coming from a hard week so i gotta write this to destress. this might also be my last post until i have finished writing the fic i am putting out. i also might close my requests and asks for now so i can reply to everything first (i have a backlog, sorry). once im not too busy, i will write a part 2 and an nsfw version of this lol.

he's a light sleeper. sometimes, he couldn't get back to sleep after waking up in the middle of the night. whenever he's in the base his routine is to train or workout and tire himself out so he can sleep. when he's with you, it's a bit easier - he'll just cuddle with you and hog all your warmth.

hoshina is definitely the big spoon. he likes slotting his head on top of your shoulders and falling asleep. when he's super stressed though, he will never say no to being the one embraced.

date nights are scheduled. it's not just because he's busy at work though that is of course one of the reasons - hoshina is also the type who wants things to be perfect, so he wants date nights to be planned. he's super strict with his timing too by the way, so he's even got reminders in his phone and if he knows it is not going to be for a life-or-death situation, he will never cancel anything that you guys have planned prior.

extremely loyal to a fault. this goes without saying, considering all his life he's been shelved as secondary compared to his brother and had been told to give up on his ambition, the person who will love and trust him will have the love and trust returned... tenfold.

definitely a cat person. hoshina will prefer a cat over any pet if and when the two of you decides to get one. he would say it's because cats are affectionate and sweet and cuddly, and at the back of your mind you would realize that he is probably describing himself too.

his love languages are definitely words of affirmation and physical touch which works really well because he believes in the combination of both words and actions in how he express his feelings. pet names are customary once you guys settle in the relationship. he's the type to create a special nickname for you and would get upset if he learns someone other than him calls you that. hoshina is also the type to always have to be touching a part of your body whenever you are together. hanging out? his arm is in your shoulder. out in the groceries? he's holding your hand while pushing the grocery cart. sleeping? he has to be holding you or he is not gonna get a good night's sleep.

has a document in the notes app of his phone that's got details about you. he started this when you were in the early stages of dating so he does not get overwhelmed with information about you. he's listed all your favorites, along with important dates for the two of you, and a bucketlist of the things he wants to do with you.

🧡 What does the daily schedule of this home look like? we both work, so we spend most of our time away from home 😭 but we make sure our days off align so we have opportunities for lengthy dates :))) he's up for the sunrise every day, he goes on his little jog every morning, comes home to make breakfast for us (sometimes he has to fight to get me out of bed LOL)

🧡 Who is more of a homebody, and who’s the breadwinner? we're equal as far as that goes! he encourages me to work less but we know if we want to keep our cute little life afloat then we both have to work, not just him. it feels good to put in equal effort, anyway.. i like providing for him, he likes providing for me

🧡 What do your sleeping arrangements look like? Do you sleep together, or in separate beds?  we sleep together, i'm big spoon he's little spoon :'))) hes also a blanket hog because he gets chilly so easily.. he acts as if he's sleeping beauty or somethin but he tosses and turns so much, he looks a mess every morning LOL.. i'm no better tbh

🧡 Who’s the early riser, and who has trouble getting out of bed? Who falls asleep first? diego looooves his early mornings with a good cup of coffee and a stunning view of the sunrise.. and i hate mornings LMAO, being awake before 10am for me feels like torture.. he's extremely insistent about me getting up with him and engaging in his morning routine, and it definitely causes fueds for a while but eventually he chills tf out and decides it's best to maneuver our disagreement in better ways, like offering breakfast in bed and waking me up with little kisses and soft sweet words :')) and I'M the one who always falls asleep first.. when we're spooning i always have my arm draped across him so we can hold hands, the way he rubs my knuckles and the sound of his soft breathing are a combination that always results in an immediate KO, i'm out cold all night

Do you argue on the road? by default he is, LOL, he's actually a pretty good driver, and even before we met he would frequently take long drives to nowhere in particular. he has to have his seat pushed up a lot because he's also short, and that sight, along with the way his tongue pokes out when he's focusing really hard, is very very very cute :')) also we don't argue on the road, even if he tried to i'd be too busy trying not to get carsick (im Sensitive)

🧡 When you go shopping, who takes the longest? Who’s the worst to shop with? for most shopping, we're about the same! especially clothes shopping since our tastes align very closely and if one of us gets bored then it's basically a guarantee that the other feels the same. grocery shopping with him SUCKS though, he's so picky and pretentious, turning his nose up at things i want to buy LMAO, doesn't matter what he thinks tbh i'm gonna eat what i want anyway (and he's more than okay with that, he's just an Asshole)

Clothes, personal items, spaces like the bathroom etc. as for me, i'm very comfortable with it! we share clothes all the time, especially. he's okay with sharing most of the time but boy does this man treasure his shower/bathroom time LOL.. interrupting him is a Bad Idea but it's also funny how worked up he gets.. however he doesn't like sharing some of his possessions, namely the ones he inherited from his mother. it's like an unspoken rule: don't touch anything he held on to after she passed away (her old cookbook, jewelry, photo albums, that sort of thing). eventually he becomes more okay with sharing but his mom is such a sensitive topic, it always will be for him

Do you like taking pics together? we love taking photos!!! especially silly ones, but also i fuckin hate it because he can't take a bad picture no matter how hard i try (i succeeded Once by taking a photo of him waking up from a nap, he looks a mess and it's my lockscreen despite his pure hatred for the image) sometimes we take ourselves way too seriously and try to take outfit photos but tbh we're just sooo silly goofy that it shows through in any photo we take 💀

i like that the month of october goes along with how many days it's been past 2980. like today is the 5th, it's 2985. cool.

also my birthday is tomorrow (the 6th). it's technically my birthday here now, but it's not even 1am and i'm not asleep yet from the 5th. but birthday. more on that later.

today i got up early and went in for PT. we didn't even do much but my shoulder was YELLING all day. sore. achy. deep, deep ache. pretty miserable. but i took two advil and made the best of it.

after that i went to work with the kiddos. they are both doing really well and i'm super proud of them. like they've both improved so much since i started working with them in january and i'm so, so happy for them. their mom is happy too. she also asked me to teach her husband about the math so he can help when the kids get stuck and i'm not around. 😂 which is fair.

after that i stopped for a soda and ice cream which i had a feeling i'd want. we had game tonight, but we didn't focus on anything, really, but i was even late to doing things because i was talking to lisa and joel and daniel about the con schedule. i told lisa i wasn't going to fill up the craft room, and she gave me a look like "sure okay *rolls eyes*" all in one look and i said "im not fucking doing it. i can't handle it." and my voice broke, of course, because that kind of stress is not something i can fucking handle. no. i'm not doing it again. i didn't fucking eat last year. i'm not doing it again. and of course i cried, and joel came over to hug me and i weakly tried to protest because all i initially wanted to do was punch a wall. he held me and i just slumped to the floor and cried. i'm not gonna do it again. i'm never fucking doing that again. i don't want that stress, i don't want that chaos, and i don't want to be yelled at again by some entitled asshole who doesn't fucking get to tell me what to do.

