all your life, well, at least Luke and JOffrey who ere really young when you married Harwin.
When you got married he insisted you stayed home because he wanted more children, and you obliged, you haven't worked since then, your life revolved around him, your home, and specially your child
But that wasn’t enough for Harwin.
You slept alone, when Aerea woke in the middle of the night, you went and grabbed her, Harwin slept sloppily in the small bed in her room, didn’t even wake, and you brought her to sleep with you, she was calmed almost immediately.
The next day you held her in your arms as you got up and went to make breakfast, Jacaerys, Harwin’s oldest child, he was pushing 21 right now, was behind the kitchen island, making scrambled eggs, he had woken up before you apparently
“Good morning”, he purred
“Good morning Jacey”, you greeted with smile, Aerea threw her chubby arms at him and he smiled warmly, taking his baby sister in his arms
“Good mornin’ mama”, he greeted, you thought he was sweet, he obviously was talking to Aerea, who cling onto him like a Koala
“How do you like your eggs?”, he asked
“Surprise me, I’ll put on some toast and coffee, and juice for Aerea and Joffrey”
“Already got it”, he said, with his head signaling at the table, you smiled
“You are too kind Jace”
It was summer, he was on vacations, and he joined his brothers who were still underage on visiting Harwin every other week, Harwin got a big house for all of you to fit in, and Harwin’s sons were just so kind, it was sweet having them around
If only you knew what Jace was only thinking that this was going to be his life in a couple of years, of course the baby that he was going to hold was going to be his, and Aerea would be sitting on the table by herself, eating the pancakes his stepdaddy was going to make for her.
You missed the smug look Jace gave Harwin over the table, as you didn’t even look at him, this was going to be the last family breakfast in a long time…
You also missed the way Jace looked at you and then at his father, he was the only one who knew besides you both, that it was Harwin’s last day with you as well
“Thank you for everything (y/n)” said Luke sweetly as you said your goodbyes at the door
“You are most welcome sweet Luke, thank YOU for coming”, you kissed him on the cheek and hugged him, you were going to miss him, and Joffrey, who was ten and clinged into you, you kissed the top of his head too
“bye Aerea”, he then kissed his sister on the cheek and then ran back to his car, only Jace was left, he leaned in and kissed you on the cheek, you turned your face for accident, and his lips landed way close to the corner of your lips, but it was probably a mistake
“See you next week”, he said with a shy smile
“See you”, you whispered and smiled, you didn’t have the nerve to tell him that probably you were not going to see him again…
Aerea waved her hands saying goodbye as the car drove away, you wiped the bitter tears that fell down your cheeks, your chest hurt, your heart breaking, Harwin had sneaked a bag, so he was not coming back, and neither were the boys next week…
Or that is what you thought…

Alicent is again winning the worst mother award. Like Aemond literally has to go to a sex worker to be like "I actually feel kinda bad about what I did to Luke 😞" and to be comforted instead of being able to talk to his mother about it because Alicent is seemingly giving him the silent treatment. Which yes I understand Alicent being upset with him because it was horrible what he did but she's his mother!!
And then Alicent walks in on Aegon heavily sobbing because he's grieving his murdered son and what does Alicent do? She walks right back out without saying a word and then proceeds to go have sex with Criston.
She also barely comforts Helaena and instead tries to talk to her about her witnessing Alicent and Criston in bed together. Helaena just lost a child, she does not care about what she saw you doing Alicent! Helaena, even after the B&C incident, still doesn't even have a guard to protect her. Ser Arryk was so right when he told Criston that she should have had one when she became queen and she should definitely have one now. Alicent should be demanding that her daughter has protection. Alicent is literally sleeping with the lord commander of the Kingsguard, it should be easy for her to tell Ser Criston that she wants a guard assigned to her daughter, but no one is doing that for some reason. Alicent and Criston truly deserve each other because they're both dumb as hell.
Alicent please just comfort your children 😭 it literally hurts to watch her be a bad parent. I can't get over the contrast between Rhaenyra and Jace hugging and crying together over Luke, and Alicent just ignoring her children when faced with their emotions.

"Alicent is not obligated to be a good mother to her rapist son"
Oh, please.
We're excusing parental abuse because 'the child deserved it', now? You're gonna fight misogyny by being an abuse apologist? LOL.
Keep in mind: I like the fact that Alicent was very harsh and furious and almost disowned Aegon once she found out about his sexual crime. I don't consider that reaction to be parental abuse. I don't claim that Alicent raised Aegon to be a rapist. I don't condemn Alicent for being a bad mom to Aegon, and I consider Visary as the parent who is ultimately responsible for how Aegon turned into a rapist.
All clear?
Now. Let's ignore the fact that making Aegon a rapist was a shitty and cheaply manipulative move on the writer's part to make him infinitely bad compared to Rhaenyra, a move they've now clearly regretted and trying to move away from, a move that they never had any intention of seriously examining or incorporating in the Alicent's dynamic with Aegon (she gets pissed at him for like a day then crowns him as king and acts more lovingly towards him than ever before: kissing him, hugging him, smiling fondly at him, admitting she loves him, and putting her life on the line to protect him).
I wish the writers had cared about making Aegon's sexual crimes part of his dynamic with Alicent and part of why she constantly mistreats him, but they didn't. It was only an issue between them for a day, and that was it. You can't force people to pretend like the writers cared. Your headcanon is valid (and I use it in my own fics when writing about Alicent's relationship with Aegon), but it's sadly not part of the show's text.
Let's ignore all that and focus on two facts:
First: Alicent was neglectful and abusive to Aegon way before he ever touched any woman inappropriately.
As a parent, you don't get to unburden yourself from parental obligation after you've already failed your child and contributed to their corruption. You don't get to neglect and emotionally abuse your child and then wash your hands from any responsibility or obligation when they turn into a monster. Even if the mistreatment was unintentional and you never raised the child to be a monster, you still hold some fucking responsibility because you are their fucking parent and you've already failed them. If you can't love that monstrous child anymore, the least you could do as a parent is try to make up for how you've failed them.
Second: Alicent's current emotional abuse towards Aegon has nothing to do with her disgust at his sexual crime. That clearly wasn't a deal breaker for her before.
No, she's being uncharacteristically cruel now because Aegon is resisting his role as a puppet king.
Alicent's only option to take some power for herself is through being the king's mother, and she sees Aegon resisting his role of puppet king as him being another man trying to cut her down. That's why she was deliberately cruel to him.
This is emotional abuse, folks.
So please cut this crap about Alicent being so morally superior that she'd only deliberately hurt her child for being a rapist.
Be for fucking real now.
For fuck's sake, she praised Viserys - her own rapist! - while bashing Aegon. She praised the man who showed Aegon that it's acceptable to use women as disposable sexual objects!
That poor woman's unhealed trauma is so deep and so repressed. She is not a righteous moralist willing to sacrifice her relationship with her rapist son to champion the bodily autonomy of lower-class women. She can't possibly be that.

In Need Of an Heir Part 2

In Need Of an Heir Master list
Canon Era Aemond Master list

Warnings:: mentions of death, forced marriage, talk of child bearing.
Aemond stands in the council room, silently listening to the council debate tax policy. Since the war, the coffers have not been as stocked as they had been. repairs needed to be done, and the common folk were suffering. Yet the only thing Aemond could think about was you. The little baratheon girl should be making her way here now.
The council concludes, and Aemond exits the room immediately heading to his chambers. He wishes for some peace and quiet. The war may be over, but he is still haunted by the things that happened, the things he did, and the things he'd lost. He still blames himself for the deaths of his nephews. For the death of his sweet sister Heleana. The death of his paramour and unborn child. The weight of it drowns him daily, yet he refuses to show it on the outside. He is the heir to the iron throne. He can show no weakness.
