brooks twins → still youtubers, the brooks twins were 3/5 of the janoskians (jai & luke brooks, beau brooks, daniel sahyounie, & james yammouni), an australian youtube comedy group that was active from 2011-2018 though i was only around from 2012-2014 (when jai brooks was dating ariana grande)

jc caylen → surprise! another youtuber! jc caylen was part of o2l (our2ndlife) a youtube collaboration channel on which each of the 6 members posted videos on a certain day in the week (mondays with connor, tuesdays with ricky, wednesdays with sam, thursdays with jc, fridays with trevi (my 2nd favorite member bc she participated on the x factor), saturdays with ricardo, and then they had surprise sundays every week) and i remember how much joy jc & the others always brought me with their silly videos

misha collins → up next, you might know him as the gay angel that was sent to superhell after confessing his love to the homophobic hunter on supernatural, it’s misha collins! basically misha was a huge source of comfort for me, and i even went around calling myself emmisha for almost two full years (cringe)

henrik holm → he played even bech naesheim in skam and my crush on him reached that level of ridiculousness where i actually tried my hand at learning norwegian (i can only remember how to introduce myself and some curse words i would make a great first impression on him)

min yoongi → okay so my baby steps into kpop happened through shinee’s sherlock, but i only got really invested when yoongi dropped agust d 1 because Holy Fuck y’know??

kim namjoon → oh man i remember thinking namjoon was cute and a very good leader and then BAM he dressed like THAT at the 2016 mma’s and i fell in love. hard

park seojoon → i started liking park seojoon whilst i was watching hwarang (you guessed it, i watched it bc of taehyung), although he wasn’t my favorite character by far, but he was very silly off camera & i liked that (i’m not that into him anymore tho </3)

kim seokjin → OH BOY LET ME TELL U i liked seokjin from the very beginning (i got to know bts in late 2014) and i always liked seeing him perform and be himself and god once i realized i had a crush on him it just hit me like a mf truck, and he’s still one of my favorite people to this day

jung hoseok → god fake love era hoseok really hits different.... also yes i know i have all of bts’ hyung line on my list BUT bts was a really big part of my life for almost 6 years soooo honestly they deserve it i still think they’re great guys

reading drown made me remember how much music personally means to me. i used to have a hard time sleeping back in 6th grade to the point that it badly affected my studies bc for some reason im wide awake at night, felt tired but still fully awake which made me unable to focus in school. so of course i researched what i can do since i didnt want to tell my parents (nasa google kaya lahat 😌) long story short, try listening to music daw 😭 so i did bUT since listening to music wasnt really my hobby, i didnt know what type i should start off and at that time, kpop just recently became big LMAO it was like around 2017 i think. so i liSTENED TO EXO since it was the group that i have been hearing around school AHAHAHAHA the song was baby, dont cry btw. it worked surprisingly, music does calm one's nerves. i didnt understand the lyrics ofc but just by the melody, it made everything around me peaceful. whenever i feel anxious, sad, or stressed, music is the way to go :"> SO EON STORY KO PANO AKO NAGING KPOP FAN 😭😭😭 parinig aq ng iyo po 🙇

There is nothing wrong with being a solo stan (as in only liking 1 group) as long as you are kind and courteous to other groups.

Also this post might not be for you.

But if you are a solo stan (usually starting with BTS) or just in need of finding new groups and thinking about spreading your wings here are some suggestions. 🙂

When I first got into kpop way back in the 2010 years I had no clue what I had stumbled on and I only liked 2 groups max for the longest time because I didnt know about any other groups. Since then I’ve come to love so many groups that I wish I knew about sooner.

Now mind you. I am primarily a boy group stan so there are not a lot of girl groups on her so please forgive me. -*edit I’ve decided to do a part 2 of just girl groups so stay tuned

-When they get old enough the members “graduate” and join other NCT sub-units

-Mark of NCT 127 was once the leader but he reached the age limit and “Graduated” and thus no longer apart of the group.

-Many fans detest this concept and wish SM to make them a fixed unit but that doens’t mean you can’t love OT6 or OT7 at the moment.