PT sucked this morning. deep tissue massage made it hurt even though i didn't do almost anything. the therapist gave me a few things to do at home.

work was fine. it was a "lie under the table" kind of day.

other work was satisfying. i drew gabby and myself on a paper and then gave the kids math problems.

in the meantime, my cybersecurity class professor hasn't posted module 3 anything. it's almost the end of week 3 of a six week class and we haven't heard from him since last friday. i sent a few people emails. one kicked back saying "i'll be out of the office." the other said "i'll pass this on and see what i can find out." fuckin professor hagen comin in clutch, as always. the absolute fucking legend.

got ice cream.

whats nine and ten's relationship like there?? like we've seen juice interacting with both but as far as im aware, no nine n ten interactions which has me very curious. ID IMAGINE theres. obviously a bit of protectiveness there but asides from that i have NO CLUE what you have in mind for these guys and i am staring abnormally. Whats Their Deal

FINALLY after starting to write this response out like 3 times and getting distracted or busy I can sit down and do this. Tehe. Beware of long incoming rant as I take this opportunity to explain a bunch of other stuff along the way.

I am so sorry. I talk a lot. Here we go.

Ten and nines relationship throughout the au goes through a lot of changes.

They’ve always been very close, since before the moment and well after. They both learnt how to cope with the nature of humanity and immortality, and how to come to terms with purposelessness. That is until Nine found out about the mission NASA was working on. that mission being sending a crew to deep space to go “where no human, robot, or satellite had been before.” It was a big deal to them, they still longed for a meaning in life like this. That was before everyone figured out there wasn’t much out there, and that life should be centred around what we already have. This was when people were RUSHING to create and to drive humanity further and further, in these early stages progress was all that mattered, and Nine wanted to be a part of it.

So Nine and Ten, and their friend Juice, they went through the training program together, and they formed the crew that would eventually go into space to hopefully discover the unknown.

Nine and Ten were always close, they supported each other, they are siblings after all. They both tried to make sense of the new world presented to them.

Now I’m not sure if my sort of, summery, really explained this well. I looked at my old posts and they really don’t have much. But the plan was always for 9 10 and J to be put into a deep sleep for a couple thousand years to get to deep space, the idea was that it would essentially function as a time skip for them so that they wouldn’t go CRAZY trying to get far away from earth. So for a while they all slept and then 10 and J woke up right on schedule. (Not in the year 17776, because that’s around when Nine wakes up) I sort of intended for this au to at least sort of parallel the story beats of the original.

But when Nine didn’t wake up and what was left of NASA basically told Ten “I unno man.” She tried for such a long time to wake them up, there was something fucked up with the system and nothing was working. Nine was out, alive and well, but not awake.

Ten never really knew if they were going to wake up, and after long enough she tried to focus herself on her mission (finding anything interesting in space) and on Juice, hes a bit of a screwball as we know. She never gave up on them though, no matter how hopeless it seemed there was always something in her mind basically pleading for Nine to wake up. but she unintentionally started almost, grieving, the loss of Nine. Years and years passed when Nine was always right there, but never really There. It was weird for her to live out the life Nine so desperately wanted without them around. And for her to experience everything without them, something she had never had to do in her life up to that point. It was hard.

Then Nine wakes up. First it’s relief, because godamned she missed them, so fucking much. But then it’s concerned.

I guess my twist with this au is that being asleep for that long fucked with Nines memory, they can’t really remember Ten, they can FEEL their love and trust for her, but have a lack of memories to link that back to. They also can’t remember the moment, immorality, anything.

You’re right, Ten is protective!! She’s determined to never let anything hurt them like this again, but she’s also confused too, and a bit hurt. She’s not going to portray that to Nine, because she knows that’s not what they need right now. But she just got them back and they don’t even know who she is.

She cares about them so much, and Nine trusts her so so much and doesn’t even know why.

It’s like in the opening chapter of 17776 when Ten talks to them for the first time and she says “i love you” and Nine says it back without any hesitation. They don’t know who she is, or what any of this is or what it means or even who they are, but they know they love Ten.

Their relationship is strained as first because of this, Nine feels like they can’t be who Ten remembers because Nine doesn’t even remember themself. But things ease out, because even without the memories, they’re still Nine, and she can see it in the way they talk and get passionate about things and their inquisitive nature.

Sleeping with them.

Sleeping. Just sleeping guys. This can be considered as post-timeskip actually.

Warnings: fluff, mentions of food, mentions of sleeping alone, hq boys being soft for you and in love.

Characters: Kurō, Oikawa, Ushiwaka, Sakusa, Atsumu, Suna, Kenma.

Kuroo:

He's not the best partner to sleep with but not the worst either. The problem is that he goes to sleep really late, he spends so much time working that he barely has time at night. So you go to sleep alone most of the time, and when he arrives home he always tries to be as silent as possible not to wake you up (which I think is really cute). However, the moment he enters the bed he'll be holding you tight against his chest because he needs your warmth to fall asleep. In fact it's his body the one which is super warm and in winter it's the best thing to have next to you. The best part about sleeping with him is that he (almost) never wakes up too soon, around 10am more or less, which is the perfect time to enjoy a warm drink for breakfast with the sunlight alredy entering through the window.

Oikawa:

A truly wonderful partner to sleep with. If he has time, it's probably him who cooks dinner every night, and he doesn't like to fo to sleep very late or very early, so I would say that he tries to go to sleep between 11pm and 12pm (00:00? idk bro, you get it). When he lays in bed his body literally occupies the entire bed, legs and arms stretched so you are obligued to lay on top of him. He probably rolls and moves a lot while sleeping so you two end up separated lol. Apart from that, every morning he wakes up at 6am to go for an early morning run and sometimes he also gets freshly baked buns from the bakery, so when he arrives home again (and has a shower) he can wait for you with breakfast ready in you private little balcony.

Ushiwaka:

For real the kind of sleeping partner we all want. He can go to sleep at any possible hour, from 9pm to 3am. You are tired? "Okey honey, let's go. Im not going to leave you alone". You want to watch a film and not sleep barely anything? "Okey, you can even choose the film". And you can clinge onto him as much as you want in your sleep (he sleeps like a rock actually). But the moment the clock reaches 8am, he's awake and there's no way he's going back to sleep again. He might start doing the house chores or some training while you start waking up.

Sakusa:

(This is so funny to think about, but is also so cute omg) He has a very specific night routine that you both must follow before going to sleep, and it includes opening the window of your bedroom for at least 15 minutes to clenease the air of the room, and there's no way you're entering in the same bed as him if you haven't taken a shower first. Once you and the room are refreshed, everything is ready to rest. Sakusa smells like lavender and wood, and now your mind has related that smell to sleeping so it's sleeping for you to rest and relax without him. He knows that, and that's why he tries to go to bed at a decent hour so you can get a good sleep everyday, resting his head in your chest and with your fingers tangled in his black curls. Oh and don't even think of having breakfast in bed, if you want that then go to sleep to the kitchen, not to his bedroom.

