At 80% and higher love, unless the encounter is with the LIs, Sophie might interupt the player instead of just warning them. The more dangerous the encounter is (EX: kidnaping/high trauma/will lead to passing out/..etc) the higher the chance they migh appear to stop it.

short answer: his mother. or at least, the creature that used to be her.

long answer: WELL. (cw under the cut for non-graphic descriptions of body horror, discussions of ableism and terminal illness, and also just. straight up. i'm telling you how eden died. not going into graphic gorey detail but yeah </3)

so, eden's mom died when he was 12. famously, that's an event that really helped shape his life, second only to abdiel leaving six years earlier. however..... it's important to know that those two things are related.

y'see. eden doesn't know this. but hannah had been sick for a long time, and part of why abdiel left was to go find a cure for her. that's not what she wanted him to do, of course. hannah wanted him to stay with her so they could enjoy the time she had left. but he was determined to cure her and that he'd have to leave her in order to do so. so. welp. her wishes in this situation would have to wait.

another important part of this puzzle is that abdiel is a necromancer by trade. he knows other schools of magic as well, sure, but necromancy has always been his focus. and he specifically is a major proponent of the idea of using necromancy for healing, rather than simply resurrection. that's what much of his life's work was focused on.

so, abdiel sought to find a way to use necromancy to help cure his sick wife, and he failed, and she died. and eden, who was left feeling worthless and alone after his father abandoned him (and after basically all the adults in his life failed him, one way or another ), decided that part of his revenge would be destroying that work and making it his own.

eden would become the only dr. linnaeus remembered by history, by doing what abdiel had failed to do. by not only reviving hannah, but curing her illness entirely, and then using that to cure anyone else suffering like her who wants to be saved.

of course, by the time eden knew any necromancy magic himself, hannah was long dead. and... from a purely practical perspective, eden was nowhere near skilled enough as a spellcaster to be able to use any traditional necromancy to revive her. so eden decided, instead, to try something new.

he was going to revive his mother through transmutation magic, through the alchemy and artificer infusions he was already learning and showed a great affinity for.

i'll skip ahead in this explanation, but basically eden's idea was to create a new body for his mother's soul to inhabit. he wouldn't be reviving her in her original body, no, he'd be reviving her in one free of the pain and illness she'd suffered from for much of her life.

(before i continue, i'll just go ahead and establish this now: no, eden did not consider whether or not hannah would want to be resurrected. by this point, his tunnel vision on beating abdiel, one way or another, was beginning to consume him. ethical concerns didn't matter so much at that point.)

skipping ahead again. when eden finally succeeded at the ritual he'd created, it... backfired, putting it nicely. the creature he created wasn't hannah, not really--it had her face and it spoke in her voice, but it wasn't her. it was a mass of limbs and teeth, with too many eyes and an enraged howl that shook eden to his core.

he tried to reason with it at first, to get it to recognize him and calm down as it thrashed around his lab. and it lashed out at him, slashing him across the face and throwing him to the floor. and for a moment eden just... lied there, shaking and staring at the monster he'd created. it hurt. that thing wasn't his mother, but it was her face and her voice screaming at him, cursing him for creating it.

and then he was just... angry. how fucking dare this thing attack him? how dare it be such a failure? how dare it ruin everything he was working for? how dare it act like this was his fault?

before he really knew what he was doing, he grabbed a hammer from his artificer tools and lunged at the creature, intending to put it out of its misery so he could try again. clearly, he needed to refine the ritual, but he was on the right track. he just-

(eden managed to kill his creation, but it fought back and mortally wounded him in the process. he shoved its body into the open fire at the heart of his lab, where he'd brew potions and boil water when he needed it. and by that point, he was too exhausted to keep going and try to find help. so he just... lied there, and bled out slowly.)

(as a not-so-fun aside to this. when eden's body was found a few days later, there was an investigation launched by the university. a recent graduate dying brutally in his university-funded lab? yeah that raised some eyebrows. ultimately, though, said investigation determined that eden had killed himself, as by then the creature's remains were burned until they were unrecognizable. everyone assumed it was just some... *thing* he'd been studying.)

yinyue is the rover from the upcoming game wuthering waves. because the game is unreleased and still in closed beta, information on her is limited and constantly changing. the way i write yinyue would be majorly headcanon based. she's amnesiac and do not remember who she is. she's searching for fragments of her memories.

i'm experimenting & developing her muse as i go along, so her portrayal will be subjected to change. please understand and expect inconsistence and shifts in her lore and personality as i establish her muse and core.

i kinda feel like in the 'from eden' au, the reveal that this rabbit person they've been sheltering would be very dramatic and 100% on dream's terms.

like, when push finally comes to shove and sam (and q) have to admit that dream escaped and it spreads and phil and ranboo are talking about being worried about what dream might do, talking about maybe helping sam out in looking for him. dream hears all this and yeah, there's some panic and trying to work out a way that he can still pretend to be this other person and be safe.

but he says 'fuck it' and cuts his hair short and binds his chest with the bandages they used to treat his wounds and goes to them like 'you can turn me in'

Desmond who lives through the solar flare and refuses to fall in line with whatever William has planned but also can’t go back to a civilian life without feeling like he is betraying everything his ancestors built so he gets shipped off to England to chase the other people of their bloodline so they couldn’t be used in more Abstergo nonsense and also to build up the brotherhood after the heavy losses they’ve faced.