my experience at DAY6 Live & Meet in NA- NYC

Ok so up until I got to the venue, things were pretty bad. I was already running late cause of my exam, which is why I ended up switching my benefits, so  I went home to fix my make up but was in a rush that yo girl completely forgot her freaking eyebrows lolol so i was freaking out cause i’m meeting the loves of my life and i can’t show them eyebrow-less liz but there are stores everywhere in the city that i just quickly purchased something and ran to the venue in the disgusting, humid rainy weather where, clearly, non- new yorkers were walking like turtles but luckily i got to the venue about 10 minutes before the show started.. thank God

so Dowoon was the first to come out and he was all shy and smiles, and then wonpil came out in a suit and i was telling myself that i didn’t like where this was going and then freaking YOUNG K COMES OUT WITH A LOOSE TIE and by then, i’m pretty much only staring at him cause i’m in awe of his beauty once again that i didn’t even realize sungjin and jae came out.  The first song was I Wait & not even 5 minutes into the start of the show, this is what i get at the end of the song THE FIRST FREAKING SONG 

so i’m pretty much dead and then they performed Hunt next so about halfway into the song, I lift my cheap sign, with black ink cause this girl cannot afford color ink, which read “나 DAY6 음악 매일 듣고 YOUNG K 라는 가수 많이 좋아해" (”I listen to DAY6 everyday, I like a singer named Young K a lot” – in reference to this) and yo girl was looking at him and he saw my sign AND READ IT AND THEN MADE EYE CONTACT WITH ME AND SMILED LIKE dsjfksldjf this lasted almost 10 seconds

I WAS LITERALLY SCREAMING INSIDE BUT I SMILED BACK AT HIM AND YALL, WE HAD OUR MOMENT!! BUT LOWKEY, I WANTED TO ACTUALLY CRY AND LOOK AWAY BECAUSE I GOT SO SHY HAHAHA and so yeah, i’m pretty much dead only six minutes into the show but boy did this again towards the end of the show (which i didn’t catch on video) when i raised my sign during I Smile and he made eye contact with me again and kept smiling so i’m dead once again…………. 

some highlights during the q&a that i found cute: (i was mainly focused on youngfeel cause i was on their side and was deprived of young k when i went to their concert this past summer)  - young k saying “you guys (My Days) are adorable" WHEN HE’S REALLY THE ADORABLE ONE  - jae singing sunday morning  - young k stomping his feet like 3 times and being extra cute af and jumping up from his chair  - youngfeel hitting each other and young k telling wonpil to calm down  - young k forcing collapsedone to get up from his seat during the preference game - sungjin’s confidence when he speaks - dowoon saying he wants to be able to talk to a bear and sungjin imitates one  as always, their vocals were amazing and beautiful but i couldn’t really hear that well since so many people were screaming, but i’m glad we did since Young K said he was worried that NA My Days wouldn’t applaud them or be able to sing the lyrics but he said he was wrong, and the way jae said "beautiful" so sweetly when we sang his first verse in congratulations, and then Young K getting teary eyed by the end of I Smile.. everything was great  and during the “encore”,  Jae literally stood on the chair in the row behind mine and then stopped right in front of me to jump so girl’s gotta do what she gotta do and i jumped with him and now i’m still sore af. BUT AFTER BEING A FAN OF JAE FOR ALMOST 7 YEARS, AND SEEING HIM DEBUT AND ACCOMPLISH GOALS AND NOW COME TO PERFORM AT HIS HOMETOWN AS WELL AS MY HOMETOWN KSJF I SAY THIS ALL THE TIME BUT I REALLY AM A PROUD MAMA. After the show, I went up the stairs for hi-touch and I was so nervous and when I went up the stairs, Young K was first and I’m dead serious, he looked exactly like this ………… 

and i was honestly so intimidated cause he looks so .. fierce (? idk if that’s the appropriate word) and he was waiting because I had to walk up to the table they were behind and let’s be real, he does give off that cold vibe at first but anyways, i began walking up to him and his face suddenly brightened up like he remembered my sign or something and was smiling and leaned forward and looked me in the eyes while he was holding my hand with his hand WHICH IS ACTUALLY SO WARM, SMOL, AND SOFT LIKE WHAT THE …. I WAS DECEIVED BY THOSE PICTURES (but i’m still a hand stan) and he told me “thank you for coming” and tbh i don’t remember what i said to him but i think i told him “thank you so much, i love you” but idk why i said that when i had something else in mind and was planning on speaking to him in konglish but he didn’t let go or look away and actually didn’t let go till he gave YOU the chance to speak but honestly, i remember my moments with the other members but with young k, everything is such a blur. i was THAT nervous and just couldn’t make eye contact without wanting to look away cause he was THAT BEAUTIFUL AND SO SWEET lol and he said he got chubby but IF HE IS CHUBBY, IDK WHAT I AM CAUSE HIS FACE WAS LITERALLY THE SIZE OF MY FIST ……..  then I moved onto Dowoon and he just bowed slightly but I told him “수고했어요" (you worked hard) and moved on but he turned around to look at me again so I turned back and he said “huh? 오~” and smiled like he was so taken aback that I spoke Korean. Jae was next, ok i’m not that short or tall but i realized this before but jae is actually not as tall as i expected and he was so chill about it like he just grabbed my hand and held it almost as if i was his bro and said “thank you for coming” and my dumbass self just repeated him ……. so I moved onto Wonpil and told him “수고했어요" as well and he said “아! 감사합니다~!” in that dragged out adorable tone he uses all the time, and then I moved onto Sungjin and just as I remembered, his not so tall yet nicely built physique and his BEAUTIFUL EYES … I told him “수고했어요" as well and he made that usual face he makes when he’s thinking about something and said “오~~”, bowed, and smiled.  SO OVERALL, it was such an unforgettable memory and i’m honestly so proud of how far they’ve come, and am also so thankful that I get to listen to and support such beautiful and humble artists, and am also happy that I get to be in such a beautiful fandom who follow their artists and are also good singers, whether you’re in Korea or one of Jae’s kids overseas.  and if you read all of this, i’m sorry i wasted your time BUT I JUST LOVE YALL MY DAYS AND DAY6 OK GOODBYE  (Btw I took a few mainly Young K focused fancams that you can check out on my youtube if you want. )

