Summary:

Today was Kieran's birthday, but it was the last thing that mattered to him. In fact, he vowed it would never matter to him again. Instead, he would focus on things that would keep him strong: his battling, his strategizing, and his crown as the Blueberry Champion. His sister and the Elite Four won't stop asking him random questions, though, and if anyone brings up Juliana any more than they already have since she arrived as an exchange student, he's seriously going to lose it. But...why can't he stop thinking about her? And why is everyone acting so suspicious?!

Nestled in the Metro Kingdom’s countryside, live the twin plumbers Mario and Luigi. For most of their adult lives, they’ve dedicated themselves to fixing the pipes (and light bulbs) of their small hometown. But when a phone call worlds away separates the duo, Mario travels to the Mushroom Kingdom to do what he does best. Little did he know that he would be tackling the unbelievable, saving the kingdom’s citizens from a tyrant. Meanwhile, the younger Saltatore finds himself having to help a secluded scientist with restoring his power. But the Princess, everlasting in her patience, was willing to extend an open hand to a better future for both powers. Keyword being ‘was’, as Bowser has decided to take that offer with an iron grip. In more recent months, things have escalated, as the King took up a plundering habit, reaping worlds of their riches and denizens in hopes of impressing the elusive blossom of the Toadstool Family. Such actions have only weakened an already brittle relationship. During all this, she has lost all respect for the powerful pirate. But, uh, no one has had the courage to tell him the bad news. Peach, however, has had it up to here with this destructive campaign for her adoration and is currently looking for a champion to send a very, very clear message to him as she’s too busy tending to those harmed by Bowser’s tirade. Good luck, Mario! You’re gonna need it. Late Shuake week 2022 Day 1 - Flowers

Okay bc I am now positively excited to draw some baseball au, let me get some things straight:

-Wukong LOVES being there, he’s the designated pitcher. Isn’t great at batting, isn’t the worst either. Claims to be a good sport, but very much is not. Mans HATES loosing, and is openly VERY competitive, almost becomes not enjoyable to play a game w him sometimes like yikes. Chews gum very loudly to annoy Macaque (it works)

-Macaque claims he hates being there, and is constantly seen dramatically rolling his eyes/ not paying attention when in the field. AMAZING batter, has never stuck out. Horrible pitcher, can’t catch the ball for shit. Get him behind the bat/ running base to base and mans has never been more focused before in his life. Secretly super competitive, which can be seen with smirks, or dramatic huff-sighs

-Mei: please god don’t let her pitch, she throws the ball at you because she thinks it’s funny. Loves being there, picks on Redson the entire time. AMAZING in the feild, she will catch that fuckin ball even if it kills her

-MK just enjoys being there, doesn’t care if he winds or looses. He’s mediocre at baseball and is okay with that. Zones out in the feild, drags feet thru the dirt to draw pictures. Love the kid but he never knows what’s going on

-Redson was dragged into playing, very competitive but also very bad at playing. Is secretly having the time of his life. Is determined to win every game and “no noodle brain it isn’t just a game”. HATES when Mei messes with them when he’s trying to focus. MK finds it halarious

i’m trying to catch up with as much dimension 20 as i can before fantasy high junior year, i’m currently on a starstruck odyssey, and can i just say: there is truly no greater example of ally beardsley’s dnd progress than the parallel of ally as kristen applebees willingly taking 36 points of damage, bringing kristen down to 3 hit points as kristen plummets multiple stories due to a failed attempt to use a ribbon dance as a way to fly down 10 stories, and ally as margaret encino willingly taking 11 points of damage, bringing margaret down to 3 hit points so margaret can fall 30 feet from a camera nest, walk up to a giant corn guy, and say “you suck” as all the intrepid heroes look on assuming this to be usual beardsley tomfoolery, only for margaret to walk away & trigger an attack of opportunity which gives murph as barry a chance to push this guy off a ledge & possibly win them the entire encounter & over 1 million credits. INSANE. ally beardsley i’m obsessed with your mind

Cardio said my echocardiogram ultrasound, exercise stress test, and week long heart monitor all showed no serious issues, my resting heart rate is fine, but that my heart rate does seem to rise very rapidly under even small amounts of stress (postural changes, taking stairs, casually walking around my house) and rises very high (160+ bpm according to the monitor) so now I get to be put on beta blockers to see if they work and if they do she said that is sufficient evidence to confirm for sure that it's POTS.

Obviously could confirm it as well with a tilt table test but those are TORTURE based off what I've heard from fellow POTSies so I am very thankful that she doesn't think that's necessary and will not be making me do one.

Before I could get a good look at him, Boston introduced Top and I could feel the walls begin to crumble around me as he leaned in and whispered, sweet and warm, with the smell of cherries and whiskey on his breath.

Cursing a chill that descended slowly down my spine as he pulled away into my sight for that first time and gave me the most scheming of smiles, I knew.

“Can you wait?” Mew asked between sun-dew kisses and lingering fingers, “I think we can be more than just a one-night stand”.

He knew how Top played around with the fellow students, he had seen him with Boston and listened to Ray’s worried tones. He knew he was asking for trouble from the very beginning.

 Here he was in the arms of the man who could have been a devil, scorching a flame in his pants, when he probably should be studying for his Business Major mid-term. Seriously, he should be studying. Not to mention his shift was coming up in an hour at the hostel he ran with Boston and Ray.

But you know, horny hot boy in his bed–in his arms–and he sorta liking the attention.

Shit. Focus. Priorities. 

Mew shakes himself and tries to pull away from Top when he noticed that Top was staring while he got lost in thought after he asked the pivotal question.

Instead, Top relaxes and brings Mew into the crook of his neck and hums. Not responding to the question in the air yet this soothes Mew’s wandering worries.

Mew closes his eyes and rests his fingers upon Top’s taut chest, tapping to the beat of his heart. 

Top feathers his lips in Mew's hair and all Mew could think is how many people Top has been with and what if he could be the last. 

While it is a silly thought, Mew begins to dream.