Atsumu:

He's the annoying kind of partner if we talk about having a sleeping schedule. Mainly because he doesn't have one, he goes to bed at a different hour everyday. And the fact that he trains a lot doesn't help, cause on some days he wouldn't notice and he would come back home soooo late, and think that he also would have to take a shower, have dinner... So when he lays down its probably like 2am. Other days in which he's tired he goes to sleep incredibly early, 9pm and he's asleep like a baby. Another problem is that he's very loud without even trying, so if you've fallen asleep before him and he wants to get something from your room or finally go to bed, take for granted that you're going to wake up from one way or another. The positive part is that he loves cuddles and he will hug you firmly.

Suna

I don't know how many times I've said this, Suna loves sleeping, loves naps, loves everything related to it, and he also loves you. What can be better than spending every night by the side of his lover? He doesn't go to sleep early, that's for sure, but he doesn't go extremely late, 1am more or less. Mainly because he gets too entertained watching tv shows or with his phone, but if you want to sleep he'll stay in the salon not to bother you. And when he finally starts feeling tired and he goes to sleep, he's the most silent person ever, you won't even notice that someone has stepped into your bed by your side. You might feel his arms around you or his slow breath right by your side, but nothing that can wake you up. However, when the sun rises there's no way to take him outside of the bed. He'll cling into your body as If his life dependes on it, if you let him he would probably wake up at 1pm, just to go get some food, eat and start the day, but if you get serious he might get up sooner.

Kenma.

Sleeping is for the weaks, and he's not weak. He probably thinks that and as long as he has a few energetic drinks near and his computer, he'll stay awake for an entire day or two. You've fallen asleep alone more than once only to wake up finding Kenma in the same position in which you left him the night before. He has tons of work, he's a youtuber-streamer and CEO after all, and he definitely doesn't know how to put some order in his life. You probably need to force him to go to sleep most nights, and he's more than happy to rest for a few hours, but im pretty sure that he would be awake by 7am to keep with his work. And he's very cute when he's asleep, like a kitten, delicate and indefense, and i bet my entire house that he snores quietly, almost like a purr. ok so, we all know that this man is hella busy all the time

mans is the leader, song writer, producer, dancer, rapper (which is why he is good at all positions)

but you were patient with him and whenever he goes days without seeing you due to his busy ass schedule he would make it up to you yk what i mean

but on the more chill days when you saw hongjoong or even the days where he was cooped in his studio (you would visit him there because sometimes you just had to see him)

you guys would just lay on the couch, just enjoying each other’s presence and not feel like you have to make up for lost time

you would be on the bottom on your phone or reading a magazine/book

then hongjoong would be at the top with his head on your stomach as he would be writing down lyrics that came to mind

sometimes you would show him a funny meme that you found or quote something that you just read to him

you also had major respect for yeosang as an idol

the industry was not a place to fuck around 

you couldn’t be happier that your boyfriend was lucky enough to have a group who actually cared and supported each other

speaking of ateez, yeosang isn’t the most touchy person in the world

you didn’t mind of course, you’re the same way

however, when he did give you cuddles and kisses you would be a blushing mess

anyways, one night you were busy writing those argumentative essays that you were sure that your fingers would fall off by the time you were finished

then one day after san came home early from work

it all started when your parents brought you over to your next door neighbor’s house for breakfast on a cold saturday morning

the poor boy was internally freaking out since he has no clue on how to comfort people (especially if they’re a girl)

he was like eight at the time give him a little break

so of course, his first reaction was to make you laugh somehow

and he did this by randomly recreating the “boots and cats, boots and cats” rhythm after seeing siri do it in a youtube video and started to bop his head 

surprised by his sudden movements, you laughed out of pure confusion

as soon as mingi saw the corner of your lips flip upwards he began rapping faster to the point where he was gasping for breath leading him into a coughing fit 

“mingi you can breathe, y’know!” you giggled in between words

after the young boy had caught his breath from hacking away at his lungs, he smiled at you 

until- the teacher had came into the bathroom, scolding mingi for going into the girls’ restroom

even though mingi didn’t care at all that he got in trouble, the only thing he cared about was that you were feeling better

ever since then whenever you were sad or having a bad day mingi would whip out his phone and ask siri to rap while he free-styled over the monotone voice 

he literally still does it

even two years into your relationship-

“siri, can you rap for me?” mingi would ask his phone as he pointed his free arm at you

“mingi, please no.” you laughed in between tears, your mood rising with every beat

wooyoung:

i wholeheartedly believe that wooyoung would kiss you face if you were sad

but the first time this happened, you guys were still fairly new into your relationship

which meant that you weren’t completely ready to be extremely vulnerable around wooyoung 

because in your mind, letting someone see you at your lowest lows of means that you really trust and love someone to let them see you like that

you always wanted to be known as the strong person in the friend group

you were that glue that held everyone together

always listening to others and taking care of others before yourself

which is why wooyoung fell in love with you in the first place

he had never been in a relationship where someone was so caring and thoughtful of others that he was scared that he wouldn’t be enough for you and that you deserved better

of course, he didn’t tell you that right away but he confessed to you about that wayyy later in your relationship which is another story to be told

but one day, life was coming at you so fucking fast

assignments were piling up left and right and deadlines were literally every other day

and then there seemed to be an increase in the amount of angry karens at your work

and your patience was thinning everyday with those people

then to top it all off, all the tests you’ve been studying for, you got mediocre grades, some even worse in other subjects

it just felt like no matter how much work you put into whatever you do, you got half ass results

it was just pushing your mental health further into the ground

you could handle a C every once in awhile but multiple? on back to back tests? no fucking way you just couldn’t

those stupid, dark thoughts would cloud your mind in an instant and on days like this, you would just let them consume you

you were too tired to pick yourself up again and fight back which led to you crying in wooyoung’s arms

usually, you would feel so embarrassed crying over things like this when you know other people have it worse but you couldn’t hold in it anymore 

you ranted about yourself in between your hiccups from crying which would hurt wooyoung’s heart a little bit

because he thought of you as such a strong and kind person- the complete opposite of what you were saying about yourself

so when you were done talking, wooyoung made you look at him and assured you that you were not any of those nasty things that you said about yourself

at this point, you gave up on trying to sleep and got up (carefully to not wake up your sleeping boyfriend) to get a drink

while you were in the kitchen, clutching your chest in an effort to get yourself to calm down, jongho had stirred awake to an empty bed

a flash of panic surged through his body as he momentarily forgot where he was since he wasn’t at his dorm his room never looked this clean 

yawning, the vocalist would wander into the light with his eyes squinted, “y/n?”

“oh my god!” you jumped, water almost spilling out your glass

jongho covered his ears, “what are you doing up?”

“oh,” you felt your cheeks turn red since you felt bad for waking your boyfriend up. “i can’t sleep.”

