#death note #l lawliet #trad art #i have created a System to getting better lines bc i have to use a stupid pencil atm til i get my groove back w trad art #so what i do is draw w pencil and erase n shit til i get a nice picture then i go ham w a dark sharpie then i cut it out glue it to a nice #clean new piece of paper then i open ms word get rid of the ribbon so i have a nice white page then i use it as a lightbox since my darling #beautiful tablet is down for the count i must resort to new ways to make a light box but i am being extra extra careful i prommy i love #my laptop too much to let any markers get on her screen that's why i glued the papers to each other so there would be no unfortunate #sliding so my system is safe for my lovely darling beautiful wonderful light of my life vendetta (<-laptop's name)#that explanation of my system means nothing to any of u but i'm proud of myself for using my brain for once so i'm putting it out there tha #i am not completely useless in situations where no reasonable device could be used as a lightbox

#digital art #my suffering ends man #I made her a little more monstrous looking after her corruption becuz . I wanted to ^_^#as in I've drawn a little bit more uncorrupted gems (which she is) since her initial design so I wanted to redo it a little #made her look like a shark. becuz she's a lemon quartz so.. lemon shark idk man it just happened whil I was drawing #she wasn't initially gonna be uncorrupted but it would only make sense for her to be. also she's super cute now !!!!#also forgive me for idulging in myself. she doesn't have a body this human; she's segmented just like most other gems.#she doesn't have fat reserves so her “excess” weight wouldn't fold like humans she's segmented like an ant #because that's how I interpret gems to be like...#anyways really glad I'm done w this finally ^_^#now I have to make some refs for art fight. so that people aren't frustrated by how scattered all my references usually are #I go by muscle memory baby !! #as a rule it generally has always frustrated me that it very often feels like people are WILLFULLY misunderstanding&misrepresenting me #&occassionally it leads to fun past-times such as actively matching the level of intelligence generally expected from me-- none.#or matching whatever bland&one dimensional personality type i have been very obviously&typically tactlessly assumed to have.#but especially in regards to how nice i am as a default ive always had issues with negative backlash from it lmao.#like its a toss-up as to whether or not the assumption is that i'm too stupid w/ too little life experience #to understand that ppl are inherently evil&thus should be treated poorly&w/ as much suspicion as possible as a default-- lol #-- or that i'm being manipulative+fake &the kindness is surely just a front for nefarious intentions.#&like for the vast majority of my life ive primarily dealt w/ the former which is vaguely annoying but also a lot of fun to play around w/#until i've become too bored w/ the one-sided game to keep on playing it w/ ppl who have the overall depth of a shower floor #&the tact of a rabid wild boar only made worse by the continued assumption that im too stupid to understand that im being insulted.#but over the past few years the tides have shifted to the latter&like.#it took years of adjustment but i've finally perfected the art of actively disappearing in situations where its made clear #that my words&behaviors are being dissected for hidden meanings or malicious intent lmao.#truly the '... nah' philosophy has saved what little is left of my fucking sanity lmao.#it's officially the holiday season&i am already prepared to '... nah' my way straight the fuck into extremely comfortable isolation lol.#bc while i am more or less proud of having leashed my more vicious impulses it's still my first&strongest instinct #to take how bad someone thinks i am&to see how much lower i can go lmao.#when the assumption is that the worse that could happen is shattered kneecaps you take both the feet instead.#this is simply how i was raised lmao.#but in the interest of removing myself from that rather unhealthy cycle i am doing my best to just not engage when it happens.#... but fuck me if it doesnt feel like i'm being purposefully baited most times lmao.

also one last uni post. maybe a little gripe. finally taking 2nd cour digital art after 3 semesters and instead of being Adobe Illustrator™ class with a sprinkle of photoshop (actually i will give her one point. for one illustrator project she did have us use audacity for a portion and taught us how to corrupt wav files into still imgs) it is now Adobe CC™ class with zero illustrator, more photoshop, and an app-exclusive drawing program only available thru CC (she has lost the one point indefinitely.) the only silver lining is premiere pro is the other software being taught which i would love to learn to do more with. on the other hand. the student examples she skimmed thru to show off the PP project were not inspiring and i feel like if i have to incorporate video aspects into my art it is quickly going to become more abt checking off rubric boxes to get a decent grade instead of doing smth i want

#ctag #SIGHHHH long post it will not be the last abt da this year #last time i was in da1 i did not finish a single project #they were completed in a sense that they looked good n got me an a+ in the course #but 100% def not as far as i wanted to go w any of them #and that made me hate it all at the end of the semester #but this is my one art class and i have one other class w lab and another 1 credit hr #so i am hoping that i can devote more time and make work i am proud of #and that it won't be jus 'doing this for class' constantly #waiting for first project info before making any hard decisions but if research #is required as an aspect and all the works thru the semester have to theme then #i rly want to try and make it a scenery yr bc when i did that for printmaking i did copious amnts of research+concepts #bc i took a sinnoh location each time n found the hokkaido basis and local flora etc to recreate #an illustration reminiscent of what the pkmn location would look like in the real world #and i could totally get away w that again plus it would be so much fun #anyway i have things to do but tldr is da class is once again adobe-centric which i hate and loathe #what if i went off the rails and taught myself pixel art and say i did it in photoshop #would she buy it like. does ps have those capabilities #it is not a graphics designers job to be proficient in adobe cc #i rly wish she would understand that bc this is the only class in the program that pushes adobe and nothing else #what applicable skills am i going to take from this class if i never use an adobe product again?#digital art has the potential to be so generic and yet here she is. ruining it.#(also LMAOOO i jus remembered she had a clause in the syllabus abt not using other #third-party software that wasn't adobe for any class work like WHAT #specifically she said 'hey we're learning pp and not final cut or sony vegas so don't use those ever'#which like is REALLY hammering the skills-not-applicable-to-non-adobe-products nail #also wtf i would love to learn sony vegas. i already decently know premiere teach me something else #100% i will be using a non-adobe program to work on a project jus to spite her)

I have always been a big fan of him and he’s always been my favourite troll to begin with but every time I see him and hear him, my heart always beats so much for him, making it aflutter and words cannot describe how special he is to me...how he means the whole world to me~💞🌈💗🌈💞I mean...can you blame me? >//w//`< How could I resist and say no to such an adorable face to go with such a darling like him??💖😍💖😍💖 Cooper is more than just the goofball that we all know and love...he’s my goofball and so much more...~🥹The most amazing troll with such talent, a unique voice and a dazzling yet loving royal family to go with him...~🌟Cooper is also the prince of my heart, who deserves all the love and happiness in the world...and I feel so blessed to be the one to give it all to him, along with my heart~🥰💝💝🥰 April 24th 2020 was the day I drew Cooper for the very first time, and when I started shipping myself with him. And together, him and I have remained strong and inseparable ever since!🫶🏻😌💕We’ve had such happy memories together - becoming part of his world and family, sharing one another’s lives and music, even officially marrying and creating our own dear little life together~✨💜💗💚✨And I wish to keep on loving Cooper forevermore~💓😊
