heyy, i'm thinking about watching the haunting of bly manor, but i get really scared by horror movies. americn horror story season 1 was okay for me, season 3 i managed to watch but the rest were just too scary, i don't know if you've ever seen it, but if you did, how would you compare bly manor to ahs in terms of scariness?

Hi! Unfortunately, I can’t comment on that, because I’ve never seen AHS. I’d say that in The Haunting of Bly Manor, there is quite a lot of moments of the “intense music suddenly begins, Some Thing suddenly appears and then disappears again” kind, but, in my opinion, it doesn’t get really horror-y until the last 2-3 episodes, and in general is more sad than scary. Also, I found that ghosts looked less convincing and, consequently, less scary than, for example, in The Haunting of Hill House. I hope this helps!

Ok I’m really new to Tumblr and I feel the need to make a thing explaining what exactly this blog will be. Hello! My name’s Madelyn and on this blog I plan to show people my thoughts on things and my drawings...  I’ll most definitely repost a lot of other artists art since I’m basically in love with everybody’s talent 100%. Fair warning that the art I do post most likely won’t be very good since I just got into drawing and I’m still in the early stages of experimenting with different art styles and different mediums so being nice and giving friendly criticism would help a lot! I’m currently very into Yuri!!! On Ice so a lot of my content will be that but I’m not planning for this to be a yoi blog. All of the bands/shows/movies/actors that I like will be in the tags (I tend to like popular ‘fandoms’ because I’m unoriginal).