As he rounds the corner, mere steps from his bedchamber, he hears his mother's voice ring out down the corridor.
"Aemond!" She yells with a sound of relief.
He stops walking. Clenching his jaw and closing his eye briefly before turning around to face her.
"Mother" it comes out sharper than he had meant it. His mother only has him, and Aegon left after the war. Aegon is basically an invalid. This means that Aemond is really all she has left. He tries to be mindful of this. Treat his mother with gentleness.
"Your betrothed has arrived," she says gently.
For the last few weeks, whenever your arrival has been brought up, it instantly put Aemond in a bad mood. A marriage to a girl he doesn't want is not something he feels like dealing with at present, yet he knows it is his duty, and ever the dutiful son, he will see it completed.
"And?" He says coldly
"I just wanted to let you know her and lord royce baratheon have arrived and will be at dinner. Please make sure you join us. It would be improper if you did not" Alicent says arms crossed.
Aemond releases a sigh. "Of course I will be there." With that, he continues to his chambers.
Aemond makes it back to his chamber and slams the door behind him. He can finally let out a sigh of relief. He knows he doesn't have long before he has to be at that blasted dinner, but he will take the time that he does have. He sits in the chair by his fireplace and closes his eye.
"Breathe in, breathe out," he says to himself, repeating the phrase in his head, trying to ease the tension that has been almost ever present since the day he killed Lucerys. The day he started the war.
He can't sit by the fire with his eyes closed too long because then he smells it. The burning embers. Then, he can hear the voices screaming in his head. The voices of frightened common folk running for their lives in the Riverlands. He grits his teeth.
"Breathe in, breath out. Don't let your mind wander"
All too soon, it is time for Aemond to make his way to the dining hall. He wants to be the first to arrive he would rather he watch everyone enter than everyone watch him enter.
When he arrives, only jaehaera is there with her nursemaid. He finds it difficult to look at little jaheara these days she reminds him so much of her mother.
He nods at the nursemaid and jaehaera and stands by his seat.
Next, the guards announce the arrival of Alicent. She enters the room and immediately goes to Jaehaera, hugging her tightly and kissing her on her nose.
Then she walks over to Aemond.
"Are you ready for this?" She asks. Concern lacing her face.
"It's just a dinner, mother." He says cooly.
"I know. You've just been a bit.... unhappy with this arrangement. I don't want you to take it out on the girl is all"
"Do you take me for some brute?" He gives her a pointed look
"No, of course not, I just worry." her eyes dart around the room.
"The girl will be fine," he says, face stoic as the guards announce the arrival of the Baratheon siblings.
Royce and you enter heads held high. Aemond stands by his seat his face cold and stern. Alicent has her hands clasped in front of her, a gentle look on her face.
"Your grace" Royce does a deep nod toward Aemond and then the same to the dowager queen.
Your nerves are completely shot as you are once again face to face with Prince Aemond the one-eyed kinslayer.
"Your grace" your voice is small. Like that of a child as you curtsey. Turning then to Alicent and doing another curtsey.
Aemond says nothing but nods in your direction.
"Come sit," Alicent gestures toward two seats toward the end of the table. Your seat is the one to the side of Prince Aemond.
You take a deep breath, hands shaking. Just before you take your seats, the guards announce the arrival of King Aegon second of his name. With this, you remain standing but slightly bowed. He's so broken that he has to be carried into the room.
The site makes Aemonds' stomach curl. Reminiscent of their father, the decrepit man Aegon has become, is just a shadow of his former self.
When Aegon is placed next to Alicent, everyone sits.
"A prayer then" Alicent says softly as she starts a prayer.
You clasp your hands in front of you and close your eyes. You're squeezing your hands so tight. You're sure your fingernails are going to leave a mark.
Aemond clasps his hands as well but doesn't close his eye. Instead, his eye stays trained on you. He is starting to remember just why he picked you. Small, delicate, very pretty, pious. All of the things he should want in a wife. He looks to your hands and can see how tight you are grasping. She's scared of me,he thinks to himself. Of course she is. Why wouldn't she be. Aemond the one-eyed kinslayer. Who burned the Riverlands and murdered his nephew. He feels a twinge of guilt. His choice placed her here. He chose her, and now she is stuck forced to marry a man that clearly terrifies her.
Alicent wraps up her prayer and the table falls silent.
"The wedding will take place in a week" King Aegon announces.
Your entire body tenses.
"That's rather quick no?" Royce questions.
"Their firstborn son will marry my daughter Jaehaera. She will already be a bit older than her husband, so it's imperative that they have a son as quickly as possible." King Aegon says like it is the most obvious thing in the world.
The table falls silent. Before Alicent speaks up. "That may not be enough time for the proper preparations.... certainly won't be enough time for guests who need to make the trip"
"The wedding will be small, I know, but we can hold a tourney in their honor later. I need my nephew born, and I need him born quick."
The nonchalant way the king speaks of you bearing a son makes your stomach churn. As if you are just some vessel from which his nephew the future king would be born. Not a living, breathing human being.
"It may take my father longer than that to get here" Royce states
"Then you will be the one to give your sisters hand" Aegon says clearly annoyed that he is getting any push back.
Royce picks up on Aegon's annoyance and chooses not to push any further. "Yes, your grace," he says gently and without any hint of what he is actually feeling.
Aegon looks to Aemond. "And you? Anything to add?"
Aemond's expression stays blank. "No." He states simply.
Aegon then looks to you. "And how about you my lady?"
You panic by trying not to let it show on your face. "No, your grace," you say while keeping your eyes trained toward the table.
"Then it is settled," Aegon says, satisfied.
The rest of the dinner passes with little chatter. Alicent talks briefly about having a dress made for you, and Aegon talks about the feast that will take place afterward. Even Royce takes part in the conversation, mentioning his hope that there may be some eligible ladies there.
You and Aemond, however, both remain silent. You keep your eyes downcast, looking at the table while he looks ahead as if he is listening to the conversation. Periodically, he brings his goblet to his mouth and sips his wine.
Just like that your life is planned out, you will be married in a week and most likely pregnant soon after. All of this is planned, and you barely said a word.

A Lovers Comfort
Tumblr media
Character: Aegon Targaryen (HOTD)
Warnings/Notes: mentions of parental neglect/abuse, Viserys slander, mild Alicent slander (i love her tho), soft hubby Aegon, your Rhaenyra's daughter (you can chose adopted or not), war doesnt happen, aemond still looses his eye.
Tumblr media
When you where first told you where to marry Aegon you were worried to say the least. Having heard many stories from your brothers and mother, not to mention the not so fond memories of him when you were all kids. But it had been years now, surely he had matured into a man? Perhaps he hadn't with the outrage you could see of your mother's face, your whole family's faces.
Yes, your mother had long ago proposed Jace marry Helaena, to solidify the bonds between the greens and blacks. But to her this? This was different. You were her baby, her only girl and she couldn't let them take you from her. Make you bare his children. No she had to stop this.
Which led to now, all of you on dragon back heading to kingslanding. Your mother and Daemon leading on Syrax and Caraxes, while you and your brothers followed. Being greeted by the king and queen upon landing you remained silent as you were all led inside.
There you watched as your mother and Daemon enter the council meetings room along with the king and Alicent, Your brothers being sent to the training grounds and Aemond accompanying his wife, Helaena back to their chambers with a soft nod to you. Leaving you alone with a half drunken Aegon.
"You don't want me." he laughs, deeply amused at the scrunch of you face when he slumps in the seat next to you. "You've never liked me, no one does"
Rolling your eyes you take the wine from his hand, pushing him back in his seat. "Your family likes you Aegon, your mother, surely" your voice is short, seemingly bored of his presence already. Not something he's unused to.
