Like depending on the age group, the characters look like they come from?? 3 different genres: teenagers look pretty standard for a shounen, there are disgusting detail looking adult men, and incredibly chibi little kids. The chickens are also pretty realistic looking too.

ok ok so the thing with destiny 2 is how inaccessible it is to new/returning players. we all know this. im perfectly fine with paying 10, even 15 euros every three months for a game that i enjoy. ffxiv is one of my favorite games right now. im used to paying far more. i dont mind messy storytelling. i think it can be fun.

my problem is entirely that because i stopped paying attention somewhere between beyond light and witch queen, there is no longer any way for me to catch up in the game itself. i got burnt out on destiny. i stepped away for almost the entirety of the witch queen - lightfall period. and now i can no longer get back into it. and thats not because im no longer interested in it. i still adore the lore and characters in destiny. but i dont want to have to watch videos on youtube to get a vague understanding of the plot?

and i get it. okay. the game is bloated. the last time i looked the destiny 2 file size (including all dlc) was around 100gb. but fuck if it isnt frustrating that i cant get back into a game i loved so much 2-3 years ago

i know we all love michael afton, and like i get it, i love him too, but sometimes it really feels like the fnaf fandom cares sooo much about sadboy michael being the saddest boy of all time that they pretend other characters had better lives just so michael seems sadder by comparison

objectively i think elizabeth and the crying child get the worst of this, but especially elizabeth. theres this persistent idea that elizabeth was williams favorite and beautiful angel and he loved and doted on her so much while poor poor mike got nothing. so often i see the dynamic put forward that william was physically abusive but only towards michael. which is ridiculous for a lot of reasons, but especially because we only see william get physical with any of his kids once, and its when he hits elizabeth in the silver eyes.

obviously, the silver eyes is a different continuity. whatever. its still canon, so the things it tells us about the general world and characters still applies. and it outright shows william as an abusive and neglectful father to His Daughter. and EVEN if you want to completely disregard the books, william obviously didnt “love” elizabeth enough in the games to not want to electrocute and experiment on her when he 100% knew she was possessing circus baby. elizabeth was a means to an end to him the same way michael was. he didnt even love her enough to properly keep an eye on her even though he knew she wanted to see a robot that would kill her. if william cared about elizabeth half as much as people pretend he does she would still be alive, because he wouldve put half a mind towards keeping her safe

+ cc is in a similar boat. william had a million chances to be a decent father and try to step in between cc and michael before things went too far. the bite happened at ccs birthday party, literally all william had to do was show up to his own sons birthday and he could have stepped in but he didnt. like, we all know william was using the fredbear plush to keep an eye on cc, so theres no doubt he knew the kid was being bullied. and not only does he do nothing about it, he also 1) actively feeds into ccs fears about the animatronics 2) still makes him go to the establishment housing the animatronics hes terrified of

and the way william talks about them. “you are broken” “i will put you back together” like william views his kids as objects. broken things he can fix. these are not words said by a loving parent

and its not even just the aftons! henry is no where near as horrible as william is—i Am Not suggesting henry was abusive—but he also wasnt a great dad! building a robot to watch your daughter instead of watching your daughter yourself does not make you a good parent! henry loves charlotte, but the emilys were not some perfect family with no issues.

obviouslyyy michael suffered a ton and was a victim no one is saying he wasnt but i promiseee that does not have to come at the cost of pretending no one else was a victim too. things are just as if not more interesting if you acknowlede other characters guys i promise i promise

LANDO HAS EVERY FUCKING RIGHT TO BE PISSED AND DISAPOINTED

I love Oscar, for goodness sake he's my favourite driver and IM SO HAPPY HE WON!!!!! But it wasnt Lando's fault what happened, those team orders were shit and what happened on the race will obviously put a bad taste on both of their drivers' mouth

While I do think Oscar deserved the win since he drove very well today, imo after that shitshow that was that second pitstop, Lando also had every right to keep p1. Its fucked to prioritize a driver and then forcing him to swap with his teammate

We cant forget that Lando is atm p2 on the drivers championship, and yes there's a big gap to Max but every point counts. I've been seeing people calling Lando selfish for what happened and yea if he had taken the win he would have been selfish, but then we do admit that past WDC were selfish and praise their doings. Why do we negatively accuse only Lando of being selfish?? Its hypocritical.