“why?” he asked, walking towards the couch.

“i don’t know.” you answered as you followed close behind. 

you curled up next to jongho, clutching his shirt “i’m sorry for waking you up.”

jongho smiled tiredly at you before kissing your head, “don’t be. it’s okay. i don’t have work tomorrow anyways.”

you smiled in response before the two of you guys fell into a silence

“do you want me to sing you to sleep?”

“yes, please.” you murmured into his side as jongho placed his other arm around you, successfully trapping you in between his arms

he began singing softly into your ear as he stroked your hair

at last, your mind was at peace with itself

Making a Dandelion Wine flavored cake is a lot harder than you thought it would be.

note: yahoo~ past elli here and this is the first post for the twin bards’ bday event! this was written on june 13 and a scheduled post so it’s either im wide awake or fast asleep for their bday but here ya go!

           Today is the day. You never thought the day is finally here and you’ve been always waiting to celebrate this with a certain bard. Taking one final look at your work, you take a step back to see the whole masterpiece you have baked to give as a gift for Venti.

            June 16. It is Venti the Bard’s birthday. The all three-time winner of the most popular bard of Mondstadt. The bard who always goes to the tavern, Angel’s Share, to get wasted from drinking the city’s most beloved and well-known Dandelion Wine. Heaving a sigh, you looked down at the cake that was designed with vanilla and mint icing and a message that read as “Happy Birthday!”

            This was your very own special and original recipe of a Dandelion Wine cake, or as what you’d rather call it, Wind der Freiheit. To think of making a wine a flavor for a cake recipe was something you haven’t done yet so this was a big challenge. And yet you fear to know what this cake would taste like. 

            These past few days, you’ve been baking day and night to make the perfect Dandelion Wine flavored cake for Venti. The first three batches were fine with you but as you continued to bake and bake again, you eventually got a little bit tipsy when taste-testing your cakes. With your poor alcohol intolerance, it was hard for you to continue baking and that’s when you decided to call over some acquaintances who can do the taste testing for you. 

            Kaeya, the Cavalry Captain of the Knights of Favonius, was your first choice and he was happy and honored you picked him first to judge your product. He only got to taste it once, saying your cake was a bit too sweet, but he has to cut off his time with you to continue working as the Cavalry Captain. You appreciate that he helped you with this but you never asked him again since he’s got more important things to do than taste testing.

            Your next choice was Charles the Bartender. While he works in the tavern, you give him your baked goods as a snack then ask for his opinion.

            “It’s a bit bitter and the taste of the Dandelion Wine is so strong in here, but if you’re going to give this to someone I suggest lighting up the flavor a bit to also capture the sweetness of your cake.”

            And so you followed his suggestion. Maybe just a cup of the wine should suffice and three cups of powdered sugar for the frosting. Giving the slice of cake to him, a drunkard suddenly came barging into the counter and eyeing the dessert.

            “Oh? What’s this? You got a new product with you, Charlie?”

            “Nimrod, go back home before your wife sees you staying here again.”

            “Oh shush. Hey girlie, mind if I take a bite?” 

            Blinking at this familiar stranger, you shook your head and gave the plate and fork to him. As he put the dessert in his mouth, Nimrod spat out the food and bangs his fist on the counter, begging for some water.

            “What in the world did you put here?! It’s too salty!!”

            Salty? You were sure you only put half a teaspoon of salt in it. With furrowed brows, you took a small bite of your own dessert. The volatile and bitter flavor running through your taste buds made you want to rush out and get some water to drink away the bitterness and saltiness ruining your tongue. 

            “B-but how… I’m sure I’ve put half a teaspoon of salt in here… And the powdered sugar should—“

            That’s when you realized you might have mixed up the baking soda and the powdered sugar’s measurements. You felt like your world was dooming when Nimrod stomped out of the tavern and complained about the tavern’s menu, garnering everyone’s attention. They were all murmuring and whispering at the commotion then looking back between you and Charles.

            Feeling guilty that you might be ruining their reputation, which it kind of did, you looked for a different person you can ask for help but not before ordering their entire stock of Dandelion Wine to make sure you don’t run out as you experiment some more.

            And your third choice was,

            “Aether, are you sure you don’t mind judging this for me?” You looked at him with firm eyes, fists resting over your hips as you questioned him. 

            “W-well, I am 500 years old…” His tone just made it hard for you to trust this outlander. It was like a kid pretending to say he’s legal to drink. Sighing for an umpteenth time this day, you stared at his little companion floating next to him to make sure what Aether was saying was true. She only shrugged her shoulders and glanced at your cake.

            “I mean I know I look young but I’m a lot older than I look.” Seeing your hesitancy in handing him over the cake, he sighed in defeat and rubbed the back of his head. “If you still won’t allow me then I know a perfect person who’ll judge it.”

            “No, it’s fine. Time is running out and I need someone to taste this for me if I still need room for improvement.” Passing over to him the fork, Paimon’s eyes sparkled and looked at you with pleading eyes.

            “Ooh! Can Paimon take a bite as well?!” 

            You glanced over to Aether and tilt your head. “Can she?” And just like what Paimon did, he shrugged his shoulders before letting the soft dessert enter through his mouth. The flavors were familiar and comforting as if the breeze of the wind just rushed past through him after taking a bite. He could eat the entire cake as if they were the most divine food ever conjured. 

            The sweetness and refreshing taste of the wine mixed with the cake’s sugary flavor that coursed through his tongue was a match made in heaven. Aether hummed in delight and looked at you with bright eyes. 

            “Woah, this is perfect! The flavors had a brightness as if in each bite were tiny brilliant hot air balloons, ready to escape into a blue sky. The aroma of cereal is like the wind in the sails. If it were like that then the essences were the full body of the boat!”

            Your smile went big and wide, excited to discover you’ve finally succeeded in creating the perfect dessert. “R-really?! You’re not just sugarcoating your words, right?!” 

            “Of course not! This really tastes good and if I were honest with you, I actually want to eat more of it.” A sheepish laugh came from him and you giggled at his honesty, flattered and delighted to know he enjoyed what you had baked.

            “I think this settles it! I should go to Starsnatch Cliff now—“

            A loud belching resonated around the kitchen causing you and Aether to stop chatting. Following where the source of sound is leading, you blinked several times and let out a petty sound of huh when you see an empty plate in front of the table.

            “Oh wow, that was… that was really delicious! Paimon wants more of this cake! Hey Aether, maybe we should try asking [Name] for the recipe so we can also try this out on our travels!” 

            Several crumbs of mint-colored pastry were sticking out on the corner of her lips. She licked them off and laid on top of the table, her stomach heavy and full from eating the sweet treat. Another loud and long burping slipped from her mouth as she rolled her body to the side and spread out her short arms and legs, all sprawled out and without a care if the two humans were looking at her with wide eyes.