"No.. They don't like me" It comes out soft, and barely audible but you hear him. It makes you turn slightly, staring at him unsure of how to proceed. Your heart aches and you find yourself reaching for his hands, the action makes him look up unshed tears filling his eyes.
"Father does not care for me, us. he spent so long wanting sons and dreamers yet now he finds himself with two songs and a dreamer in my sister and he still views your mother as his only child." You wince at that, sure you had seen it growing up you weren't blind to the kings dismissal of his children or fondness of your mother. you had no idea just how little he cared.
"Your mother must love you though, i've seen her with Aemond she seems rather loving?" Your carful with your words not wanting to offend your prince its his laugh that startles you. "I am no son of hers, she made that clear after aemond lost his eye. He and Helaena are all that she cares for. I'm just her drunken, ungrateful son."
You understand him now, understand his anger, his drinking. He's hurt and lost and crying out for help when no ones bothered to listen. You feel yourself move towards him, unsure why, you pull him into a hug.
He nuzzles his head into your neck and releases a breath he didn't know he was holding, letting his eyes close and his body relax in your hold. "I'll marry you." his head shoots up at your words, confused as to why you would give your life to him. "But, reduce the drinking. You don't have to stop, just drink less okay?"
"Okay." He smiles then, a true genuine smile and you lean down to press a soft kiss to his nose laughing when he scrunches up his face in protest. "Good. I'll hold you to that."
Feeling him hum against you, you move to run your hands through his hair. "Ser Christen, please in form my mother and the rest of the council that the meeting need not proceed as Aegon and I are accepting the terms of our betrothal."
"Of course Princess."

Being in a Secret Relationship with Aegon
Pairing: Aegon x Servant Reader
Warnings: mentions of sex but no smut
Word count: 804
Tumblr media
Masterlist Here
It starts with you being one of his servants
He was used to them avoiding his gaze, but he liked how it didn’t faze you
It was a comfortable silence between you both as he worked
And of course, he thought you were hot but didn’t want to say and risk you switching duties
However, when he found out it was you placing a jug of water beside his bedside and herbal tea each morning to help with his hangovers, he began requesting you specifically
Aegon got so used to your presence that eventually you began to talk
One night he got drunk and confided in you about his trauma
The next day he thought you definitely wouldn’t come back but you did
This time with lemon cakes for him without saying a word
That’s when he fully began to trust you
Aegon started to send for you to change his already fresh sheets and would have you just sit and chat
Other times when you came to do actual tasks like mop his floor, he would insist you rest in a chair while he mopped instead
He tried to shower you with elaborate gifts, but you turned him down since the other servants would surely notice
Instead, he began to set up mini feasts for you in his room so you could taste the finest foods and wines
You began to bring him roses from the garden or bracelets braided from scraps of fabric or hand embroidered napkins
He would sneak out to the silk streets but not to drink but take you on semi dates
He would take you to taverns or inns so that for at least a few hours you could feel normal
His drinking also severely lessened after your relationship began as instead of drinking his problems away, he was now talking about them
Any problems you had he did his best to solve as soon as he could
Another servant giving you issues? Claimed she stole something and got her fired. Saw a knight acting creepy towards you? Insist he got transferred elsewhere. Your clothes were getting tattered? Orders you whatever you request to replace it
Sure, sometimes he could be extreme, but he insisted you deserved the best
He started waking up earlier in the mornings so you could share breakfast before the day began
Now he can’t sleep unless he can see you before bed
Whenever he can he squeezes in a quick hug or kiss
“Just one more kiss I promise, please”
“You can’t leave me without a hug”
Even when you’re five feet away he misses you since he can’t just walk up and kiss you when he liked
This meant your private time was savoured by Aegon
As time went on you began to take more risks
Shared conversations turned to cuddling in his bed and playing with his hair
One night you both accidentally fell asleep and didn’t realise till the next morning
“Shit! Aegon get up its morning fuck,”
“Hey it’s okay- “
“What if someone finds me- “
Hearing the door begin to unlatch and quickly flinging yourself under the bed just before Alicent gets in
She knows something is up by her sons lack of whoring but doesn’t want to ruin a good thing
Speaking of whoring yous actually didn’t get physical for quite some time to start but once you did it was fucking like bunnies
The sex was very different than any of his silk streets adventures however and it only deepened his trust in you
It also meant Aegon would insist you sleep over whenever you could so he could cuddle into you when it was done
He loves getting cuddles in whenever he can
He would tell you of the dates he would take you on if everything was different
He also seriously considers getting on the back of Sunfyre and flying away with you
One day while you and Aegon are cuddled asleep in bed Alicent walks in and sees but she decides its better this way seeing the positive change in Aegon
Little does she know you were now actually hatching a plan to run away together with Aegon
When his father dies, he quickly goes to you, and you catch the next ship leaving the dock with a bag you’ve both had packed for weeks
You both sail for Dragonstone where he tells Rhaenyra of their fathers’ deaths which Alicent had kept a secret until they could crown Aegon
Unfortunately for her Aegon decided to swear fidelity on one condition; she give you a title and official court position
She does
It takes less than a few hours for Aegon to make all the necessary preparation for you to be married on Dragonstone
I suppose the relationship didn’t stay secret for very long

Ties That Bind
Tumblr media
PAIRING: Aemond Targaryen X Reader
WORD COUNT: 6707
WARNINGS: canon typical cousin-cest
SUMMARY: After spending most of your childhood in the Red Keep, it’s hard to let go of the bonds you’ve formed even with war on the horizon.
A/N: It's been over a month since HOTD and I'm really rusty with writing so if you see bad writing, pretend you don't xx Please reblog, like, or leave a comment! I love hearing from you guys 💛
You were only two years of age when your mother, Laena Velaryon, and father, Daemon Targaryen, left you in King’s Landing while they went to deal with some business in Driftmark. Looking back, it’s unlikely that they intended for your stay to last longer than a few moons.
The weeks stretched into years, and as you began to serve as your Aunt Alicent’s ward, your parents had more daughters – your sisters, Baela and Rhaena. They visited once, after your cousin Rhaenyra had her son Luke. Your mother had hugged you so tight and for so long that you feared she would never let go. And your father…he couldn’t stop looking at you.
Only a few years after that visit, a raven came to the Red Keep from Pentos. Laena Velaryon was dead. Your Uncle Viserys was gentle enough while delivering the news. He sat by your side, ready to console you if you cried. When you didn’t, he felt safe dismissing you from his chambers.
“She’s in shock.” you heard Alicent whisper as you left the room. Perhaps she was right. Perhaps it would not hit you until you were at the burial.
That was not the case.
Long after Lord Vaemond’s eulogy and everyone returned to the castle, you stood on those cliffs staring out into the sea where your mother’s body now lay. It was a strange feeling knowing that she was gone. You felt the loss in your heart, but there was no grief, no pain…you were not even certain that you would miss her.
A part of you was ashamed to feel that way, which is perhaps the reason why you felt the need to hug your father tightly when you were reunited for the first time in years. You wanted him to believe you mourned her as your sisters did. And you hoped being with your family would help you feel that pain. It was a misguided hope.
You were pulled out of your thoughts by the sound of gravel crunching under approaching feet. It was Aemond.
He walked over and stood beside you, searching the horizon with his eyes to spot whatever it was you were gazing so intently at. With you being a few years older than him, you stood a head taller, but he was growing fast.
Eventually, he realised that you were not looking at any specific thing and turned his gaze to you. He looked at you through squinted eyes due to the gusts of wind blowing his long silver hair into his eyes.
He examined your face for sometime before asking, “Are you sad?”
A simple question it was not. You thought of how you’d feel if your cousins, or Uncle Viserys and Aunt Alicent died and knew that you’d be inconsolable. You would not feel this…numb.
