In this essay I will talk about how Rick could have made Jason a more interesting character to more people

Im not joking, Drews is next and why she really wasnt that bad of a person, just a traumatized teen

CW FOR MAJOR SPOILERS IF YOU HAVENT FINISHED ALL THE BOOKS!!!!

Starting off I fully believe most people didn't like Jason because he was a random new guy, like we were expecting Percy and got some amnesiac and didn't get to see out hero happy and living his life for the entire book, and he was so confused most the time, because he fully didn't remember anything, he wasn't even given the same fake memories to try and act normal, he didn't know his own name when he woke up on that bus, we had to personality to go off of at the start, because HE DIDNT KNOW WHO HE WAS! People always say Leo was the best out of the lost trio and that's because so many people could relate to him, he used humor to cover stuff up, like everyone's favorite mc did (Percy). Piper had her own struggles, like finding out who she thought was her boyfriend, didn't know who she was, she was being manipulated and her dad was being held hostage as she was told to kill her friends, and she AND Leo were in a WILDERNESS SCHOOL. A. WILDERNESS. SCHOOL. I got off topic, sorry, but piper had so many of her own stuff she was working through in the way she thought was correct, by lying and hiding things. Jason had nothing, he knew he didn't remember anything and he was sad. Leo had a personality and was content separate to them, obviously he had issues but he was the most similar to Percy, so fans liked him the most (imo)

Now, onto how rick could have made Jason better

made him actually an awesome fighter, he killed monsters with his bare hands and was raised by wolves since two, he should have been equal to or even better than Percy with muscle memory and all, which yeah he had but he still should have had a more feral side to him, he was said to climb the ranks at camp Jupiter and was a bit more wild than other romans, I think it would have been interesting to see Jason use his instincts more and be a little feral when he lost his memory, not having his camp Jupiter training but muscle memory and instincts to guide him and keep him going

He should have been more separated from Percy, he was not a comparison to Percy and I don't like that was how he was written, I don't have much to say about this but I really didn't like when they both sat at the head of the table

He should have gotten his memories back like percy did, He never got to learn who he was or what he stood for in the past because he never got to get those back, even after the war ended hera/juno didnt return them, which I think would have made a really interesting ending to TLH, or getting them during the quest or something, but he dies without knowing who he was, only a pawn for the gods

Have had mention of him previously, like a picture thalia had and thats why she even agreed to bring annabeth, because she reminded her of jason, or just that she even HAD a little brother so readers could have had a fun plot twist and even more of a heart warming reuniting scene

Adding to that a bit i think thalia and jason really should have had more time together, like maybe in toa mentioning that thalia had been visiting jason when she could to catch up on lost time, to be siblings again and try to live as normally as possible. (off topic but i think the jason/luke comparisons are 50/50, i like others seeing it and Thalia at first but removing the idea immediately because at one point she liked luke and jason is her baby brother)

Let him be awake during fight scenes

I think jason could have grown more, and adapted a mix of fighting, a bit roman, a bit greek, and a bit feral, to match how his life was

when we see him in toa i think it would have been fun to see how much he had grown, experimenting with new styles (maybe a bit more alt considering his older sister, but he was at a boys school so maybe outside of it?) Just, growing into himself and not focusing on the gods as much, he lived and died for them, without much in return

Let us know who his friends were before he lost his memories, like have percy seens people asking around or being asked if he had seen a blonde gut about yae high, named jason, just stuff like that to show he had a community or at least someone who truly cared he was gone

Ik it was more of a list but yk, also sorry for the lack of punctuation, i forget it exists unless its an excessive amounts of commas, i like commas, and forget to capitalize my I's

Eek sorry for the abrupt absence/late update!! Things got topsy-turvy irl but things have calmed for now -- I didn't right much this last week but I'm going to try and get an update out soon!! Worst case scenario, if life continues to fling crap at me, you'll get a bigger one on the 28th of this month!!