            You felt your world was shattering into pieces as if all your hopes and dreams were gone right before your eyes. All the effort of baking that perfect cake has disappeared in just a second. Aether glared at his companion and scolded her. “Paimon, that was supposed to be Venti’s! We’re only here to taste test a small portion of her cake, not eat the entire cake!”

            “What…? Paimon thought [Name]’s going to bake another one?”

            “If it tastes different! That was already the ideal cake she was going to give to Venti!” Aether pinched the bridge of his nose then looked at you apologetically. 

            “[Name], I’m really sorry about this emergency food here. W-we can still help you in making another one!”

            Pulling yourself together, you nodded and ran to the cabinet to take out the necessary ingredients. 

            “Oh no…”

            The two companions looked at each other then back to your figure who was motionless and still in front of the cupboard. “Um, Paimon doesn’t like that tone…”

            Catching the panic look on your visage, he prepared for the worst when you sniffled and took out a box. 

            “I’m out of cake flour.”

            “We can still buy more at Blanche’s shop!” Aether reassured and just as you were about to list down the other ingredients you needed, a heavy sound of a door banging open made you jolt in surprise.

            “[Name]!” The yell was a cry, a voice you recognize very well and it just further made you distressed that he came at the wrong time. Venti was standing there with a big smile on his face and a basket in his hand. Then the bright grin faltered when he saw Aether and Paimon were also with you.

            “Oh?”

            “Uh…” 

            A small sob slipped from your lips and you tried so hard to hold back the tears to fall out from your eyes. “Venti…” You wept and mopped the small tears with the back of your hand. The bard was quick to rush to where you were standing and pulled you in a hug. He’d never seen you so hurt and upset, and though he doesn’t know the reason as to why the first thing that came to his mind was the pixie and the traveler.

            A look of great bitterness swept across his face as small enmity boiled inside him. His hold on you was protective and firm, holding you close against his body but just before he could question the two what they did to you, you grasped on his wrist to catch his attention— which was a success.

            “Sorry, I just panicked when I saw you enter.” 

            Venti’s eyes softened and cupped your cheek. His thumb running across your face to dry out your wet stained face. “What’s wrong? Were you preparing for another surprise for me?” 

            The forlorn gaze and nod of your head hurt his heart. Despite being told to meet at Starsnatch Cliff, he decided to go there with you instead of waiting alone. A melancholic presence painted across his face but it shifted to a brighter one to lighten up the mood.

            “Hey, it’s alright. I still don’t know what surprise you have in store for me.” He softly pecked your temple and laced your fingers together and though he already attempted to make you smile, the gloomy aura you have bothered him.

            “That’s the problem… The cake is... it’s gone.” You fiddled your fingers and shied away when Venti remained silent. From the corner of his eyes, he saw Paimon and Aether sneaking out of the room to give you and Venti some alone-time together. Perhaps it’s the best yet he still needs to inquire with them if something happened when he was away.

            “Cheer up, love. We can bake together to make another one. But I must say, I also have a small problem with me, ehe…” He scratched his cheek out of nervousness and that strained chuckle made you look at him in concern. 

            Clearing his throat, he raised the basket for you to take a peek inside. “I was planning to take a bottle of wine with me for our picnic date but when I went to the tavern they said they ran out of Dandelion Wine. The bartender even told me someone took the entire stock! Now, who in the world would be so selfish to take all the goods with them?!” 

            The small huff from him caused you to giggle, surprising him. Seems like Venti still doesn’t know who was the culprit for taking his favorite drink. You encircled your arms around his waist and glimpsed at him under your long lashes. Your lover was completely magnetized by your eyes. His hand rested on your back to support you and have you lean against him.

            “Well about that, would you believe me if I said I was the one who bought it?” His eyes widened and he leaned forward to take a whiff of your scent. The familiar sweet and grain-like aroma wafted through his nose and he stared at you with a gaped mouth.

            “I’ve been making a Dandelion Wine flavored cake for your birthday. Of course, there would be several failures here and there and experimenting which combination will fit for the flavors that’s why I took all of it.” Your explanation had him laughing at your story and it’s not that because it’s silly. It just really sounds like you, always doing your best to achieve your goal and to create the perfect masterpiece.

            “You should also buy the entire industry,” Venti joked and pulled you to the counter. He put down the basket on the floor and stood behind you, hugging your waist and resting his chin on your shoulder.

            “No thanks. You’ll drink everything there and Mondstadt’s economics will be in grave danger.” With a grin he pressed a quick kiss to your lips, pulling away before you had time to react. “Aww, but I would never.” You raised your eyebrows at him in disbelief and slight amusement.

            “Okay, maybe a little.” His lips met yours again, more passionate this time. “But even if I do drink them, I’d rather drink something else.” Another kiss. Venti turned you around to face him, chuckling at your surprised appearance. “And if I snuck in to take a bottle or two, I wonder what will you do if you catch me.”

            He had you pressed against the counter, cornering you between him and the worktable. His lips ghosted over yours as he pressed his knee between your legs, voice lowing to a whisper, “Does this feel familiar?”

            “You know I usually wouldn’t be opposed to this,” you started, gasping as his lips found their way to your neck, his leg pressing harder at the area between yours. “But don’t we still have something to do? You said you'd bake with me…”

            His teeth gently bit down on the exposed skin of your collarbone, causing your breathing to hitch. There was no doubt it was going to leave a mark, but that was exactly what he wanted. i got you my pal dont worry!!

law school, im gonna be honest and say i know like nothing about law or law school so pls ignore any inconsistencies or inaccuracies

lwj goes to law school and he is definitely the top student in his class. they’ve been there for like a month and everyone already knows he’s gonna be the best

his one and only competition is this dude called wei wuxian but lwj isn’t particularly worried about him

so far they’re still in the stage of the course where they do the fun things to sucker people into doing the class for the semester so there’s been some practise debates and arguments and stuff in their tutorial classes

wei wuxian has that Charisma and like yeah all of his arguments are perfect but also he has an amazing smile and people are like yes i can trust him 

(he’s definitely the sort to be like hm, the easy way to argue this case would be to quote some laws and use precedence to justify this but that’s boring)

lwj is also good at that sort of stuff because his arguments are perfect and everything is so perfectly researched that there should be no ground at all for someone to lodge a counterargument

(wei wuxian manages somehow and it makes lwj so mad)

but that’s whatever lwj thinks,, a lot of people join law thinking it’s gonna be like the tv shows and books and then get completely blindsided when it comes to the rote learning part or like the actual laws 

and for all of wwx’s confidence, lwj hasn’t actually seen wwx so much as touch the textbook/s and he always studies in the law library so he knows that wwx has probably never even been there bc he hasn’t seen him even once (why’s he looking? bc he needs to see which books wwx uses to study,, bc there has to be something going on there,, obviously)

then they do their first like proper written assignment and lwj and wwx tie for the highest scores and now lwj has a Rival and he refuses to lose to someone who thinks that putting a ‘-us’ sound at the end of a word makes it latin (did wwx say habeas corpus and then point at a soft drink and go  sprite-us can-us,,, maybe,,,,)

anyway! lwj and wwx are kinda rivals for the top spot and it’s one of those situations where one test lwj wins by a point but then the next test wwx gets full marks and they just keep exchanging the top spot in class

and this whole time wwx is like The Worst to have in class. he’s always interrupting to ask questions or just straight up not listening and spends the class doodling pictures of rabbits (they’re cute but wwx is terrible and he’s not allowed to make cute drawings)

so after a few months the most horrible thing happens.... they get put together in a project and lwj is like ugh. internally of course but his face is also saying ugh

the first time wwx and lwj get together to work on the project, lwj is prepared with a proper list of tasks to do all nicely split up between the two of them and a schedule for when they should get certain parts done by. 

