what's the threshold theory

There was a post about how Tom is the only crew member who isn't really affected by the Borg, and there's a theory that he has so much luck because he saw the past and the future when he crossed the transwarp threshold. He saw the past and the future, all of time and space. There's some subconscious part of him that remembers that experience. In fact, Tom refused to play a part in Chakotay indulging Annorax's temporal incursions, probably because a part of him knew nothing good could come of it.

If we extend that same theory to Janeway, some of her wild luck with time travel and other crack plans starts to make sense. She doesn't verbally hate time travel until after the events of Threshold, since it happens in Time and Again without complaint. Janeway has an uncanny knack for time travel, as evidenced every time she deals with it. She hates time travel, but it might be because part of her knows exactly how to manipulate the timeline. She manages to avoid the "inevitable" temporal explosion in Future's End, saving both Voyager and Braxton. She resets the entire timeline in Year of Hell, and no one else followed her reasoning. She pulled it off flawlessly. In Relativity, she senses the incidents are all related, despite it being just one reading that connects them. By the time she's involved, she has a temporal incursion factor of .0036 and a time travel protocol named after her, even if that may just be Braxton's personal grudge. Then there's Endgame, where she intentionally changes the timeline. Up until this point, she has been dragged into time travel, but for the first time, she jumps in on purpose. How does Admiral Janeway know how to get them home sooner in a way that completely avoids the Temporal Integrity Commission? It's because she has seen all of time, and part of her knows exactly what needs to happen so she can get Voyager home and do it in a way that becomes baked into the prime timeline. Maybe she doesn't consciously remember what happened during her transformation, but the experience lives in her mind somewhere, guiding her decisions.

Lloyd would be a messy eater. Food on his clothes, hair, all over the table, on the floor, everywhere.

Nya is the type to choke things down her throat without swallowing. She likes eating, but it’s too time consuming, so she just takes one huge bite of the whole thing and swallows.

Jay is the type to wanna watch something whilst eating. He sets the food on his lap, turns on the TV or goes onto youtube, and just watches whatever as he munches.

Kai is a fast eater. Not on purpose or anything, he just eats unusually fast. Leaves zero mess too.

Cole hates leaving any food on his plate. Like, he’s not gonna waste it, and theres only a bit left, so he might as well painstakingly eat the last bits for the sake of satisfaction of a clean plate.

Wu doesn’t eat (he doesn’t need to as often). He drinks tea.

Zane doesn’t need to eat. But he likes to. He guilt trips Wu into eating with the “poor, lonely, slow eater” Zane.

Bonus:

Morro casually forgets to eat, so Wu always had to call him down to eat at specific times with a meal in hand. After he left, he would always feel hungry at a specific time three times a day and could not rest until he had something to eat.

Skylor likes the cooking part more than the eating part, mainly because she’s never satisfied with eating her own food, but someone needs to test them to make sure they’re good for the shop. She does like soup though.

Pixal became the chosen one for Skylor when she shared how she wished to try eating more unique foods.

shes both a robot and a hologram but she mostly uses the hologram bc it’s more convenient for communication. she’s more carefree and silly than series pixal but she gets the job done!

so bc the movie is like glacierpocalypse i decided to be self indulgent and make hotwire a thing since i kinda shipped them when i first watched rebooted (though i like to call them firewall)

aside from that she’s best friends w/ nya, she usually repairs and builds her new motorcycles whenever she crashes into school property. the worst case was when nya accidentally rode out the window from the 4th floor.

she’s also best friends with zane and obviously have that robot bond even if zane would try to deny his robotisms. they gossip in morse code and binary in front of everyone else so noone understands them

i love movie cole hes too silly and him and pixal are good friends, they often hang out together and thinking of their dynamic makes me want more cole-pixal stuff in the actual show

she makes fun of jay like everyone else but in the end she believes he just needs a boost of morale and a touch of reality. he will nerd out over things with her and hack security systems together

shes more forgiving and nicer to lloyd than she is with the other ninja and really wishes the best for him. shes happy to help him with whatever and sends computer viruses to his anyone who looks at him funny

Hello again friends! I wanted to wait before posting but I couldn't resist!

The headcanons for these cuties:

Lloyd: His eyes are the most rare you can find, someone says that the only one having eyes shaped like that was the FSM himself! His eyes are bright green with red,magenta and gold in it;

Nya: Her eyes are brown like her brother, but with the great strength of the ocean in them, someone says that sometimes you can see said waves change but who knows;

Pixal: Precise and bright eyes, their color recreates that of a common human being, but the shape of the irises highlights the nindroid part of her (Zane finds them really pretty...and I agree!)

Skylor: The shape of her eyes is oval like the most beautiful pieces of amber, such a gem can be seen in the bottom of her eyes, perhaps this sweet substance is precisely what attracted/trapped kai to her...ahah!

Bonus headcanon: It's true that Lloyd has the same eyes as his grandfather (just a different colour) and this is why Wu can't look at him in the eyes. Lord/Sensei!Garmadon, on the other hand, can do it just fine; but Emperor!Garmadon? Just has a violent urge to yell at them...

I know that Dragons Rising is meant to be like a soft reboot that should be able to be watched without having watched the entire main show However I do think the extraordinary happiness at old characters getting mentioned is completely missed that way