Either way, good chunk of Greta's update is done ✅! I just need to wrap up some places that I skipped over and link up the ending for the alt version of chapter 2's intro!!

I've also been taking breaks to tweak the superior version of TLH (the twine version with hope) -- and I've gotten a good chunk of the intro done. Otherwise, we're rushing quickly on to chapter 2 in full once Greta is finished!! I hope you enjoy the little bits you've seen of Finlay, you're going to be spending a LOT of time with them soon... okay so this is the " Send me "alt!" and I'll introduce you to a character I've rped in the past, want to play in the future or are currently playing somewhere else! " meme but I am going to add another section : why I don't currently play them .

used to write both . don't write now because I feel like since I only watched the series through once all the way I don't know enough to write them & would make a fool of myself .

tvd muses ; caroline forbes , damon salvatore , enzo + some others I liked in the show .

would love to write . don't write because of the first reason ^ & because I felt I couldn't do their characters justice . the unnamed muses ( bonnie / katerina / lexi ) I never had enough muse to really try so I gave up .

shadowhunter muses ; isabelle lightwood , jace herondale , clary fray , emma carstairs , will herondale , so many of the blackthorn family , james herondale , anna lightwood , lucie herondale , and so many of the chain of thorns esque characters

have written some / would love to write the rest . don't write because I have never finished any of the series . literally i'm like one book away from tmi , twoish from tda , and I've read the first of tlh because I can't afford a ton of books rn . hoping to read them now that I've downloaded kindle as soon as I get spendable cash but for now it is what it is . I kinda wanna write a better version of tlh where Tatiana is still insane but there's no Belial bc that makes zero sense to me

In this version there would be:

Kamanna done correctly with actual genderqueer rep and not toxic relationships

Barbra and Oliver bc fight me she didn't die

Genie and Filomena bc I love them and all the lightwoods are queer

The gracelet doesn't even happen bc I refuse to write that

Grace is pretty much still the same but she breaks off their(hers and james') relationship bc she notices that he loves Cordelia

No bad James. He's not a shitty person to Alastair, and he doesn't treat Cordelia like a sex object

Anna puts a stop to Kellington and Matthew's relationship before it gets serious. She also tries to get him to stop drinking all the time

Alastair apologizes around seeing them again for the first time. The merry thieves are a little reluctant because of some of the things he did but they don't actively try to keep him away from events that they're at

Matthew notices how Alastair looks at Thomas and locks them in the sanctuary with Genie and Cordelia's help

Grace gets badly injured due to a mistake in necromancy and Christopher helps her treat it without letting people know

Lucie meets Jesse, and falls in love ofc, so in order to bring him back successfully she asks Malcolm to train her in using her magic

Matthew opens up to his mom about the incident. She doesn't blame him at all and instead apologizes for often putting her work before him

Matthew finds out about Charles and Alastair because he found Alastairxs break up letter to Charles

Matthew, the mother hen he is, decided to attempt to murder his older brother, only being stopped by James who had been there at the right time

Kamala ends things with Charles and tells Anna that she still loves them and hopes that she will give her another chance

Anna told her that they needed time to think, and that she is worried how Kamala's reputation will be affected if anyone besides their friends and Anna's family finds out

Kamala respects her decision and doesn't contact her until Anna's ready to talk about things

The merry thieves don't ignore Christopher and they actively listen and help him

The merry thieves also aren't terrible to Grace bc they realize she's been isolated alone with Tatiana and 1) she might not understand what's saying/doing is wrong or 2) that sometimes she's trying to push them away so her abilities don't accidentally make them do something

Good tid parents

James and Alastair being respectful to each other despite personal differences

Matthew, Alastair, Kamala, Christopher, and Grace being besties, or as I call them, the neglected squad

No fetishizing mlm/wlw

Domestic cuddles and taking care of the other one when they're sick

Jesse/Lucie/Matthew pairing bc I love them and I refuse to pick between lucie/matthew and lucie/jesse

yes. YES. just,,,,z James is a sweet compassionate literature nerd who accidentally makes a good leader and he actually cares about people, and not just judges them from his high horse; he does still have hero syndrome, but he's kind and respectful and overall a good character