needless to say, lwj does not expect wwx to be ready, but wwx is definitely on top of things

he rocks up and is like yeah let’s do this, this and this and have them done by this time - basically proposing to do everything that lwj has already written down

and lwj is pleasantly surprised and is like hm maybe i misjudged wwx and decides to like re-evaluate his opinion on him

in doing so he realises that when he’d never seen wwx studying, it wasn’t an exaggeration at all. he’s never seen wwx so much as touch a textbook or spend more than a minute on a laptop doing something that wasn’t minesweeper or solitaire

but wwx is also making all of their deadlines and even adds extra information and resources to their document that could be useful elsewhere and sometimes he shows up to their study sessions and he looks absolutely exhausted

eventually lwj manages to get the truth out and wwx is just like yeah it’s easier to get worse grades than a genius but if you both study and you still get lower grades, it’s not easy,, for jc or for me

so wwx usually studies at night when his brother is asleep and lwj is like that’s bad, you can’t keep that up and just when wwx is about to go off at him lwj is like you can come study at my place

and thus begins the wonderful time where everything is alright and lwj falls in love with wwx

they work really well together and wwx is strangely considerate and nice? when he finds out lwj likes rabbits, he goes out and buys bunny post-it notes for lwj and starts to always bring him a doodle of bunnies every time he comes over. he always gets his work done on time, early even, and his work is always so brilliant and every time wwx smiles at him, lwj feels warm inside etc etc

for a long while lwj is like yes (: this is friendship (: bc he’s never had a crush before but then on the day they submit their project wwx is like hey,, the two of us make a great team,, we should always work together,, now and next year and even when we graduate,, i want to help the innocent people who need our help and i think i’d like it a lot if you joined me and lwj has his oh moment

they get a perfect score on the project of course and even after it finishes, wwx keeps coming over to lwj’s place to study or just hang out and lwj is just falling more and more for wwx each day

they’re best friends now and everyone gets used to seeing them work together on projects and then turn around to try and decimate each other when they’re working one on one and lwj thinks that he might just be the happiest he’s ever been

but then one day wwx doesn’t show up to class. it shouldn’t be strange but wwx has never missed class even once and he ends up hearing from lxc who heard from jgy that wwx was caught sabotaging some other student’s work (the other student was jzxun, who had a fondness for playing devil’s advocate and other than wwx once telling him that his argument was shit, wwx never spoke to him or seemed to know who he was but lwj is a bit too angry to remember that)

he manages to find wwx outside of his dorms as he’s moving out and he’s just like why did you do that? and wwx is like oh y’know,, bc he’s not really sure what’s happening himself,, one second he was at the top of his class and the next he was being brought before a board and being told that he was being expelled but he’s not going to tell lwj that bc lwj would definitely try and stand up for him and then they’d both get expelled

but lwj is furious and just spits out well if our dreams meant so little to you then maybe it’s a good thing you failed now,, bc his mother was a lawyer who took all these little jobs that helped people who actually needed the help and lwj was looking forward to doing that with wwx and he doesn’t even seem to care that now they can’t do that 

wwx flinches and then smiles at him and just cheerily says, that’s me and leaves. he doesn’t look back and lwj doesn’t chase after him.

lwj doesn’t see him again for years (you can do 13 or 5 or however long you feel like)

lwj is a fully licensed lawyer and he’s working for the family company and he spends half of his time working on cases and uses the rest of his time to do like outreach programs where he goes and visits schools and runs sessions on what it’s like to be a lawyer, how to apply, and to provide assistance to any students who decide to study law at uni

and then at one of these programs he meets this kid, wen yuan, who is ridiculously bright and enthusiastic and has a smile that seems oddly familiar

at the end of the second session he comes up to lwj and is like mr. lan, is your name lan wangji? and lwj just says yes, expecting the kid to be a fan of one of his cases or something but then wen yuan is like oh wow! i thought i recognised you from my dad’s photo!

and lwj isn’t expecting much but he asks what the photo looks like and wen yuan pulls out this photo from his pocket and lwj immediately recognises it,, it’s the only photo he has of him and wwx

your father is wei ying? lwj asks him and wen yuan is like yes, hesitates, and then asks, would you like to see him?

and that’s how lwj finds himself following wen yuan to some dinky little office that has a plaque outside that reads wen and wei

(wen ning is the nicest and sweetest person ever and lots of people underestimate him but then he’s an absolute monster on court. he gets up and completely decimates the opponent and then at the end is like (: it was so nice to meet you!! i am baby!! and all that,, you know our boy)

anyway they walk in and wwx turns to greet wen yuan but then he sees lwj and is like woah! you! and he’s not sure whether to hide or go and hug lwj so he just gives him a fist bump,, like a bro,, and immediately wants to shrivel up and die

anyway they get the reunion stuff out of the way, swelling music, tender wrist holding, lots of staring, lwj silently declaring his wholehearted love for wwx and refusing to believe rumours about him again even though he doesn’t actually know what happened, you know how it goes

from wwx’s side of things,, after he got kicked out he went to some small uni. good in its own right but not known for their law program and ended up specialising in family law

the first case he ever won was for the wens to have the right to keep custody of a-yuan and the first case wen ning ever won was to let wwx adopt a-yuan bc i’m soft like that

so wwx has just been kinda vibing,, being a single dad, living with the wens and helping to make that difference he always promised he would

now this isn’t gonna be some au where lwj goes oh my! i must give up my high salary job and work with wwx! bc lwj has been doing good stuff at his current job and for all of his family’s stuffiness, they run a fair and just company 

but! he does end up helping wwx when wwx gets a letter with a bunch of information about the jins and how they’re actually super corrupt and evil (big surprise,,) and how wwx was maybe definitely framed bc he was doing some casual work on the side and stumbled across some bad shit on the jins back in uni

lwj ends up being the one to take the case officially but wwx is definitely the guy leading it and so lwj ends up spending most of his time at the wen-wei office

lwj definitely bonds with wen yuan, who also wants to go into law, and writes him recommendation letters and helps him edit his applications and stuff

