Y'all I admitted to my dad last night that I run this Byler blog bc unfortunately it was relevant to my OCD and trauma in a roundabout way, and he was like, "I'm not surprised honestly, I've noticed that you take their relationship extremely seriously" ??? 😭😭😭 And then he asked me if I was obsessed with Byler, or if I hyperfixate on their relationship and use it as an emotional support or a coping mechanism and I couldn't say no 💀 💀 💀

okay, so we know that godtiering heals you. tavros gets his legs back, vriska gets her eye and arm back etc etc. furthermore, it could be interpreted as healing perceived disadvantages. terezi wouldnt get her sight back if she were to godtier, because she doesnt see (pun not intended but here we go) her blindness as something that weakens her, quite the opposite - and when aranea heals her sight, she hates it and purposefully wears a blindfold. sburb would recognize her preference and honor it once she ascends.
we could go even further. once ascended, all your perceived weaknesses would be removed, and what weakness means varies wildly from person to person. harlenglishcrocegberts keep their glasses, as well as vriska - we can assume they never felt like their bad sight was any issue for them, so it was left out. for trans folks, and lets put myself under the microscope - if i were to godtier, sburb might throw my way a nice and quick top surgery, but leave the rest alone since i dont have any strong feelings about those.
it could even heal things like brain damage, chronic pain, migrains, cancer, anything that you feel like brings you down will be removed. alpha kids get their hangovers healed up. ascending basically builds your body up from the start, atom to atom, whole dna rewritten if you want it to be.
my question now: would it, or would it not remove karkats or kankris mutation, making them limebloods? everytime we see vantases who are god tier theyre ghosts, and their wings are not shown. it might be because theyre small (which is a popular headcanon) or they dont have any, be it because of their mutation or because its a feature of the bloodcast they originate from, or theyre simply hidden. either way we never see what the actual color of their wings is, which would indicate the color of their blood after ascention.
basically i have no idea. but its a fun thing to think about and ive been doing it for the past few days now

Hi! First time caller here.
I guess I just wanted to ask what you think about the fact that in Caduceus comic / whole series the whole Clay family is pink haired? I can't really pinpoint the source now, but I thought it was dyed pink? Like there was a canon scene about it, from what my memory seems to tell me, with the meat lady in Balenpost, but I checked now and it's not it. Wasn't there something like that, a mention that Cad was using special mushrooms from the Grove or something like that for it? Is that just some fanon I'm thinking of?
Thank you for your service as the number one blog about our favourite firbolg o7
hi :- ) !! caduceus' hair is dyed, canonically. i dont remember when he mentions it but its canon, thats why it changes in the xhorhas arc, lack of sunlight presumably but also he points out (idr which episode, but while theyre in xhorhas and have their lvl 10 outfits) that its because of the different lichens he has growing on him. my impression was always that the rest of his family (minus his dad who is the one that married into the family and has grey hair) naturally has pink hair - clarabelle even dyes colours over her pink hair to make it rainbow. idk if that bits canon like textually (that the rest of them have pink hair naturally), so they could also be dyeing it for sure, but thats just what i thought the case was. maybe because cad points out that even in his weird family hes sort of an odd one out. which is saying something bc belle is a little weirdo
o7 no problam

can I say as resident red son fan in imminent-danger's corner: so fucking true. lord. s4 didn't need red son it wasn't abt him and the heavily fanon idea that red son needs the most comforting or whatever when mk is out here being misery kid supreme is baffling. hes a supporting character but fandom will sideline mei for red son even for shit that red son in CANON gave to mei/its YOUR power Mei. anyway i feel it. i like him but WHEW. fandom makes him a bit difficult to wholeheartedly like bc of what comes with it sometimes
bro i barely recognize fanon!Red Son with his canon counterpart it’s wild.
the fact that most of his screen time is in s1 and the s2 special while Mei is relevant all seasons, yet he has more fandom hype is…..interesting, to say the least :/
after watching (binging) lmk to s4 i was ready for some Mei fanart and metas and shit but it is like pulling teeth ;-;

watched the first ep of Dead Boy Detectives today, did anyone also think the dialogue was a bit clunky?
I don't mean it was unwatchable or anything i just feel like it didn't feel realistic the way they introduced the characters and world... It felt like the dialogue was for the viewer instead of an in character thing. We were gonna be introduced to a viewer surrogate within the first few minutes, there was no need to have the characters who already know how the show's world works spell it out for nobody... and then explain it again when Crystal showed up? idk it felt like something I would write (not a complient) 😅

Back from the theatre, night #1 under my belt.
HOW I WISH I COULD GIF SOME SHITS I'VE SEEN.
Funny stuff:
Kirk's t-shirt: Ross Halfin (written with the tallica font) shoot em all >> those two in this tour are something else.
the one dude whose job was placing himself in front of Lars' drumkit and protect him from the GIGANTIC BEACHBALLS COMING AT HIM
no, i swear, it's been a while but--- is it me or they werent THAT big back in the DM era??? that was super fun to see filmed eheheh
anyway. think about it: your job is being a goalie for Lars Ulrich hdjadkadh
i have NO idea what happened but at some point, james did the usual thing that he does with rob: he offers a palm up devil's horns-- like, their usual "metal high five", right? and rob high fives him 2 times. then james extends the devil horns AGAIN? and Rob and I both just look at his hand, puzzled, but he doesnt take it down. So Rob just pokes it with the neck of his bass (James grinned, so did I)
AND YET AGAIN James extends the devil horns FOR THE THIRD TIME???? IN THE SPAN OF 20 SECONDS????
Rob's acquiesces again, with his hand, up and down, AND JUST THEN the high five hungry james is satisfied and goes back to play.
your guess is good as mine.
at some point rob was on this... idk this round mini platform?? and the crew was pushing and dragging him in the middle of the snakepit, while he played and moved on this minuscule circular platform, like he was on a sedan chair?? i havent yet watched any live vids from the current tour so this was new to me??? what's happening guys??? is this the compromise bc Rob kept feeling the urge to people dive and it wasn't allowed?

The idea that Entry 17 is a True Lab security cam footage during Gaster's experiments while he was reciting what to write in his own entries (also SPEAKING in hands but WRITING normally) and perhaps one of the two others present being an assistant who writes/translates his coded speech into something legible.....is messing me up big time.
I'm not saying I liked all of this video, there are points I completely disagree with. I personally believe Alphys wrote all visible entries, created Flowey, and though doesn't know Toriel personally, knows OF her existence. Other than that though, kudos to this person for adding a twist to this story. The 2 DT experiments is vague since I assume ALPHYS coined the term NOT Gaster, but I also like to believe Gaster made/designed the extraction machine, so he knew of the existence of it. I mean we have to assume he knows of it if he has ANY relevance to the future plot w Souls. Idk, timeline is weird.
Now I'm really thinking the times we read legible Gaster dialogue it's him typing/writing vs speaking to us because we don't hear his garbled voicebit...interesting.