ANNA INTERVENES ABOUT KELLINGTON PLZ. PEOPLE ACTUALLY NOTICE MATTHEW'S STRUGGLES. JAMES DOES, TOO, BECAUSE THERE'S NO GRACELET.

ok yes, so what about: basically TMT don't harass Alastair and accept his apology, and realize they were also being stupid and mean at times at the Academy (especially Math). Matthew doesn't want to accept Alastair's apology, because of The Sin, but his behaviour alerts the rest of TMT and they inquire what's wrong and he tells them about the sin and that's how he later tells his parents (because his friends encourage him) and as you say, she just hugs him and reassures him it's not his fault; so after that Matthew slowly begins to heal and accepts it wasn't Alastair's fault, and also since they've kind of adopted/started including Alastair in things, he can't help but notice he's actually changed and he even starts to grow fond of him

then like you said, Matthew notices Thomas likes Alastair PLEASE HE SO WOULD. I'm not sure about the Sanctuary, if it actually happens (I'll get to why later on), but him and Lucie get really invested in the matchmaking schemes, they include Genie/Kamala because these two are friends with Alastair (both? Or at this point only Kamala?) but they also share some Moments during their scheming/talking about love 👀 (yes I'm a Fairdale shipper, I think it's time to expose myself lol)

Which leads me to (sorry I'm going off order rn) YES YES YES LUCIE AND MATH PLEASE. A FELLOW SHIPPER, HELLO, NICE TO MEET YOU. But since we're actually fixing him then we can give Jesse a personality and I'm totally down for poly Math/Lucie/Jesse

Lucie seeking Malcolm's help in secret, morally gray heroine style?!? no, it's probably not legal. but also has there ever been a Shadowhunter like her? If the Law doesn't expect such situations, it can't really forbid them...

Plz Matthew ready to strangle the carrot when he learns about their relationship, YES. sure, maybe he's still not the biggest fan of Alastair, but he's seen how much the boy's been through and starts to develop an attachment to him, and besides, NO ONE DESERVES TO BE GROOMED AND TREATED LIKE THAT. He's SO MAD at Charles, and he confronts him about it - remembering Kellington as he does, and it makes him sick to think his brother would do the same thing to someone. Maybe he gets very emotional over this and later finally tells his friends about Kellington? Maybe they didn't know before, only Anna did? So when they all realize what was happening then they comfort him etc? Or maybe it's just Alastair that learns now, and the others knew before, and they share a bonding moment over that?

Injured Grace seeking Kit's help is a genius idea I didn't know I needed

Kamanna giving each other time and space and deciding they need to question their relationship and figure out if it actually makes sense would be great. Anna realising she's very privileged and Kamala doesn't have those same opportunities, and also in general realising coming out should never be pressured or forced. Just,,,, Anna being self-aware and respectful towards Kamala. Well-written Anna. Plz. Also Kamanna is actually developed and not just "in love" because,,,,, they're attracted to each other? Maybe even remaining friends while Anna makes up their mind?

yeah just TMT being more compassionate and less judgy because they're not written by Judith so her bias isn't projected onto them

It's not a want, it's a need. They adopt Alastair and Grace eventually. Like, maybe not literally - although, Grace? - but you know what I mean.

I think they all should just have various friendship dynamics and switch between them, because people need more than one friend group

I actually think Belial could still be featured? After all, I don't think Tatiana could do much on her own, and since she seeks help from demons, it makes sense to include a Greater Demon as well. But Belial would have to be a stronger villain, written better; I'll think more about this

if that was the case, the serial killer plot could still happen, but be done better. and it would allow for a scenario I talked about with @littlx-songbxrd to happen, where it's Alastair who's falsely accused of murder. It creates a great opportunity to explore some things, because we know Alastair is much more likely to be seriously suspected, considering all the prejudices and bad rep his family has and all that