“I don’t know,” you chose to answer as you turned to face him, “She was my mother and I’m sad she’s gone, but…I never knew her really.”
Any grief you felt was over never getting the chance to know your mother.
These were not thoughts you’d share with anyone, but Aemond wasn’t just anyone. With no dragons to claim, you chose each other. He was your closest friend and ally, and you were certain that there was not a single person in the seven kingdoms that knew your heart better.
Aemond slipped his hand into yours and gave it a gentle squeeze. He knew how conflicted you were without the thought being expressed, and he wanted to be your comfort.
You looked down at him and smiled softly, “Thank you. For coming to make sure I was alright.”
“Mother sent me,” he said quickly, sounding flustered. He never liked admitting how much he cared.
“Of course she did,” you chuckled just as a blush coloured his cheeks, “Come, let’s return inside.”
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You were not sure how late it was. All you knew was that you’d been put to bed a few hours earlier but had chosen to read while your sisters snuck out of the room. That reading was interrupted by chatter and yelling coming from down the hall. You would not describe yourself as a particularly nosy child, but the amount of voices made you curious as to why so many people were awake at this hour.
Following the voices, you approached a room where the noise was loudest and pushed the door open. Your father, Daemon, was standing by it and as you looked around the room, you realised that everyone was here; your sisters, Rhaenyra, her children, Aegon and Aemond, your Aunts Rhaenys and Alicent, Uncle Viserys – there were even members of the Kinsguard present.
Aemond was sitting on a chair facing away from you, his mother standing in front of him. As your father pulled you closer to him, you meekly asked, “What happened?”
“Aemond stole Vhagar!” Baela spat harshly as she glared and pointed at him
You shifted your gaze to Aemond who had slightly turned around at the sound of your voice. As soon as your eyes landed on him, your blood ran cold and the air seemed to leave your lungs. There was a jagged scar running down the left side of his face, and his eye was swollen and stitched shut.
Without thinking, you slipped out of your father’s hold and brushed past your sisters, Rhaenyra and her children to reach Aemond, ignoring the looks from everyone in the room.
Aemond looked hesitant as you raised a hand to his face, your fingers brushing his cheek, but even that was too sensitive and he winced in pain.
You swallowed the lump in your throat and blinked back tears asking, “Vhagar did this?”
He shook his head and looked at his mother. You turned to face her and saw her burning gaze focused directly at Rhaenyra who was bleeding from one arm and shielding Luke with the other.
Realisation dawned on you in that moment. “Luke?” you gasped as the boy cowered behind his mother. You couldn’t believe it. What reason could he possibly have had to hurt Aemond?
“There is no need to start this quarrel up again,” Rhaenys said, “We should get the children cleaned up and put them to bed.”
Everyone nodded, mumbling words of agreement as they started to clear out the room.
“Come, Y/N,” Daemon reached out a hand as he summoned you from across the room.
You stared at him for a moment then looked at Aemond whose eye was still on you.
“Uncle Viserys?” he turned to look at you, an eyebrow raised, “Please may I go with Aemond?”
Viserys looked over your head, no doubt to your father, before letting out a sigh. “Of course, you may,” he cracked a smile, “But don’t stay awake too late.”
You smiled thankfully and returned to Aemond who was being helped out of his chair by Alicent. Almost everyone had left the room now, but Daemon remained by the door, watching you. You took Aemond’s hand in yours as you walked out of the room with Alicent and the Maester trailing behind you.
Alicent allowed you stay with Aemond for the night. She knew that both you and her son needed each other that night. He was laid on his back facing the ceiling, two pillows cradling his head to minimise movement. You climbed into bed beside him when he’d finished his tea and held his hand gently under the blankets.
“Does it hurt terribly?” you whispered after staring at him for a while.
“It did,” he said, “But the Maester’s tea is helping.”
You could see him trying to turn his head to face you completely, but wincing every time he moved it. It broke your heart to see him in so much pain. You didn’t realise when you started to cry.
“I’m so sorry this happened,” you spoke through tears as you squeezed his hand.
Aemond was quiet at first, but then you saw a tear roll out of his eye and disappear into his silver locks. “I thought you would be angry with me.”
“Angry?” you asked, wiping your eyes, “Why would I be angry with you?”
“I thought– Baela and Rhaena said–” he started through sniffles, “I should’ve given you a chance to claim Vhagar before I did.”
He thought he had stolen your chance at having a dragon, and that you would resent him for it.
“Vhagar chose you,” you reassured him, “She wasn’t mine to claim.”
Aemond seemed to blow out a breath of relief as more tears rolled down the side of his face and into his hair.
You decided to change the subject to make him a big happier, "Once I find a dragon, you could teach me how to claim it."
"And then you and I can go flying together," he said, his tone sounding lighter, eager, "We could race each other around King's Landing!"
"We could fly anywhere we want," you said, intertwining your fingers with his, "Just us."
Aemond did his best to look at you properly as a soft smile formed on his lips, "Just us."
You moved up in the bed and hugged him close. He didn't say anything even when your tears surely soaked through his shirt, and so you didn't let go even after he'd fallen asleep. Not even as you drifted off as well.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It was dawn when you suddenly woke up. The sun was just starting to peek over the horizon. You glanced over at Aemond who was finally sleeping soundly. He'd woken up twice during the night crying in pain. Only milk of the poppy could ease his plight and allow him to return to his slumber.
The Maester said it would remain like that for next few nights. Alicent seemed even more terrified for Aemond, but you didn't care. You were going to stay by his side and help him through it. When he woke during the night, you whispered that promise to him over and over again, and his body seemed to calm.
Carefully, you slipped your hand out of Aemond's and climbed out of the bed. You gave him one last glance to make sure he was still sleeping before tiptoeing out of the room and returning to your own chambers.
As soon as you entered, you came face to face with your handmaiden, May.
"My Lady," she curtseyed, "Your father is expecting you in Princess Rhaneyra's chambers."
It was an odd request, but you went anyway. You noticed that your sisters were not in their beds and assumed they would be with your father as well.
When you finally arrived at Rhaenyra's chambers, Daemon was visibly annoyed. He turned to you, his hands resting on the hilt of his sword.
"Where were you?" he asked, though it sounded more like an accusation.
You nervously glanced at Rhaenyra who was standing beside him before explaining yourself, "Uncle Viserys said I could go with Aemond."
"Yes, to escort him to his chambers, not spend the night," he snapped, eyes burning deep into you.
His anger was unexpected. You and Aemond had practically shared a bedchamber since you were small. He would often climb into your bed late into the night and you into his. After some time, Alicent no longer cared to send you off to separate rooms, knowing come the morning, you would be found curled up next to each other sleeping soundly.
Of course, your father wouldn't know that. He was never there.
"I'm sorry, father," you bowed your head, mostly to avoid his eyes.
"It does not matter," he grunted, "I called you here to tell you that we will be returning to Dragonstone today."
The news was unsurprising considering what happened to Aemond. It was good they would be gone while he recovered.
"I need you to go and pack your things," he continued, "We will be leaving soon."
You froze. He could not be suggesting what you thought.
"Why?"
"Because you are coming with us," Rhaenyra answered. Coming from her lips, it sounded more like a declaration.
You began to panic as you looked between the two. "But…I don't want to," you said as you took a step back, "I wish to return to King's Landing."
They both seemed taken aback by that. Rhaenyra shared a glance with Daemon before stepping closer and taking your hand.
"Y/N, your father is going to Dragonstone. Your sisters too," she smiled encouragingly as she crouched down slightly, "Don't you want to be with them?"
"I want to go home," you snatched your hand away, suddenly terrified of how this situation may unfold. You couldn’t leave. Not now.