(and one day wen yuan is like leaving you was the hardest thing dad ever did and i dont think you appreciated how much he cared about you. he really did think that he annoyed you ‘til the end and lwj is like no! he didn’t! and wen yuan is like yeah i know but you gotta tell him and lwj really does mean to but the time is never right or something like that but also wen yuan is all but calling lwj dad at this point)

anyway they end up going to court, side by side, working as a team just as they promised to do and just as they finish their final day on the case, ended with the jury ruling jgy guilty and wwx’s reputation all but saved, wwx turns around and flings himself at lwj

is he crying? is he laughing? a bit of both tbh but wwx ends up confessing right then and there, still on record and everything (is that how that works??? idk! let’s say it does)

and what can lwj do but make out with him?

did a news crew come in to film the results of this massive court case just to end up with five minutes of wangxian kissing?? maybe! but when it played on tv it meant wwx and lwj didnt have to actually tell anyone they got together

(and does lwj eventually pop the question using wwx’s bad latinification? yes and wwx is too busy laughing to accept at first but he does and they end up being the worst possible tutors for wen yuan as he goes through law school bc they keep being all gross and lovey-dovey and acting like law school is the most romantic place in the world)

but it did take them a while to find out what all those words ni-ki is saying mean

so this child would probably teach them these words for fun

and would tell them that it means like 'i love you' and 'have a great day' or smth

but he would always laugh whenever they said any of them

and it was somewhat suspicious

which resulted in jungwon searching it up

and nearly then he nearly beat you with a pan later

u two had just freshly started an official, public relationship

ofc changbin was freaking out while he was chilling in the bathtub behind the curtain so u could pee on the test already

u two were looking at the line coming in, praying that there would be only o n e 😳

slowly the other line comes in, dark blue n clear alongside the other one

“holy fuck—“

“what do we do?” you asked, your voice wavering while setting the test back down

his hands cupped your face, giving u a soft kiss n hugging you

“we got this, we’re having a baby, baby!” he started to joke and yall burst out laughing while crying in the bathroom

the first few months were amazing

ur lil bump sprouted out n u two were so happy about it

changbin is just so attentive and excited about this pregnancy and his first born

u really couldn’t have been better with ur lil family that was starting to become realer with each day

u two r such bullies yall r like

“what happened? ur a softie now binnie!!”

n he’d say shit like, “well at least i don’t pee every hour on the clock!!”

he makes u cry one time n u use that against him everytime u want something bc he feels guilty >:)

cute lil things like asking the baby what they want to eat or talking to it before the bed

(changbin reads the baby goodnight moon one time and ur just so in love like wow 🥺)

he secretly talks to the baby when you sleep every night because hes waiting for when ur little bean will reply back with a kick or a hand

nursery is already done at five months

they notice how smiley n giggly he is when he talks about u two and looking at the finished crib hes just so proud

yall r so happy and content with ur baby that was an accident, but u guys are so happy this happened

but something changes within u

changbin notices your lack of interest in the pregnancy during ur sixth month

ur sleeping pattern was off n u would sleep for hours during the day and night

u were very irritable, not wanting changbin to cuddle with u or kiss u like he did everytime he came back from practice :(

u were always unhappy and always so moody, he just wanted u to be happy 🥺

he is so confused and worried ab u, some days ur not eating or some days u don’t even wake up in the mornings like u used to

sometimes— just sometimes he’d come back home to find u in the same spot, asleep

he’s so fucking scared when ur around seven months that he can’t hold it in anymore

“are—are you okay?” he questions u from the doorway, making u stop to look at him in the mirror

ur eyes were cold, setting down the towel u were drying ur hair with and leaving him by himself while heading into ur bedroom

“don’t you dare fucking walk away from me.”

he was really nice during the pregnancy everyday, super bubbly and kind so u were shocked to hear his upset tone

“i can and i will, i’ll just go sleep in another fuckin room.” u mumbled, changbin grabbing ur hands and turning u around to face him

u struggle for a bit while ur arguing with him and telling him to let go so u could go to sleep

“stop! i am your boyfriend, i am the only one who is going to care for you like this. i am the only one who is dying, seeing you like this. do you understand? we’ve been through seven months of this together, it was fine for awhile and now you’re fucking turning me away?”

hes shouting at this point, hes just so pissed after three months of not having answers and your attitudes and arguments, he cannot handle it

u start crying

hes quick to hold you, pulling u down to the bed so u don’t have to stand on ur tired feet anymore

“i don’t know what’s wrong with me.” 🥺🥺🥺

he insists u two will find out n u both will get thru this rough patch together

perinatal depression, they diagnosed u

changbin is so upset when he hears the doctors tell u

everything is making sense to him and he’s just so heartbroken he didn’t put two and two together earlier

he takes time off for the time being to make sure ur taking care of urself

hes watching u like a hawk but trying not to make it evident

the first time u ask him for a kiss, he gives u dozens

he hadn't been asked for kisses in so long he was so relieved 🥺

he’s constantly telling u how beautiful u r and talking to ur bump about how they have the best genes and their uncles

this man is a father already it seems

he is ur #1 face mask partner cause he buys the cute ones only because u deserve the cute ones that r ur favorite ◝(ᵔᵕᵔ)◜

cooking together is something that happens, not often but every once in awhile he will let u do small things

cut up some lettuce? sure! pour in the soup broth? of course u can! taste test his food? always.

he wants to make sure ur comfortable with him touching u or kissing u or what hes saying

“i love you.” he’s mumbling, quickly placing a kiss against the fabric of one of his own shirts that was worn by u and fit u like a dress still

he then goes up to ur cheek n presses a kiss to it, ur hand cupping his jaw and letting him kiss ur lips >.<

also u guys let out a quiet talk of pregnancy to the public, letting jyp release a notice on changbin’s absence from live-streams and posts with the boys

u two received a lot of positive feedback which changbin let u read the positive ones n loved when u smiled at each one

u were overdue by a week which was the worst, ur back hurt and u had migraines

u also were put on bed-rest for the next week before u could be inducted

u guys waited out the week and u got scheduled for an induction

the labor was really slow which sucked because u just wanted to hold ur baby already :(

rly intimate moments like chan just holding u n rocking u like a baby

u guys are given this position to move the baby down, your knees on the ground so u could kneel against the bed and changbin would hold ur hips n rock them

he just feels so bad he can’t do anything to help u with the pain 🥺

yall kinda vibing with the hospital food (idk bout yall but some food from hospitals smack chile)

“i just want to go home.” :(

u bet ur ass he scoots into ur hospital bed, holding ur hands n u just cry into his shoulder

he feels like his heart is being torn to pieces when he listens to u cry out of pain

his free hands holds your jaw, making u look up at him

“we’re almost done baby, okay? i know it hurts, if i could i would take your pain in a heartbeat. you are incredibly strong and i’m so proud of you. you just need to hang in here for a few more hours, yeah? you think you can do that?”

u give him the weakest smile ever but its better than nothing

u reach 10cm!!!

now the part that wasn’t fun was the pushing :/

u were hurting, u were tired, and u had been promised almost seven times that all u need was one more push but no matter what, it seemed like the baby wasnt budging

