tell us about the lltg fic! very curious and interested we need more fic in this fandom
seriously! im so parched for fic! it’s been so long since I’ve seen a het couple I care about. coming out the other side to see 17 fics on ao3… smh. I’m not the best writer and I don’t love doing it—but sometimes you just gotta write the fic if you wanna read it.
anyway, i love the persuasion trope of lovers parted and then reunited and stronger for it. the bitterness is very bitter until suddenly it’s all sweet. but between autumn ballad (which i had a very mixed reaction to) and lltg, i realized why the chinese form of this trope always irks me so much: all the healing happens off screen.
I would love to watch 5 years of pining. two lovers separated but trying to find a way back to one another?? Healing and hurting and forgiving and the relapsing on your forgiveness and hating yourself for willing to take him back. Yeah, I love a breakup/makeup story.
Especially when, at the end, it feels like there’s something to be salvaged from the wreckage of the hurt.
Genuinely, I think forgiveness is one of the more complicated and arduous mental odysseys, but I also think that just means we need more stories that explore the concept.

5 Steps of Writing a Business Article Like a Pro
Does the prospect of writing a service article make you worried? Company writing can feel daunting, but if you damage down the process right into actions, you will certainly recognize that writing a business article is like writing for any kind of another style.
What is Business Article?
A business article writing is any content you create to directly or indirectly share details regarding a service. The different kinds of organization writing consist of blogs, news releases, newsletters, brochures, flyers, emailers, and also presentations.
Business writing entails a range of writing designs.
The content writing design will certainly vary with the sort of company content you have actually been asked to write. For example, compared to a blog, an emailer should have a much more concise pitch. Likewise, a flyer will certainly have to offer a concept really quickly, while in a company sales brochure, you have the deluxe of being extra descriptive.
I have been writing for medium-sized and also tiny companies for practically seven years currently. In that time structure, I have created business articles on myriad markets, such as modern company technology, software advancement, sustainable energy, educational working as a consultant, childcare service, online assistant solution, as well as clinical invoicing.
Over the thousands of short articles composed, I have developed a company article writing approach that I'd such as to show you today. My method of writing a company and looking into the article may not function for you, but it is one you might definitely use as a start point to create your own variation of a writing system.
For this post, I will adhere to the prep work, looking into, structuring, writing, and editing stages of writing a service article.
Here goes.
5 Steps to Writing a Business Article
Let's repaint a lovely picture ... but with words.
STEP 1: PREPARE - Understand what is expected of you.
Allow's think that you are working for a customer for the very first time, and also, you have actually been given a topic 'X Reasons to Have a Blog.' As soon as you tackle this job, you need to get answers to the complying with inquiries:
1. Who is the target audience of your customer?
Understand that you are writing for and also what the customer desires
Is your customer targetting companies or people? The target audience will influence the means you create. A company targetting individual customers will certainly prefer a writing style that is much more conversational, individual, as well as perhaps also tied with wit. On the other hand, a B2B customer might desire an article that is interesting and also highlights the business's expertise.
When we say business article, of training course, do not assume that you require to create content that appears like a monitoring publication remove. Today, every web content you compose needs to be simple to review and have to communicate the benefit the viewers will originate from the 10 mins they invest in reviewing what you have actually written.
2. Does the customer have key phrases in mind for the article?
In my experience, most clients will certainly enjoy letting you organize this and choosing the most effective keywords phrases for an article. Once you have picked the search phrases, make certain that you include them in the article heading, subheadings (where feasible), as well as at a regularity of 3 to 4 times every 500 words of the article.
3. Anticipated format and also the design of the article.
A lot of clients will certainly share an example of the sort of article they wish to create. Look at previous messages on their web site and clarify if the client wants you to maintain a comparable writing design if they do not.
Also, settle on the format of the entry. For example, a customer that I have been writing for a long time is a digital solution supplier called Virtasktik. All blogs submitted to the customer has to contain a meta summary, along with material for social media blog posts on the article for Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, as well as Google+.
ACTION 2: RESEARCH-- Evaluate the Available Information as well as Extract the Pertinent Bits
You need to be a master at both trying to find details online as well as selecting the most pertinent bits.
As you start researching the subject, think regarding the 2 to three key factors your article needs to consist of. After that, these concepts end up being the beginning point for research on the online search engine.
Alternatively, various kind expressions associated with the blog site subject you have been provided. For instance, for the topic 'X reasons to blog site,' your keywords can be--.
- Benefits of organization blog site.
- X Reasons why every business needs to have a blog.
- Statistics / Data on the benefits of having a service blog.
As you can via the appropriate posts, Google (or other search engines) will certainly toss-up tips on various other similar search expressions; appearance at those.
While looking into the details readily available online, I suggest doing the following:
1. Stay existing: Reference articles published no later on than 3 years earlier. Because understanding and technology are evolving quickly, you have to publish material that is relevant and progressive.
2. Usage reliable sources: Extract your content from reputed internet sites or blogs of well-known firms in the sector.
3. Provide credit rating: It's important to give credit report where debt is due, so include a minimum of 1 or 2 web links to reputed internet sites within the article.
4. Include information: Where feasible, try to find recent advancements, market stats, or infographics pertinent to your topic.
5. Essence, as you read: Highlight or draw out one of the most pertinent portions of web content as you check out the short articles. Some writers use devices like Evernote to do this, yet I like to do it the old-fashioned way and also paste all the appropriate material right into a solitary word document. Let's call this the 'base file.'.
6. Review several articles: As a thumb policy research study, at the very least 5 to 6 trustworthy sources of info for every single web page of 500 words that you need to write.
7. Include a quote: Depending on who you are writing for, including a genuine quote for your article is a terrific suggestion.
For an article on blog writing, you can approach prominent blog writers for their guidance or reach out to internet marketing experts to contribute to your article. You can contact them with their website, via e-mail, or perhaps their Facebook service page.
Tell them who you are, the customer you are writing for, the subject, searching for a 2 or 3 line quote, and when you require the return. I often use this technique and have a 25 to 30 percent success rate, which means I come close to, at the very least 4 potential contributors to get a solitary quote. The study stage will take you anywhere between one to one hr thirty mins.
ACTION 3: STRUCTURE - The Information as well as Your Thoughts.
Identify essential points and also determine which item of info goes where.
If you are writing a 1000 word article, you should contend the very least a base record of 2500 to 3000 words by the time you have researched the information. As soon as convinced that you have actually collected all the appropriate information, begin reading your base file.
Having actually experienced the paper, open one more word data and begin writing the crucial points, or have to have information for your article. I such as to reorganize as well as highlight the content in the base record, making use of different shades. The material that I want to consist of in the opening para is highlighted in yellow, the primary body in pink, as well as article referrals in environment-friendly. What you are doing at this step, is structuring the details as well as your thoughts prior to you start writing.
By the time you are done, you will certainly have your article skeleton-- opening, subheadings, bullet points under each, and also takeaways from your article (or the ending paragraph), in addition to the information that needs to come under each area.
If you are dealing with a word limit of say 1000 words, you can choose to create 150 words for the article opening, 800 words on the text, and an additional 100 for writing the conclusion. Naturally, it's a good idea to write the initial draft of about 1200 to 1300 words. As you boost the web content throughout the editing and enhancing stage, word count will immediately be minimized.
Structuring the article prior to you begin writing will certainly take you 25 to 30 minutes.
You have, by this time, already invested 2 hours in your article.
Currently, allow's start writing.
ACTION 4: WRITING - Write, Don't Edit
It's time to just compose. Create as you believe as well as talk.
The number one tip at this stage is to create as you assume. Compose as fast as you can type but keep referencing the base record to see the sub-points as well as the details you want under each point. Be careful as to not 'copy-paste' web content from your base documents.
As you write the initial article draft, I highly suggest that you use a distraction-free full-screen editor such as Write Box to aid you to compose without diversions.
Right here some extra tips on writing a business article:
1. Share the article objective in the opening para: Write an appealing opening paragraph that shows the main concern the article is going to answer. To put it simply, why should someone review your blog site? As an example, here's an opening I wrote for an article on task delegation:
" Are you a star at entrusting things to do in your business? Or are you one of the numerous local business owners that shy's far from job delegation due to the fact that you are the afraid job will not occur as expected, or that you will not' understand exactly how points are advancing when you have handed off the job?"
2. Consist of key phrases: As you write, attempt to consist of the essential expression(s) where feasible, however specifically in the article opening paragraph, subheadings of the article, and also within the web content with a frequency of concerning 3 to 4 reps for each 400 to 500 words.
3. Consist of interior and also external links: Add 2 to 3 hyperlinks to posts published on various other reputed web sites, along with links to related content within your customer's internet site. When you include weblinks, use appropriate 'anchor expressions' to explain them. Rather than stating 'visit this site for additional information,' include the links within your text.
4. Encourage readers to do something about it: Close with a takeaway paragraph of what the viewers ought to learn or the final thought you intend to entrust the viewers. For instance, you might invite visitors to sign up for a monthly company newsletter, leave a discuss their very own experiences/ expertise of the subject, or load the sales call type.
5. U.S vs. U.K English: Write in the U.S or U.K English depending upon which country your client is based.
6. Compose in energetic voice: Minimize the usage of passive sentences, write in 'active voice' to the extent feasible.
Writing a 1000 word article can take around 2 hrs. At this stage, depending on your research study and writing performance, you have actually already invested in between 3 to 4 hours in your article.
ACTION 5: EDITING - The Most Important Part of the Writing Process.
Modifying is important to producing a top-quality article, just like polishing a diamond to bring the sparkle.
Consider your article (written thus far) as a harsh ruby that requires sprucing up. Spending significant effort in editing an item is vital to producing quality work that will certainly make your customers coming back for even more.
Paste the content from the message file to an MSWord data. Review the article you have actually created until now. I find that checking out the web content aloud on your own or utilizing the 'Read Aloud Speech' function under the Review tab in Microsoft Word is valuable in recognizing sentences that must be re-written or re-arranged to improve the article flow.
Examine your material on web content editing and enhancing tools such as Grammarly or Hemingway App to boost readability once you are completely satisfied that the article circulation is good. These apps can aid in identifying easy sentences (which you may desire to reword in an energetic voice), recognize expressions with a much more simple expression, or rectify the inaccurate use of spelling. You can reduce wordiness-- as an example,' you have to choose' can be created a lot more concisely as' you need to make a decision.'
Cross-check the performance of the article header using devices such as Coschedule's Headline Analyzer when you find yourself stuck for concepts on writing an engaging headline, attempt the blog site title generator by SEOPressor.
Focusing on the tiniest details at the editing stage will certainly make it a lengthy process. However the end, the outcome will be worth it. For a 1000 word article, I can conveniently invest an hour attempting to modify as well as improve it. On the other hand, there is no end to the quantity of modifying you can do in an article. Past a factor, you should decide if the existing variation of the article is excellent to go. Prior to you release your organization article or send it to the customer, guarantee that you do a plagiarism check. I like to utilize Copyscape.
So there you have it, my tell-all article on writing organization write-ups. As well as would you know it, it also occurs to be the lengthiest blog post ever published on my blog site.

