eustass kid is angry. he's angry that he developed a crush on you. it's so stupid, he thinks. so outta character.

everyone on the victoria punk knows it, including you. and much to kid’s dismay, so does killer. killer talks to him about it everyday, trying to coax a confession out of him in the most gentle yet firm way he can. he wants his captain to be happy, and he knows that you can make him happy, because you already do without knowing it.

kid is completely docile in your presence, and protective. he’s more quiet, because he wants to hear what you have to say. he’s around more, because he wants to keep an eye on you. and maybe because he likes being in your presence.

kid tells (threatens) the rest of his crew that, even though they’re like brothers to him, they’ll be ripped to shreds if any of them so much as glance at you the wrong way.

luckily for you and unluckily for him, you’d heard his very public threat to the kid pirates, save for you. 

you ask kid what the hell all that was about and he simply shrugs, rolling his eyes and trying but failing to keep his cool. you scoff and chuckle at his indignance. you continue to press him till he finally gets annoyed and locks eyes with you, his pupils dilated and his lips spread out into a crazy grin.

“jus’ claiming what’s mine.”

monkey d luffy is seeking out the smartest person he knows, and once he sees her, he’s barreling toward her at lightning speed. hands appear, arising from the wood of the sunny’s deck and forming a net right in front of robin, effectively catching luffy and recoiling him flat onto his butt.

“robin! what was that for?” luffy whines, adjusting his straw hat and tilting it back so that he can look at robin.

“i’d prefer to not be crashed into, captain.” robin shuts her book and gives luffy a gentle, almost maternal smile. “now, what has you so excited?”

luffy is thoughtful as he opts to lay back down on the deck, tilting his straw hat over his face to shield his eyes from the sun. he’s not excited, kinda confused, actually. 

he’s good with his feelings, because he knows his feelings. he's familiar with them. but these feelings—the ones he's been feeling for the past couple of weeks or so—are new. he doesn’t know them, but he wants to learn about them. so here he is, ready to learn with the smartest person he knows.

“well…i wouldn’t call it excited, ya know?” luffy stretches his arms overhead before folding them behind his head. robin chuckles quietly, already aware of luffy’s feelings before he'd even realized them himself.

“what would you call it then?” robin asks patiently.

“like…i dunno! it’s different! it’s different with ‘em…” luffy trails off, sinking back into his thoughts.

“different with who?”

“y/n!” luffy chirps, feeling himself smile at the mention of your name. “i’m really happy they’ve joined the crew!”

“happy like…you’re happy that i joined the crew?” 

“nuh uh, like…i always wanna be near ‘em. i like when they laugh, when they’re happy. their smile’s real nice, too.” luffy pauses. “it’s a lot of fun to be alone with ‘em! makes me feel good…”

robin takes her time explaining what these feelings mean, that that bubbly, queasy feeling in his stomach was not, in fact, indigestion. once robin’s words seep into luffy’s thick, rubber skull, he jumps up off the deck and wraps robin in a tight hug, grinning the whole time and whisper yelling i gotta go tell ‘em!

luffy finds you instantly, almost like his body contains a homing device that always leads to you. you notice way too late that you are in the direct path of the tornado that is luffy, and he tackles you, causing you to fall back. luffy is quick to catch you, stretching an arm around your waist and bringing you to his chest, looking at your face with such intensity you can’t keep your face from heating up.

you’re breathless. due to the adrenaline from almost cracking your skull against the wood of the ship, and from the i’ve got feelings for ya! robin says they're love feelings! do you feel the same? that rushed out of luffy’s mouth.

roronoa zoro is confused. honestly, more confused than he’s ever been in his life. then he’s annoyed. why did he have to develop feelings for a crewmate, let alone you? it would just get in the way of everything. he wants to focus on his dream, on luffy’s dream, and sometimes even on sanji’s dream.

he doesn’t consider himself a particularly selfish person, but he wanted to focus on himself first. 

but then he sees you smile. he hears you laugh. he watches you work and hone your craft, a look of ecstatic determination on your face and the tip of your tongue peeking out between your pursed lips as you focus. suddenly, he realizes it’s really not about him anymore. it’s about you.

he starts to avoid you like the plague—he figures that if he can’t see you, you can’t see him. but he’s oh so wrong. 

when you decide you've had enough of this, you stop zoro, your hand gripping his shoulder and pulling as hard as you can. zoro raises an eyebrow at you and turns around, crossing his arms and waiting for you to explain yourself.

