Don’t mind me just retconning my own au for the sake of a more interesting dynamic, aka Eddie and Nancy are now best friends in the supernatural creatures au
Now you may be wondering, how does a vampire become best friends with a monster hunter? The answer is Nancy was a very lonely child and resorted to talking to the vampire that got captured

Can't wait for the millisecond Wilbur slightly hovers his mouse cursor over the QSMP Launcher, when Quackity will immediately send a single text to the egg admins groupchat that just says "NOW!!!"
(and then for QNPC02 to crack their knuckles and unleash the angstiest Tallulah monologue, with the kind of despair to make Revivebur proud)

───[ First Meeting ]───
when poke!ren and poke!ro meet, ro's sitting at the water, drawing the landscape using chalk pastel, their team sitting around them or playing off to the side... and then they see A Little Freak (affectionate) crawling around in the grass, looking for Critters and things to forage. and he's focusing so hard that doesn't realize they're there until he's right beneath them, almost bumping into their chair ;;;

watched the musical demon show (don't wanna name it so this post isn't in the tags) at the behest of an IRL friend and i can already tell this is going to be a piece of media where i absolutely cannot stop thinking about it, not because i really love the show as-is, but because it has so many individual components i really like and find incredibly fun or compelling, and i'm so frustrated that it doesn't come together for me
i think the main thing i can say about it as a show, setting aside some of the insensitive choices that were made that i really don't feel qualified to tackle or talk about, is that the entire thing sort of gives off this vibe of someone really excited to show you every single oc they made in high school and college and i very genuinely mean that in both the best and worst ways possible
there are some good hooks for season two though so i will absolutely give them that

Hot take I might have here but as fun as Porter being a villain was he wasn’t a good villain in the fantasy high universe. He was set up a a very tough villain but that kinda went no where. There was the lingering information about his ancestors and the frostblade connection but that all it seemed like. And we are meant to believe by canon that Porter killed Jace to corrupt him and there was no other person behind this besides Porter. And the only one besides Porter being fully into him becoming a God was Kipperlilly. Idk looking back it seems kinda messy, like the Porter the villain seems to fall flat, and so do the ratgrinders tie in especially Kipperlilly. And even in the fight like it feels to me Porter didn’t really do much the 3 main issues were Kipperlilly (who got made by Riz), Jace, and Marry Ann (who had she not been slowed at the start would have been wailing on the bad kids) my thoughts are every where but I’m honestly just a little disappointed with the final battle

Hot take, but i see Zenyatta's and Ramattra's dynamic like Ahsoka's and Anakin's dynamic. Looking at their story, their interactions, the lore behind Null Sector and the lore with Zenyatta.
Both are warrior monks, one takes the other under his wing, but the duo eventually finds the dogmatic approach of the temple restrictive and unhelpful for truly maintaining peace. One finds their own path to resolving conflict, individual and distinctly separate from the temple (Zenyatta, Ahsoka), the other proposes authoritarian control to maintain peace and order, rejecting the temple, and hurting those they wish to protect (Anakin, Ramattra).
Ramattra is fighting due to fear and anger, scared of loosing those dear to him (Anakin vibes). Zenyatta is fighting due to a desire to help peoples find peace, and to find his purpose (Ahsoka vibes).
With that said, I could be completely wrong, but Ram and Zen really do seem something like Ahsoka and Anakin's dynamic to me, like found family siblings, brother and sister, mentor and mentee, eventually breaking away from each other in a tragic loss, and that's why I cannot for the life of me ship Ram and Zen under that interpretation lol. They are brothers, both in the monastic and found family sense.