Prompts? .... Abigail, ghost tour heckler? All quail before her withering contempt?

Abigail asks Peter questions because he's her big cousin who's into weird stuff and probably won't rat her out to her folks
Tumblr media
Accountability check: I wrote 1200 words of the arranged marriage AU today while waiting for someone to get back to me so I could submit a revised paper I’M NOT GETTING DISTRACTED FROM MY FANFIC GOALS
(I am but. manageably.)
“...Sir Henry died over a hundred and twenty years ago,” said the tour guide, “but –“
“Hang on,” Abigail said, pitching her voice to the tone that had brought looks ranging from resignation to terror to the eyes of her schoolteachers. “This place wasn’t even built until after the First World War. What’s this Victorian bloke doing haunting it?”
The guide, who was a white guy called Simon probably not too much older than Abigail was herself, had smiled politely when she’d opened her mouth. By the time she was done, the smile had gone a bit thin.
“I think you must have got it mixed up,” he said, with a chuckle. “Look around at this Gothic Revival -”
“They didn’t just all down tools one day in nineteen-oh-one and start on Art Deco buildings the next,” Abigail said. “My cousin’s an architect, he goes on about this stuff.”
That wasn’t exactly true but Peter had done his degree, right, it was just that jobs were hard to get. His tours were way better than this one, too.
Simon’s eyes narrowed, although he managed to keep up the smile. Some of the other people on the tour – all tourists as far as Abigail could tell, mostly white and a few East Asians – were starting to look uncomfortable.
“Look, do you want to hear about the ghost of Sir Henry or not?”
“I just think if you’re going to tell ghost stories they should be real ones,” Abigail told him. She meant it, too.
“As I was saying,” he said, loudly and firmly and making eye contact with everybody to draw them back in, “this building was occupied by an advertising firm before the Second World War, and the copywriters used to report -”
Abigail stopped listening and edged towards the back of the group, trying to look appropriately abashed. Nobody looked at her; they wanted to pretend she hadn’t said anything. Which also meant, she was betting, that when someone eventually noticed she was gone, ten or fifteen minutes from now, Simon the tour guide wouldn’t be interested in finding out where she’d gone to. He’d think it was good riddance.
She sidled down a hallway, tried two doors before finding one that was unlocked, and settled in to wait in the office inside. Nobody even walked past the door – they hadn’t noticed she was gone. Perfect.
She gave it half an hour before she went back down to the main foyer. Peter had done a ghost tour for a couple of years – he’d given it up for strict history because he said it got too many people who took it seriously – and Abigail had asked him about this place. One of the things he’d told her, or more like let slip because she was pretty sure he didn’t know what she’d been planning, was that there were security cameras but they weren’t infra-red or anything. And ghosts didn’t show up on camera, not the real kind, so as long as she didn’t turn any lights on she’d be fine. Now it was just a case of waiting until her ghost – the real one, not whatever that story had been – showed up. She sat down in one of the less-comfortable-than-they-looked chairs to wait.
Twenty minutes later, she thought she heard something – a door creaking – but when she strained to listen, there was nothing else. Then she thought she heard people talking quietly, but that went away, too.
That was the worst bit about ghost-hunting; you got worked up looking for things and started to hear things that weren’t there. Real ghosts, Abigail had found, were not subtle at all, and didn’t require any special equipment or concentration or anything like that to see them. They were just...there.
She shifted a bit, because her left leg was starting to go numb, and then sprang to her feet when the door across the foyer from her opened – not the main one – and a torch flashed right into her eyes. Her left leg gave out, prickly with pins and needles, and she stumbled, putting up a hand against the light. “Aaaaaahhh!”
“Well, that’s not a ghost,” said a sardonic female voice. “I’m disappointed.” Abigail couldn’t make out anything else after half an hour in the dark; she could barely see figures behind the torch, let alone details.
“Excuse me,” said a second voice – man, very posh, in a way that made Abigail hopeful neither of them was the building’s night manager, but not very hopeful that they’d accept her back-up excuse of having got lost from the ghost tour. It sounded more like a voice that was going to tell her to wait for the police to be called. It was, all things considered, probably a good time to make a bolt for it.
“Hold on,” said a third voice, and the torch dropped; Abigail blinked, trying to focus at the same time as she tensed to turn and run. “Abigail, is that you?”
“Peter?” She turned back. “What – you don’t do the ghost tour anymore!”
“No, I don’t,” said her cousin Peter, sounding baffled. “What are you doing here?”
“It’s for a story,” Abigail said, shrugging like it was totally normal to be found in an office building in central London at quarter to midnight by her cousin who did walking tours and – who were those other two people, anyway? “What are you doing here, then?”
With the torch directed at the floor, now, she could see that the woman – whose expression was about as sardonic as her voice had been – was tall for a girl and wearing a black hijab and a very cool leather jacket. Posh Voice was a white man in a three-piece suit carrying an actual cane, which would have made him a good candidate for the ghost she was trying to interview if he hadn’t obviously been not a ghost, and instead a real person studying her with a frown of mild confusion.
“I take it you know this young lady?” he asked Peter.
“Yeah, this is my cousin Abigail, she’s studying journalism,” said Peter, like a complete traitor. “For a story, Abigail, really? What the hell?”
“I am!” Abigail insisted. She could live with Peter thinking she was breaking and entering; she wasn’t going to tell him she was here to interview a ghost. He’d never let her live it down. He probably still remembered when she’d tried to tell him about the ghost on the train tracks, five years ago. “Come on, why are you here? You don’t do the ghost tour anymore.”
“Favour for a friend,” Peter said. “The night manager still remembers me, and there’s two law firms in this building so they’re not thrilled about warrants...does he know you’re here?”
“I –“ Abigail was already figuring out how to answer that when she processed the rest of that sentence. “Wait, warrants?” She took a step to the side, so the chair wasn’t blocking her path to the side door. It was probably futile with Peter right here and telling all and sundry she was his cousin, but still. She turned her attention to Posh Voice and the hijabi woman. “Are you the filth?”
“I’m afraid so,” said Posh Voice. “May I ask what sort of story you’re following up?”
“It’s for a class,” Abigail said quickly. “I’m a student.” She had a flash of inspiration. “I was supposed to meet someone, but I guess they haven’t shown up.”
“Mind telling  us who that someone is?” asked the woman in the hijab. She looked familiar but Abigail couldn’t remember where from.
“I wouldn’t want to reveal a source. And you haven’t told me who you are.”
The woman made a hmph noise and looked away, like she was trying not to laugh. Which was just insulting, really.
“Quite right,” said Posh Voice, and showed her his warrant card, which said he was Detective Chief Inspector Thomas Nightingale. Abigail made a show of inspecting it like she’d seen Peter do once when she’d come with him on a research trip and someone had made a fuss about them being there, but she didn’t know what she was looking for, really. It was just a way to gain a second, and see how Peter was taking this. He looked exasperated, and slightly suspicious, but not really worried. So maybe it would come out alright, if she could just persuade them to go away, somehow.
“Okay, Detective Inspector Nightingale,” she said. “And you are?” she asked the woman.
“Detective Sergeant Sahra Guleed,” said the woman. “Hey, that’s where I’ve seen you – you live on the same estate as Peter’s parents, don’t you?”
“Maybe,” said Abigail.
“Yeah, all her life,” said Peter. “You’ve probably seen her round. Sahra lives near me,” he explained to Abigail. “So she’s fine, and Inspector Nightingale’s a friend of mine, so – look, you shouldn’t be here, it’s nearly midnight. How about I walk you out?”
“I can find my own way out,” Abigail said, trying to look dejected. “It’s fine.”
“Ms - Abigail,” said Inspector Nightingale. “As Sergeant Guleed said – would you very much mind telling us who you were intending to meet? In general terms. I won’t ask for a name.”
“A guy,” Abigail said, figuring she could work with this. “Who had some things to say about…a cold case.”
“It wasn’t, by any chance,” he said, “John Geraldson?”
Abigail tried really hard not to react to that but she wasn’t sure she succeeded. “Uh…who’s that?”
Peter narrowed his eyes. He’d known her way too long. “Abigail. You know a few years ago when you told me about that thing, near school, on the train tracks…is it like that?”
“You didn’t believe me then,” Abigail said, and knew she sounded bitter and was annoyed at herself that she did. “Why are you asking about it now?”
“You changed your mind and said you were joking,” said Peter. “I thought I’d give you the benefit of the doubt.” He paused. “Also, fine, I didn’t believe you then, but I’ve had reason to change my mind since. So. Anything like that?”
“Are you telling me,” Abigail said, incredulous, “that these are the ghost police?”
“Wow,” said Sergeant Guleed. “That’s actually worse than anything I’ve heard down at Belgravia.”
“In that case,” said Inspector Nightingale, “perhaps -”
That was when the ghost threw the chair Abigail had been sitting in across the room, so things got a bit complicated after that.
                                                             *
Because it was after midnight they retired to an all-night caf and Peter bought Abigail a Coke, which was frankly the least he owed her.
“It’s that annoying time when I really want a drink but it’s too late to start,” he said, looking around. Inspector Nightingale made a noise of agreement.
“You’ll live,” said Sergeant Guleed, not very sympathetically. “Besides, you can’t tell me Abigail’s old enough to drink.”
“I am so,” said Abigail, which made her sound like she wasn’t but was one of those things you had to push back on. “What, you want to see my ID?”
“Sure,” said Sergeant Guleed.
“She is, not that it matters right now,” said Peter. “Was that an exorcism, then?”
“Not really,” said Inspector Nightingale. “More like a red card. Although hopefully it lasts for longer than eighty minutes.”
“Now I’m going to have to go to a library and do research,” Abigail said, still feeling aggrieved. “You could have let me talk to him.”
“He didn’t seem to be in the mood,” said Sergeant Guleed. “In my extensive experience of ghosts.”
“Three months is rather more extensive than anybody else on the force at present,” said her boss. “So I’d say you’re qualified to make that judgement.”
“Oh, fantastic,” she said, and eyed Peter dubiously. “Have I thanked you again lately for getting me into this?”
“Every time you see me,” said Peter. “Abigail, look - I’ll put you in touch with someone at the British Library, I bet she’d love to help. She’s friends with Mum. And she knows all about ghosts and – all about ghosts, so you can just tell her the whole story.” He paused to take a bite of his kebab. “Isn’t this all a bit excessive for a first-year assignment, though?”
“It’s not just for the assignment,” Abigail explained. “I mean, it is, but sometimes I can publish things online, and sometimes I even get money for them, and that’s gonna look way better for my portfolio than just assignments.” Especially when there were people who had parents who worked for newspapers and things and got their stuff in them. She had to try harder, that was all there was to it.
“What sort of website was going to publish a story with a ghost as an interviewee?” Inspector Nightingale asked, like he was just curious, but his eyes were sharp.
“I wasn’t going to put that in the story,” Abigail said. “Then all you get is, like, really terrible tabloids. I was going to figure out where I was supposed to have found things out after I found them out.”
“That doesn’t sound like great journalism,” said Peter.
“I wasn’t going to write anything that wasn’t true.”
“Ghosts,” said the Inspector, “are not always reliable witnesses, anymore than humans are – in fact they’re often worse.”
“Yes, but they’ll talk to you, and sometimes people won’t,” said Abigail. “Talk to me. And I know nobody else is out there interviewing ghosts, so it’s something I’ve got they don’t. Totally worth it.” She paused to sip her Coke. “But Peter just said ghosts and, so tell me, Inspector Nightingale. What’s ‘and’?”
“How about,” he said, “we won’t discuss and, and we also won’t discuss breaking and entering.”
Peter made a noise of protest at this – at least he was good for something.
“I didn’t break and enter anything,” Abigail said, not breaking eye contact with Inspector Nightingale. “I paid to go on a perfectly legit walking tour which had permission to be in the building, and I got lost on the way out.”
“Oh, Jesus,” said Peter. “Was that Simon’s tour? Were you heckling him?”
“Only at that last stop,” Abigail said. “So he wouldn’t be sorry I was gone.” She sniffed. “He was totally making everything up, anyway, it was embarrassing just listening to it.”
“It’s embarrassing knowing he’s in business, is what,” said Peter, “but I’m really disappointed in you, Abigail.” He paused for emphasis. “You should have heckled him at every stop.”
“Then he would have asked me to leave early,” Abigail said, but she grinned at Peter, and he grinned back, so at least they were all right and he wasn’t going to tell on her to her dad, which would be the worst, or to his mum, which would be the same thing except he could claim he hadn’t. Even Sergeant Guleed made an amused noise.
“I’ll accept there’s an argument about the legalities,” said Inspector Nightingale, and he was smiling a little bit too.
“So,” Abigail said. “And what?”
“She’s very persistent,” said Peter. “Fair warning.”
“A family trait, I see,” said Inspector Nightingale.
“She also did see you do sort of an exorcism,” said Sergeant Guleed. “I think it might be faster if we came clean.”
Inspector Nightingale sighed. “Ghosts, and – I’m a wizard.”
He said it very matter-of-factly, as if he were saying I’m a policeman or lovely weather today. Abigail took a moment to consider it.
“Why are you hanging out with a wizard policeman?” she asked Peter. She glanced at Sergeant Guleed. “Two wizard police officers.”
“They have a very interesting library,” said Peter. “And he’s right, we are a very persistent family.”
“You say it like it’s a bad thing,” Abigail said, and sat up a bit straighter, and decided that, even though it was nearly one in the morning and she had class tomorrow – today, this might be something worth being persistent about.