...what do you say to well-written Jordelia? 👀 Cordelia hasn't been obsessively in love with James since childhood, she only had a crush then. And now that they meet again, she's fond of him but not in love, not straight away. They're both grown up, and different people, but as they spend more and more time together, they fall in love. What if Cordelia gets to flirt with some other boys first? What then. What if she ends up choosing James, instead of going for the only boy she's ever had feelings for and idealized since childhood. What if we even make it friends-to-lovers and have James be a little jealous at some point?! but not in a possessive awful way, just "oh damn oh no"

Thoughts abt the pokemon villains in the Legendverse after their respective

Giovanni and the rest of Team Rocket are either in hiding, or doing their business to a much much much smaller scale. Team Rocket is the only evil team that I can see still living as they are essentially an underground business. Wouldn't be surprised if theirs still some small factions up. Giovanni may be involved in TLH, though I'm not sure if it's the Legendverse version of him or RR version.

Maxie and Archie are barely able to dodge a life sentence, thanks to Steven and Wallace. vouching for them. After some years in jail and parole, and lots of couples therapy, the two both end up settling down together. They are still passionate about the land and sea respectively, but now put their knowledge to good use. May or may not have a bunch of mudkips and may or may not have a kid of their own ( that isn't Jin lol)

Cyrus, from the earlier post, got dragged out of the Distortion World and put into therapy. It took a long while but he's doing much better now. Happier too. He still prefers to keep to himself, so Danica got him a cottage at Lake Verity( Mespirit promised to keep an eye on him). Though, every so often he goes out, visiting Danica and her mom, Cynthia ( they started to rekindle their old friendship) and his grandparents. He's not exactly ready to revisit his home in eterna woods, but he silently hopes he can one day.

I'll be honest. I think Ghetsis is dead in this au. His sickness got the best of him and he passed away. The shadow triad are ultimately aimless right now, though I think Wayne helps them out. Maybe. Colress, as we know, is living his best life. Though he does want to try and reconnect with Eva. He was very fond of her, as a fellow lover of science and machinery. But, given how she doesn't want to see him, he'll just have to wait and see.

Lysandre.....oh Lysandre. The perfectworldshipper in me wants to have to miraculously survive and get lots of therapy and love happily live together with Sycamore. But alas. It cannot be. Given how in my version of events, Lysandre used Yveltal's power, with Xerneas as a potential back up. So basically, he's dead. Sorry Sycamore. ( Though I can see an alt ending with him surviving thanks to the backup Xerneas power. Though I think for now he's dead).

Guzma in this au isn't really a villain. Well, I would argue neither is his canon counterpart. Basically, Guzma is a freedom fighter, and is only seen as a villain due to being the few that actually stands up to the Aether Foundation - the real villains. After everything went down, Guz repurpose Team Skull into helping Alola. He also becomes the uncle to the Alola kids, and rekindles a lost love ( Kukui) and starts a new one ( Burnett)

Lusamine is most likely by herself in either Kanto or Kalos. She is no longer in contact with either her kids or the Aether Foundation. She has a lot of regret,after deeply reflecting on her actions. To her kids and to Alola. I feel she gets better, but is no longer in the picture ( unless I think of something related to TLH). I don't know what this means for Mohn though,but I do think he deserves to remember his past and be caught up to speed on everything. He'll be there for his kids :)

alas I have no more friends (who haven’t read shadowhunters) so I doubt I’ll get anyone to rate tlh characters or tec characters, but we’ll see.

quiet, doesn't mess with people, don't mess with her tho cuz she'll kill you if she thinks it's important, prioritizes her mental health, true neutral 6/10

Julian:

Always stoned, pisses people off but has good intentions, unstable, has internal problems but people don't know, unrequited love probably, unimportant character, 2/10

Kit:

also always stoned, important character, very controlling, chaotic evil, doesn't show people his true emotions, probably secretly cares about people but doesn't show it, I don't like him, 5/10