so something (refer to the song he said suits myday) happened with jae recently and ive seen fans trying to defend him by @ing him and saying that they love him which is fine - great even! but what i dont approve is how everyone’s basically forgotten about the whole matter because they had concerts so instead of @-ing him and asking him to explain himself, they tell him what a great concert it was which is also great bc their concerts are honestly amazing. basically my pet peeve is when ppl dismiss the problematic action of some people just bc they like them.

another thing is that there were some fans who started guilting others for wanting to drop day6 completely because of what jae did and in my opinion i think it is totally cool to want to drop a group if they did smth bad like??? its ur life???? u can choose who you want to like. what is not cool is pulling out all the good things the person has ever done in their entire life and try to remind others about the positive sides of the person. yes. they’re an encouraging person, etc. but that does not cancel out the bad things they’ve done until they explain/apologise. what is infuriating is just the manner some people took it?? they literally went ahead and tweeted shit like “would your parents drop you if you did smth wrong?” and “you’re seriously gonna drop someone whos been nothing been nice because of one incident?” yes. people will and you dont have any fucking right to stop them? so dont go pulling out receipts.

another thing. its also okay to want to stan the whole group even if someone has done smth problematic. like? to me youre cool if youre able to see and acknowledge the bad shit someone has done and still stand by their side while educating them at the same time its nice to have faith in your idols. however, i wont say much when your idols dont respond and/or respond in a way that shows absolutely no remorse. its cool if you want to support them too, despite that.

they’re great ok ive talked abt them like 10 times in the span of 2 months but whatever folks

they’re super nice, kind and just all of the positive adjectives out there in the dictionary ...... they’ve helped me multiple times and they’re always there 2 lend me a listening ear (or in our case, eye lmao) idk??? im just super comfortable around them always and im honestly so thankful we became mutuals (and subsequently friends) last year!!!! i cant say a lot bc ill just get v repetitive but overall they’re an awesome friend and im glad we still communicate daily via twitter and sometimes our skype sessions even if they’re kinda awkward bc i never know when 2 talk bc im scared ill speak and theyll say smth and itll turn into a MESS which actually happened lmao

Asfgjk my first ask sent in without the part abt day6 that I added at the end 🙈 but I was saying that I'm really glad you're also a my day (ngl I thought sunday was a cute lil temporary fandom name but anyway :')). it kills me to see how underappreciated the band is, despite them being so freaking talented and amazing with the songs they produce. I've followed them since predebut and there hasn't been a single track that I've disliked in these past almost-2 years.(1/3)

(2/3)they're my permanent go-to no matter how I'm feeling, and honestly they're like a gem that I've kept in my heart. The way they treat music, and how they prefer small gigs over big festivals in order to be closer to their fans is so darn admirable, it's like you can tell that music is really a passion for all of them :') i got the honor to meet them up close at kcon last yr and saw them perform live as well and they definitely made my night (along with bts lol). I would say that I'm a wonpil

(3/3) stan too since his voice blew me away from the start but the love and respect I have for day6 as a whole tops the significance of that, and makes it something I rarely even think about :') Man I ranted but yeah a band/group like day6 is really hard to come by especially coming from a big 3 like jyp, and considering what they've been thru at the very beginning with joonhyuk I'm really glad their music has been consistent awesome :) I'm just very grateful for their existence

omg I didn’t know you were such a big stan!! that is amazing and so so endearing, omg ;_; I have followed their music for quite a while actually (ever since letting go dropped) but I didn’t properly get into them until their monthly mvs started (bless them for that, seriously. they work so hard) they are such sweet, down to earth guys, and it’s SO refreshing to follow a group that just feels so.. I can’t think of another word other than refreshing, lol. it just defines them so perfectly.