Gabriel, Cloaked
So for my newest story that is also vaguely spn-esque, I wrote a scene that’s been in my head all day because of this prompt. So yeah. There will probably be spelling and grammatical errors but I don’t care at this point. Enjoy or whatever :) TW: mentions of murder and torture | Words: ~1200 | Characters: Naphtali, Gabriel
Naphtali sat on his knees before the court of angels. The tension in the room was palpable. He could tell that the High Court Angels didn’t want to offend him, since they were his underclassman, but also needed to uphold the law, which he had broken. Twice, at least.
After what felt like forever, one of the High Court Angels began to commence the trial.
“Uh, order! Order in the court!” he said to no one, as the room was previously silent. He cleared his throat. “Naphtali, Baron of Heaven, Opposer of Asbeel, Weapon of God, you are being accused of the torture and murder of the Angels Kotz and Anaf, and you are also being charged with treason from Heaven. How do you plead?”
He was going to plead guilty. He really was. He had no lawyer (which wasn’t exactly a thing in angel courts), and he had no alibi. He did do those things and there was no reason why he should say he didn’t. He also didn’t have a good escape plan yet.
But then, BANG! The doors slammed open and in walked a young man in a muted blue bowler hat and suit. He walked with purpose and intent. His face was mostly schooled, with a hint of a smirk. He made his way to stand next to Naphtali and simply told the courts, “He pleads innocent.”
Naphtali stared up at this man. He felt very familiar, but Naphtali knows that he has never met this man in his life. Which was a very long one, so far. He also did not know how this man was going to save him, since everyone there knew that Naphtali committed those crimes, the trial was just a formality.
“Sorry?” the High Court Angel managed to say. Everyone present was surprised by this man’s entrance and assumption of authority.
“Naphtali pleads innocent. You know you all should revamp your justice system. Feels a little dated to me. You didn’t even give Naphtali here a chance to look for a lawyer!” the man said.
“He pleads innocent. Very well,” the High Court Angel repeated to himself. “And how shall I refer to you…?”
“Mr. L, please.” the man said, raising his left hand in admission.
“Well then, Mr. L, how do you intend to prove your…client…innocent?” another High Court Angel asked with a sneer.
Mr. L then launched into a lengthy explanation about how while yes, Naphtali was at the scene of Kotz and Anaf’s murder, he was not the murderer. Or the torturer. He was just there.
“And whom would you like to pin the murder on, then?” asked the High Court Angels.
“Oh, there will be no pinning here. I know exactly who did it.” Mr. L replied. You do? Naphtali thought. I know for a fact that their blood is on my hands.
“It was Asbeel. Clearly. You all know that the footprint of Asbeel and the footprint of Naphtali are very similar. They’re opposites but are still two very similar looking sides of the same coin.” Mr. L stated, satisfied with his answer.
“But how? We checked the scene and Naphtali’s angelic footprint was most definitely there. It was his.” the Court countered.
“Well then you need to get better crime scene experts because trust me, I’ve been down there and it was definitely Asbeel’s.”
The Court and Mr. L then debated the accounts of Naphtali’s treason. That was a more difficult argument to convince them of.
“Listen, I’m telling you, those comments were heard out of context! That’s not what he meant! And, anyway, why do you have spies tailing him? He’s your upperclassman! He should be able to do what he wants!” “Him being our upperclassman does not negate the fact that he needs to obey the law of Heaven.”
“Nobody would have found out he ever broke it if you all weren’t bugging his friends! That has to be illegal, or at least compromising! If nobody genuinely reported it, and the statements were taken out of context, then it’s like you were setting him up to be accused!”
There was a pause. Then, a sigh.
“Fine. Naphtali, I’m sorry to have caused you this inconvenience. If things went the normal way, this would have all been done…” the High Court Angel checked his watch. “Around an hour ago.”
Mr. L muttered under his breath. The Court did not ask him to repeat what he said.
“Order! Order in the court!” the High Court Angel said once again to a silent room. “Naphtali, Baron of Heaven, Opposer of Asbeel, Weapon of God, has been found innocent of all crimes he was accused of today. You are free to go.”
Naphtali was dumbfounded. Somehow, this complete stranger waltzed in and proved him innocent of crimes he most definitely committed. Who could want him out of jail that badly? Wouldn’t he know them?
Someone came over and uncuffed Naphtali. He stood up to his full height and stretched his wings (partially because they were sore, and partially for intimidation–he was a Baron of Heaven and he wasn’t going to let them forget that.) Mr. L came and put his hand on Naphtali’s shoulder, and led him out of the courtroom. Naphtali dared not say anything until they were gone, for fear that this miracle would come crashing down around his ears if he did.
“Who are you?” was the first thing he asked when he deemed it was safe. Mr. L looked left and right before realizing that Naphtali was talking to him.
“You don’t recognize me?” he asked. Naphtali shook his head. “Come on! I thought since I’m your favorite you’d recognize me no matter what I look like!” The word “favorite” made something click in Naphtali’s head. Gabriel, his older brother, the archangel, had regarded Naphtali as his favorite sibling when they were all in heaven together. To Naphtali’s knowledge, he still did.
“Gabriel?” he asked.
“Finally! Oh, man, I thought you forgot about me!” Mr. L, now Gabriel said, his form changing. Instead of a man in a blue suit, his form changed to be more of a young adult. Now, he wore a red t-shirt with a leather jacket and black ripped jeans.
“I could never,” Naphtali said. It was true. He did love Gabriel (if he was honest, a bit more than his other archangel siblings) and he knew Gabriel loved him. “It’s just, I probably could have gotten out of jail if I wanted to, so why did you show up? You have your own life.” Naphtali asked.
“Man, you’re the only brother I can stand, so if I can help it, you’re not going to jail in the first place. And, if you ask me, I think those Court Angels are a bit entitled sometimes so I really wanted to come and put them in their place.” Gabriel explained.
“Thank you for that, really. I owe you. But, I did do those things. I did speak out against Heaven, and I did…I did kill those angels.” Naphtali reminded him.
“Shh! Not so loud!” Gabriel whispered. “Yeah, I know you did those things, but there were circumstances. There still are. I understand them, but I don’t expect them to. I’m not saying this makes it right, or okay, but you have time to amend that with whoever you need to.” Gabriel pulled him in for a tight hug.
“I love you,” Naphtali said.
“Sap,” Gabriel replied. Naphtali blew in his ear. “So where are those humans you’ve been with?”