Mark:

evil as FUCK, self serving but has good intentions (for himself only), feuding with other people, tsundere, someone kills him probably idk, don't like him either, 7/10

Cristina:

important side character, the mixed girl who serves the white protagonist, maybe stops serving them, willing to back stab anyone, in love triangles cuz she's indecisive, neutral vibes, dies, 6/10

Kieran:

he's ugly lmao, evil turns good, misunderstood, has good intentions, another character neglects what they say, serves another character or organization, uninteresting, 4/10

Ty:

EVILLLLLLLL, uncompromising, might lose something bc they're so selfish, refuses to realize being evil isn't everything, main character probably, doesn't die (can't die ?), Hottie, 10/10

Dru:

idk if she's old but she looks old, dies, probably has the best intentions out of everyone but no one realizes, she's an important character to use in arguments, 5/10

Livvy:

boring, only exists to serve another characters story, turns evil, reverse tsundere, probably gay, dead probably (idk why she didn’t rate her)

Magnus:

evil leader, misogynist, nothing special to say about him, people hate him but probably for the wrong reason, neutral evil (don't remember if that's even an alignment), 5/10

BONUS:

I tell her how wrong she is:

1. Emma, 8/10 very good and accurate but she’s loud not quiet, best one you did.

2. Julian, 2/10, he's not stoned he's a father figure at fuckin 17 we stan him, also a main character w Emma but he does hide his problems.

3. Kit, 5/10 about half of it is right, he's not controlling or evil but he did move across a continent to avoid his love interest who he thinks doesn't like him.

4. Mark, 0/10 you got him all wrong, he's a babie, got captured as a teen and tortured, he finally comes back but is very clueless, adorable and sweet hearted but not super competent in anything. dumbass but tries his best, and doesn't die.

5. Cristina, 3/10, is in a love triangle that turns polyamorous but she generally has the best morals of the group and does not die.

6. Kieran, 8/10 you did pretty good but he's an interesting guy.

7. Ty/Tiberius, 4/10, he is very uncompromising and selfish which doesn’t end well, but he can probably die (hasn’t yet) and isn’t the main character. I’d say he’s hot too but I’m a lesbian and he’s 15.

8. Dru/Drusilla, 6/10, she's way smarter than the other characters realize but she's also 13. she's a great gal and we stan, deserves more than a 5.

9. Livvy, 3/10, she's not boring and is generally a p good character until she fuckin dies so that's right, unknown if she's gay but I wish she was.

10. Magnus, 1/10, the only thing that was right was that people hate him for the wrong reason (prejudiced). he's a p good dude and a bisexual POC icon who saves everyone's ass multiple times in each series.

  Cordelia è la cugina di Jem Carstairs. I suoi genitori sono Elias e Sona Carstairs, e ha anche un fratello maggiore, Alastair.

Durante gli eventi de La Catena d’Oro, Cordelia ha diciassette anni (è nata nel 1885 a Tehran, in quella che allora era chiamata Persia). Ha i capelli rossi e gli occhi neri, ed è alta circa 175 cm. Il suo libro preferito è Layla e Majnun di Nizami (per maggiori informazioni, cliccate qui), mentre l’animale che ama di più è il gatto persiano.

È stata Cordelia a ereditare la spada di famiglia, e sappiamo che il suo legame con Cortana è molto forte (esempio: qui).

Entrambi i fratelli Herondale sono suoi amici d’infanzia (grazie alla cocciutaggine di Will, che ha fatto i salti mortali perché si incontrassero di frequente). A causa delle precarie condizioni di salute del padre, però, Cordelia e la sua famiglia hanno sempre viaggiato moltissimo, e questo le ha sfortunatamente impedito di stringere altre amicizie significative.

Il più grande desiderio di Cordelia e Lucie Herondale è di diventare parabatai, e logicamente Will non fa che incoraggiarle (qui, ad esempio).