Lando could have been really selfish and taken the win and the points for his place in the championship, but he didnt and that shows how much he cares about his teammate. Many drivers, like Max let's be honest, wouldn't have done for their teammate what Lando did today. And maybe Lando took alot of time to do the swap but we need to recognize that he wasnt put in a easy position, he had a decent gap when Oscar left the pitlane and had a chance to get more points, how many drivers would have jumped to that chance?

Its McLaren's fault period. Oscar isnt blaming Lando and Lando isnt blaming Oscar, there's no need to make drama where it doesnt exist. McLaren screwed both drivers and in fact Lando is more disappointed with his race start than with what happened later on.

The radios that were shared between the pitwall and the drivers weren't pretty and shows how much the team was at fault. Lando wasnt made aware that he would undercut Oscar, then he was given a "deal" that he would swap positions when his teammate reached him, ofc he would make a gap like any other racing driver would do, and then he was frankly guilt tripped in live tv to let Oscar pass through. I wouldn't be happy if that happened to me and I dont think anyone else would be.

IT WASNT LANDO IT WAS THE POOR STRATEGY THAT TAINTED OSCAR'S MAIDEN WIN

BOTH drivers were put on a tough position. McLaren did shitty strategy calls and then tried to fix the things on the worst way possible, playing with their drivers' feelings, ofc Lando will be pissed!! This was weird and this shouldn't be what racing is.

Once again I'll say that I'm very happy for Oscar's win, I'm very proud of him and I think he totally deserves it!!! Still I think we all should acknowledge that McLaren screwed both of them and that it's normal they aren't feeling well with how the race ended, we should let them sort everything out at their own pace and not be accusing or talking badly about any of them now.

Now we need to wait and see if this decisions will affect anything in the long term but we'll see.

FINALLY, ive finished 25% of exile, the second book in the kotlc series. here are some thoughts i had :)

first off, why are second books in a series always the ones that take the most time / are harder to start? ig it could be that we've already established the worldbuilding n main characters, but its still that dragging stage between *where you already know mostly everything in the universe* and *where the climax builds up in anticipation of the "final battle" or the beginning of the third act, usually*. nothing to do w the book itself, just an observation

second off, alicorns are so much more important than being just "another species to save", im sure of it. theres wayyy too much of the council getting involved n talk abt how alicorns are sooo important. to anyone whos read percy jackson it kinda reminds me of the ophiortaurus (bessie) from sea of monsters, who seemed to be a recurring animal side character who turned out to have a lot of significance to the very universe they were in. im expecting smth similar, why else would everyone go to such lengths to ensure alicorns dont go extinct? or maybe im overthinking it lmao but what gives it away is the heckses literally tryna kidnap silveny-

speaking of the heckses, who the fuck tries to steal an alicorn. stinas parents are the whiniest bitches ive ever seen, and im a fifteen year old girl. like cmon ive seen some drama queens over the years, but those two- also, fucking stina. i mentioned before that i hope to see some character development w her, so shes not just the boring one-dimensional mean girl thats prevalent in literally every piece of media thats come out since mean girls w regina george. clearly not yet, tho, but im waiting on it (if it does not happen i will be majorly disappointed)

also, delving into theories now. its kinda far-fetched, but, was brant w the black swan ? i mean, it would add up pretty decently. it would explain why his guilt for jolies death runs so deeply (since grady rlly rlly seems to believe that the black swan killed her) because he would be with the literal organization that killed her. it would also explain reeeeaaaaalllllyyyy well why he recognized sophie. the fact that he knew her was wayy too emphasized to mean nothing. idk JUST A THEORY, its not based off of anything other than it would fit nicely w everything else.