“you’ve been avoiding me.” you state, leaving no room for disagreement or excuses.

“says who?” zoro is very good at playing dumb.

“says me. and luffy.” you huff a bit as you remember your encounter with your captain. how his lips had twisted to the side and how his eyes had shot up to the sky when you’d asked what zoro’s problem was.

“luffy doesn’t know—”

“know why you’ve been avoiding me?” you step closer to zoro, your eyes locked on his and staring into his soul, searching for answers. “i’m sure we’d both love to know.”

zoro scoffs and rolls his eyes, taking a step back from you and turning his face to the sea. the cool ocean breeze feels nice against his burning face. he grimaces as he turns back to you, figuring he might as well get this over with.

“ilikeyou.” zoro mumbles, the words rushing out of his mouth and stopping quickly as they had started.

you shake your head and lean closer to zoro, turning your head to the side so his lips are inches away from your cheek. 

“can you repeat that, please, roronoa?”

“i like you.” zoro says the three, short, quipped words. he’s frowning and his arms are crossed and pulled tightly against his chest, in hopes to dampen the hammering of his heart.

trafalgar d water law is no stranger to stuffing his feelings deep inside of his chest and leaving them there to rot. so he’s wondering why in the fresh hell these annoying feelings for you keep resurfacing. they crawl up his esophagus and reflux into his mouth, leaving a bitter taste behind and making him scowl every time he feels them. 

and to you, it seems as though every time the two of you lock cross paths, he narrows his eyes at you and stalks away. he rarely talks to you anymore, although the conversations you'd shared before were usually very short, yet somehow still meaningful.

you decide to confront him about it, byway of bepo, who happened to know exactly why law was seemingly scarce around you. 

“c-captain? our captain?” bepo stutters, bringing his paw up to his mouth and feigning surprise. “wow! i have no clue why he’d do something like that!”

you frown at bepo. it’s painfully obvious he knows everything about the answer to your question. “spill it, bepo.”

bepo starts to make gestures with his hands and little struggle noises with his mouth. he has no clue how to get out of this one. so he does, indeed, spill it. 

a few minutes later, after bepo was done with his rambling and law’s confession, you approach law with a smug smile on your face.

it doesn’t take a genius to be able to tell why you’re smirking like that, and law immediately pinches the bridge of his nose and tilts his head down.

“that damn bear…”

usopp is sweaty. he’s sweaty, he’s wringing his hands, twirling his hair around his fingers, readjusting his goggles on top of his head. he can’t sit still. he’s been thinking about how on earth to deal with his feelings: does he just shove 'em deep down inside or does he shout 'em from the crow’s nest? he hasn’t had romantic feelings for anyone since he left kaya, and he simply cannot deal. 

“usopp…” nami says softly, touching usopp on the shoulder. he jumps, then flinches at his overreaction to his best friend’s simple and gentle gesture. “can you just tell them, please?”

“n-no! why should i?” usopp frowns at nami and furrows his eyebrows, knowing full well that it’d be best for his health and the crew’s sanity to just come out and tell you.

“if you don’t…” nami grins at him, slowly and mischievously, “i’ll tell them myself.”

usopp immediately springs up from his chosen sulking location and mutters an okay, okay! behind him as he leaves nami. he’s back to sweating, wringing his hands, playing with his hair, and fidgeting with his goggles.

you notice usopp looking particularly dreadful and wait for him to get closer to your position on the deck. you reach out and catch his hand, giving it a light tug so that he’s moving closer to you. he seems so deep in thought that he doesn’t even notice.

“usopp?” you tug on his hand twice, trying to get his attention. usopp meets your gaze and stares at you blankly before shaking his head and becoming aware of the situation. he tries to withdraw his hand from your grip but you’re holding on tightly, and he realizes he’s trapped.

“y/n! fancy seeing you here!” usopp laughs loudly, trying to mask the way that he’s absolutely crumbling and melting.

“what’s on your mind, usopp?”