Not once did Daemon shift his stance. He just stood there, weight resting on one foot as he stated, "We're your family."
It was true. But your sisters had never needed you, and you questioned whether your father ever did either. What had changed? Why did he want you with him now that your mother was gone and Aemond needed you the most?
"Aemond is family too," you whispered, your gaze never leaving your father's.
Daemon rarely lost composure, but in that moment you saw anger awakened in him. He titled his head and narrowed his eyes before moving closer to you.
"That little cunt stole your mother's dragon," he hissed, "Your dragon."
That set you off. Your fists clenched at your sides and your skin felt like it was burning.
"You cannot steal a dragon," Daemon reacted to that like you had spit in his face, "And I don't want to go to Dragonstone, I don’t want to leave Aemond. I want to return to King’s Landing with Uncle Viserys.”
Daemon was silent as he watched you. He meant to intimidate you, but you were too angry to be affected. Rhaenyra’s eyes were trained on him, seemingly concerned about what he might do.
"I am your father,” he said after a moment’s silence, “You will do as I say."
He brushed past you as he walked out of the room and that was that. Tears began to well in your eyes as you looked down at the ground. You promised Aemond that you would be there for him. You promised…and then you didn’t see him for six years.
***
In some ways, being on Dragonstone had not been the worst thing imaginable. You cherished the opportunity to form relationships with your sisters, and your cousins Jace, Luke and Joffrey. But even as you grew closer to them, they could not replace the people you had lost.
For a time, the relationship with your father was improved. It was only in recent years when his many attempts to have you betrothed had been rejected by you that your relationship soured. You could not provide him with a reason for your rejections despite the suitability of many of the matches, and so he washed his hands off of you.
Your father loved you. You knew he did. But he loved other things – and people – more. It was a reality you came to accept in the years living with him.
When Rhaenyra announced that the family would be travelling to King's Landing on short notice, you could barely contain your excitement. You did not care that it was to go and defend Luke's claim to the Driftwood throne, all that mattered was that you were going to see your family again.
Arriving in King’s Landing on dragon back for the first time was surreal. You did not wait to see the Senryr taken into the dragon pit by the keepers, nor did you wait for your sisters or cousins when you landed. The only thing on your mind was finding Aemond and...well, you did not know what you would do or say yet. But you knew you needed to see him.
Starting at Aemond's old chambers, you were surprised to find Alicent coming out of the room.
"Aunt Alicent," you breathed as she wrapped you in a hug.
She was beaming when she pulled away, even stepping back to take in your appearance. "Y/N," she gasped and cupped your face in her hands, "How you've grown!"
You smiled and looked to your feet as heat rose to your cheeks. "How is Uncle?" you asked, offering a sympathetic smile.
Her face immediately dropped, eyes glazing over as her lip twitched. She didn't have to say it. It was as everyone feared – he did not have long left in him.
"I'm sorry."
She nodded, accepting your condolences before plastering another smile on her face, "Were you looking for Aemond? He'll be on his way to the throne room. For the hearing."
"I'll go there now," you pecked her cheek and hurried down the hall.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The sheer amount of people filtering into the throne room was clear indication to the importance of this particular hearing. Rhaenyra was standing with your father at the very front of the room on the right side of the aisle. You bowed your head and briskly walked towards them to stand with your cousins.
On the opposite side of the aisle, you spotted white hair very similar to yours on three heads. One of them was sweet Helaena, and Aegon was more than likely the man standing next to her looking bored. Towering over the both of them was Aemond. His hands were clasped behind his back, long hair cascading over his shoulders. The eye patch gave him away instantly.
You sucked in a sharp breath when you saw him, and as if he’d heard you, he snapped his head in your direction. Even from this distance, you saw the way his eye widened ever so slightly upon making eye contact. Every inch of you wanted to dart across the room and throw yourself into him, but you knew what the consequences of such a public display would be.
Where you were anxious and jittery, Aemond froze at the sight of you. He'd gathered that you were in the Red Keep when he encountered his nephews in the courtyard, and yet he was still so unprepared to see you again. Instantly his walls began to crumble and he found himself scrambling to keep them standing.
You smiled at him and he melted, but he could not let you see that. Instead of returning it, he turned away from you and faced the Iron throne. It was an unexpected action, but it didn't hurt yet. Perhaps he had not actually seen you.
You kept your eyes on him for the rest of the hearing, hoping to gain his attention – to no avail. When the entire farce of a hearing was ended, you tried to call out to Aemond, but he disappeared amongst the crowd of people.
He spent the rest of the day avoiding you, much to your frustration. It is why you were glad to hear that Viserys had requested to have his entire family join him for dinner. Before Aemond could protest or find another place at the table, you occupied the seat next to him, hoping it would force him into acknowledging you.
It did not work.
Despite being sat right beside him, Aemond made no move to speak to you or even look in your direction. He was actively ignoring your presence, and it would be a lie to say it did not cut you deeply.
It remained that way for most of the night. At one point, he actually turned his chair away from you to watch Jace and Helaena dance. It wasn’t until after his toast to your cousins and the scuffle which followed that he acknowledged your existence.
Everyone but you was on their feet, a few guards held Jace and Luke back as Aemond stared your father down. For a brief second he glanced in your direction, a second that felt like a lifetime, then he turned, hummed to himself in annoyance, and strutted out of the room. Without thinking about it, you rose to your feet and followed him out, ignoring the stares of confusion from your father and Rhaenyra.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Outside Aemond's room, you raised a hand, intending to knock, but decided against it and pushed the door open. The two of you never knocked in the past, why should it be any different now?
Aemond was sitting in a leather chair by the fireplace, one hand resting on the arm while he cracked the knuckles of his other hand. He paused when you entered and tilted his head slightly to see you with his right eye. Once he confirmed it was you, he turned back to the fireplace, not acknowledging you at all.
You scoffed and looked around the room, spotting a gold chalice and some wine sitting on a high table on the opposite side of the room. You walked over to it and filled the chalice before approaching Aemond. He finally lifted his head to look at you when you held out the cup for him.
“What are you doing here?” the smoothest Valyrian danced off his tongue as he accepted the wine from you.
You smirked and raised a brow. “He speaks,” you said, “I was beginning to fear that you had taken a sacred vow of silence. One that only applies to me, of course.”
He scoffed and took a sip of the wine, ignoring your comment. Despite his attempts to pretend you didn’t exist, you did not miss the way his body tensed as you sat down on the arm of the chair.
“Your Valyrian has improved.” Improved was an understatement. His accent was perfect.
Aemond shook his head and downed the drink before rising to his feet. “‘Tis impolite to enter one’s chambers without first knocking,” he said, his back to you.
The hostility was less amusing now and increasingly annoying. “You’ve grown bitter,” you narrowed your eyes at him from where you were seated.
He turned to face you and cocked his head to the side, “I’d like to think I’ve grown honest.”
“It was unnecessary,” you said, referring to his toast.
He smirked when he caught on to what you were talking about. “It was fun.”
You cracked a smile at that and Aemond’s lip twitched, his eye gleaming. Slowly, you pushed yourself off the chair and walked closer to him. He didn’t even flinch when you came so close that he could feel the warmth radiating off of you.
“You don’t talk as much you used to,” you whispered, your tone sad “You don’t smile either.”
He seemed so…guarded. He was looking at you like you were some kind of predator that he had to protect himself from. You wanted to reach out and touch him, but feared how he might react.
“Much has changed,” he said with the tiniest shrug, “It has been six years.”
Six years of yearning, you wanted to say.
Time had passed, it was true, but that did not explain why he felt so far from you. Or why he’d been ignoring you since you arrived. Bonds like the one you shared are not so easily damaged, nor broken.
“You have changed,” you said, eyeing him in the least discreet way possible.