but also if grady is so adamant that it was the black swan, and (hypothetically) brant is w the black swan, then would it be improbable to assume that he killed her? which would explain the guilt even MORE. but then again, he does seem to love her, so that last part is added very tentatively. (maybe he killed her by accident... but then would the note to grady three days before her death just be a coincidence? im sure that has some deeper meaning.)

maybe it wasnt the black swan who sent those notes to grady...

to end on a funnier note: alicorn poop. sophie faceplanted into alicorn poop. it happens to all main characters, it always has to be someone walking in at the worst moment. i thought id be the vackers w keefe who show up n embarass her, but who better than the council to get humiliated in front of ? i dont hate sophie i just laugh at her pain

k so once a complete unknown comes out idk what i'll do. first off i have no idea if ill be hyperfixated on bob but it's been a LONG hyperfixation so yknow. maybe. and it's honestly only probably gonna be a year bc theyve made us wait sooo long and theyre done with filming and theyve recorded most if not all the songs and post production shouldnt take long bc theres not like huge cgi shit so. which means theres a good chance itll be out before winter 2025 . now i have irl friends who are timothee fans who want to see the movie when it comes out. so a lot of timothee fans will def go see the movie, but the general population?. i honestly dont know its def marketed more towardsa general audience but like its not like wonka was the biggest movie of the year or anything or the songs went off the charts. but my prediction is that one dylan song that wasnt as popular before will trend on tiktok or something bc timothee covered it and timothees version will become more popular than the og. idk which song bc im honestly not sure if theyre gonna do just any bob song or only the era presented in the movie. if its the era in the movie i think its gonna be an another side of bob dylan song bc that entire album is pretty underrated, except for my back pages it's not that popular for dylan, and it has a lot of lyrically amazing songs. im thinking maybe i dont believe you she acts like we never have met, n it would make sense to play in the movie. but it could be any song , like if theyre playing all eras bob then probably one of his newer songs. random lov headcanons

tomura was (and is) the biggest bug kid. he loves them. after he came to afo he was wary of dogs bc of mon and wasn’t allowed any other pets/friends anyway, so he got fond of the spiders and creepy crawlies he found around the bar. he also likes them because theyre also misunderstood and disliked for no reason.

after he gets out of prison he gets a pet tarantula. shuuichi puts up with her bc he’s a good boyfriend and eventually grows fond. dabi and kurogiri are entirely indifferent but the rest of the league refuse to touch/go near her

when compress and kurogiri started to flirt tomura was extremely protective and suspicious of compress. he enlisted the rest of the league (this was post kamino but pre-kurogiri’s arrest) to secretly investigate compress for anything sketchy. unfortunately none of them including tomura really knew what constituted sketchiness amongst a group of supervillains so after a while they gave up. tomura kept a close eye on compress for a long time tho.

dabi has his real name tattooed onto his inner lip along with his date of birth. he got it done when he was 19 just in case he died on the street before he could reveal anything, in the hopes that maybe an autopsy would be conducted.

all the league donate blood to himiko on the regular, so long as she uses clean needles

himiko usually has a supply of league blood on her, and even if not she usually still has some in her system, and she transforms into them whenever she feels unsafe.

after they get out of prison tomura is finally free to express himself with his body. afo banned body mods bc a.) tomura wasnt supposed to go outside and b.) because that’s going to be his body someday

tomura has his hair cut short whilst he was in prison, but ends up growing it out again afterwards bc it just felt weird

he gets tattoos. i havent decided exactly what but he definitely lets each of the league design a small stick and poke each for him. probably gets a few video game themed ones too, and some flowers in honour of hana and the rest of his family (sans his father).

during his surgery to get new skin grafts dabi loses all his staples and piercings. after he gets out endeavour gives him some money (with the offer of more if dabi is willing to move back home) but instead touya uses it to replace all his old piercings and get new ones

he convinces tomura to go with him. tomura gets a lip ring and a helix piercing.

dabi always wanted a pet (specifically a dog but he wasnt fussy) growing up but was never allowed one. during prison he was approved for a therapy cat, a scraggly black rescue. she spends 90% of her time riding on his shoulders and hates everyone but him.