"Just because you've got the emotional range of a teaspoon doesn't mean we all have." -- A Harry Potter-Based Partner Search
Introduction & About Me
Hello! My name's Rain, and I’m a gal in my early-twenties who has been roleplaying for approximately 7 years (but only in the most recent 4 or 5 have I really been “serious”). After being dragged by the ankles (although not without a struggle) into a hellish chasm of personal issues that has kept me from writing, I’ve finally managed to work everything out and am now itching to get back into the roleplaying game! I’m hoping that I can find some good partners to satiate my cravings, and hopefully I can satiate some of yours too. If you emailed me in the past and I didn’t respond, shoot me another email! Like I said, I had some things get in the way, so I’d be up for rekindling a past roleplay or picking up planning where we left off. Right now I am specifically looking for some Harry Potter roleplays, so if you are too, then we’re both in luck!
I can write replies ranging anywhere from 500-1200 words average - I know that’s a rather big window to call my “average”, but I don’t want to make it sound like that’s my strict length. This equates to around 3-8 paragraphs, but that obviously will vary depending on the size of the paragraph. I can certainly go upwards from 1200 and have gone on to posts with 2000+, however that’s usually too much for most people. Essentially, I’ll write the same amount you write so that it’s not over or underwhelming. Let me know your range and I’ll adapt! Although, if you would be willing to write 1500+/2000+ words a post, then you’d earn quite a bit on bonus points from me.
In terms of writing style, I write third person, past tense, multi-paragraph to novella. HERE are some samples of my writing from past Harry Potter-verse roleplays so that you can see what you’re getting yourself into! Hopefully I did the characters justice.
I’m also putting this up front - my schedule’s a bit wonky. There will be some days where we can go back and forth multiple times with multiple posts each and there will be some days where I can’t reply at all. I’ll try my best to let you know in advance if there will be a period of 2+ days where I can’t reply, but things happen. My activity rate is partially dependent on interest level as well - if I’m really into and excited about our roleplay, I’ll be able to reply more often!
On a similar note, I’m on the east coast (EST) if that’s an important factor for you.
I’m open to playing multiple characters if that suits your fancy, or, if you’d rather just play one each, that’s fine by me as well. If you do want to write multiple characters, then we can do more than one pairing at once or do more than one roleplay thread at once! I love doing both of those.
For relationship pairings, I do all different kinds: romantic/sexual, platonic, familial, and antagonistic. I think it’s fun to mix and match all these different kinds because they can make for some interesting character interaction!
I’m smut friendly as well and don’t mind including it in my roleplays, but it’s really dependent on the content of the story itself. I don’t necessarily want a story that is focused solely on smut, but I wouldn’t mind having it play a part
I'm only interested in roleplaying over email at the moment. My email is [email protected].
What I’m Looking for in a Partner
Now that we’ve got those basics out of the way, there are certain things that I would like out of a partner that hopefully someone can provide!
Be 18+, please. I know I’m technically on the younger end of the adult spectrum but I still feel uncomfortable roleplaying with minors (especially because some of my plots can contain smut).
I would prefer if you were female, just because I am more comfortable roleplaying and writing with someone who is the same gender as I am, but that isn’t a requirement, as I don’t want to totally limit the partners that reach out to me and potentially miss out on a fantastic male, nonbinary, etc. partner just because they aren’t female.
I’m looking for someone who can at least mirror or match my minimum post length, so no fewer than 3-4 paragraphs or 500 or so words. Again, if you want to write longer replies that span the 1500+ word range, than that would be even better!
I would like if you wrote in the third person. Tense doesn’t matter - write present or past, that’s up to you. But I won’t roleplay with anyone who writes in the first or second person, as it is a little weird to me.
If you can get me at least one post every other day, I’d be happy! If you can get me more than that, even better! Also, let me know if you’re not going to be able to reply for a prolonged period of time so that I’m not sitting on my hands wondering where you went.
Likewise, if you want to drop the roleplay for any reason, just let me know! I won’t be mad if it’s not working out, I just don’t want to be ghosted by someone who doesn’t want to continue and instead never replies again.
If you can play multiple characters/want to do multiple pairings, that would be wonderful, but again, it’s certainly not a requirement.
When you email me, let me know which pairings listed below interest you/you would want to include! Tell me a little about yourself and the way you write as well (including whether or not you would like to include smut in the roleplay as well as your limits if it’s the latter).
Also, if you have an idea that I haven’t listed, ask/tell me! I’m very open to suggestions for pairings!
Roleplay Information & Pairings
On to the part that you’ve actually wanted to see! I have a variety of things that I would like to include in a roleplay. To set it up, my preferred role in a pairing will be italicized. I’ll also note what type of relationship I would be interested in writing for a particular pairing/plot (romantic/sexual, platonic, familial, or antagonistic); we can also combine some of the four (like a romantic/sexual and antagonistic would be fun). Additionally, we can combine pairings if you’d like that are from the same era, or we can have more than one roleplay go on at once (as I mentioned earlier).I’m up for fluff or action or anything in between, so let me know what you want!
Marauders Era
James Potter x Lily Evans (romantic/sexual and/or platonic)
Sirius Black x Marlene Mckinnon (romantic/sexual and/or platonic)
Sirius Black x Lily Evans (platonic) *
Remus Lupin x Lily Evans (platonic)
Regulus Black x Lily Evans (romantic/sexual, platonic, and/or antagonistic)
Hogwarts/Golden Trio
Hermione Granger x Draco Malfoy (romantic/sexual, platonic, and/or antagonistic)
Hermione Granger x Harry Potter (platonic)
Ginny Weasley x Draco Malfoy (romantic/sexual, platonic, and/or antagonistic)
Hermione Granger x [Your suggestion] (romantic/sexual, platonic, and/or antagonistic)
Ginny Weasley x [Your Suggestion] (romantic/sexual, platonic, and/or antagonistic]
Next Gen
Teddy Lupin x Victoire Weasley (romantic/sexual and/or platonic)
Teddy Lupin x Lily Luna Potter (romantic/sexual and/or platonic)
Contact
That’s all I can think of at the moment! Again, if there’s anything else not listed that you’ve been dying to try out, let me know! More likely than not, I’ll say yes and jump right on board. Shoot me an email at [email protected] with your interests and a little information about yourself (ex: average post length, activity, etc.). If you shoot me a message just saying a pairing you were interested in without telling me about yourself, then I won’t be as inclined to reply since I don’t know if our styles would match up! So please, tell me about yourself - I promise I won’t bite!