“you.” usopp covers his mouth with his free hand immediately after the words come out of his mouth. what was he thinking, being so forward? he quickly looks away from you, directing his eyes to the clouds above. “i mean, nami was talking about you earlier. that’s why i’m thinking about you. no other reason!”

a small smile spreads across your lips. “oh, yeah. she told me something super interesting about you earlier today…” you say, drawing out the last few syllables and relishing in the way usopp looks at you in utter horror.

“nami told you that i like you?” he breathes.

“no, but you just did.”

vinsmoke sanji is aware that he actually likes you. that you're not just another pretty face he admires. he’s always known you were gorgeous, the apple of his eye, the object of his affection. you never noticed that it different, though. thinking back on it, you’re glad that you didn’t notice, because you might’ve thought it meant something bad. quite the contrary, in fact.

sanji knows he loves you when he feels calm in your presence. when he’s not acting like a fan boy and when he spends hours talking with you while he cooks or does the dishes or plans the crew's next meal. you’re always around, and yet, he’s never nervous. 

when he really realizes it, though, it’s when he catches a glimpse of nami’s naked silhouette through the crack in the bathroom door and he doesn’t even flinch. not a tingle, not a single palpitation. it’s not you, and his heart knows it, so he’s calm. this is when he knows he has to confess.

“y/n…darling…” sanji says, grasping your hands in his own and looking you in the eyes. “i have to tell you something—something i’ve never told anyone before.”

you look at him, an eyebrow raised in skeptical curiosity. sanji looks worried, and he almost never looks worried. your mind is going a mile a minute, your brain flipping through pages and pages of things he could possibly say to you within the next minute. because of this, you miss the way sanji squeezes your hands, and the way he sucks in a deep breath.

“i’m in love with you.”

I LOVE whenever Joyce is angry this season. Now that’s how you demand. Straight to the point, justified in her worry, and cutting past any unnecessary bs while still including the cherry on top “please” or “good day” of politeness out of basic decency. I want to be her when I’m upset.

I’m always so blown away by Maya’s performance when she comes out to Steve. Straight (haha) through the heart, so good. And I always, always smile at Steve’s reaction. So in character, so accepting. No questioning if she’s being honest, just immediately questioning her type and believing that she’s into girls. So, so important.

Oh, no. Holly saw the trees moving in the woods. Thus far, she’s noticed the demogorgon coming out of the wall, and now this. She’s definitely a target next season.

When El tells Billy the memory of his mom, I teared up a little! Something about the way that El says, “you were happy” breaks me, dude. Millie and Dacre did so well.

Also, thinking in foresight of s4, Max’s letter is so heartbreaking. The Mind Flayer made a huge show of killing Billy slowly and painfully. I don’t blame her for being too horrified to move. It really wasn’t her fault. That was traumatic. Sadie did amazing there, too. Ouch.

I’m never getting over the helicopter lights being blue, yellow, and red. Were starboard and port always blue and red? And isn’t starboard supposed to be green? It’s all intentional, I’m telling you

I love how Max and Lucas are supposed to be “butchering” Never Ending Story but those two theater kids actually sound amazing. I just wish they harmonized 😆

This has been my s3 thoughts for the 6-8th time watching? I forget? And I missed a number of moments because I got too absorbed so, oops. Anyway, I love Jancy, I love Jopper, I love the Scoops Troop, I love Suzie, I miss Alexi, Byler is endgame, and this season was way more fun than I remembered and it always makes me laugh. My list of favorite seasons has been shaken expertly.

Lol in “The Challenge,” Penelope is like oh wow I never thought I would resort to this! Lying! Sneaking around! But I’m doing it so I’m not forced into a marriage!”

Meanwhile Odysseus has been out Ruthlessly killing people 😆 It makes me want a reprise of this song where they get to interact with each others’ ideas on the subject. I love that “Would You Fall in Love with Me Again” ends with them in unity together, but I do wish we got to have some interaction between their worldviews. Does Penelope think Odysseus made the right choice in killing the suitors?? Does she think he made the right choice in letting Zeus kill his men?

I felt like Penelope could provide a good middle ground. Odysseus has been very all or nothing when he’s trying to choose between Ruthlessness and Open Arms. Just because there are some cases when you need to be Ruthless doesn’t mean you should never show mercy, and just because you want to have Open Arms doesn’t mean it’s safe or wise to have them for everyone at all times.