at some point he also gets a dog as well. i havent decided what breed yet. he spends an ungodly amount of time training it even tho he insists he doesnt care.

dabi, tomura and shuuichi have never been to a hairdresser before and none of them ever plan to. they either cut their own hair (dabi and shuuichi) or just dont cut it at all (tomura)

dabi and kurogiri are amazing cooks. tomura is an ok cook but only cooks and eats the plainest foods imaginable. himiko, shuuichi, magne and jin are all decent cooks, they just don’t have any particular passion for it. compress isnt allowed near the kitchen unsupervised under any circumstances.

after they find out about dabis 3 year coma the league decides that it means that dabi is actually 3 years younger than he says he is, making him 20 when he joined the league. dabi calls bullshit but both tomura and shuuichi insist that they’re actually older and therefore he has to respect them as his elders. 

maybe at some point after he gets out of jail the todoroki sibs jump on this too. touya is Not Pleased.

dabi and atsuhiro often get high and watch the worst/most obscure movies they can find together

all of the league love watching horror movies together and laughing at them.

garaki replaced the piece of jawbone dabi lost with a piece of someone else’s skeleton. he did a reasonably good job but dabi’s jaw is still ever so slightly lopsided.

bc of the burns on his throat sometimes he ends up not being able to talk, sometimes for up to a few days at a time. in the begining he’d just disappear until he got better or else write down what he wanted to say, but his handwriting is shit so in the end he begrudgingly admitted defeat and learnt sign language. the whole league learnt with him.

kurogiri is half ghanaian and dabi is quarter chinese

spinner had a tail when he was born but his parents ended up paying for it to be amputated when he was young. thanks to stress and a poor diet it never grew back, but after he gets out of prison it does (though it’s always a little shorter than it would’ve been had it grown normally)

they also had his retractable claws removed. later on before he joined the league he got new claws fitted, ones made of metal, but they’re non-retractable

spinner requires more protein in his diet than the baseline human. dabi needs a lot of calories bc his quirk burns through them so fast even when he’s not actively using it.

neither of them realise this until they’re being rehabilitated. they still get prison food, but it is catered to their dietary needs and they both have  realisations of oh so THAT’S why i felt so shitty all the time

after getting out of prison tomura starts going by tenko, but he still responds to tomura

touya considers changing his name to something completely new, but eventually decides not to. he does usually dispense with his surname entirely tho

he usually goes by just touya, no last name

if he absolutely has to give a surname (outside of a legal documents where he has to put down todoroki) he usually just picks one from the league. sometimes he’ll put it down as hikiishi touya, sometimes sako touya, etc.

At first I was mixed about Lily's return but the more I think about the more it feels right.

Lily is cursed.

She is the woman in the comics that kills Lorie and her baby at the prison before snapping and killing the Governor.

She always follows people that in some twisted way remind her of her dad and in the end helps bring the end of whatever group she is apart of.

The Delta lost so many in Lily's attempt to get the kids all because of one she knew from so long ago. One from the first group she destroyed.

im gonna be honest when i say i ... really never understood all the hang ups people had about lily returning to fill the villain role for s4

like lily returning in s4 makes more sense to me than kenny returning in s2 im gonna be real with you all. lily was at worst left on the side of the road and at best had her own rv at least she wasnt left for dead in a walker infested alleyway. personally i was hoping for a christa return (because i dont want to admit she really died 💀 no body=no death) but lily made enough sense to me and i was excited by her reveal

clem knew lily at the beginning of the outbreak. before 8 years of it turned them into different people. clem isnt the scared little girl she used to be. shes grown up into an extremely capable fighter. and while lily at the beginning of the outbreak seemed like a tired woman trying to keep it together, but also felt the need to take charge and didnt like being questioned (who also cared too much about her awful father but we get more insight into that in s4), by s4 shes lost any shred of kindness she mightve had left. she was military before the outbreak and now given a position of power rules through fear and an iron fist (just like her father). but there are moments between her and clem where we can see just a Glimpse of that old lily ("we were family once..."). but all of that goes away once she realizes that clem is a genuine threat now. and lily recognizes that clem would be a perfect soldier if she can just break her the way she herself was broken so long ago. and if she cant break clem then she'll break aj instead