Stars Unearth Your Fires (ch2/?)
Title:  Stars Unearth Your Fires (Ch 2/?)
Fandom: DCU, Teen Titans, Red Robin (preboot)
Rating:  PG  | Words: 1200 approx | a03 link
Summary: Tim Drake never thought of himself as a troublemaker as far as Robins go. But a passing accusation quickly escalates into a case of stolen memories, technologically backwards clues from his past self, interdimensional hijinks, reflections on the good old days, and possibly the rekindling of a foregone romance. Eventually Tim/??? Mystery ship!
A/N: I ask that any fashion nerds reading this forgive me for my fake fashion week plot device. Lets just say the DCU has extra fashion weeks bc magic and leave it at that. Thanks again to @kiragecko for the beta!
"Wait, dude. Scrappy Doo hacked your diary?"
"It wasn't a diary, Kon. But, kinda."
"A lockable device on which you record your private thoughts you share with no one? Soundslikeadiary, man. Youshouldembraceit."
"I could repeat lectures verbatim from Diana about refusing to be shamed for traditionally feminine things that are actually emotionally reinforcing, but I think I'll spare you since you're not fooling anybody."
He could have come alone, but he had returned their texts on a whim, and when they had learned he was going to scavenge their old HQ at Happy Harbor... well, there was no stopping the remnant of Young Justice otherwise known as his best friends.
"It was more like a smartwatch jam packed with ridiculous hardware and old ipod levels of memory that I had filled with work reminders, but whatever."
Cassie and Bart had a point. But the truth was, the closest thing he really had to a diary was the dozens of hand-written letters he had written essentially screaming at his father. Letters he had tossed in the fire before he could be tempted to actually leave them where the (now dead, now lost) man could find them.
But some things remained too raw to share.
"Hey," Cassie was the first to touch her toe down on the threshold (Normally, Bart would beat her, but he had allowed himself to be a bit distracted, fully zipping around a couple laps to check out external changes).
Cassie started entering the old security codes without a hitch. She was not even thinking about it, and it gave Tim a tiny surprising warm fuzzy tingle in the chest, "Damian didn't use anything in it against you, did he? Trying to dig up crap on--"
Tim allowed himself a chuckle, "No. Assuming he did manage to read any of my entries, I would have paid money to watch him try to figure out what any of it meant."
"Oooh," Bart zipped back, and darned if he wasn’t talking faster and faster, allowing his own nostalgic excitement to kick in, "Did you write it in a code?"
"Sort of."
Kon was floating by the graffiti wall. It didn’t matter how many times they cleaned it, "Hanson Sucks" would always reappear as if by magic. Tim used to suspect Bart solely, but looking back, (and looking at Kon's face now) he suspected a little differently.
The guy's grin has a bit of the ol' Kid when he glanced over his shoulder, "You didn't just write it in code, you wrote it in SLANG, didn't you. Yes, you did."
Tim snorted. But denied nothing. There was no point.
"Bet it was like 90% rap references."
"Ooh, don't underestimate Tim's eclectic-ness, Bart. There was no doubt a healthy dose of Enya lyrics entwined in there."
Bart's nose scrunched, "Enya? Seriously, Tim?"
"Hey," Cassie interjected, "I like Enya."
"You also like country music and boy bands dangerously similar to Hanson. It's okay, Cass. Weloveyouanyway."
The rules for Gotham and his team had always been different.  While clever hiding spaces had been a practically intellectual game in his home city, sometimes the trick to hiding something in YJ HQ was to just place it somewhere really dumb.
“The girl’s locker room, Rob? Really?”
“You never looked for any of my toys here, so clearly, it worked.”
The locker combination was Steph’s birthday. Something his teammates had no reason to know and something Batman and Nightwing might overlook. Or at least, they would have overlooked it back then. Maybe he should change it. Did it matter? Would he ever have cause to use this thing again? It was worth thinking about, but not something for just yet.
The lock released with an obnoxious clack and the door swung open with a creak. There were some things in his life that Tim kept meticulously clean, but no locker had ever been on the list. His crumpled extra Robin uniform tumbled out along with a collection of scratched CD’s, multi-sided dice, hand-drawn diagrams of team formations covered over by Bart’s doodling, and a cracked baseball bat.
At least his uniform had been through the wash before he stuffed it in there. Small favors from his former self. Tim carefully unrolled the Kevlar cape, tumbling his old wrist computer into his palm.
He would need to replace the battery. Specifically, remove the battery, and carefully charge it, then place it back into the device. He was not going to risk synching the thing—even to the old YJ mainframe—by plugging it into the computer directly. Maybe he was being paranoid. Hm. Not the worst thing to be.
“So…” Kon interrupted, “You gonna tell us what’s up?”
His first—heh—impulse was to be cryptic, but he swallowed it down. These were his friends.
“I was singled out by those Gatekeepers. I want to know why. When I checked the dates, I realized all of our computer records were compromised. I think… I think a more personal record might have escaped their notice.”
A moment of silence. He would have enjoyed the rarity of quiet in the old YJ cave of all things, but they were looking at him with a high-alert concern that was on the edge of tipping into horror.
“Woah. The bat-computers were compromised? Holy Hera, Tim.”
“DoyouthinkitwastheGatekeepers? You do. You totallythinkitwastheGatekeepers.”
Tim nodded, “Yeah. I do.”
“So what, man? You think they waved their triple-joined finger and just…?” Kon waved his own hand.
“Erased a week—maybe more—of events that happened while our reality was colliding with something outside of our own multiverse. And in a room with you, the Flashes, Booster Gold, and Guy Gardner; the person they expected to cause trouble was me.”
“And you can’t remember because they probably also erased our memories.” Cassie inferred.
Kon nodded until Tim’s earlier comment sank home, “Hey wait, whattaya mean ‘with me’?”
Bart giggled, “Oh, as if you don’t remember what you were like back then.”
Kon sighed as Bart and then Cassie joined in on ruffling his hair. They had to be fast. And reach up on their tip toes to do it. But Kon let them for a good half of a second.
“Ok. Point taken.”
The wait for the charger to hit green felt like an eternity. Plenty of time for the ambiance of the old cave to slip from nostalgia to haunting. Bart had opened up an entire closet of junk—chemicals, paint, mechanical insects—that he had apparently collected with Greta. Kon had dusted off Anita’s old masseuse table, only to find that no one was really in the mood to hop on it. Cassie found an old set of brass knuckles that belonged to Slo-bo, but quietly set them down when she noticed their discoloration was due to dried blood.
Nobody messed with the dusty arrows kept in hopeful little spaces. Nobody looked at the archer’s targets. At least, no one looked when others were looking.
Tim sighed and watched as Cassie floated around, fidgeting. He remembered how hard she had clung to the idea of Cissie returning to the hero life, terrified that her best friend would grow distant as a result. Tim had… been more optimistic. At the time.
He knew where their old friends were. He knew Greta Hayes was a freshman in college now. That they girl they had once called Secret had impressed the entire faculty of St. Elias with her ability to catch up and surpass academic basics. He knew that while she excelled in her math and science classes, she enjoyed the chaos and the friendships she found in her drama electives. He knew because her teachers kept good notes that were easy to hack.
He knew Anita took odd jobs to support the two tiny children that were her de-aged parents. She would put on her old Empress costume on occasion, when crime had the gaul to come to her doorstep, but lived quietly in Louisiana for the most part. Supergirl had been the last hero to come into contact with her, and told him all about it.
None of them had really had the chance to feel close to Ray, but Tim knew that didn’t make them special. Ray Terrill’s profile with the Justice League displayed a new team every year. He had run with reserve units, the JSA, Freedom Fighters, and more.
Then there was Cissie, Arrowette, the girl who took them by all by surprise once every few months as her face appeared on a cereal box, in an energy drink commercial, or on a motivational poster in a sporting goods store. Because nothing sold that stuff better than an Olympic archer who had looks as well as accuracy.
It wasn't a painful thing for Tim personally. Hell, there had been a time when he thought he was headed for a similar path, a time when he thought retirement for himself was a strong possibility, just a few years away. But he knew better now. And he knew that Bart always bought things with her name or her face on them, but didn't actually look at them. And that when Cassie heard her voice blaring from the TV, she would stare mournfully at an old number in her phone before putting it away unused. As much as they would wish otherwise, Cissie King-Jones had drifted away from them.
Not that Tim didn’t also fit the drifter profile to an extent. The thought hit him hard. He hadn’t been to the Tower in over a two months, but like a dog with a bone, the Titans had refused to let him stay out of touch. Even when Dick had the bright idea of sending Damian to the tower, to try to get him to interact with ‘younger’ heroes—because apparently Dick could’t be bothered to remember that he was sending an eleven year old to socialize with a crew that no longer possessed a member under the age of sixteen—his friends had reached out, insisting that Red Robin was the only Robin on their roster.
It was humbling, and it put a scratch in this throat and a watery heat behind his eyes that—
BEEP!
Charging complete.
Bart zipped toward the outlet, and hopped on his toes while waiting for Tim to unplug the device. He felt Conner and Cassie join in hovering behind him as he began to skim through the files. There was only one that matched what they were looking for, with its simple text repeated in the space-tab code.
R E M I N D E R S
Dig up 8th grade time capsule
Go 2 fashion show @ Hollywood Mall. Compare/Contrast costume
Be outside July 4th
Go 2 most romantic city on July 15th
“That’s it?” blurted Kon and Bart at once.
“Fashion show?” Cassie scratched her head.
Tim sighed, “I was watching out for key word triggers. I think.”
Bart frowned, “Like, if  you actually said anything close to what you meant, you were worried the Gatekeepers or whoever would notice and erase everything like they did with the Batcomputer?”
Tim nodded, “The ‘reminders’ are literally reminders. Straightforward intel would be too dangerous.”
“‘Cause God forbid your lil’ bitty bat-self actually tell your future self what was going on.” Kon huffed impatiently.
Cassie elbowed him in the ribs.
Kon hissed. “Sorry! Too dangerous. I get it.”
Cassie raised her brows and let it go. “So, what are you going to do?”
Tim shrugged, “Do what they tell me to and hope they help me remember, I guess.”
Bart looked up from his phone, “Better hope the ‘reminders’ don’t have to go in order, Tim.”
Tim winced, “Why?”
Cassie looked over Bart’s shoulder at his screen, “Because the only major summer fashion demonstration in California hits the runway in about 12 hours. Woah.”
Tim powered down the wrist tech. He didn’t like the idea of going out of order, but only two of the reminders had actual dates attached. At least he had opened the file right before July. Small favors.
“Fine. Mall first. Grab some food and rest and meet back with me in—“
“Only if you do,” Cassie’s eyes were narrowed.
“Yeah, man. No caffeinated all-nighters.”
“Kon and I will tuckyouinifwehaveto.”
Tim snorted, “Fine.
It messed with his plans, but if he was being honest, Cass was in town, and Steph had mentioned to Dick in the cave that she was done with her freshman comp essay. Red Robin wasn’t strictly necessary when Blackbat and Batgirl were around to help out.
He did his best to take it as the impromptu bit of fortune it was.
He didn’t let it hurt.