Sin da bambina, Cordelia è innamorata di James Herondale. Cassie in persona l’ha rivelato anni fa, nel post in cui per la prima volta ci descriveva i personaggi di The Last Hours (qui). Almeno per il momento, però, Cordelia è costretta a nascondere i suoi sentimenti.

Benché si vogliano reciprocamente molto bene, il rapporto tra Cordelia e suo fratello Alastair è diventato sempre più complicato con il passare degli anni.

Non ha mai avuto la possibilità di frequentare particolarmente suo cugino Jem.

  James è il primogenito di Will Herondale e Tessa Gray. Ha una sorella minore, Lucie, e un parabatai, Matthew Fairchild.

Ha diciassette anni (è nato nel 1886 a Londra) e vive nell’Istituto insieme alla sua famiglia. Ha i capelli neri come Will, ma i suoi occhi sono di un dorato brillante (eredità del nonno demone). È alto circa 183 cm. Quando legge, indossa gli occhiali. Il suo libro preferito è Grandi Speranze di Charles Dickens; l’animale che ama di più in assoluto è il lupo.

Deve ovviamente il suo nome a Jem Carstairs (qui, ma anche qui).

Ha ereditato dal nonno demone l’abilità di trasformarsi in una sorta di “ombra”, cosa che gli ha fatto e gli fa vivere forti momenti di disagio.

I suoi più cari amici sono Matthew, Christopher Lightwood (suo cugino da parte di padre) e Thomas Lightwood. I quattro hanno affittato una stanza in una taverna (la Devil Tavern), e lì passano il loro tempo libero.

Sia Cordelia Carstairs che Grace Blackthorn sono sue amiche d’infanzia. La frequentazione tra James e Grace non è però di dominio pubblico, e Matthew sembra essere l’unico a conoscenza di questo legame (ed è chiaramente contrario: qui; tenete presente che l’estratto è sì tratto dal primo capitolo del libro, ma è stato pubblicato nel lontano 2014, e negli anni la scena è stata modificata/ampliata).

James ha frequentato l’Accademia Shadowhunters insieme a Matthew, Christopher e Thomas, ma a causa di un brutto “scherzo” di alcuni bulli (tra cui Alastair Carstairs) è stato espulso (e Matthew ha fatto il possibile per farsi cacciare a sua volta, portando accidentalmente Christopher via con sé. Thomas ha invece terminato l’anno scolastico, salvo poi decidere di non tornarci più).

Il periodo passato all’Accademia Shadowhunters l’ha logicamente spinto a provare una discreta antipatia nei confronti di Alastair.

  Lucie Herondale è la secondogenita di Will Herondale e Tessa Gray. Ha un fratello maggiore, James. È nata a Londra nel 1887, e vive nell’Istituto con la sua famiglia.

È alta circa 162cm, ha i capelli castani e gli occhi azzurri (di una sfumatura più pallida rispetto a quelli blu del padre) e il suo libro preferito è Il Castello di Otranto di Horace Walpole. Deve il suo nome a Lucie Manette, personaggio di Racconto di Due Città di Charles Dickens. Il suo animale preferito è il passero.

Come il fratello, ha ereditato dal nonno demone delle abilità peculiari: non si sa ancora di cosa si tratti, però.

La sua migliore amica è Cordelia Carstairs: le due desiderano ardentemente diventare parabatai, e hanno il più completo appoggio di Will (qui, ad esempio). Benché le due abbiano avuto modo di vedersi solo di rado durante l’infanzia, a causa dei continui spostamenti della famiglia di Cordelia, si sono sempre tenute in contatto grazie alle lettere.

Lucie sogna di diventare una scrittrice (ne parla ad esempio nel prologo del romanzo, qui), e ormai da anni sta lavorando a un romanzo dedicato alla sua migliore amica, “The Beautiful Cordelia”. Le due si scambiano costanti aggiornamenti sul libro.

Lucie ha un ottimo rapporto con gli amici del fratello (in particolare con Thomas, come rivelato qui), ed è spesso in loro compagnia. Non sembra invece provare particolare simpatia per Alastair Carstairs (qui).