and then we have the lee element. lily is the Only other person left from that first group at the motel (she did not destroy that group btw ben did like cmon now and ben Keeps destroying it after lily isnt even around anymore). and while shes wrong to say she knew lee better than clem ever did, lee and lily (and kenny) were group leaders together while clem was eating her apple and coloring with chalk. like the adults were speaking. and depending on how you played s1 lee could have a decent relationship with lily. lily being able to sow those seeds of doubt in s4 clems head is just fun mind games

they have History. clem still wears the hair ties lily gave her all the way back in s1. she helped take care of clem for a time. looked out for her. and in a different universe clem Easily couldve ended up standing in minnies shoes instead

also in regards to the delta we Know they dont really want to be kidnapping kids to fight in a war that would probably kill most of them in the first 5 minutes. if they had the adults to be fighting instead they would be. it just shows us how dire the deltas situation really is. they were just expecting to find a bunch of kids for easy picking but clem turned them all into skilled enough fighters to successfully kill a few of them and raid their boat. clem is a big enough win that it doesnt even matter how skilled the rest of the kids are. plus lily was just leading the excursion. we dont know how high up the ladder she really was and how much power she really held. maybe she had something to prove back at the delta (my one real gripe is that we didnt get to actually See the delta. in my perfect world there were 5 episodes and ep 4 was about the delta 😔)

both lily and clem are just trying to save their communities. the difference is lily wants to uphold the status quo of fear and force and war, and clem is trying to build a safe community thats different from the many shes seen. she and the rest of the kids just want to carve out their own little safe haven in this dangerous and unforgiving world. they make a place truly worth fighting for

clem getting some form of closure with lily i feel might get to help her close the book so to speak on her history up until this point. clem has been fighting for so long... but she has a new home now. a new community. she can Chill a little bit. shes gonna grow into such an incredible leader 😭 (not that she isnt already 😭)

so. i started working at macys back in october. im a seasonal worker then. work was busy almost constantly bc hey, holiday season. the lines are busy. i have to constantly deliver packages w/e. it wasnt that bad? even when it was black friday or we had friends & family it did not feel bad. sure i felt a little strained bc no free time but i was like at least i have something to put on my resume!

so then its the end of my seasonal schedule. im like yeah im done w/ this. its fine. i start looking for work while im unemployed. didnt get the unemployment ok w/e. having better control of my spending. my moms bday comes and goes. its all good. my mental health is great! i get a call from my manager asking if i want a full time position. part of me is like. dont do it. other part of me is like. go for it.

i go for it. its like the worst mistake ever. customers are somehow more ruder and impatient than when it was the holiday season. my hours are fucking awful because im full time. like seriously, 40 hours a week when im only getting paid 17 an hour?!?! one week i had 50 hours and i had a fucking breakdown on my day off and now i have panic attacks before i have to go to work. i took a mental health day last week or something bc i just couldnt do it anymore. my spending habits got Worse. like genuinely.

i have a hard time paying my bills its like awful lol. im bipolar so like, its not helping. i find it hard to finish up things i needed to finish months ago. and to top it off, i can find myself unable to control my anger, something ive been decent at controlling but now the customers are actually pushing me to my limit. like im sorry but if youre gonna treat me like a doormat you have another thing coming.

Chapter 21 It Runs Deep: Two days have passed since the disaster of an experiment in the Long Island woods. And some people are coping better than others. However Mikey seems to be one of the people having the worst time. So Michelangelo suggests that they go skateboarding, to clear his head. Simple enough right? Well the Sando brothers show up so clearly that wasnt gonna happen. However as the duo and a surprise ally battle the crabs at the Bronx Zoo, they come to a horrifying revelation. They hadnt gotten rid of all of the oozequitos.