Letter to my guides...
Letter to Nut, Mama Yaa, Asase Yaa, Pomba Gira & Eshu of the Seven Crossroads.
I honestly had no idea how to feel. On one hand I was furious with him not having a monetary return on anything he spent so many hours ruminating over. All those hours in the studio, or justifying how another woman can help us… or hours spent organizing jewelry.. I felt like it was easy to begin resenting him for not wanting a job. For insisting he do as he please. But it was those things that drew me to him. His dreams I encouraged so that he could believe them and chase after them. I was that force. But did I lead us into this land? By encouraging efforts that were not fruitful. Should I have told him to get a job? Should I have been…. No. I felt like I was tired. Of holding him up. But he held me up. He didn’t scorn me whenever I said I needed a new tarot deck or more candle.. new clothes, or even food. I know that he loves me and isn’t taking advantage of me. I couldn’t drop the ball. I couldn’t say these things out loud. To him or anyone else. I refused. I was so scared to follow the thought path. He could feel it on me and know that I was not saying everything on my mind. I could not hurt him like that. I felt like it was my duty to love him because everyone else had cast him aside. This world, his parents, jobs, housing people.. everyone. They hated him for the same reasons I cherished him.  No one wanted to rent to us because he was not a student. Its disgusting and sad how someone can be treated like this. They aren’t willing to hear what you’re doing or what your plan is… who you are other than what they want you to be.
And im just so confused of what to do.. where to go. What to act on first, what information to relay and what not to share. Why won’t they give him housing? Its not enough that we are together, that he is with me. Why should I have to hide that? What will happen to our businesses if we lived in just a room in  a place with a bunch of people. I appreciate that he is willing to get a small job to save up and move us right. But in 6 months it will be February and that’s not the best time to move either.
Honestly guys, if you could put us in a two bedroom for no more than $1200/month for a year that would be the best option. Tension is high right now but I want him to know that im not leaving him. I couldn’t. Not without a huge falling out and separation. I didn’t even want to. Do I really have to choose between real love and someone who looks good on paper? All the best men are cast aside, named dealers and criminals. Denied access and then they wonder why he does not want to come in. But the system is designed for this. Designed to make him look like the loser, by taking away his ability to provide he is regarded as an unsuitable partner. With favour given to the woman, she believes even more when they tell her she doesn’t need him. And by their standards she doesn’t. She goes to school, she gets merits, and even favoritism shown purely based off gender. The doors practically swing open for her while they are bolted shut for him. They wont even answer, they looked out the peephole and decided he was unwelcome.. not realizing he was holding a million dollars in his hands.
While she is progressing and going through the doors, he is stuck at the same square.. blocked by entities he cannot see. Blocked by a lack of empathy. Cash and Paper is the language of this place. If you don’t have those you are no one. But how many black men don’t want a job? How many black men sold drugs just so someone couldn’t tell them what to do? How many black men saw bigger than they were shown, saw art and land where plots of wealth must be grown. Hit licks, did all kinds of shit… to fit into a place that doesn’t even want them here. Racism is real yall. Housing discrimination is real.
This problem was so big.. the mountain so high I could not see over it. Smog so thick I could not see through. So I sat and the entrance. And I wrote this. And I call on Pomba Gira to carry me through. Take my hand at the crossroads and lead me to safety. Take me and my Exu to better lands…. We are doing all that we can. Ase.
It hurts to write this. It hurts to think about. It hurts to look at him. And It is set up so that I blame him. I do not blame him. But I cant get rid of these things in my head... so instead of fighting with him, I drink. Instead of arguing, i smoke. Instead of saying something mean, I’ll make him a meal. I would not curse him for being himself. For not having a job. For not conforming. But don’t you understand that is exactly why I love him. So the only thing left to do was love him. Because no one else would. Because I did already. I committed to you. I committed to fixing what was broken. And I still am. So I would never utter a word. I would walk away before I curse you or blame you. Because I knew King, that this wasn’t your fault. I see how hard you work every day. I know what is on your heart and soul. I know there are times I will carry you, and you will carry me. But a way out of this…. I cannot see. I’m disappointed yes. Do I feel stunted, yes… I keep hearing their voices when they asked me about your credit history, and if jewelry is enough to pay the bills. When they told me not to have an open relationship, or a live in boyfriend. I could hear my father saying not to depend on a man. My mother saying how foolish I was for letting someone in. I couldn’t even say it was all his fault. I spent a lot of unnecessary money on feelings and experiences. And for that I am ashamed. Not entirely but… I know I could have done better. But Im just also feeling like what is all of this work for. The studio. The alterations. The jewelry. Life would be easier if we were monogamous and had full time jobs. But that wasn’t who we were. Its not who we are. And this is the cost of living outside of the box. I see that now.

Read Sorcery 101 writer notes Chapter 32
Here is another batch of writer notes on Sorcery 101. If you want to read ahead on these got ahead on these head over to my patreon.
Chapter 32
Title Page I don’t have much to say about this title page and don’t quite remember what I was going for other than foreboding. Since is Suzanne’s last chapter in Sorcery 101 and some people got frustrated that they didn’t get her full story. But Sorcery 101 isn’t her comic, As We Were is. Giving her a fully story in Sorcery 101 would just be repeating myself and would be a detour from the main story.

Connor’s bite marks from Undead Army were partly set up for this scene. Just so folks now how much time Seth and Trish are spending with each other. And since Seth’s evil ways are all out and the open, I figured now is the time to make it clear that Seth is messing with his mind.
Page 1191 – 1194
Brad probably notices a lot of things because of smell that he doesn’t mention. Mostly cause it would make him sound like a weirdo. He tells Ally because she was mostly prepared/expecting Seth and Trish to start fooling around eventually.
Suzanne takes off without without discussing it with anyone. Lope knows what’s probably going to happen if she is in such a hurry. I wanted this scene to be quiet cause he’s already said everything he can in As We Were and probably several other times before that. I like Suzanne don’t say good-bye. Just “I’m sorry.”
Lope is deciding what to do during his own talk with Jackie. I had their talk be more exposition while he is thinking about something else.
page 1195 – 1200
I paired Danny and wife’s argument with the Suzanne and Seth fight because these are both fights they don’t have hope of winning. Danny just doesn’t know it about his fight though. I tried to have the end of each page have a punctuating part of both fights. I think I was most successful when Jackie asks if Natalie is safe paired with Seth pulling out his knife, when both their “How long” statements line up, and when Jackie calls Danny out on being a absentee dad paired with Seth breaking Suzanne’s spin.
Fights have never been my strength when drawing. But this is one of the first times I think I found the trick that worked for me. Choreagraph the fight then pick all my camera angles. It was made slightly easier because Seth mostly dodges during the fight. He is toying with her.
And both conflicts end with the victory standing over the defeated.
page 1201-1205
What Seth says to Suzanne translates to “put your snout on the step.” It’s also what he said to Suzanne’s father in As We Were before curb stomping him. I originally wrote “put your mouth on the step” and asked Jose who drew From Scratch to translate it to Spanish. He gave me a literal translation but also told me using the word snout would be more insulting and work best in the context. So that’s what is said in both scenes. The page where Seth breaks her neck is also supposed to mirror when he kills her dad in As We Were.
Also, Lope was Danny’s first teacher for a reason. All of this happens fairly fast and wanted to focus how quick Lope gets off all these spells.
Page 1206 – 1208
This whole scene I kinda showed Lope’s eyes sparingly since Lope won’t look Danny in the eye. It’s a somber scene though since both Lope and Suzanne knew how her fight with Seth could only result in one thing. Chapter wraps up with Danny admitting defeat.