He too drank you in unashamedly, taking his time from the bottom of your embroidered silk dress, to the top of your silvery-white, curly hair, before finally meeting your gaze. He looked seconds away from saying something, or doing something, but then he caught himself and shook his head.
“As have you,” he chose to say instead. The words came out steady, but when you glanced down, his fists were clenched tight. You reached out to take his hand and he moved back.
"Why are you being like this?" you snapped, though you never raised your voice, "What have I done to upset you?"
He was taken aback by your straightforward question. His plan had been to maintain a wary distance from you until you left again. He did not want to dig into memories of the past...but he couldn't deny you answers when you looked at him with such desperate and confused eyes.
He licked his lips and confessed two words, "You left."
You stepped back in surprise. That was it? Of all the things you may have done to earn such a cold reception from him, leaving him all those years ago never once crossed your mind.
"What?" you practically spluttered.
“You abandoned me,” he reiterated.
“Aemond, you can’t possibly be angry with me over that,” you smiled nervously though you were confused, “You must know I had no intention of leaving you.”
His voice was measured, unemotional. “And yet, you did.”
“I was a child. I could not have prevented them from taking me anymore than you could have.”
He was unconvinced and looked away from you.
“Aemond.”
He didn't respond.
“Aemond, would you look at me.” You grabbed his chin to force him into facing you. With reluctance, he met your gaze.
“My mother had just died. And seeing you hurt that night, pained me more than standing at her funeral,” you whispered it like a dark secret, “That is how deeply I care for you.”
Aemond was stubborn – more so than you – but his features softened at your admission.
The day he woke to find that you had left was the worst pain he had ever felt. He'd been inconsolable for weeks, even attempting to fly Vhagar to Dragonstone and bring you home. But when the tears dried and the irrational thoughts quieted, Aemond came to understand what he had to do to move on. He chose to forget the things he had lost. He chose to forget you.
Despite what you’ve admitted, you do not look away from him shyly, or run away in embarrassment. You keep your gaze steady so that he knows your heart is true.
Your voice trembles slightly as you lower your hand from his chin and ask, “Do you understand?”
He hesitates before nodding slowly. Not once since the day you left had he allowed himself to imagine that you might say anything like that. He spent years hating that you were his weakness. Resenting the fact that years later, he still felt the ache of missing you when he lay in bed at night and you were not there beside him.
And even though he successfully hid his true feelings from everyone else, he could never fool himself.
“I’ve often thought about that night,” he muttered so quietly that it was as if he was speaking to himself, “When I do, this,” he points to his eye patch, “is not the loss I mourn. It is you.”
You sucked in a sharp breath.
“You cared for me?”
“I breathed for you,” he said, then dropped his gaze to the floor in embarrassment, “I fear I still do.”
You let out an exasperated laugh, "Aemond, why would that be something to fear?"
He looked up from the ground and met your eyes with an intensity that made your smile falter. Your heart began to race as he took a step closer, and almost instinctively you moved to him.
He raised a hand to the side of your face and tucked your hair behind your ear. Then he let his hand fall to your cheek where he stroked it gently and lightly brushed your bottom lip with the pad of his thumb. You sighed and leaned into his touch, raising a hand to his and holding it just where he cradled your face.
"I fear it," he started as he looked over your face, committing every detail of it to his memory, "because you will not stay. And you are not mine."
"Now is not then," you whispered, "If you want me, Aemond...then I am yours."
With that, he leaned down, his lips hovering over yours as he paused to take in your scent – sweet and earthy – before capturing them in a kiss. He knew that after this there was no returning to what once was. There would be no 'forgetting' this time. He knew this, and he eagerly accepted it.
His hands gripped your waist. You pulled him closer, wanting – no, needing to disappear into him. His scent, his touch, his kiss. It was dizzying, euphoric, and you fell into him happily.
"We must stop," you breathed between kisses, "Anyone could find us."
Aemond didn't respond as he chased your lips fervently.
"We must stop," you repeated, this time gently pushing away from him. You stopped to gather your thoughts, one hand pressed against his heaving chest. You could not look at him, no. If you did, you feared you would not leave this room again.
"We ought to return to the table," you said as you began walking to the door, "You and I have been gone for too long, they will begin to search for us."
You waited by the door until you heard Aemond's footsteps follow behind you. He stopped beside you, one hand on the door handle.
"You'll stay this time," the familiar lilt at the end of a question being asked was missing, but the hesitance in his voice and the pleading look in his eye showed he was asking.
You slipped your hand into his, just as you had done so many times as children, and with conviction answered, "I promise."
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
By the time you returned to the dinner table, most of the food had already been cleared away. Luke, Jace and your sisters were dressed in their cloaks and being escorted outside by the guards while your father and Rhaenyra spoke to Alicent and Otto.
You shared a confused glance with Aemond before approaching the four.
“What is happening?”
Your father's head snapped up at the sound of your voice. “Come,” he motioned you over, “Your things are already in the carriage outside.”
“In the carriage?” you frowned, “What for? Where are we going?”
Rhaenyra sighed heavily, "Back to Dragonstone."
“But we've only just arrived,” you chuckled, "Why the hurry to leave?"
An answer was not given, but Rhaenyra's quick glance over your shoulder to Aemond said it all.
“We never intended to stay long,” she offered instead.
Your father motioned you over once again, “Say your farewells then go and get Senryr.”
The request came out like a man ordering his pup to fetch his shoe. He had no sympathy for the position he was forcing you into yet again, and did not care to pretend to show compassion to you. His daughter. It did nit make you sad, it made you angry.
“No.”
Daemon reacted as though you had just slapped him across the cheek.
“What?”
You stepped back to stand by Aemond's side. “I said no,” you repeated, jutting out your chin, “You cannot make me leave, Father. Not again.”
He narrowed his eyes at you. “I am not asking, Y/N,” he spoke slowly, “You will do as I say.”
It used to terrify you when he spoke in that intimidating tone, even though you knew your father would never harm you.
Perhaps that knowledge is what gave you the courage to say, “I am not leaving.”
Daemon was not often challenged, especially not by his children. He'd known from a young age that of all his children, you had inherited the worst of his temper. Your defiance was not only aggravating, it was insulting.
He stepped towards you, but before he could take another, Aemond moved in front of you protectively. The bold action stunned everyone in the room — including yourself.
Aemond was a good few decades younger than Daemon and therefore little challenge to your father. His wordless threat only indicated one of three things: stupidity, arrogance, or...
You ignored the suspicious looks thrown between you and Aemond as you placed a hand on his arm and squeezed it gently. He broke his stare down with your father and looked down at you. Upon seeing the pleading look in your eyes, he stepped back to your side but remained close enough that your arm was still brushing against his.
Daemon was seething. He could see what was happening right before his eyes. Many years back when you'd refused to return to Dragonstone, it was because of Aemond. All those proposals you had turned down were because of Aemond. Even your excitement to return to King's Landing – it was because of Aemond.
He'd known all along, but he'd never spoken it aloud, thinking it beneath him to even entertain the idea that his eldest daughter cared for a Hightower – be him Targaryen or not. But how could he ignore it when it was being thrown in his face like this?
"He," he nodded his head to Aemond, "is the reason you want to remain here?"
Rhaenyra quickly stepped in to diffuse the situation. "There is no need for this," she looked directly at you as she spoke before turning to Alicent, "I will see the children back to Dragonstone, then I shall return on dragon back."
That barely seemed to satisfy Daemon. And if Rhaenyra was suggesting that she could return and convince you to leave, she would be in for a surprise. Alicent was the only one who seemed happy with this solution. She embraced Rhaenyra with a regretful smile as Daemon walked towards you.
Your body stiffened as he approached. He glared at Aemond before looking down to address you, "You may not have to choose today, but you will soon."
