i'm currently reading the wot books and i'm so sorry if you've already answered this but what's your favorite book in the series?

PLEASE DONT BE SORRY. I would LOVE all of the wot asks tbh. PLEASE SEND THEM MY WAY! there will be MINOR spoilers here.

I REALLY love The Shadow Rising and Fires of Heaven. The Aiel arc is and will always be my favorite. Rand's arcs in there are just great as well as the intense lore that we get built up. I also really, really love the girls on the trail through Tanchico and the like.

But I really have a special place in my heart for Lord of Chaos. I love the buildup towards the climax of the book.

it should be noted that I do love all the characters and books (I don't believe in the slog but that's just me lol) but also I do look at my favorite books in the series through the frame of Rand's arcs because he's what gripped me from the beginning. SO !!!

Wheel of Time Characters and the Cars They'd Drive

Written by someone who knows extremely little about cars

Rand: The poor boy buys like a standard issue sedan and then a bunch of weirdos start following him around and telling him that the car is "special." Moiraine spray paints dragon decals on his car one night while he's sleeping. People keep trying to slash his tires but he always catches them just in time. You know how it goes

Perrin: Pickup truck with normal sized wheels. Great for helping people move! Also great for running people over. Duality of man etc etc. There's always a dog in the back sticking its head out the window, but Perrin does not know this dog or where it came from

Nynaeve: She buys a used car that looks like it's falling apart and everyone tells her that she overpaid. Four months in, they realize that the last owner did a bunch of Fast and Furious style modifications and Nynaeve could probably outrace God

Mat: Bike. This SHOULD NOT WORK but somehow he's still on time to everything. This baffles everyone, including him

Egwene: Something VERY practical with great gas mileage, like a honda civic. That's the only practical car I know because it's what my dad told me to buy.

Elayne: Lexus. Mat makes fun of her for driving a luxury car and she's like "????? it's not like it's a Cadillac?"

Liandrin: A Cadillac

Moiraine: A jeep, but the nicest most upgraded version. Unless there's a car that's better for off-roading, in which case she drives that instead

Lan: A cool classic car. A car that can drift (maybe all cars can drift but Lan's definitely can). He thinks that Nynaeve's car is The Coolest for some reason

Lanfear: A horse! Just kidding. She drives a silver range rover because an article I googled said that range rovers are the king of the road.

Asmodean: the car type Does Not Matter all that matters is that he has a vanity license plate

Another great Elayne moment is when she’s trying to be undercover at the Panarch’s Palace and drops a curtsy to the head cook that she swears is exactly the same curtsy she’s seen servants give her and she has to run out of there because the woman thinks she’s mocking her. For one it’s just great situational/cultural misunderstanding comedy but it’s also Elayne’s sheltered upbringing that she doesn’t know how like, the common people interact with each other. Of course, Tarabon is very far from Andor so it’s not that she would have seen this for herself, but more that she applies her worldview into situations without fully realizing the implications.

episode 1 of every wheel of time season has to have a damodred being weird in the bath in some way so here's my prediction

episode 1, season 3 opens: the gang is all still in Falme for some reason Moiraine and Lan finally get off the beach and are in the city and have met with the Two Rivers kids and gotten things semi-settled for the day. Moiraine goes to whatever palace the took over and is getting ready to enter the bath chamber oh no, she finds someone already there, but its not someone she expected to see here in Falme. Elayne Trakand, her niece, is already using the bath chamber. It seems she too has inherited the Damodred urge to take a bath. Moiraine scrambles, trying to figure out what to do as she does not want to talk to any other unexpected blood relations and she also wants to take a bath. She smiles, knowing that if Elayne inherited one trait from her Damodred side, then perhaps she's inherited others. "There are Aiel maidens outside the palace," she tells her niece, "if you hurry you may be able to meet them." She smiles as Elayne scrambles to get dressed and run out of the room. Just as Moiraine suspected, Elayne has also inherited the Damodred sapphic gene

Everyone’s talking about how they can’t wait to see Elayne and Nynaeve be besties next season but I’m shaking in anticipation of seeing Egwene and Avi being besties

So confirmed now that Thom will be back next season. Interested to see how he'll be reintroduced (will he just randomly show up in Falme?) and which storyline he will be in. While the main characters are all, more or less, following the same path as their book counterparts, the secondary characters are getting shuffled around a bit. Loial basically got Min's role in Falme while Min took Thom's place as Mat's travelling companion. You could feasibly fit Thom into any of the book four storylines, he isn't really all that essential to Elayne and Nynaeve's. To be perfectly blunt, Thom isn't really essential to any storyline, he's pretty much just guy who tags along offering advice.