Harry Potter Pairings Galore!
Hello! My name’s Rain, and I’m a gal in my early-twenties who has been roleplaying for approximately 7 years (but only in the most recent 4 or 5 have I really been “serious”). After being dragged by the ankles (although not without a struggle) into a hellish chasm of personal issues that has kept me from writing, I’ve finally managed to work everything out and am now itching to get back into roleplaying! I’m up for writing anything, whether that be canon or AUs! Below I will list both the characters who I have experience writing and the characters that I would like to write against. They are in no particular order, so feel free to mix and match pairings to your heart’s desire - meaning that you can create any pairing you wish (one from each group, of course) and I’ll be game for writing it! Some have asterisks (*), though, and the ones that do mean that I am especially craving them. So, if you choose ones that have asterisks, not only will I love you forever, but I’ll respond to your email pretty much immediately after I see it. Not that I won’t respond to other messages, of course! I’ll respond to almost any message that I receive, but I’ll make it a point to respond to those ones first. Note that I do much prefer m/f pairings, so please ask first if you want to do any other ones; I won’t necessarily say no, but I will only do certain m/m or f/f pairings (some of which are listed below with the characters). Also, if there is a character that you enjoy writing that I don’t have on my list, suggest it to me! I’m open to writing new pairings and I could have just forgotten to add that character. Also, I very much enjoy writing more than one character. So if you chose multiple characters from the same era, we can write more than one pairing in the same roleplay! Or we can have more than one roleplay going on at once. Whichever you prefer! Of course, we can always just stick to one character each. That’s fine too! Before I get to the characters, I need to make one last point of types of relationships! I love exploring more than the typical romance - which, don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love and enjoy writing - because it makes the roleplay more interesting! I categorize the four different types of relationships I’ll have between pairings as follows: ROMANTIC, PLATONIC, ANTAGONISTIC, and FAMILIAL. They are pretty self explanatory - romantic is eventual love, platonic is friendship, antagonistic is enemies, and familial is siblings or extended family. I thoroughly enjoy romantic pairings, but it’s always nice to throw in some of the other types, y’know? If you choose more than one pairing like I mentioned above, we can combine different types, or we can start with one type and progress through the others. CHARACTERS I WRITE
Lily Evans
Marlene McKinnon
Remus Lupin [only against James & Sirius, platonic {J} / platonic, romantic {S}]
Ginny Weasley *
Hermione Granger
Pansy Parkinson *
Astoria Greengrass *
Rose Weasley *
Lily Luna Potter
Scorpius Malfoy [only against Albus, romantic, platonic, antagonistic]
Teddy Lupin [only against Albus & James, familial] *
OC (next gen, female)
CHARACTERS I WOULD LIKE TO WRITE AGAINST
James Potter
Sirius Black
Remus Lupin
Regulus Black
Draco Malfoy *
Harry Potter
Ron Weasley
George Weasley
Fred Weasley
Teddy Lupin *
James Sirius Potter *
Albus Severus Potter
Scorpius Malfoy *
OC (next gen, male)
Also you’ll notice that there are certain characters that appear on both lists - this is because 1) I like writing them and writing against them and 2) I prefer writing those characters opposite specific other characters. Essentially, my preference for writing these characters depend who my partner is writing. I have labeled on the ‘CHARACTERS I WRITE’ which ones (Remus, Scorpius, and Teddy) those are, and I have indicated the only characters against which I will write them. Meaning in all other situations other than what I have noted, I would prefer my partner to write them. Also, when I mentioned the female OC under the ‘CHARACTERS I WRITE’, it is not just one character. It means that I will either create a character or invent a child of another canon character to write alongside one of the other next-gen canon characters; typically, I will write an OC against Albus or James. Note also that I prefer to ignore the events of Cursed Child.  Before I finish up, here is some more info about me and my writing:
I can write replies ranging anywhere from 500-1200 words average - I know that’s a rather big window to call my “average”, but I don’t want to make it sound like that’s my strict length. This equates to around 3-7 paragraphs, but that obviously will vary depending on the size of the paragraph.
To repeat, I’m open to playing multiple characters if that suits your fancy, or, if you’d rather just play one each, that’s fine by me as well. If you do want to write multiple characters, then we can do more than one pairing at once or do more than one roleplay thread at once! I love doing both of those.
I’m smut friendly as well and don’t mind including it in my roleplays, but it’s really dependent on the content of the story itself. I don’t necessarily want a story that is focused solely on smut, but I wouldn’t mind having it play a part
I’m only interested in roleplaying over email at the moment. My email is [email protected].
And finally, here are some things that I’m looking for in a partner:
Be 18+, please. Since I’m in my twenties, I still feel uncomfortable roleplaying with minors (especially because some of my plots can contain smut).
I’m looking for someone who can at least mirror or match my minimum post length, so no fewer than 500 or so words.
Likewise, if you want to drop the roleplay for any reason, just let me know! I won’t be mad if it’s not working out, I just don’t want to be ghosted by someone who doesn’t want to continue and instead never replies again.
When you email me, let me know which pairings interest you/you would want to include! Tell me a little about yourself and the way you write as well (including whether or not you would like to include smut in the roleplay as well as your limits if it’s the latter).
Also, if you have an idea that I haven’t listed, ask/tell me! I’m very open to suggestions for pairings!
Contact
That’s all I can think of at the moment! I’m up for fluff or action or anything in between, so let me know what you’d like! Again, if there’s anything else not listed that you’ve been dying to try out, let me know! More likely than not, I’ll say yes and jump right on board. Shoot me an email at [email protected] with your interests and a little information about yourself (ex: average post length, activity, etc.). If you shoot me a message just saying a pairing you were interested in without telling me about yourself, then I won’t be as inclined to reply since I wouldn’t know anything about you! So please, tell me about yourself - I promise I won’t bite!

In terms of writing style, I write third person, past tense, multi-paragraph to novella. HEREare some samples of my writing! The first was an intro so it’s quite long, and the second is from the same roleplay as the first. The third is from a separate one.
For relationship pairings, I do all different kinds: romantic/sexual, platonic, familial, and antagonistic. I think it’s fine to mix and match all these different kids because they can make for some interesting character interaction! As for the gender pairings of the characters, I'm mostly looking for m/f, but depending on the idea/character I may do m/m (but please, make sure you ask first!).
Regarding the above, I very much prefer the female role in m/f pairings but of course in m/m pairings I will play a male. I don’t usually double in terms of each partner playing one male and one female, either - I know that is a deal-breaker for many, so I apologize for that. I may be willing to double in certain cases, but I’m not easily convinced - however, if you think you have mastered the arts of persuasion, then by all means, try to persuade me. I’m open to it.
I’m smut friendly as well and don’t mind including it in my roleplays, but it’s really dependent on the content of the story itself. I don’t necessarily want a story that is focused solely on smut, but I wouldn’t mind having it play a part (whether it’s small or large, that’s for you to decide). Going along with the NSFW theme, I’m all for most kinks - you name it, and more likely than not I’ll be willing to write it, but I would still rather you check with me first. The only ones that I won’t do and can’t be convinced to do are pedophilia, necrophilia, bestiality, anything with body fluids, feet, pregnancy/lactation, vore, and gore. Everything else is fair game. Note that of those, gore and only gore is fine when not employed sexually (i.e. if the characters are fighting or in battle or are doing something violent of the sort, then it is totally fine). If you’d like to include smut, ask me for my list of kinks and share yours with me as well!
I use face-claims for all of my characters and only use realistic images.
If you can play multiple characters, that would be wonderful, but again, it’s certainly not a requirement.
Use realistic face claims for characters, please! No anime or cartoons, but if you are an artist that has a more realistic style and would like to use your own art, then that is fine by me!
When you email me, let me know which things listed below interest you/you would want to include! Tell me a little about yourself and the way you write as well (including whether or not you would like to include smut in the roleplay as well as your limits if it’s the latter).
Also, if you have an idea that I haven’t listed, ask/tell me! I’m very open to suggestions!
Roleplay Information
On to the part that you’ve actually wanted to see! I have a variety of things that I would like to include in a roleplay. To set it up, my preferred role in a pairing will be italicized; if neither are italicized, then I will write either. I’ll also note what type of relationship I would be interested in writing for a particular pairing/plot (romantic/sexual, platonic, familial, or antagonistic); we can also combine some of the four (like a romantic/sexual and antagonistic would be fun). Additionally, we can combine pairings if you’d like by writing more than one character each. Anything with a carrot (^) means I have a plot in mind if you’d like to hear it, and anything with an asterisk (*) means that I am willing to write either m/f or m/m (which means anything without one means only m/f). I’m up for fluff or action or anything in between, so let me know what you want!
Fandoms
Harry Potter
Hermione Granger x Draco Malfoy (romantic/sexual and/or antagonistic)
Ginny Weasley x Draco Malfoy (romantic/sexual and/or antagonistic)
Lily Evans x James Potter (romantic/sexual and/or platonic)
Lily Evans x Sirius Black (platonic)
[Your suggestion] x [Your suggestion] (romantic/sexual, platonic, antagonistic and/or familial)
Fairy Tales
Note: if any animal-esque character is involved in the following pairings, any romantic/sexual interactions will occur when that character is in human form, and/or the character will be replaced with a similar human mythical creature (ex: werewolf).
Little Red Riding Hood
The [Boy/Girl] Who Cried Wolf *^
Beauty and the Beast *^
Pairings/Plot Points
Royalty x Royalty (romantic/sexual, platonic, and/or antagonistic) *
Royalty x Peasant (romantic/sexual, platonic, and/or antagonistic)
Royalty x Knight (romantic/sexual or platonic)
Kidnapping/abduction
Vampire x Human (romantic/sexual, platonic, and/or antagonistic) [note: I have done this one a lot of times, so if you’d like to do this one, make sure your plot is interesting and/or unique!]
Demon x Human (romantic/sexual and/or antagonistic)
Overprotectiveness/possessiveness [note: I love this relationship element, especially overprotectiveness!]
Demon x Demon Hunter (romantic/sexual and/or antagonistic)
Artist/Photographer x Model/Dancer (romantic/sexual, platonic, or familial) *
Superhero x Superhero (romantic/sexual, platonic, antagonistic, and/or familial)
Superhero x Supervillain (romantic/sexual, platonic, antagonistic, and/or familial)
Biker/Biker Gang x Civilian (romantic/sexual, platonic, and/or antagonistic)
Rich x Rich (romantic/sexual and/or antagonistic)
Rich x Poor (romantic/sexual, platonic, and/or antagonistic) *
Rich x Servant/Maid (romantic/sexual)
Genie x Human (romantic/sexual, platonic, and/or antagonistic) *
Fae/Fairy/Pixie x Human (romantic/sexual, platonic, and/or antagonistic)
Plots
I only have one pre-thought here, but I’m really open to your suggestions! If you’ve been dying to write a plot but haven’t found someone to write it with yet, please tell me! I’d be happy to satiate your craving.
A florist and tattoo shop are located across the street from each other, and the tattoo artist comes in every day to buy flowers/look at flowers to practice drawing, but both he and the florist are very much attracted to each other.
Characters
I’m not quite sure what to call this section, but it’s essentially a summary (more like bullets) of some characters that I already have ideas for that can be used in various different scenarios and plot-lines. They are in no particular order. If you are willing to let me use one of these, that will earn you major bonus points with me! Let me know if you are interested in any and I can elaborate. Most of them don’t have names yet (and the ones that do are subject to change) because I am very picky with names, aha, but I’ll think of those later. There obviously aren’t many of these at the moment, but there will likely be more of these added in the future. Anything with a plus (+) is one I am really dying to use! If you have an idea for/an already made character that you think would pair well with any of these, please describe them to me! Or, alternatively, if you have any characters you’ve been dying to use, let me know! Perhaps I can create a character to write opposite them.
i. signe // female // mid twenties // heterosexual // caucasian // danish-american // + // literal; intelligent; serious; anti-social; absent-minded; can be insensitive or inconsiderate; collected; judgmental; blunt; articulate; rarely smiles or laughs; doesn’t have much of a sense of humor nor finds many things funny; too straightforward  to lie; fluent in english, american sign language, spanish, danish; physics and mathematics double major, english minor; likes books and academics; doesn’t much like crowds; virgin; physics professor.
ii. olson // male // mid twenties // bisexual, prefers men // caucasian // american // bitter; sarcastic; serious; aloof; intelligent; private; defensive; lost hearing in his early childhood, received cochlear implants in late adolescence, speech still sounds “different” from a hearing person’s; knows American Sign Language (ASL) and English; film/television production and mathematics double major, art history minor; likes maps; doesn’t particularly like physical contact; photographer [note: would prefer to write him against a character who is hearing and able to talk rather than another character on the mute/hard-of-hearing spectrum; you can find his full character sheet HERE].