He gave you a long look before placing his hand on the hilt of Dark Sister and turning to leave the room. Deep down, you knew he was right. Your Uncle was fading fast, and once he was gone, lines would be drawn and sides would have to be chosen. You only hoped that you had some time before then.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It was difficult to part with your sisters after growing so close over the years. You would miss not having them around, but you knew they would never stay. They still hated Aemond for what happened that fateful night years ago, and neither could understand why or how you were able to forgive him. You didn't know how to tell them that to you, there had been nothing to forgive.
You remained by Aemond's side as Alicent showed you to your chambers, each of you like the other's shadow. Alicent was walking ahead of you and when she noticed you trailing behind, she stopped and turned to look at you both.
She raised a brow as she looked between you. "Aemond, I believe your room is down the other way," she pointed to the hallway leading in the opposite direction to where you were heading.
Aemond glanced at the hallway, then to you, and back to his mother. He seemed lost.
She ushered him away, "You may have spent your younger years sleeping in each others' beds, but there will be no more of that."
He nodded once and gave you a final look before walking off to his own chambers. You followed Alicent to the end of the hall where you parted ways at your room.
She was barely gone two minutes when you heard a knock at the door. You knew who it was before you even opened it. Aemond stood there under your door frame, his shoulders hunched slightly, no doubt feeling guilty for defying his mother.
You didn't say a word, you simply stepped aside to let him in. He kicked the door closed with his foot and moved closer, his knuckles brushing against the back of your hand.
"I want to sleep here with you. If you'll have me."
You turned and walked to a table at the other end of the room. You removed your bracelets, earrings and necklace and placed them on the table. Brushing your hair to the side, you looked over your shoulder at Aemond.
"Can you help me with these laces?"
He looked unsure at first before following you. His fingers trailed along your hip before finding the two laces and undoing them for you. There was a pause as he debated what to do next, then he stepped away and sat down on your bed just by your pillow.
You chuckled to yourself at his level of restraint and removed the sleeves of your dress, letting it fall to your feet. Stepping out of the dress, you could feel Aemond’s eyes on you as you removed the pins and ties in your hair and placed them on the table by your jewellery. There was no seduction in your actions. You were simply undressing, and he was simply watching you do it.
When you turned to look at Aemond, he had already kicked off his shoes and was now leaning against your headboard. He sat up when he saw you approaching, his gaze never wavering. There was so much love in his eyes, but it didn't make you shy, it made your heart race. You stopped when you were standing between his legs, resting your arms on his shoulders.
“How come you let your hair grow so long?” you asked as you ran your hand through his long, white locks. He didn’t answer, however. His eye was focused on something else.
His hand slid the hem of your slip higher up your thigh as his brow furrowed in concern. “What caused this?” he asked as he traced his fingers over two jagged scars on your knee and up your thigh.
“Senryr,” you sighed at the feeling of his touch, “She clawed me when I went to claim her. Tore my favourite dress to shreds.”
“Why did you go alone?” he asked, tracing higher to the very tip of the scar on your hip, “She could have killed you.”
You smiled as you looked down at him. “You claimed Vhagar alone,” he looked up at you as you gently stroked his jaw with your finger, “Perhaps if you’d been there to teach me, she never would have hurt me.”
He laughed then. A low, quiet one, but a laugh nonetheless. It lit up his entire face and made his eye sparkle. You felt your heart swell at seeing him so happy, so content.
You climbed over him and into the bed, slipping underneath the blanket, "Are you going to undress?"
He shook his head and climbed in after you, "I'm comfortable like this."
He lay facing you, his arm resting on your waist as he drew circles on the small of your back over your satin slip. You raised a hand to his cheek and touched the bottom of his scar.
"It wounded me when you ignored me today," you said to distract yourself from the question you wanted to ask.
Aemond chuckled, "That was the intention when I did it."
You rolled your eyes and giggled, but your gaze returned to his eyepatch. What did it look like under there? Aemond noticed your furrowed brows and understood what was playing on your mind.
Your hand hovered over the eyepatch, "May I?"
After a moment's hesitation, he nodded quickly, and removed it before he could change his mind.
A deep blue gem in the place where his left eye used to be. A sapphire, glimmering in the candlelight.
"Beautiful," you whispered absentmindedly as you stroked his cheek just below the sapphire eye.
He softened and pulled you closer to him, placing a light kiss on your lips. You curled into him and tucked your head under his chin, releasing a deep sigh.
Aemond's hand found yours under the blankets, and he smiled when you threaded your fingers together. There wasn't much he wanted to say. He just needed to be here with you, listening to your quiet breathing and feeling your heartbeat against his chest.

The Adopted Princess| Dark! Targaryen and Velaryon Boys x Reader (Aegon II, Aemond, Jacaerys, Lucerys) V
Tumblr media
"Your father and I going to miss you so much, my dear" Rhaenyra says as she and Laenor, both, pull you into a tight hug.
"Me too"
You pull away from them, your lips quivering as you try to stop yourself from crying.
However, when Jacaerys and Lucerys hug you, that's when you break down.
"That's not fair, you are supposed to be my wife, not his, I would treat you much better than Aemond" Jacaerys exclaims angrily.
"It is all my fault, (Y/n), please don't leave!" Lucerys cries out, feeling guilty that he is the reason why you are leaving them.
"I believe the king already arranged the whole thing before the fight, so don't blame yourself, Luke" you assure him.
"But it is true, we dragged you into this fight and you even got hurt because of us" Rhaena exclaims.
"And Aemond is cruel, and he might treat you badly" Baela adds with a sad tone.
You stay silent, wanting to say that Aemond has been treating you kindly and you two were exchanging letters but decided against it.
Just because he is your friend and future husband, it doesn't excuse him from calling your brother 'bastards' and also claiming Vhagar, even though the dragon is the one who chose her rider.
"If he ever upsets you, I will shove my sword into his good eye" Daemon states all of a sudden, smirking at you.
You smile at his overprotectiveness, nevertheless, you still can't believe that the rough prince is your grandfather.
"I wonder why my father didn't allow you to raise me" you inquire.
"Because he is chaotic," Rhaenyra says, grinning at her uncle.
"But, aren't all dragons chaotic though?" you point out playfully, easing up a bit.
Daemon stares at you, realizing how you have his son's smile and playful attitude.
"I'm sorry to interrupt, but the ship is ready to departure"
Alicent says after walking up to you and your family like she didn't try to poke out Luke's eye the other day.
"I'm ready to leave, your highness," you say timidly, which made the queen smile, and link her arm with yours.
"Oh dear, no need for formality, just call me mother" Alicent insists, making Rhaenyra glare at her angrily.
While you and the queen ascend the ship, Lucerys notices Aemond smirk down at him and Jacaerys from the ship, mocking them.
As if he is trying to say, that 'you might have taken my eye out, but I claimed Vhagar and (Y/n)'
However, Aemond doesn't realize that the real danger is his older brother.

You stare down at the water, tears still wet on your cheeks while anxiety is eating at you in slow motion.
Even though the queen showed good intentions toward you, yet, you still feel afraid, after all, you don't have anyone by your side in King's landing if something would happen.
Yes, the king promised your mother and grandfather to keep you safe, something which Daemon laughed at, due to the king's declining health.
If something would ever happen between you and Aemond, let's say a fight for example, who would stand by your side?
No one, absolutely no one.
"Princess?"
You quickly turn around to face Larys Strong, surprised to even see him.
That man never approached you, sometimes you would catch him inspecting you just like he does with everyone, but he never spoke to you.
"Lord Larys," you say, softly, trying to look anywhere so he doesn't see your red-shot eyes.
"It saddens me to see you crying my princess," the cunning man says, offering you a handkerchief to wipe your tears.
You take it from him, smiling in gratitude at his kind gesture.