I also find it very, very weird to see them so under appreciated, just like you I have not disliked one song of them, which I can rarely say about a group or an artist (even if bts is my ultimate group, there are some bangtan songs I am not too fond of). though it’s kind of a breath of fresh air to be a fan of the underdogs, to be honest! the fandom feels so close and not overwhelming at all, and I kinda miss that within the army fandom, which was considerably smaller during the first half of 2015. even so, I do hope they get the recognition they deserve one day. their popularity is slowly growing, and I think it is only a matter of time until more people appreciate their music! and gosh yeah, don’t even let me get started on the members lol. I was 100% sure I was a wonpil stan but now I’m a bit all over the place (as always). young k will be the end of me :)))

HUGE BLOG CHANGE

Hello everyone! Wow…I haven’t been talking here pretty much since 6-7 months. I wanna make a quick but yet huge announment, at least in my ears. I started this tumblr almost 3 years ago and since then it was a pretty much multi-fandom blog, but the group I posted mainly about and which was my layout was EXO, especially member Chanyeol. Last year around summer I started falling hard for an underrated group and one of their members. I was lowkey a fan since the end of 2015, but with their comeback in summer the first thing they did was pushing EXO away from their number one and ultimate group spot. Still, I was actively involved and constantly updated with Chanyeol and his activities and posted them here on this blog. But, I felt it slowly fading. In October Chanyeol was then pushed down from his ultimate spot and the member of the other group took his place. He was still my no2, same as EXO themselves and I still followed their activities and kind of loved them.

Now, don’t get me wrong but…is it possible to fall out of love with a group and a certain person? Around December I fell in love with a lot of other groups, I knew them since quiet some time but they are all underrated groups and newier ones that don’t have that much material so you can get to know them. Suddenly we fans got the material - and I fell hard for some people and their groups. Chanyeol and EXO were pushed to No3 in December, No4 in late December, No5 in January and lastly completely away from my top 5 male artists in early February. I don’t know WHY it happened or HOW. I just completely lost interest in them. I check out their music and sometimes when I see new pictures of them I say “awwww!” and I get a lot of old feelings, but it’s not like how it was before. I don’t even feel anything for/towards Chanyeol anymore and it’s scary because he has been my unfought ultimate since 2012!

Anyways. To not make this any longer I just wanted to finally get this off my chest and announce that the main focus of this blog will be: 24K (no1 ults) Up10tion (my 2nd faves) SF9 (no 3) Astro (no 4) KNK (no 5) Also I will post about the following girl groups: Dreamcatcher (female ults) Red Velvet (2nd) Oh My Girl (3rd) Girls Generation (4th) Cosmic Girls (5th) and tons of others!

I will change my icon, bio & theme as soon as I have time. I’m sorry, but pretty much everything EXO and especially Chanyeol related will be gone because…I don’t stan them anymore. I have become a fan. I like their music. I will spazz a lot when they comeback and get excited, but not crazily like I currently am for 24K’s very-soon comeback.

In conclusion, if you followed me for EXO/Chanyeol, they will be only a very small percentage on my blog. If you followed me for the multifandom, this will never leave! Just that the groups I post about compleyely changed or to say, a lot.

Also I will make a huge follow and unfollow spree! I don’t do this because I dislike you or anything, it is just that out of 2K+ blogs, more than 80% are EXO and a lot are Chanyeol focused. This is not what I mainly post about.

Yeah, Hong Kong is def one of the more expensive Asian countries, haha, but it iiiis really nice there! Japan's summer was like 38-45 celsius when I went, haha. First thing I’ll do when I’m back in Japan is go to a convenience store and buy a haagen dazs sandwich haha. Japanese/Asian convenience stores are like the antithesis of grungy X’D they’re almost sparkling in comparison to the ones here in North America. Are there any convenience store snacks you might want to try?

(3/?) Oh! You could always visit your sister’s cat (and your sister) when you’re next free, maybe? And bring your own pet along when you get one :D? What would you name your future pet? That’s true! There does tend to be more modern exhibits around, but I’ve never actively looked up the more traditional older-style exhibits though. There’s a couple here in my city, I think, but the modern ones really do outweigh in quantity to those. Omg, ikr! I don’t get those either!! I literally tilt my head-

The interactive ones are a lot cooler in comparison because you actually get to interact with it, and watch what happens because of you. People in Japan normally took pity on us when we played in Akihabara in Tokyo! Major crane game power there, and a lot of tourists, so I think the people there just kind of expect varying gameplay levels there haha. Nono, I still have ramen at home! I’m just watching my weight-