I don’t believe Penelope would be angry with Odysseus at all for making tough choices that led him back to her. But would she feel like it was justified to kill all of the suitors when Odysseus just being on the island again largely fixed the problems she had been facing? What would Odysseus have said when confronted about it? I think that would be something super interesting to explore and I wish we could have had a song devoted to it!

They’re angry

Yeah Aries is ruled by Mars, and Mars helps us feel the anger that allows us to establish our boundaries. So not gonna say there’s nothing to this one. But to me, Aries are passionate in most of my experiences with them. People who are fake might piss them off, but otherwise the energy can actually be really chill a lot of the time when it’s healthy, because it’s authentic. Particularly angry Aries probably feel very conflicted in themselves.

Taurus ♉️

They’re boring

I guess if your idea of boring is someone that tends to wanna be physically more stationary, then yes this can hold true for someone really feeling their Taurus placements. But to me, I have never met a person with prominent Taurus influence that is boring. They notice so much about their physical surroundings and tend to have lots of weird little quirks developed in the name of protecting their resources, providing for themselves, or beauty. Very interesting people to my Scorpio Moon and Pluto. 🧐

Gemini ♊️

They’re two-faced

I think in a lot of cases where Gemini might appear to be giving conflicting information to different people or saying different things at one time vs another, it’s not an intentional effort to manipulate or be someone they’re not. They just process so much information and mentally they move so rapidly from one area of focus to another, that they might not even be giving themselves the proper time and in depth exploration to truly understand how they view something. Machiavellian Geminis do exist, but it’s more common that if Gemini seems to be showing different sides, that the duality is just how they authentically process life within.

They’re sweet! (I think this warrants an ! because I have special insider status 🌞)

The Moon ruled crabs are protective 🦀 I know it’s not just me. You’d think this would be one of the first things discussed with Cancer, due to the images of a crab with its shell, plus the way the Moon rules over the night when it feels less safe out. Often times Cancer energy does not read as very inviting to just anyone! If the energy is unhealthy it can even be one of the most toxic in the bunch from how I see it. But don’t generally expect it either way to just be really warm and sweet to anyone. They show their nurturing side to their close kin.

Leo ♌️

They’re attention seekers

This one comes from a pretty personal place with me too, as Leo Venus and Mars. Soo many stereotypes especially about Leo Venus being an attention seeker in love. But my Leo Venus journey has actually looked way more like focusing on learning how to find self love and the ability to validate myself. Leo is a fire 🔥 sign and the objective for fire is exercising independent individuality. Yes, sometimes Leo energy is what you would clearly call the notion of true attention seeking (where it’s specifically the reactions of others that they crave). Sometimes they’re just boldly exercising their self expression though.

Virgo ♍️

They’re super organized

Some are, in ways that can be observed in their physical environments. But if you’ve ever wondered why some actually seem the exact opposite of organized in their physical environments, I believe it’s because Virgo, ruled by Mercury, is a very mental energy. They’re up in their heads trying to find order so much that it may never translate to their physical surroundings, as they may be depleting their own energy and will to act with their inner critic. Not to mention Virgo is a mutable sign, and some form of chaos tends to exist with all of them. 😆 I think my 6th house gives me some understanding of Virgos I wouldn’t have otherwise, and I feel what a mental experience it can be!

Libra ♎️

They’re balanced/fair

Lol I’m sorry I’m nitpicking something positive with this one, I’ll blame it on the South Node in Libra as this current transit has people needing to give consideration to the less evolved sides of Libra! Yes, healthy Libra energy tries to be as balanced and reciprocal as possible. That is the objective of Libra. But when at any point Libra energy is unhealthy, its keen sense of the scales can be used to intentionally tip things in their favor. Another unhealthy expression of Libra energy that we hear more is giving too much to others, but I want to bring attention to a less talked about unhealthy expression of using charm to gain more from someone than they are willing to give back to that person. Libra is ruled by Venus after all, and Venus doesn’t tend to be hesitant to accept special treatment. Omg I just never understood this one from a personal perspective, as a Scorpio Moon. It seems maybe the people who see it this way are people who themselves aren’t very Scorpionic. Scorpio energy with its intensity might not feel safe opening up to them. But with me, while obviously not all experiences with Scorpios have been the same, there has never been a sign that has voluntarily opened up and shared about the depths of their life more rapidly, more times than I’ve experienced it with Scorpio. Depending where/how placed of course, some also make their taboos known to the general public. Pluto is both what is hidden and what is revealed, and the compulsion of Scorpio can sometimes be to reveal things, if they personally can see them. Not to mention Scorpio is co-ruled by Mars, and that’s an energy that is very up front.