Da bambina, Lucie ha incontrato il fantasma di Jesse Blackthorn in una foresta e l’ha scambiato per un changeling (nel già citato prologo e anche qui). Pur non avendolo rivisto per sei anni, il mistero che lo circonda la affascina.

  Matthew Fairchild è il secondogenito di Henry Branwell e Charlotte Fairchild. Ha un fratello maggiore, Charles.

È nato ad Alicante nel 1886, e ha brevemente frequentato l’Accademia Shadowhunters insieme a James Herondale (di cui poi è diventato il parabatai), Christopher Lightwood e Thomas Lightwood. I quattro hanno stretto un legame fortissimo, e passano molto del loro tempo nella stanza della Devil Tavern che hanno preso in affitto.

È alto circa 178 cm, e ha i capelli biondi e gli occhi di un verde scurissimo.

Il suo scrittore preferito è Oscar Wilde (il libro che ama di più, invece, è Il Ritratto di Dorian Gray), e per lui prova una vera e propria venerazione – al punto da dare il suo nome al golden retriever che gli ha regalato James per il compleanno (dopo averlo trovato abbandonato in strada).

Matthew può sembrare superficiale, ma è una persona molto attenta e affettuosa. Sa comunque come covare rancore – in particolare nei confronti di Alastair Carstairs, per cui prova un odio profondo (le motivazioni dietro questa sua rabbia sono rese evidenti in Verità nell’Ombra).

Neanche i rapporti con suo fratello Charles sono propriamente idilliaci (del resto, Charles sa essere insopportabile…). È invece molto amico di Lucie Herondale, a cui chiaramente tiene molto, e di Anna Lightwood, che ammira tantissimo.

  Thomas è il terzogenito di Sophie e Gideon Lightwood. Ha due sorelle maggiori, Barbara ed Eugenia. È il cugino di Anna, Christopher e Alexander Lightwood. Deve il suo nome al defunto Thomas Tanner (personaggio comparso ne L’Angelo).

Ha diciotto anni (è nato nel 1885 a Idris) e – con i suoi 195 cm – è in assoluto il più alto tra i personaggi di The Last Hours. Paradossalmente, da bambino era molto gracile e minuto, al punto da destare preoccupazione nei suoi familiari. Ha i capelli castani e gli occhi nocciola. Il suo libro preferito è Rubáiyát of Omar Khayyám (maggiori informazioni: qui), mentre l’animale che ama di più è il gufo.

I suoi migliori amici sono James Herondale, Matthew Fairchild e Christopher Lightwood. Va molto d’accordo anche con Lucie Herondale (come testimoniato anche da post e snippet come questo qui).

Ha recentemente terminato il suo anno di studio in Spagna. Durante il soggiorno all’estero, si è fatto un tatuaggio sul braccio.

Thomas è l’unico tra i “Merry Thieves” a non provare antipatia/detestare Alastair Carstairs: benché non si possano definire amici, sono comunque in rapporti cordiali, e Thomas sembra volergli sinceramente bene.

  Christopher Lightwood è il secondogenito di Cecily Herondale e Gabriel Lightwood. Ha una sorella maggiore, Anna, e un fratello minore di circa tre anni, Alexander.

I suoi migliori amici sono suo cugino James Herondale, Matthew Fairchild e suo cugino Thomas Lightwood. Ha ovviamente un’ottima relazione anche con sua sorella Anna e sua cugina Lucie Herondale. Non sembra invece provare particolare simpatia per Alastair Carstairs.

Christopher ha un po’ la testa tra le nuvole e sa essere parecchio eccentrico, ma è estremamente intelligente: ama la scienza e prova una fortissima ammirazione per Henry Branwell. I due passano molto tempo insieme in laboratorio. Il suo sogno è inventare, un giorno, qualcosa che possa aiutare tutti gli Shadowhunters.

  Alastair è il primogenito di Elias Carstairs e sua moglie Sona. Ha una sorella minore, Cordelia. È il cugino di Jem.