"May I know what worries you, princess?" Larys inquires, standing beside you.
"I just feel like I'm a bargain of peace in this arranged marriage" you confess.
"Oh, I don't think you should think of it in this way, my dear, it will benefit you greatly" you frown in confusion.
"How would it benefit me?"
Before Larys could answer you, Aegon storms up to you.
"There you are, I have been searching everywhere for you..." Aegon stops when he sees the new lord of Harrenhal.
"Greetings, Lord Strong" the Targaryen prince greets the man with a spiteful tone at his instruction with you.
"My prince" Larys greets him back, bowing his head a bit before Aegon turns his attention fully towards you.
"You need to rest, this trip will be long and tiring, and your stupid dragon almost bit my finger off" you roll your eyes at him.
"That's because Quicksilver hates arrogant brats" you mumble, rushing away before Aegon asks you what you just said.
Aegon turns to Lary and sneers at him.
"Stay away from her, you fucking creep"
With that, Aegon follows after you, leaving him standing alone.
Larys would do anything but stay away from you, that's for sure.
After all, your father was a dear friend of his.

"What are you doing here, Aemond?" You question the said boy, looking at him sleepy.
"I came here to apologize about what I did to you the other day, I had no right" your gaze softens at his apology.
"You should also apologize to Jace, Luke, Baela, and Rhaena when you meet them again" Aemond scoffs at this sentence.
"They started it, they attacked me first because Vhagar accepted me as her new rider" the silver-haired boy defends himself.
"You called my brothers bastards" Aemond chuckles.
"Aren't they though?" you narrow your eyes at him.
"No, they are not-" he stops you.
"Yes, they are, and if you are to become my wife, then you must stand by my side and support my views"
You stay silent, not knowing what to say.
It's true, that once a woman gets married into her husband's family, she is expected to support her husband even against her own family.
Aemond grabs your hands into his warm, sitting on the edge of the bed.
"My family is now your family, you have to support Aegon's claim to the throne, by doing that, you are doing your duty"
You gulp, coming to realize the fact that Aemond has changed.
"And if I don't?"
His grasp tightens on your hands, his stare becoming colder.
"Then I will force you to do your duty"

Then
Aemond and (Y/N) grew closer as children- (Y/N) was to be a lady in waiting for Princess Helaena but (Y/N) and Aemond grew closer and were always together even King Viserys noticed their friendship.
“Alicent, look at how happy they look together” Viserys says.
“Yes, he seems quite taken with her. I think we should wed them to each other?” Alicent asks.
Jacaerys looks down at (Y/N) and Aemond talking and laughing, Jace leaves and makes his way to (Y/N)’s room and goes through her dresses and takes out a light blue dress and leaves it out on her bed and leaves a note on top and leaves her room.
“My Doe,
I love this dress on you so please wear it tonight for dinner”
(Y/N) makes her way to her room and sees the dress and note and smiles thinking the note was from Aemond.
Jace watches as (Y/N) sits next to Aemond and thanks him for the note, Aemond looks at (Y/N) confused then he looks over at Jace and sees him looking at him angrily and Aemond smiles back at (Y/N) and kisses her hands and tells her he’s glad she liked it.
Jace tries to get closer to (Y/N) but Aemond was always by her side but everything changed when his mother moved them to Dragon Stone. Jace was angry knowing he had lost the one person he loved most.
Driftmark
(Y/N) walks over to Baela and Rhaena as Jace was talking to his mother.
“I’m sorry for the loss of your mother” (Y/N) tells Baela and Rhaena as Aemond walks over and and tells Baela and Rhaena he’s sorry for their loss as Aemond pulls (Y/N) close to him as Jace walks over with Luke.
“Will you take me to my room, Aemond?” (Y/N) asks Aemond.
“Yes of course” Aemond tells (Y/N).
(Y/N) is woken up by loud knocking (Y/N) sits up and runs to open the door and sees Aemond standing there.
“Aemond, what are you doing here?” (Y/N) asks Aemond.
“Come with me I’m going to claim a dragon!” Aemond tells (Y/N) excitedly.
(Y/N) watches on as Aemond claims Vhagar and (Y/N) sees Aemond climb up Vhagar and flew away and landed and he ran to (Y/N) and hugged her tightly.
“Aemond you did it, you claimed the largest dragon in the world!” (Y/N) says happily as she hugs Aemond.
All the happiness was short-lived as Baela and Rhaena make their way over with Jace and Luke behind them.
Rhaena and Baela run at Aemond and start hitting him as (Y/N) pulls them off Aemond and punches Baela in the face and then punches Rhaena in the face as Jace and Luke fight with Aemond (Y/N) holds Baela and Rhaena away from fighting with Aemond but Baela pushes (Y/N) as Luke runs at Aemond with a dagger and cuts him.
(Y/N) yells out for help as she holds Aemond.
Six years later
(Y/N) sat in her room at Storm's End waiting for Aemond to visit her like he always did. Vhagar lands as (Y/N) runs out and meets Aemond and runs into his arms and holds him close.
“I’ve missed you my love” (Y/N) whispers into Aemond’s ear.
“I’ve missed you to my love” Aemond whispers to (Y/N).
“I must speak to your father first my love” Aemond tells (Y/N).
“Aemond what has happened?” (Y/N) asks Aemond.
“My whore of a sister has won her claim for her bastard son and my father fought for her so I am here to tell your father that I wish to marry you here today” Aemond tells (Y/N).
(Y/N) kisses Aemond softly and holds him close as they walk to (Y/N)’s chambers.
“Aemond I love you” (Y/N) whispers to him.
“I love you to (Y/N)” Aemond whispers back.
Aemond lays (Y/N) down gently on her bed as he kisses his way down her body as he takes out his dagger and cuts away her dress and leaves her bare underneath him, he kisses his way up her legs and opens them wide and makes his way to her cunt as she moan out his name.
“Oh gods Aemond!” (Y/N) moans.
Aemond slowly puts his fingers slowly along (Y/N)’s wet cunt as he pushes his fingers into her slowly as (Y/N) moans out his name.
“That’s it my love moan out my name for all to hear” Aemond whispers into (Y/N)’s ear.
(Y/N) pulls Aemond back up and kisses him softly and holds him close.
“Please Aemond!” (Y/N) moans.
“Please what, my love?” Aemond asks (Y/N).
“I want you to fuck me Aemond.” (Y/N) says.
“Oh I will fuck you my love” Aemond tells (Y/N).
Aemond holds (Y/N)’s legs open as he strokes his cock and slowly pushes his cock in to (Y/N) as she moans out and clenches around him tightly and slowly relaxes as Aemond pushes all the way in and waits for (Y/N) to adjust to him.
“Aemond my love please move” (Y/N) tells Aemond.
“Oh my love do you want me to fuck you nice and hard or nice and slow?” Aemond asks (Y/N) as he pulls out slowly and thrust in softly.
“I want you to fuck me nice and slow then hard and fast” (Y/N) moans out into Aemond’s ear as she clenches around his cock.
Now
(Y/N) smiles at the old memory of her and Aemond together for the first time, but her smile falls as Jace and Baela walk into her room.
“Hello husband, hello Baela” (Y/N) says as she looks up at them.
“The maids told me you had dismissed them from their duties, why?” Jace asks (Y/N).
“I do not trust them with my sons and I don’t not want them near me or the babe I want Mina back” (Y/N) tells Jace.
“Who is Mina?” Jace asks (Y/N).
“She is a maid I befriended. She has a little brother and I just had the twins and she helped me with them. My father brought her with him so please can we have her here?” (Y/N) asks Jace
“Of course my love she can come back” Jace tells (Y/N).
“Oh thank you Jacaerys” (Y/N) says hugging Jace close.