Chapter 22 The Deadly Croaking: The Mikeys and friend come face to face with brand new mutants in the Bronx Zoo. Mutant poison dart frogs. The fight was going ok until Mikey froze. Then the trio were poisoned and captured. And even worse the Oozequitos escape into the city. While the rest of the group is hunting the dangerous insects, its up to Leo and Leonardo to rescue their younger brothers. However the effects of the disastrous experiment will make this borderline impossible.

Chapter 23 Super Dorky Pals For Life: Donnie and Donatello get to work on repairing the portal generator. However there was an extensive amount of damage and with no Kraang tech finding the needed supplies would be very difficult. Donatello offers that they search Repo's junkyard. A decent place to start, might find a useable car battery or some scrap metal. The duo meet up with April and go searching. However the junkyard had been reclaimed by none other than Big Mama. After a battle with Repo its revealed that she took his cat as leverage. If Repo complies his cat will remained unharmed. So the trio head to the New Nexus Hotel on a rescue mission. However Big Mama's assistant wont let take the mantis cat so easily...

Also a bonus so me and Sunset Linings can tie in round 2...Chapter 24 From Bad To Worse: Leo, Mikey, Michelangelo and Raph are racing across the city, trying to catch the Oozequitos before they have even more dangerous mutants on their hands. Things especially get bad when ten Oozequitos end up inside the Stock n Shop. Now they have to protect the people while also avoiding Stockboy's attempts to expose them to the entire world. Meanwhile Leonardo and Raphael slip out of the lair to have a much needed discussion about the incident, Splinter's death, what they're going to do once they return to their dimension, and if "plan b" is still on the table at all. However Rise Splinter, worried about the two, follows them.

Okay final two pony seasons thoughts:

-i wasnt as big of a fan of s8 cause it felt like they tried too hard to work in lessons about the elements and so a lot of the mane 6 focused episodes were not very memorable

-love the young 6 tho. Theyre precious.

-season 9 was great for all that they spent the whole season building towards the end and doing big things for the characters to give them a proper sendoff.

-in retrospect its interesting to me that they went the whole show without giving the main cast any romance based plotlines. Basically. My perspective is limited of course cause its not like i spend a lot of time watching cartoons meant for a younger audience. But honestly compared to what i remember from being a kid, its come a long way.

-one thing that i liked about the show is that it seems a decent amount of thought and research went into any character that had some kind of specific job or hobby. Aside from like, the farming lmao. I feel like often in shows meant for children that the writing will take lazy shortcuts in this regard. Like an example ive seen a dozen times is that sometimes characters are like "inventors" because its so nonspecific and fills a need for a smart or empowering role.

-one of the few times ive been excited to see some of the cast married with babies in an epilogue lmao

-PINKIE GOT CHAOS MAGIC BRIEFLY entirely unexpected and my favorite part of the final confrontation lmao

-its also cute that pinkie is the only one who had a kid in the epilogue. I dont know why, but its like out of the 6 of them shes the one that makes the most sense as a parent?

-despite how much the show is about how friendship conquers all, i liked that it ended on a note that made it feel like the universe carries on like normal after the last episode.

-ALMOST FORGOT the worst thing they did in the finale was implying that luna and celestia are moving to a retirement home???? WHY

oh yeah the dream i had was weird, smth like my dad remarried 2 people & then i sort of reconciled with someone i have no intention of getting along with at the mall & then there was a choose your own adventure novel

i think my dad remarried or something to another married couple. the mom was nice. the 2nd dad was weird. we had to move into their house, which was kind of like the guest room in my mom’ shouse except with like brown wood panelling & it had beams. like it was good enough. tthhe 2nd dad was an inventor of some kind? i remember weird gadgets & stuff. they also had a bunch of kids who were all fairly young, max 14. maybe 3 or 4 of them. i was thinking that i should try to make an effort if these people were supposed to be my parents too rather than treating them like strangers in my house. it’s not even my house. 