Sagittarius ♐️

They can’t commit

Identifying how they personally view and understand things is very important to Sagittarius, so if they find something or someone they believe in, they could remain loyal with their views and dedication to almost a fault. I guess this stereotype comes from the way that fire is independent, and mutable signs can have fluctuating focuses. But valuing independence just means a Sag could be very happy to commit to a partner who also values it. And as Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter, the fluctuation of Sagittarius as a mutable sign feels a little different to me, because Jupiter also tends to have a keen interest in establishing its worldviews.

Capricorn ♑️

They’re mean

The energy of Capricorn can be serious (although that’s also what makes some of them the most hilarious people; having developed humor as a coping mechanism to offset their seriousness) and can seem a little harsh to those expecting bubbly treatment. For this reason it tends to just feel more grounded and real to me though. Any sense of coldness that you could get from a Capricorn who has a healthy relationship with their energies does not read to me as mean! It reads as solemn and focused on realness.

I personally haven’t observed this one much. Pisces can seem non-confrontational and agreeable, but I usually read that they keep the core essence of their authenticity across dealings with different people. It’s just that their authenticity might actually be expressed in the way that they can appreciate so many different ways to be and live. That Pisces who seems like they’re just acting interested in what you’re interested in to please you might actually be really interested in what makes you tick. Some may act chameleon-like for personal gain or only to avoid conflict, but an evolved Pisces understands that they’re one with everything so truly is interested in the views, loves, and ways of others.

In reference to you post about Bo-Katan, she actually IS older. She's canonically in her mid-50s and has been trying to reclaim Mandalore multiple times since her early adulthood. Thats why its so baffling to me that they recharacterized her in season three because she should have been angry and betrayed the people she has been fighting alongside with since before the clone wars abandoned her and nobody bothered to stand by her side. Her ambition left her all alone in a castle she owned which says a lot about how she grew up privileged while other mandalorians like Din's covert had to hide in sewers just to avoid being hunted down.

Yeah that’s what I’m saying, I knew she was supposed to be older and that IS what I wanted to see! If you’re going to include a character from a different medium and consider that medium canon you gotta commit! Show me a character with history! I can to an extent understand wanting the voice actress to reprise the role in the live action, but like. You can still make her look older and grittier and more jaded and it’s not going to compromise her performance 😆

But yeah my gripes with Schroedinger’s continuity/canon aside, she just isn’t characterized consistently even within this one show. Why set her up to be the antagonist to the Darksaber plotline only to have her turn around and not care about it, but also why do you have her annoyed at Mando and literally saying that if she sees him again she’ll kill him, only for her to pull a complete 180 and go save him?? Why does she care? If you say she only went to the mines to retrieve the sword from him, why did she save him from the water when she literally could have just grabbed the sword and left? Why does Mando bring her back to the covert, why does she even AGREE to go back to the covert, why does she suddenly abide by their rules despite insulting them and calling them a cult when she literally didn’t have to be there, why do we need to see some ooc romantic/fealty subplot shoehorned in, WHY IS SHE BEING GIVEN ALL ALL OF MANDO’S MAIN CHARACTER BEATS OF THE SEASON

Reader on the other hand is dutifully fulfilling their role as sylvain’s fiancé as they don’t want any of their siblings to suffer in their place. Reader cooks sylvain’s favorite food, invites him for teas and all kinds of couple activities. Sylvain being himself decides to flirt with other girls despite having a fiancé already and is skirt chaser with new girls every week just to spite reader and his father. Seeing how their fiancé doesn’t even respect them as a person and is often caught in indecent scandals, reader is hurt as they’re the only ones trying to make something good in the unfortunate situation but is hated by sylvain. One day reader after being stood up by sylvain once again is comforted by one of the kinder students (ashe, dedue or ignatz even) and they fell genuinely in love with the student. How does sylvain feel that reader is no longer trying to make the relationship work and is now interested in other men and frankly speaking replace him in their heart? How would he get the reader back?