The first person on his list to look into? Lily Evan’s who is a distant cousin of some sort that disappeared into the system after an attack on the base she was born at and all but disappeared completely when she turned eleven.

He doesn’t find her, but he does find her child locked in a cupboard while the woman’s adopted sister tries to lie to him about the line having died out.

(The glowing lines of Isu tech now embedded in his arm ache with his rage. He can almost hear Altair’s growling voice in his ear demanding justice. Can almost see Ezio prowling behind the woman and her hateful husband as if he’s going to take them out himself. Can almost feel the lock picking tools in Connor’s hands as he glares at the cupboard with glowing gold eyes. Hell maybe he does see them. Most of the time he can’t tell how much is his fractured mind producing ghosts of the only people he has felt safe with and what is Isu bullshit punching through time itself so they are actually there.)

Which is how Desmond ends up semi kidnapping a child (is it really kidnapping if his guardians shoved Harry in his arms and told him to never come back?) and trying to figure out how much grief he is going to get by bringing the kid home on a motorcycle

The image that really set all of this off is imagining Harry getting inducted into the brotherhood literally in the middle of the battle of Hogwarts a la will and Elizabeth’s wedding in pirates of the Caribbean through both Desmond and the ancestors via the resurrection stone.

I'm honestly shocked that since Emotion/Representation aired I've yet to see anyone do anything at all with Felix and Mary Shelley's Frankenstein??? I think about it every day it's literally THE Felix piece of media. It's his entire character thesis. What are we doing guys

To be fair I have seen a few people headcanoning it as one of Felix’s favourite books (Which yes. Absolutely. 1,000,000%) but there hasn’t been any fics/art/edits/etc. about it yet to my knowledge. My copy is at my parents’ and in French but I am tempted to find an English PDF since it’s been public domain for a good while now. The web weave potential is insane.

I have many thoughts about Felix and literature in general… I have him quote Cyrano de Bergerac all the time in my fics, for example. I was thinking of starting a list of works of art and literature he’d enjoy, so I’ll take this as a sign to get writing! I can get my fandom friends to make some suggestions as well! 📝

I feel like the ST albums are the representation of five stages of grief.. although some songs had those styles, but this I had to ramble em up:

One - Denial

Two - Anger

Sundowning - Bargaining or Depression, it seems look like it.

TPWBYT - Depression(or Bargaining.. idk tho)

TMBTE - Looks like Anger but also Acceptance, but again, idk..

Seems to me that some of the songs had the slow sad theme, yet it had the tone of anger, denial, depression at the same time as its tone of sound.. That's how I think of Euclid.

What I believe that this song, is a song of Acceptance.

At the end of the music, the TNDNBTG tone starts with a calm yet bittersweet sound makes it a sad bittersweet tone. Imagine this text I made:

amity and vigdis - these two have a generally unhealthy power dynamic due to amity being her direct BossTM and also. corruption things but amity is genuinely nice to vigdis.. vigdis teaches amity how to play regicide and they talk about being voidborn together.. idira often joins in (who is also dating vigdis but not amity) ur gonna see amity be the Most Normal around vigdis

amity and vladaym - amity sees vladaym as something to possess and own in order to get the kasballica under her control (something she tries with all of them but vladaym is the only one to personally attract her attention ..red flag warning signs RUN). eventually amity completely corrupts him, makes him renounce all faith, patrons and god, except her. who he will worship as a living goddess called the Great Beacon... and yeah he does <3

amity and pasqal - amity seeks to corrupt pasqal like everyone else but she also is completely and utterly fascinated by him, the tech-priests, the adepus mechanicus and their worship of the omnissiah, so she gets pretty close to being indoctrinated by pasqal into the order. their relationship revolves her worshipping his sacred augmentations, playing directly into his faith, and he believes she is worshipping the omnissiah through him and their relationship but she's just worshipping him........

amity and marazhai - constant power struggles lead to amity taming marazhai into being her own little plaything, they enjoy torturing people together and bathing in blood and marazhai watches amity cannibalise her own crew and drink their blood and eat their brains and then they do nasty things together :) they are simply terrible! if you see them together, run!

amity and uralon - i need to progress more in the game to solidify these two but my current idea is uralon acting in the same way abelard does for the rogue trader except amity is now a chaos sorcerer and wife to a god or something and uralon does nasties with her whenever she demands it . yaaay

eden and yrliet - oh my god thank god we're actually at something nice.. these two are the starcrossed lovers soulmates trope "me and you against the world" stuff ... they are so good for each other in that eden has infinite patience, understanding and kindness and so does yrliet.. they both have a lot of trauma and things to work through and they take their time with it . i have it set right now that they both leave at the end of the game to travel the stars together, imperium be damned . these two make me cry and make me wish love like this actually existed SLFK;SFS