However, if we decide to do a m/m roleplay, I am not interested in top/bottom dynamics at all. I am especially not a fan of really cutsy, weak males either. Shy is fine, scrawny is fine, just not the trope of a typical “bottom” character. If I agree to an m/m roleplay, it means that both of our characters will not fit into either of those roles. They will just be who they are. It really peeves me when I do m/m roleplays and the character I write mine opposite is shy and blushy all the time. There is a time and place for that, and if that is part of who your character is, then fine. But there is a very clear line between being okay and realistic and being overboard and too much/exaggerated.
Regarding the above, I very much prefer the female role in m/f pairings but of course in m/m pairings I will play a male. I also find it interesting to write against more dominant male characters for heterosexual pairings, but that’s certainly not required. I can totally get behind a shy sweetheart of a guy as well! In the end, it’s your character, so it’s up to you!

Perhaps I can create a character to write opposite them.
i. anny // female // early to mid twenties // heterosexual // asian // american // + // laid-back; quiet; passive-aggressive; collected, sly; manipulative; understanding; charming; grew up wealthy, still is wealthy, doesn’t bring up financial situation much; has danced in various genres since she was little, still does; english major, cognitive science minor; plays the violin; dislikes uncleanliness; editor.
ii. olson // male // mid twenties // bisexual, prefers men // caucasian // american // + // bitter; sarcastic; serious; aloof; intelligent; private; defensive; lost hearing in his early childhood, received cochlear implants in late adolescence, speech still sounds “different” from a hearing person’s; knows American Sign Language (ASL) and English; film/television production and mathematics double major, art history minor; likes maps; doesn’t particularly like physical contact; photographer [note: would prefer to write him against a character who is hearing and able to talk rather than another character on the mute/hard-of-hearing spectrum; you can find his full character sheet HERE].

Looking for partners that will allow me to write some pre-made character ideas that I have!
Hello! My name's Rain, and I'm a 21-year-old who has been roleplaying for approximately 6 years (but only in the most recent 4 or 5 have I really been "serious"). After being dragged by the ankles (although not without a struggle) into a hellish chasm of personal issues that has kept me from writing, I’ve finally managed to work everything out and am now itching to get back into the roleplaying-game! I'm hoping that I can find some good partners to satiate my cravings, and hopefully I can satiate some of yours too. I'm particularly looking to write some ideas that I have for characters. If you emailed me in the past and I didn’t respond, shoot me another email! Like I said, I had some things get in the way, so I’d be up for rekindling a past roleplay or picking up planning where we left off.
I can write replies ranging anywhere from 500-1200 words average - I know that's a rather big window to call my "average", but I don't want to make it sound like that's my strict length. This equates to around 3-8 paragraphs, but that obviously will vary depending on the size of the paragraph. I can certainly go upwards from 1200 and have gone on to posts with 2000+, however that's usually too much for most people. Essentially, I'll write the same amount you write so that it's not over or underwhelming. Let me know your range and I'll adapt! Although, if you would be willing to write 1500+/2000+ words a post, then you’d earn quite a bit on bonus points from me.
In terms of writing style, I write third person, past tense, multi-paragraph to novella. HERE are some samples of my writing! The first was an intro so it’s quite long, and the second is from the same roleplay as the first. The third is from a separate one.
I'm also putting this up front - my schedule's a bit wonky. There will be some days where we can go back and forth multiple times with multiple posts each and there will be some days where I can't reply at all. I'll try my best to let you know in advance if there will be a period of 2+ days where I can't reply, but things happen. My activity rate is partially dependent on interest level as well - if I'm really into and excited about our roleplay, I'll be able to reply more often!
On a similar note, I'm on the east coast (EST) if that's an important factor for you.
I'm open to playing multiple characters if that suits your fancy, or, if you'd rather just play one each, that's fine by me as well.
For relationship pairings, I do all different kinds: romantic/sexual, platonic, familial, and antagonistic. I think it's fine to mix and match all these different kids because they can make for some interesting character interaction! As for the gender pairings of the characters, I'm mostly looking for m/f, but depending on the idea/character I may do m/m (but please, make sure you ask first!).
Regarding the above, I very much prefer the female role in m/f pairings but of course in m/m pairings I will play a male. I also find it interesting to write against more dominant male characters for heterosexual pairings, but that's certainly not required. I can totally get behind a shy sweetheart of a guy as well! In the end, it’s your character, so it’s up to you! I don't usually double in terms of each partner playing one male and one female, either - I know that is a deal-breaker for many, so I apologize for that.
Perhaps I can create a character to write opposite them.
i. anny // female // early to mid twenties // heterosexual // asian // american // laid-back; quiet; passive-aggressive; collected, sly; manipulative; understanding; charming; grew up wealthy, still is wealthy, doesn’t bring up financial situation much; has danced in various genres since she was little, still does; english major, cognitive science minor; plays the violin; dislikes uncleanliness; editor.
ii. olson // male // mid twenties // bisexual, prefers men // caucasian // american // + // bitter; sarcastic; serious; aloof; intelligent; private; defensive; lost hearing in his early childhood, received cochlear implants in late adolescence, speech still sounds “different” from a hearing person’s; knows American Sign Language (ASL) and English; film/television production and mathematics double major, art history minor; likes maps; doesn’t particularly like physical contact; photographer [note: would prefer to write him against a character who is hearing and able to talk rather than another character on the mute/hard-of-hearing spectrum].

Reaching for the Stars
Introduction & About Me
Hello! My name's Rain, and I'm a 20-year-old who has been roleplaying for approximately 6 years (but only in the most recent 4 or 5 have I really been "serious"). After a rather undesirable, chaotic hiatus, I've managed to claw my way back up from the depths of hell to return to roleplaying once more. It's certainly nice to be back in the swing of things, and I've been having a terrible itch to write again that I'm hoping to be able to satiate! Sorry if this post looks rather ugly, I'm not the best with bbcode and such.
Essentially, I'll write the same amount you write so that it's not over- or underwhelming. Let me know your range and I'll adapt! Although, if you would be willing to write 1500+/2000+ words a post, then I would be very very interested!
In terms of writing style, I write third person, past tense.
As for the gender pairings of the characters, I'm mostly looking for m/f.
Regarding the above, I very much prefer the female role in m/f pairings. I'm also into writing against more dominant male characters for heterosexual pairings, but that's certainly not required. In the end, it’s your character, so it’s up to you! I don't usually double in terms of each partner playing one male and one female, either - I know that is a deal-breaker for many, so I apologize for that. I will write multiple female characters, though.
I'm smut friendly as well and like to include it in my roleplays, but it's really dependent on the content of the story itself. I don't necessarily want a story that is focused solely on smut, but I would definitely be interested in having it play a part (whether it’s small or large, that’s for you to decide). Going along with the NSFW theme, I'm all for and interested in most kinks - you name it, and more likely than not I'll be willing to write it, but I would still rather you check with me first. The only ones that I won't do and can't be convinced to do are pedophilia, necrophilia, bestiality, anything with body fluids, feet, pregnancy/lactation, vore, and gore. Everything else is fair game. Note that of those, gore and only gore is fine when not employed sexually (i.e. if the characters are fighting or in battle or are doing something violent of the sort, then it is totally fine).
I use face-claims for all of my characters and only use realistic images.
I'm only interested in roleplaying over email at the moment. My email is [email protected].
What I'm Looking for in a Partner
Now that we've got those basics out of the way, there are certain things that I would like out of a partner that hopefully someone can provide!
Be 18+, please. I know I'm technically on the younger end of the adult spectrum but I still feel uncomfortable roleplaying with minors (especially because most of my plots will contain smut).
I would prefer if you were female, just because I am more comfortable roleplaying and writing with someone who is the same gender as I am, but that isn’t a requirement.
I'm looking for someone who can at least mirror or match my minimum post length, so no fewer than 3-4 paragraphs or 500 or so words. Again, if you want to write longer replies that span the 1500+ word range, than that would be even better!
I would like if you wrote in the third person. Tense doesn't matter - write present or past, that's up to you. But I won't roleplay with anyone who writes in the first or second person, as it is a little weird to me.
If you can get me at least one post every other day, I'd be happy! If you can get me more than that, even better! Also, let me know if you're not going to be able to reply for a prolonged period of time so that I'm not sitting on my hands wondering where you went.
Likewise, if you want to drop the roleplay for any reason, just let me know! I won't be mad if it's not working out, I just don't want to be ghosted by someone who doesn't want to continue and instead never replies again. Don't be that person.
If you can play multiple characters, that would be wonderful, but again, it's certainly not a requirement.
Use realistic face claims for characters, please! No anime, cartoons, or drawings.
When you email me, let me know which things listed below interest you/you would want to include! Tell me a little about yourself and the way you write as well (including whether or not you would like to include smut in the roleplay as well as your limits if it's the latter).
Also, if you have an idea/kink that I haven't listed, ask me! I'm very open to suggestions!
Roleplay Information
On to the part that you've actually wanted to see! I have a variety of things that I would like to include in a roleplay. To set it up, asterisks (*) indicate interest, meaning the more asterisks, the higher the craving! My preferred role in a pairing will be italicized; if neither are italicized, then I will write either. I'll also note what type of relationship I would be interested in writing for a particular pairing/plot (romantic/sexual, platonic, familial, or antagonistic); we can also combine some of the four (like a romantic/sexual and antagonistic would be fun). Additionally, we can combine pairings if you’d like by writing more than one character each.
Kinks
If you are interested in one that isn't listed, ask! Also, if you would like to include smut, let me know your kinks or anything you would like to include when you email me. Let me know your limits as well!