- Verosika finally dropping the pronounced O from Blitzo’s name. Never once does Blitzo call her on it like he does everyone else, so the fact that she does it on her own says a lot about how healing their conversation was for her and I love that for her.

- honestly it didn’t even occur to me that Blitzo should have told Stolas about the assassination attempt. So when he let it slip, I was completely blindsided as well as delighted. I genuinely don’t think Blitzo MEANT to keep it from Stolas; I think he just didn’t think about it, for all the reasons he mentions regarding Stolas’ hardiness. (ADHD coded Blitzo in the house lol)

- really would like to know if all Lust demons are called succubi for ease purposes, or if Better Than Blitzo Guy is an incubus (insert obligatory “wouldn’t it be fun to play with the terms succubus/incubus on a sexual dynamic scale rather than a gender scale” discussion here)

- Blitzo seems to be speaking really slowly for him when he’s raging about Stolas getting kissed, which makes me think he’s REALLY angry; reminds me of when he’s telling Striker to “get his shit-stained claws” off Fizz, just a drawl that feels so much more angry than his usual fast pace.

- cannot stress enough how even when they’re in the middle of fighting, Blitzo keeps trying desperately to bring their relationship back to sex bc he wants his status quo back, bc that’s still the only reason he can think of that Stolas would want him. Why ANYONE would want him. I need Ghostfuckers to BREAK HIM. I want that man sobbing his guts out and then picking himself up and looking himself in the mirror and wanting to change for himself as much as for the people he loves. You can do it, Blitzo, I believe in you.

- look guys I have zero doubts in my mind that Stolas and Blitzo together are endgame. I have equally as few doubts about the fact that it ain’t gonna be this season. Prepared to be pleasantly surprised! (Though I can’t deny that having half to a full season of mutual pining while working together and taking things slow and steady would be my ideal scenario tbh. Blitzo chewing his desk to bits over Stolas’ cute secretary glasses pls)

- as someone else pointed out…“I sorried Fizz so hard he CRIED!” Blitzo YOU cried, you over-emotional projector, you.

- the more we see about Blitzo and his past relationships and his current wants, the more obviously his deflection of “relationships are boring, I’m doing everyone a favor” rings so hollow, so much like a kid telling himself he doesn’t want that lollipop anyway because he’s never going to have it and it’s less painful to be the one rejecting than to be rejected. He’s cracking, but I need that walnut BROKEN OPEN. Bleed out all that venom, let the bone set and heal properly this time.

- GOSH I hope Vassago can be a genuine friend to Stolas, both because Stolas needs it, and because I love Harvey Guillen to bits and am so excited to meet his character 😆

- The way she treats all of them like family and helps them and puts her life on the line for them. It is just so satisfying to see her relationship with the Batch continue to develop like this. Truly family to all of them.

HALLO! thankyou for the ask.. a have a couple, clementine for obvious reasons, she’s the goat. her character is so strong and soo well written. seeing her grow up and develop makes any sane person enjoy her, she’s awesome. i don’t think i need to explain much further, i could go on and on but no one will disagree with me so no one needs to hear it. heh.

other than clem i really (really) like violet, i love her… so. much.. her being “mean” and cold is one of the reasons why i like her as much as i do, she has so much to her if you break down her character. people dull her down to this mean harsh person that was an after thought of a love interest and has no place acting the way she does, she acts the way she does because she’s realistic, her lines and emotions are so well thought out. she’s so sweet and cheesy i fear im going to implode, the way she acts around clementine is soo 😆😆 i love clemvi so much, i think it’s sooo perfect and cute and oh wow. the dialogue options you get in like every violentine scene are so cute.. it makes me SICK. i think i’m pretty normal about them.. people who dont like vi see her and never try to understand her. when they see she gets angry and frustrated at clementine when you choose to save louis instead they say how awful she is and that why couldn’t she just be an exact copy paste of louis and that louis is better and vi is bad and this and that. if i let someone steal you, lock you up and then expect you to kiss my ass when i come save you how ever many hours later, do you think you would be able to think rationally (in that time where you are filled with so much adrenaline and fear of your safety) or do you think you would act realistically, lose control of your emotions and lash out without thinking. whatever if you’re such a hero sure you can say that you’d think rationally BUT DO NOT CALL VIOLET A VILLAIN BECAUSE SHE GETS MAD you just cannot bare to see a girl let her emotions do the talking in an apocalypse can you. people are such haters. Y/N can’t sleep.