scene cut. i’m at the mall. the mall also somehow feels old-fashioned & a bit different. kinda cozier tbh rather than like all the white lights & white tiles. there was brown wood panelling again. i think christmas decorations were up. i was walking with my friends from college. my worst roommate was there but we were getting along ..? he made fun of my second worst roommate & i laughed bvc i thought it was genuinely funny! & then i heard my 2nd worst roommate behind me say “that’s not funny.” she was wearing some kind of red & green christmas themed sweater, so i guess it was christmas. & i shrugged & said “i don’t really give a shit whwat you think”. she kind of followed behind me looking mad for a while & then pulled me aside in a store & i was like 🙄what & then she like pulled a jacket over my eyes or smth started fighting me. i couldn’t see but she was like trying to hold my arms down so like i ended up biting the middle of her forehead & then going for like the eyebrow muscle. i thought i cut her but i eventualyl got the jacket like off me & onto pinning her arms instead & we both just sat down. her face wasn’t bleedng, which was kind of a relief since i didn’t want her skin in my teeth. 

then i apologized??? why the hell did i apologize to her. i did literally nothing wrong. she’s the one who was like “oh you broke up with your boyfriend? i’m gonna fuck him & lie about my whereabouts for 2 weeks.” idk why i apologized. maybe for biting her. anyway then she started crying & became nicer & was saying some stuff that was leading me to believe that she got dumped by my ex , which even though  my stupid ass dream self apologized to her for no reason i still got excited about the concept of them breaking up because they’re both horrible people & i want them to get in a car crash & then the car explodes & then they neither of htem die but just get inflicted with crippling burns & injuries & then the car explodes again & then they’re at fault so insurance takes them fore verything they have, & their parents are so embarasse dthey don’t provide any financial support (this is my way of getting them out of this fantasy since they’re all fairly decent people. i don’t know how they raised kids so stupid). 

anyway after that my ex showed up out of a fucking black hole that was tearing the mall apart but he was like in a fuckin mech suit or some shit. super powers. it wasn’t like a huge mech eh just had like his litle head on some huge body wearing some kind of superhero outfit and cape in yellow and light gray. ugly. and he was mad. he grabbed my 2nd wworst roommate & i was like “well i don’t care about that bye” & ran home to my dad & my step parents & then my ex teleported into the house. at this point it was like a paused cutscene almost - everything was still moving & the effects were looping but there were like 5 or 6 different options i could do. one of them had the stepmom do some kind of thunder cross split attack that blew him up. good end ^_^ but it wasnt’ the true ending so it looped back to the cutscene.

there was one option that like blew the house away down some kind of hyperspace tunnle but the stepdad was there with his inventions. idk

sorry im basically so so silly and so so mad at comics rn so :)

The horrors of loving a VERY minor character and just. experience every single horror as they get completely butchered. I was curious about Duela Dent (aka Harlequin) because 1. She seems SO silly and 2. There was a decent amount of overlap issue wise with Harley (after the new 52) so i figured I'd just read the older stuff and learn about them both. Unfortunately the horrors of dc being like erm. ok silly character that is mentally ill -> time to make her mental illness THE JOKE. like in the old comics, duela is just incredibly silly. she calls Dick "legs" like shes just goofy. she fights with bubblegum and rollerskates and is just such a fun character. i havent even HIT the new 52 stuff with her yet (and that was when I expected it to get BAD bc they seemed to go kinda gritty with her character around then. which personally doesnt fit her at all but whatever) but literally as SOON as the old teen titans comics were done, they just put her through such um... horrible character decisions. so the defining trait that they took from her character in teen titans is that she claims her dad is a big important supervillain but isnt consistent about it (ie its changed from two face to joker and many many more in between). and thats just... what they ran with for her character. she shows up multiple times with appearances of haha shes sooo delusional for claiming to have ran with the teen titans who would believe her (and also um put her in a mental institute which is my first sign things are BAD). and that was unpleasant bc like... they just completely erase that Dick genuinely cares about her and they're really good friends (shes really the only one who appreciates his HORRIBLE puns) and just are like yep shes completely cast off after the teen titans ended at issue 53. and THEN. they reintroduce her as oh shes a 19 year old (which um. ignoring all the inconsistencies of them saying oh shes super old and barely recognizable to her being a TEEN in teen titans and Dick is a full adult by now but whatever </3) and shes soooo petty that they didnt invite her (which she wasnt rly petty in the original but again all that matters is she claims her dad is different villains bc thats OBVIOUSLY her only characteristic) and shes just like. personality wise like how some of the (worst) comics write harley quinn like... they definitely have connections w how their names are similar and the connection to the joker but its so frustrating to see how bad theyre butchering duelas character ALREADY.