“the cord is wrapped around the neck, we need you to stop pushing. okay?”

ur too tired and stopping the pushing sounded good so u did as they said but when they told u they needed to actually reach in and unwrap it ur blood ran cold

u both were worried about how much u could take

u screamed, god it hurt and it felt like hours of them twisting but it was a mere minute

the labor progressed n there it was

“a girl!”

u two are like faucets or waterfalls

shes literally the perfect mixture of u both 🥺

he washed her hair n helped wrap her up in a blanket, giving her over to u for the first time

u both were just in love with her, she was absolutely perfect

he’s obsessed with her, taking in that baby scent, the scent of the light baby shampoo and the bit of baby powder that lingered throughout her onesie

her hair wooooww its so soft n fluffy

her little baby pout and her puffy cheeks

i can see him calling her bunny for awhile as a childhood nickname

he’ll just be like

“oh that’s my bunny!!”

weird look from u but ur heart melts while he bounces her in his arms n gives her some kissies and running his fingers thru her hair

he’s also rly soft, i don’t see him singing but i see him definitely whispering to her about how she’s gonna grow up and have the best life because thats his little girl

“ur gonna have eight uncles, they are crazy but it’s okay. u definitely lucked out on fathers though, i’m pretty good at lullaby's. u did get great genes too, u have a handsome daddy and a gorgeous mommy. we worked really hard on making u, please don’t hurt ur cute little face. u also have a storm coming, there’s a thing called stays, they are gonna adore you, i promise.”

Startin the day right by writing down my notes for Episode 13 of Minecraft Diaries babeyyyyyy

Aphmau wakes up, maybe she wakes up earlier than usual bc her sleep schedule is kinda fucked and immediately goes to check on Brendan. Hes still asleep but looks a lil better than yesterday

Since Im cutting the hamster subplot, Im making it so that Kiki also comes in to check on Brendan and then they have a scene talking together with them comforting eachother. Basically, what I wanna do for now is, I want to keep the mood low and kinda melancholic to signal a tonal shift like "oh no, someone got shot, the plots really beggining to start now" until we get to that little wedding arc, where everyones in a wonderful mood before Zane shows up, so we can have that contrast, yknow what I mean? Bc I feel like the other thing that makes this kinda tiring to watch is that the tone of every episode is pretty exactly the same and pretty upbeat (save for those cutscenes) which again, makes sense as a minecraft RP but still

At some point during their convo Kiki asks to be left alone so Aphmau goes out to see how everyone else is doin and runs into Dale. The beginning of their exchange is the same, although I'd like to tweak that lost paragraph a bit; after he tells her "but I have a son to think about now" he also says "especially with those bandits around", instead of "he wants to be a guard just like me" he says smth like "I cant wait till he gets a bit older and can teach him all about being a guard!"

I cut the part where Aphmau plays matchmaker for him and Molly, so I'll just include Aphmau being like "Oh sorry, I didnt know you had child, congrats!" in response to that, maybe asking who his lucky woman is or smth idk. I'll also probably insert some more (small) scenes w/ Molly into the previous few episodes/chapters to establish her being There and Pregnant, maybe as part of those montage scenes of Aphmau chillin and helping out in the village

After that, she goes to the plaza where Logan n Donna (and some other extras probably) are. I'll cut Donnas dialogue and replace it w/ her just whistfully staring at Logan while hes shooting some arrows. I'll also probably cut Logans dialogue and maybe replace it with him also looking at her/making sure she sees him while doing his cool archery stuff

I think I'll add a montage scene-thingy at this point, but I'll make sure to keep it a bit low energy yknow, maybe Aph doesnt physically help that much and gives more encouraging words instead bc shes exhausted idk

Okay, I'll save her Meowki dying for an even lower point later on, right now we already have Brendan being injured n stuff, the mood doesnt need to dip any more at this point

Aphmau then decides to take a break and sit at the beach, maybe fish a little idk, and sortof think about all this stuff w/ the Lord of Brightport being gone and her basically being the Lord of her own village now

I mentioned in one of my earlier notes posts that I want her backstory to be that shes Irenes child who was sent away for her own safety and whose memory was lost somehow, but I honestly dont want to mention it too much, especially at this point and in the first season. Like, I dont really see the point of Aph ruminating on her past before she randomly woke up in the woods w/ no memories bc I feel like she has amleady found community and friends and stuff like that in this village and ahe doesnt care for much aside from making the people that live there happy, so it wouldnt matter at this point. That being said, I do think this would be a good moment for her to reflect a little on the fact that she doesnt know her past at all

That little scene where Zenix looks to be aiming at Garroth(?!?!) is fine, that can stay exactly the way it is. Maybe we can have a sort of transition here, where Aph is at the beach, looking up at the sunset and then we get to Zenix a bit later, looking up at the night sky before taking lut his bow

i just saw ur "helia is a shit roommate" post and im CACKLING bc flora is ALSO, canonically, a shit roommate. im curious as to how you think they would handle living together. are they both terrible in the same ways (they both leave their stuff everywhere but neither really minds the other, helia is a night owl but flora learned how to sleep like a rock after rooming with bloom for a few years, etc) OR are they both awful in ways that drive each other crazy (both leave their stuff everywhere BUT theyre hypocritical about it and get irritated at each others' things in their space, helia bangs around at 3 am doing dishes and flora wakes up at the drop of a hat and has places to be at dawn) but theyre nonconfrontational about it to the point it becomes a growing point for their relationship?

ALKGHLAJDGHLJAG okay to be fair, i do think that by the time they're ready to move in together they've probably fixed most of their bad roommate habits! i uhh actually have quite a few headcanons about them living together But

after s1, flora is definitely a lot more considerate of her roommate's so i don't think her plants would be a Huge issue. they would likely look for a place with a garden or at least keep her experiments out of the house. while helia is used to living alone, he has experience living with others so i don't think there would be a big issue with him leaving his shit everywhere either? they would definitely look for a place with at least two bedrooms or just some other separate room where helia could do art and not be in the way.

i think their sleep schedules would definitely be the biggest issue! while i definitely see flora as a bit of a night owl too, she would be a lot keener on keeping a relatively good sleep schedule. honestly, i feel like the biggest issue would be helia either not going to bed or waking up and then leaving. flora would be a little upset that she isn't going to sleep next to him or waking him up with him. i feel like she's a weird mix between good sleeper and bad sleeper in that she wakes up very easily but has no trouble falling back asleep. so she would wake up to find him gone multiple times in the night yknow? and tbf i do think helia would be more considerate and not make a lot of noise but i really think the biggest issue would be him just. not being there while she's sleeping. it would make her feel lonely :(

flora would probably brush it off a bit at first but the longer it goes on she would try to push it a bit more. but not in an obvious way because she would think she's being Too Much and she wouldn't want to bother him. i think eventually flora would just vent to one of the winx and they would fix it aljhgdjladhgjlhadg