Well, that’s one way to say her problem. It’s 12 am and all she could think about is a nice bowl of black bean ramen. But, she doesn’t want to cook, she’s too lazy to cook. And what better way than to ask someone else to cook it for her?

By someone else, she meant her roommate, Atsumu.

Here’s the thing, though, Atsumu is probably asleep by now, and waking him up would be a suicide mission. Not only does he sleep like a log, but when Atsumu wakes up, he’s the grumpiest person on earth.

But, no one’s stopping Y/N now, she’s already on her way to Atsumu’s room to wake him up and “ruin” his night. She opens his bedroom door, and there he is, deep in his sleep.

‘He’s probably in dreamland right now.’ Y/N thinks.

Y/N had a wonderful idea to wake Atsumu up, and of course, it’s blasting EDM music in his ear at maximum volume.

You bet Atsumu woke up.

“Y/N? What the hell? Why are you here? And most importantly, why are you blasting music in my ear at midnight?” He says furiously.

Y/N just smiled cheekily. She knows that Atsumu isn’t actually mad at her, maybe a little annoyed, but never angry.

“I’m hungry, can you make me ramen, please?”

Y/N pleaded cutely, making sure to stretch that ‘please’ so Atsumu would give in.

“No.” Atsumu responded.

“Pretty, please?” At this point, Y/N is begging for Atsumu to cook for her, but Atsumu doesn’t even look one bit fazed.

“Why don’t you cook your own, Y/N? Come on, it’s 12 am, I need to sleep.” Atsumu says flatly.

Queue Y/N pouting. “Tsk. Fine.” She says and went out of Atsumu’s bedroom.

Y/N looks like a child not given candy during halloween right now. She’s pouting, brows furrowed, and stomping her way to the kitchen.

‘Of course he wouldn’t agree, Y/N. What were you even thinking? It’s 12:51 am.’ She thinks.

Y/N was having a hard time finding a pot, so she didn’t hear Atsumu entering the kitchen, his hands inside his pockets. He leans in the wall, just watching Y/N struggling to find a pot, with a smirk on his lips.

“I’ll do it.” Someone says.

‘Hm? Atsumu?’ She thinks.

She looked behind her only to see Atsumu smiling at her.

“Hey bub, sorry about earlier, you just surprised me, that’s all.” Atsumu apologizes.

“I’ll make you ramen?”

“Yes, please.”

“Black bean?”

“Black bean.”

I would like to know your opinion on something. So, I've always loved Tom Cruise, ever since I was a kid. I never cared much about Hollywood, but I always loved Tom, his films marked my childhood and adolescence and his personal story inspired me. But, now as an adult, knowing all the other things he does in his personal life, Scientology, abandoning his child and all the drama he caused because because of it only leaves me with a bitter taste in my mouth. And it's not something that should be avoided or ignored, it's too important for that. I feel like the moment you try to “forget” about it just makes you as trashy as he is. That naive admiration I had when looking at him before just doesn't exist anymore and it's kind of depressing. But even so, I like interacting with content about him, in a way, I still feel a little of that nostalgia and feelings that I had when watching his films again. Being his fan, how do you feel?

Ooh I really love this question! I am a fan and have been since I was a kid! The original Top Gun was like a yearly family movie night at our house so there is definitely some nostalgia surrounding it, as well as many of his other films.

I can’t say I love Tom for the person he is because I don’t know him. But I do admire what he’s done for the movie industry. When I say I love him, I mean it in a very surface level way (his films, his arms 🥵, his charisma).

However, I’d be lying if I said that his personal life/choices didn’t bother me. And I agree that it’s so disappointing because it absolutely affects how I feel about him and almost puts a threshold on how much I can like him.

That being said, as much as I don’t understand his actions, the fact that I don’t personally know him makes it harder to pass judgement and makes me wonder if I even should. I admit I don’t read a lot of tabloids/gossip so I may not know everything you know, but I sometimes wonder if he’s not a victim. I personally have known several people brainwashed by various cults to the point where extracting them became extremely dangerous and nearly impossible. Cults are also known to blackmail people to keep them from leaving and he strikes me as someone with a lot to lose. For all we know, he decided to abandon his daughter for her own safety. Again, I don’t know many details so, if you know for a fact that I’m wrong, let me know!

