I thought of a fic you did awhile ago that I liked and then remembered the post had said there was another piece. I really wanted to read the rest, as well as the first one I had liked so much. I spent SO long searching through tags and tumblr trying to find it and couldn’t (I also didn’t know the name of the author). I finally happened across it through someone I follow that had reblogged it, and was blown away by how I liked it just as much as I remembered, and loved the other section too.

I’m never sure how to express these sorts of things, but I’ll try my best. Many authors have similar experiences… I can’t count the fics/writers I’ve kept track of so I can find one I really liked again. But no such joy would exist if you weren’t willing to share your work so selflessly… you impact sooo many people with YOU, how you write, how you dedicate to writing for October (how I’ll never know), how you give others the privilege of reading it without asking anything of them. It matters so much that you share these things with others and I know it brings joy to not just me. So… thank you.

This is the most wonderful message to receive. Thank you so much for taking the time to write this out for me! Sometimes, especially with the prompt events like in October, it can be easy to forget how much my writing can impact people, even though I know others writing does the same for me.
