you can't be a good leader, let alone an ultimate-level one, if you can't work with people or connect with them on a personal level? DICE are referred to as 'friends bordering on family' for a reason. just because he doesn't do that in game doesn't mean it's like 'oil and water'/something he's fundamentally incapable of

I meant that he's like that *in the game specifically*. Of course he's close to DICE, or else they wouldn't've been in his motive video. Hell, outside of the killing game he probably would've worked just the same with the other v3s. Its just the situation that he's in that has him acting on edge and paranoid, pushing the others away do better do what he wants in what he thinks is for their own good. And so he eschews collaboration in favour of trying to pull the strings from outside to best "lead" the others through the killing game as much as possible.

#Shouldve been a bit more specific but my point stands #I get that my interpretation of kokichi isn't necessarily popular #and I really struggle to articulate that I dont think he's cold and unfeeling! Quite the opposite!#he's doing his best and going about it in an extremely round about way because hes. kokichi #he doesn't truly trust any of the other v3s and thats what lead to his death. imo #Maybe if he couldve worked with at least one of the others #together they couldve achieved more #but kokichi chose to go it alone not for lack of ability but quite on purpose #to do what he needed to do. to keep the others out of it. to make himself appear more villainous #so yeah. He is allergic to meaningful cooperation. In this game #Cant speak much on how he is outside of it beyond head canon #pluto answers #Should also note that hes not a leader. Hes a Supreme Leader. which changes the flavour of his leadership style. i feel #He's going to choose weirder less ethical and more underhanded tactics in his leadership because thats what his talent means imo

cold kind of hates, like... things that get in the way. he tells other voices to shut up when they get in the way of lq doing things. he thinks we should do whatever we want and not hinder ourselves with fear or pain. he knows we can just Make It Through if we don't listen to them. but in turn its like he really cares about lq. and if the other voices weren't getting in the way of getting shit done, he'd probably care about them a lot too, yknow?

i'm too tired and old to write long posts about shows anymore but can i just say how much i love haein and hyungwoo? both are complicated human beings trying to do better but struggling with trauma, loss, pressure and finding happiness without realising it's better to open up and work it out together? their journey is layered and interesting and i'm loving how many messy emotions the show's packed into it's lead pairing

#you can dislike a lead or a character absolutely fine i am all for fun debates and discussions #but calling a character cold or evil when you've been given so many examples why they've misunderstood each other and the family pressure #etc etc?? idk man have some critical thinking and appreciate how INTERESTING it is to have leads not follow the same formula #anyway #just some thoughts before i retire to read in bed at 8pm because i'm an adult who watches a show then needs early beddtime before work #queen of tears

#ALL POWER DEMANDS PAIN AND SACRIFICE: musings.#okay but this made me laugh so hard just because of how much it reminds me of misao JSJSJ LOL because she has had like casual 'flings'-#with people and is an addictive personality as i've talked about here once which includes her being a love junkie + getting into-#relationships with people because she is in love with the IDEA of being in love though falling in love with someone can't just happen-#like magic as it involves a bunch of hormones and stuff but misao kind of somewhat hopes that this person of interest to her will somehow-#complete her life anyhow which... yeah can definitely raise a few problems as people with a love addiction often attract love-#avoidant people because both of these types of people generally have a fear of being abandoned and controlled.#but whenever it comes to love-avoidant individual's they're also emotionally unavailable so 😬#it's unfortunately kinddd of a recipe for an unhealthy relationship that could very well lead to the both of them being in a bad place-#once they break up as misao as a love addict is constantly seeking out new love in particular as a lot of excitement and good feelings-#come with this particular type of love in particular. so yeahhh - i know that this may be a bit of a weird picture to do a meta to but-#SHHH lol i just thought it could possibly relate to her more long-term relationships that she's had with people as misao-#tends to avoid feelings of vulnerability with people as you may all know and so this leads to both her + the other person not really-#knowing what they are BC they haven't really established that deeper connection even though they've been together for a while.#not to say that i'm trying to blame misao for having problems with opening up or anything like that but she has a very disorganized-#attachment style i think and that leads to her often doing this continuous 'push and pull' thing in her romantic/sexual ships #where one moment she will want to be attached to the hip to them but the next she will be cold and distant from them.#so yeahhh. misao is honestly kind of like what i've said barton is before: a cake inside of a cake because i feel like she's got sides of-#herself that she doesn't even know about because she's been scared of being fully emotionally vulnerable with someone for a while now sadly #NO SLEEP OF THE INNOCENT. living in texas is insane not only because of the racism, queerphobia, & misogyny that is far too prevalent (ESPECIALLY in the government, in part due to the extreme voter suppression) but also because one time they let 250 people freeze to death all because state republicans didn't want federal regulation of the power grid. and then they just, moved on like nothing had really happened...

#sorry I was just thinking about this again like. that was insane!!!#like climate change has weakend the polar jet stream and all that leading to more extreme winter storms in texas #and yet they were warned this could happen and they did nothing!!!#i live in an area that wasn't on the texas grid but connected to the midwest grid so we made it through okay #but now we have switched to the texas grid since then because our city didn't want to fix up the old power plants or build a new one #so now every time it's really hot or cold over a large area I get an email from a state agency sayingnhey the grid might fail btw watch out!

Hey besties spur of the moment thing but do me a favor and read this article to get an overview of radiation experiments in the US (that we know of) because it's literally feeding-babies-plutonium sci-fi villain shit that's a thousand times worse than MKUltra and the Tuskegee experiments that's public knowledge and has been for longer than probably most of you have been alive and yet I've literally never heard anyone talk about it.

My family has a bunch of real fucked up disabilities and conditions that are all genetic wonders on their own and it's probably because our grandfathers were in the military and/or from any other ancestor that might have been one of the millions of people purposefully infected, since while they targeted poor poc and disabled people heavily they also just released radiation willy-nilly over towns basically for funsies.