Truthfully, I like to pretend that he’s stuck just for my own peace of mind, even though I know it’s naive 😅 However, I also am a believer in separating artists from their work. I love Earnest Hemingway as an author, even though he was a notorious misogynist. Some of his works make me extremely angry, but I fucking love the way he writes 😭 HP is another example. I’ve always loved Harry Potter, but not JK for obvious reasons. I think Axl Rose is one of the most talented musicians ever despite him being a complete asshole according to many, many people. Basically, I allow myself to love the artists’ works without actually loving the artists.

And I do love Tom’s work. Which makes me a fan, not necessarily of him as a person, but of him as an artist. I may be a little obsessed with how he looks because have you seen him?? But I absolutely agree with you that I am often conflicted in terms of how much I can like someone who is potentially a shitty human being.

Phew that was a lot! Hopefully I didn’t ramble too much. Thanks for making me think this hard on a Monday 😆

I really liked the chapter because it leaves the door open to many things, especially the paper birds, which i feel like it allowed Katsuki to have a clue about Izuku's magical nature, i think that if he connected the things that have happened and the things that Izuku knows or has, Katsuki might realize, although Izuku is a great actor and liar, i feel like it plays an important factor that it is a difficult reality to accept that he has magic, especially for Katsuki, so it will be interesting to see him try to decipher Izuku, literally making a parallel to what Izuku started doing in the beginning of the story.

I'm curious, izuku seems to be unaware of his feelings but Katsuki on the other hand, I'm curious if Katsuki is aware yet or is this something that you will answer in later chapters? Causeee, what was with all that flirting??????

Nah i'm still shocked, thanks Yagi for this gift, he really must have been sick of this push and pull dance that they had between them. JAJAJAJ They are taking baby steps (finally!)

I'm excited to see more of Katsuki (and Izuku) flirting. It'll be really fun to see how the others in Camelot react (I doubt they'll be surprised). I'm glad they've made progress. I like how throughout their argument, they slowly grew closer as they revealed their truths.

Katsuki is really soft, I understand totally why Izuku was so mad with Katsuki for speaking bad of Katsuki 🤣. He was angry about that than when Katsuki cut him off.

Y’know, objectively Izuku and Katsuki are veryyy smart people. But in two very different ways.

I think Katsuki is smart at understanding what ppl (mainly Izuku) are feeling, and what he himself is feeling too. Through the course of the story he has become very in tune with his emotions and desires. But when it comes to the most OBVIOUS signs of what’s happening more broadly, it completely flies under his radar. Because he’s not LOOKING for magic I don’t think he catches on that Izuku literally conducted the seance. And the bird! With everything in the forest getting all wonky he just doesn’t question it. Or does he? I feel like NOT realising what kind of a man his “father” was, not realsing Himiko’s magic, his own parentage, and then finding out he didn’t realise Izuku’s fucked up self-image, might cause him to open his eyes more.

Meanwhile Izuku’s a real detective. He watches with his eyes: he found out he’s a heretic, he found out about Katsuki’s parentage, and he routinely solves mysteries. But he doesn’t know a THING about his own feelings, and absolutely nothing about Katsuki’s internal thought process. All he knows about Katsuki is what he can see: his expressions, his words, his habits. Almost like a puzzle, he wants to unravel him but Izuku can only go so far with this method, which he has also realised in the forest I think.

Which leads me to your next question: AHHH I’m so torn 😖 on one hand I wanna leave the readers at the mercy of Izuku POV and keep you guys in the dark about Katsuki’s feelings as long as Izuku’s in the dark, but I’m soooo tempted. I guess the above explanation is a bit of a clue 👀 And another clue: Katsuki being good at understanding Izuku’s emotions was developed throughout ch1-10, as he learned to free himself from his own stormy emotions and angry impulses. I guess this is because just as Katsuki is the first person who becomes a constant in Izuku’s life (who is is his age, so discounting Yagi and Inko), Izuku is the same for him: Katsuki’s first friend.

This was such a fun answer to write and I’ve accidentally inspired myself lol so I’m gonna go write ! 😆
