Hiya! Would anyone be able to identify any of these pretty things? (the first spider is a stretch because of the low quality, since I was too Freaked to get close, but worth a shot lmao)
(I love spiders but am also incredibly arachnophobic...)

Thank you for letting me know your location in your other message :)
Idk about anyone else but I can ID them ;)
The first fellow is a ground spider, though I'd need to see it clearly to tell you which one. Could be a mouse spider, Scotophaeus blackwallii, a stone ground spider, Drassodes lapidosus, or another similar species.
The second is a spotted sulphur moth, and the third is a noctuid in the genus Amphipyra, proooobably a Eurasian copper underwing.
And the last spider is a female zebra jumper!

Moth ID help needed!
Anyone on here able to differentiate between A. pyramidea and A. berbera based on a resting photo from above? Wasn’t able to get a photo of the underside of the hindwing….
Both species are possible based on distribution and flight time, but A. pyramidea is slightly more common here.
~currently ID-ing~

Caterpillar friend at the park! I believe it’s a copper underwing (Amphipyra pyramidoides). Was initially surprised to see a cat this early but turns out these guys overwinter as eggs!

I wanna start a new spinoff meme (unless it already exists): spoilers for OCs without context
to explain, I will offer context (donkey kong holding up one finger) once, for this batch.
Graham, standard white boy: a graham cracker, because it's his name and he's white haha get it
Amata Rasoulle, queen of a solar themed empire drawing inspiration from the Ottoman, Roman, French, and Tokugawa empires: Amaterasu, because that's the Japanese sun goddess whose name is homonymous with her expy (Ah Mah Tah Rah Soo)
Lothor: Assassin from Soul Calibur 2, because, well, he's a Persian-coded character who covers his head and wears this type of armor and uses a scimitar
Æthan: an opal, because his codename is "Opal" for lore reasons
Heathcliff: the OG fat orange cartoon cat, Heathcliff, because they share the same name and are chubby boys. not a wuthering heights reference... ... ...but since I know it could be seen as such, I'll make it a wuthering heights reference too, fuck it, why not
Raven Bran Mar: a box of Raisin Bran Crunch, because I decided on the name Mar as a subtle nod to Jak & Daxter, found through checking the name in name origin websites to find hidden meanings to apply more personality traits (because that's how 90% of authors work LMAO) that Mar means Crunch in (I forgot what language), so I chose Bran because that's a fucking meme and a half. the first book's main antagonist's name is literally Raven Bran Crunch.
Lapis Sangaris: minecraft lapis lazuli ore, because she comes from a family of lapis lazuli miners (the surname is a subtle reference to the biggest lapis lazuli mine in afghanistan, also pertinent because she's afghanistani-coded)
Maku: the knife wielding crab, because he's an anthropomorphic crustacean creature who uses a sword. fun fact, I designed this fantasy race when I was a kid, long before warcraft had the crab people and fallout had mirelurks. I called them Lobsterrans... I thought it was clever back then. AND I STILL DO -
Skoros: the Amphipyra Effusa moth, because Skoros is Mothkin (another race I created that might exist in some capacity somewhere but if so then I haven't encountered it yet), which basically means he's Mothman
I invite anyone who sees this to do this for their own universes for a collective lul and for a little bit of trivia about their universes