Ha i capelli neri, ma li ha recentemente tinti di biondo. I suoi occhi sono neri come quelli della sorella. È nato nel 1984 a Parigi, quindi nel corso de La Catena d’Oro ha circa diciannove anni. È alto circa 178 cm. Il suo libro preferito è Il Principe di Machiavelli, e gli piacciono i porcospini.

Durante la sua permanenza all’Accademia Shadowhunters è riuscito ad attirare le antipatie di James Herondale, Matthew Fairchild e Christopher Lightwood. Ha invece una relazione cordiale con Thomas (che rientra nella breve “Lista Delle Quattro Persone Al Mondo Che Piacciono Ad Alastair”, insieme a Cordelia, sua madre Sona e Charles Fairchild: qui).

Il rapporto con Cordelia si è fatto progressivamente sempre più complicato nel corso degli anni.

Anna veste da uomo, è apertamente lesbica ed è ammirata e rispettata dagli Shadowhunters di Londra. Ha un appartamento tutto suo a Percy Street. Ha ereditato la collana con il rubino di sua madre Cecily.

Anna è molto affezionata al gruppo di James Herondale, Matthew Fairchild (con cui condivide l’amore per la moda e le feste), Christopher e Thomas Lightwood (e a Lucie Herondale, ovviamente).

So a long time ago, I made Boss, the leader of TLH. To be blunt, I made her a supreme milf lol. Tittie window and everything. And while that's not bad, I'm realizing that her overall outfit ( which screamed Boss) would be a dead give away. It would make her look menacing, which is something doesn't want. In her eyes, she's always here to help, and wants to look as friendly as possible. I wanted her to look like an actual loving mother ( which she is). So here's a new concept for her!

Ta-da! The picrew clothing options weren't much to convey how I saw her, but I love this picrew so I'll give it a pass. I wanted Boss to exude fun mom energy. Mom jeans, crocs, even a fanny pack. Anything that makes her the least likely person to be running an organization hell bent on hunting Legendaries and Chosens. Also like. She's an actual mother. Okay. After talking with a mutual for a bit, maybe Eva and Kyurem can work. But only from a purely mutually beneficial standpoint( at first). Kyurem is very much a liner and would prefer to be alone. However. After what happened with Team Plasma and soon TLH, it would be wise to have someone that can protect them if they need it. So, they go to Eva, the person who saved them. Now, I don't think they Choose her right away, rather merely staying connected. Eva does her thing, Kyurem does theirs. It's only when Eva and the rest of her team starts to fill the emptiness that's within Kyurem, is only when they really consider Choosing her. A power of friendship deal. That way Eva gets to work out her trauma on her own terms, and Kyurem gets to not be completely alone.

It's an interesting dynamic, especially given how Kyurem usually is one of those legendaries that wouldn't give a shit about Chosens. They are too empty to care, but Eva comes along and slowly starts to break down their walls. I think this is a better dynamic than Kyurem being needlessly cruel and Choosing Eva just because they felt like it ( especially after a period after b2w2). Again. Not that a legendary can't. But it doesn't fit Kyurem, is what I'm getting at.

So yeah, the Chosens are the same. Eva is the Chosen of Kyurem, and Wayne is the Chosen of Keldeo. The other Swords of Justice don't have Chosens, they don't care about that, but are more willing to work with humans compared to before. Cheren, Bianca and Hugh aren't Chosens either.....well.

I'm....thinking that, potentially, Cheren and Bianca are considered backups to Alexis and Elliot. Cheren is the back up Chosen of Zekrom and Bianca is the back up Chosen of Reshiram. They haven't discussed this yet, and I personally am still thinking about it but like. Come on. Cheren already represents ideals and Bianca already represents truth, it kinda writes itself lol. I genuinely don't see Hugh as a Chosen though. Not even with Victini. And that's almost perfect! Maybe Masters will come around and change my mind with whatever alt they give him or the others but for now? Nothing lol.