yes and I hated it, even though it was in the same interconnected countries I dont really recommend it if you are still in high school, I only recommend to move countries if it for your benefit as an adult cause if you moving high schools, I find it often hinder your chances of success later on. you got to first fit in and find decent friends then adjust to different knowledge or even entirely different system alone can be enough to mess with your mind. plus you dont know what chances you are leaving behind either.

idk how different canada is to america but i dont think its too different so you would be ok. but in my experiences with the country i went to it was kind of hell, my only other english friend got beat up he mother was a cop and she only just abojt stopped it cause the two countries hate each other, what was worst was a classmate of mine came from germany and he was treated better than myself and this other friend was.

so it wasnt an easy time. if i had the chance to go back in time i probs would prefer to stay in the one place and just pick something i could do well at for long time and have hobby on the side. then later on venture out and find something new to see or try. that wouldve been more ideal for me but sadly no ones invented a time machine. idk how much stuff you wanted to know lol so yeah my time moving ended up me going to mental institute, it still didnt do much good afterwards tho. i wish you success in all that you do in life <333

Yep I was also thinking I should do a summer exchange instead. Maybe go to Seoul for a few weeks (however the only Asian country my mum would probably let me to go is Japan because I have a relative there 😅).

Ran my usual group through a 5e adventure while the usual gm needed a break.

I... shoukd have kept it more simple but I really wanted to use the interesting but not the best written alternate ending because I liked the extra challenge... so I had to come up with a different reason this thing would happen besides the-- idk because I said so-- kinda reason that was the as written situation because I was sure they'd be more critical of that than I was.

But I wasn't really able to reign in the group enough to... actually DO it so it came out very lack luster and like I gave up on the theme 1/2 way through. I guess at least my issue is consistent- I'm way too ambitious with the bullshit I wanna do. But I have learned at least some ways I can do this adventure better and was encouraged to try and run it at a convention.

The adventure as written was supposed to be a one shot, but we took like 4 sessions to get through it. But I feel like it was the right call to just let them all chit chat and derail, and let these sessions be way more... loose than usual. Though this wasnt cool with everyone nit thatbthey tried any to reign the group in either. I think 1 person actually just doesn't like how I gm tho and maybe his issue wasn't what I originally thought and another didn't appreciate the lack of structure I think she wanted to engage with the content more but was bored from the lack of structure, but everyone else I'm pretty sure had a decent enough time? And I think the group may have needed over all a few sessions of mostly chit chat but yeah maybe not 4.

But I shouldn't have tried to do the thing I wanted i think, or not the way that I did? Or been clear with the group- I want to have time to do this can arrange that? I dunno. But it wasn't bad by any means I just need learn to set better expectations for myself. I saw how they were kinda wanting things to go and I should have read into that better.

I'm glad im... I dunno having a better time gming. I know they're kind of aware how not very comfortable I am behind the screen because of vague "ive had not awesome and very disheartening experience" ( not really horror story material but like... solid blows to my confidence and self esteem never the less) and did take some blame for those things but... like... knowing half or so of the fault is mine doesn't really make it hurt less? It doesn't make it less difficult to deal with? So I appreciate they're patience with me.

I was also sick for 2 of the four sessions, I didn't tell them, I should have either told them and/or maybe not run? But I didn't wanna. I have some personal things going on and kinda needed the distraction.

It was good over all but I'm very much still my own worst enemy.
