Steve’s starting to think he’s crazy. Billy finally feels safe around him, safe coming over when he has a split lip and a black eye, and he’ll curl up next to Steve on the couch.

And it’s crazy to think, even to imagine.

Billy’s sniffling, stifling sobs and scooting closer. And Steve is a monster because he would love to taste that split lip. Can’t unthink the thought now that he’s started, that he knows what it would taste like, Billy’s blood. Knows what the kiss would taste like, and once he knows he can’t stop craving a taste.

And the knowing is rending him to pieces because you don’t kiss your friends, you’re not supposed to do that when they’re hurt, when they’re crying.

But Steve knows. He knows what Billy’s kiss would be like. Could draw the moment as if from memory, right up until the moment when Billy would shove him away, hurt and scared again.

And so Steve just huddles a little closer on the couch. And tries to be a good friend.

I think the worst thing about writing is that I’m in dire need to write that slow burn Rafael Barba/Reader story, because apparently ya’ll are thirsty bitches for our sassy suspender wearing ADA and I’m willing to take one for the team.

I have a sort of plot, a vibe, and borderline personality disorder- enjoy the angst this is gonna bring.

monodeku AU / fic idea where people can fuse (like in steven universe, minus the gems) if they have a very strong emotional bond. the bond can be platonic or romantic.

Monoma and Izuku are in their second year of highschool, and they are friends (Monoma swears up and down that they aren't). they bonded over their shared appreciation for quirks, and they hang out occasionally to talk about quirk theories and journal together.

at some point, they are on patrol together and Izuku's danger sense goes off (not sure why yet. maybe something falling, like a light post) so in a slight panic, Izuku grabs Monoma to avoid the danger.

but then they accidentally fuse.

after the initial panic and confusion of "uh oh what how did we fuse" (mostly from Monoma), the two realize they need to head back to campus soon.

but the issue is, they don't know how to unfuse.

another thing, I came up with their fusion quirk! It's called "copy and paste". basically, it's like copy but the user can give someone else a copied quirk. the time limit still applies to both the copy and the paste, but the user can copy one person's quirk and paste it onto as many other people they want. they can't paste the same quirk onto someone who already has it, and they can only carry as many quirks as the original user can (like how Monoma can only carry 4 quirks at a time)

fic trope tiers 📈

Tagged by @landwriter (oh, ages ago, thank you!) and am now in a place where I could spend a good twenty minutes staring at this.

B and C tiers are entirely empty and I left out half the tropes because, let's be real, I'll read absolutely anything provided it's well written (with like one or two hard caveats) so I just put in the tropes that will make me click a story immediately, and on D-tier the ones I'll read pretty much only if a friend goes "no really this one fucks, Ban."

Special mentions to the slowest of slow-burn pining; long, plotty fics with good world-building; and really in-depth character work. (Also bang or die, which I included because once a Star Trek person, always a Star Trek person. Bang a gong, get it on, etc.)

I am just a tiny fool for a fic that goes: "I love you back, out of everyone, regardless of everything, specifically you and me," and then goes into a great deal of detail about what 'specifically you and me' means on a character level. And which takes about 50k to even think about getting to that point.

Let's not talk about what this says about me as a person.
